I hate the semi rigid too but this had a thick sleeve, in a ridid, in a black mailer, taped between two ding defenders and then placed a bubble mailer. Its about as much as you can ask for for a single card.

As that's how PSA wants their submissions even, as shipping in mag cases are not considered safe

Safe for toploaders to an extent

They just bend easier than toploaders and the usa mail system has some ghetto machines doing the sorting so they get bent easier

Its not as big of a problem with bubble mailers because those a newer sorters. We still ship a lot in pwe, where semi rigid holders are gonna fair worse than toploaders. That is where it stems from

I always ship in semi rigid with exact fit sleeves. I also use 2 ding defenders all placed inside a team bag. That goes into a padded envelope which then goes into another envelope to ensure a good surface for the address label and any other labels needed. Sending card to Europe requires a lot of paperwork that gets attached to the envelope.

Adam being Adam forgot to ship in time and I have left the destination I was in. The package was lost but then re-appeared in 2023, but I was unable to get it.

Until a good samaritan colleague shipped to me 1 week ago!

In the past months, I've collected various cards and purchased some cases to mount them at the wall of my apartment. In the upcoming days, I will share this major part of my compact collection with you and I hope it’s not getting too boring.

Big big thanks to everyone who made it possible, but especially to @frigid fiber and @grizzled frost who supported me a lot and from the beginning provided a positive as well as trustful experience in regard of Kolex and the related community!

Starting with an eight-slot case and cards you likely already know. I can’t remember how my focus on collecting Wonderful started but it was existing before ripping the first booster, remained and I’m still very pleased with it. Especially now, when the critics getting quieter and it brings more joy to follow him through the matches.

The next one displays three cards. A5 Cadian was my first sig I’ve ever pulled one year ago when I’ve started to collect and purchased several 2024 Centurion boxes. I still remember the awesome feeling like it was yesterday, not just because it was a sig but it was Cadian. At the same day I found my second sig which was the A12 Wonderful. This was almost too much for me.

A1 Fallen was the first card I’ve purchased and I still very much appreciate this card. I mean we all know who he is but I always had a special affinity for Latin America and Brazil, even though I’ve never visited it. Additionally, for me he looks on the photo like the Jesus of CS, with his beard and the golden card layout. The fact that I’ve ordered this not heavily cheap card in China without much knowledge but high hopes, it makes it even more special – it was the first proof of the great and reliable community.

A10 Device is a very recent addition. There is not too much to add but mentioning that I want to own a card of each player I followed in the years of CS and who for me personally is a very relevant one. Therefore, Device must be part of the pack.

Going on with the first double case Niko / Monesy, the big and small brother relationship. I'm thankful that I've pulled them both because otherwise, it would get costly and I for sure would try to get one card for each of them anyway, especially a Niko. I think both fit very well together I like the Niko Legends clean black & gold design very much.

To tell you the truth, till I've pulled the Monesy Centurion, I was always wondering why collectors interested in this card type but I have to admit the design is awesome and the holo effect shines crazy. Unfortunately, that makes it very sensitive for quality issues as you can see at the grading result - it looks a bit like I've attached it on the hood of my car and drove a lap on the Nordschleife. Hehe

The next case is special for me because Heaton (next to Johnny R. and a few others) was one of the pro players who have been around when I've started to play CS, the good old days being young, wild and free (on some random public servers). 🙂 Furthermore, he is likely the first superstar CS had.

I admire both designs very much, the multicolor with the brown/orange sig (his first name "Emil" included) is a nice fit. However, especially the dark promo design looks amazing in reality what I’ve never expected. If you are interested in buying one of those but you might have doubts, I recommend to go for it.

One more aspect: For me both cards symbols a bit the good and the bad which you can find in anyone of us. Even the face expressions of Heaton telling this story.

