#add healing on ground for energy back and add being able to jump up to outpost back

Was personally never a fan of those mechanics, didn't like the dynamics that emerged from them
can you elaborate?
The infamous Q-heal removed alot of risk, cut some reliance on outposts and made it harder to kill 1v1.
Together with double jump which allowed more juking (for better or worse) along with the ability to jump to outposts it threw a wrench in the balance between the Airmechs I just didn't like the look of it all.
If they were added back; how would it benefit the game in your opinion?
i feel like the ground game is so boring right now
like all you can do is jump around
if you get to low you get pinned
and its hard to lift back up
like ive pinned people for like 30 seconds or more lol
i just think its awkward not having any answer to being low on hp and on the ground aside from dying pretty much unless youre angel
i think the jump back up to outpost thing would atleast help the awkward ground situation
but i still feel like its a bit boring thats why i suggested self heal
honestly im curious what would happen if they brought strike elements back and just toned them down a ton
like the self heal and double jump
or maybe just a different iteration entirely?
idk just another dynamic of movement on the ground would benefit the game i think
Yeah those "lockdown" situations are no fun, I agree. If you have no AA in the vicinity you can take cover under it leaves you with no options.
I can entertain the thought of jumping to outposts again for that sake.
I agree about jumping up to outposts
The airmech is a tool for capturing outposts and manipulating your forces first and foremost, adding back ground healing would make airmechs that specialize in defense or fighting other airmechs seem a bit weirdly balanced because you’re effectively nerfing them by making every mech more survivable which in turn is an indirect buff to harassing mechs that don’t even bother going for the kill anyway
i can agree with the previous self healing perhaps being too much, thats why i mentioned a potentially different iteration of it being added or a significantly reduced variation so that it doesnt make certain mechs too strong on offense/defense but still good enough to help avoid some of the awkward situations that being low health while grounded can put you in
but i still feel like the movement options for the ground mode are just a bit too one dimensional and boring
it just seems like the game needs a minor addition or something to it
maybe mech specific movement mechanics? Aside from just speed
Like how the saucer’s dodge/jump thing is a blink the other mechs could maybe have a more unique ground option
And as far as the healing goes I think maybe healing guardians could be buffed so they have that purpose
Where it becomes a trade off if you want to be more survivable
healing guardians being buffed would make some mechs super strong
Probably though it’s not as difficult to balance as q healing
Since you can alter healing guardians in a bunch of specific ways
