I've reached the rank needed for a higher tier in 3s, but when I try rank checking, it says that I'm already in the correct rank or higher. I'm tryna go from D to C.

The mmr needed to rank check into rank C is gc2, which is 1575 mmr if i remember right
Currently you are 1524 which is lower than that threshold, meaning you are properly placed