Soon we will come to another matching number case (other than a1) but first, we are getting very quickly closer to the finish line with the both below:

As a Wonderful collector, you can imagine that this five-slot case is a very essential part of my collection even though it’s not finished yet. Apart the Centurion sig, it is stuffed with all first released Wonderful cards, the rookie, base and holo. For sure, my fave out of them is the a2 rookie. Likely this is his rookie card with the lowest mind known and as you are aware, I’m heavily collecting his rookies with currently owning roughly 100 of them. Hopefully, I can find one day the a1 but till this point in time, I will try to lower the base version because I assume a5 is improvable.

The stained glass is honestly not my favorite design but last week I’ve wore it around my neck at the Cathedral when Navi was defeating Mongolz so it now holds some emotions and reminds me of this experience. Due the stained glass design, it fits perfectly to the Cathedral event.

I like the a100 Kings of Copenhagen very much and appreciate the ability, that the 100 balances out a bit the mistake of positioning the mint left-aligned. Additionally, I was never that close to a 10 with a 9.5 rating, actually never before even received even a 9.

Talking about a great relationship between Niko and Monesy, the case with Get_right and Forest might be even more special; I mean was there ever a more likeable and successful duo than them? The a1 Forest was the first card I’ve purchased after 2024 Centurion and next to Neo, he might be the best player of the past. I strongly hope both of these Swedish legends will come back into spotlight of CS and maybe bringing this country back on the map. By the way when mentioning Sweden: Due the Legends gold/blue classic sig design it wears kind of the color code of Sweden in it and suits very well to the Crown Grading layout. 🙂

Coming to the grand finale…

…and coming to a blend of the past and the future. Simple and Wonderful, Wonderful and Simple. Both Ukrainian players, both AWPer, both Navi players, predecessor as well as successor, and both very gifted.

I personally like this Wonderful sig because it is just one of a few at which the sig is almost centered (for reference, please screen the a1 at the eight-slot case). This alone makes it very special. But as much as I like Wonderful cards, the Simple is honestly on another level – same like in reality when playing cs. I adore that it is last mint but what I by far most like about this card, and actually not like at many others, is the sig. It looks almost perfect, the curves are so smooth and so positioning is spot on, I had no other choice than getting this card (actually, it took three attempts on Card Hobby). Additionally, it is an Epics card and a design which was from first time seeing it my favorite one. No holo effects even needed, a beauty from any angle and under any light conditions.

Finishing the tour through my collection with the GOAT case. Neo – Simple – Zywoo, three eras of domination.

From the release of Legends, straight up I favored the classic sigs. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising I tried to hunt my all-time champs in this design. Unfortunately, Zywoo didn’t popped up but out of nowhere the Zywoo Legends GOAT card was offered here at the Discord server. For me it was the missing piece of puzzle to cover Zywoo und to fill the gap between Neo, likely the best CS 1.6 player, and Simple, the CS Go superstar.

It took months till the Zywoo card arrived and from my perspective I can tell you, that this card type is massively underrated. It is out of 10, just 6 versions, an expensive set, it is clean and the white/gold combined with the sunrise holo effect behind the player makes it look like he is truly a GOAT (the photo is not showing at all the real beauty, I will attach another one right after). For sure a recommendation from me if you cross one of those cards for instance here or at Card Hobby.

It seems like at this case, Simple and Neo looking proudly on his successor Zywoo, realizing how far the game and its heroes has come. And who knows, maybe in the future this case will get transformed to a four-slot version and next to Zywoo on the right, someone like Donk will take place. The tale is not finished yet, just as my collection hasn’t.

I slightly agree but I think I’ve kinda changed my mind a little on it.

The super rare stuff I still wouldn’t get signed like that but /100’s feels like it’s okay. It does look super sick and it’s gonna end up being really rare / low pop count on them being signed. So I don’t mind it. Kinda adds value imo.

Especially since they don’t gem when grading to begin with.

Wasn’t a reward, it was a redeemable as a special hit/pull and it was an event exclusive collector card in that specific events digital set

Since i like to collect Misprints and "funny" numbers as well, this is quite nice. As a lot of vendors in IT use to say "Same Same, but different". The only downside is ... i believe there is a 3rd one, which i don´t own. The owner of the digital card is not responding and i believe he has a third 🙂
