i would like to see some changes to this mech it feels very bad too play its only saveing grace is the stasis shot, but early on in the game feels so weak, i feel like this was an issue in strike too but her sniper is very inconsistent sometimes you can have clear line of sight and shots just dont land on things for seemingly no reason. hitting a moveing target feels like pure luck.

Angel is a good Airmech and its my main since I started playing. Not being able to use the hoover ability to quickly dodge in dangerous situations was a great downside, but it stills pretty good.
You have to consider that Angel can take down enemies from a distance that most units cant even try to react.
I think they nerfed Hyper Rail, since the last time I played It was possible to one shot everything on level 6 already. So farming XP killing Iron Hand units non stop could make Angel deadly early game. Or this is just an effect of Angel not having any itens or pilots, I dont know.
i agree she has felt significantly weaker since lack of items but the sniper feels very inconsistant at shooting mechs and generaly anything that moves , even when something is stationary it can just miss, and shooting anything from out of its range will cause it to shoot back reguardless
and yeah i dunno were your finding time to farm gray units when players are fighting you before you even take your 1st outpost
That depends on the map, attack route and grey units position.
Lets take Dust for example. When I send my units to capture the next outpost, I dont walk with them. As they are south moving to the target, im north taking down grey enemies.
On Duel there's some Goliaths that I take down when im waiting for my units to build
if i snipe at a goliath at low level it dose huge damage man
yeah i mean it might not be as bad as i thourt at 1st but it takes some getting yoused to to understand the nuances of makeing good use of the sniper , sometimes it dose just miss for litteraly no reason thou witch is super annoying

sometimes im shooting at a turret and the cursor is highlighted like an aim ect and ill hit hit miss hit and im not moveing anything just holding left click
sometimes im trying to shoot someone attempting to fly away and the cursor is like highlighted and it will just whiff , it kinda feels like how aiming can trail behind a bit were your cursor actualy is or its lag i dunno but the best way i can discribe it is it feels janky

1st shot hits , 2nd shot missed and flys strate over i did not move the cursor
it feels like there is a delay between when you aim at something and the red dot sight catching up to were your actualy targeting and its the same with regular bullets , but on the sinper it feels so much worse, u can see her gun is pointing the right way but the red dot sight is still catching up? that line is were the shot is going to fire

yeah hitting a player even if they are not jumping or flying seems so difficult lol
i was spectateing a high rank angel player and the same thing was happening to them they whiff shots etc

Oh, I need to check this, I had meant to return the glide ability to the Angel...
we had to get something working well enough for Arena, but it never felt right. With a renewed focus on gamepad I'd like to get it right this time. I'm open to some target snapping and the stick lets you switch around which one, if it can be balanced.
target snapping sounds great
if it needs balance just make the deploy speed slower
you could make a system to alternate/equip skills. Or set different skills to skins, like the differences between Helix and Ultimate Helix
that way we could have different play styles for the same mechs
maybe i should swap to useing a controler lol
Hmm, I'd really like to not have different skills in normal AirMech. Instead, make sure the core skills for every mech are as fitting and different as the Saucer. Further tweaking done with Parts.
maybe specialise a perticular ability with a parts setup
