although my rank is what is needed for rank d, how can i get there without having to play through rank e considering the rank e seems to be fairly empty and rank d seems to be active as anything

I learnt that you had to rank check in order to promote yourself but i didnt see anywhere that you couldnt do it if you had played 5 games this current season. I ranked my 3s up entirely in order to rank check but i cant.

Other thing being that i can only ever play at this sorta time, its rare that i get to be on earlier and going of how the looks of rank e is every single time i go to q.. theres like no one q'ing making it impossible for me to actually manually rank up without having to rank check.

You can promote to rank D by playing the game and ranking up to Champion 3 in 3v3 Competitive.
Rank check can be done through the website>login>account>settings>Rank Check>Click the big green button on the middle of the screen.

Because you have already played 5 series this season, you will have to wait until the season reset (In 5-6 days max).

Also, it's not always like this that everyone is active at these hours in the rank D, some days there's almost no queue past 12am

Considering i ranked my 3s up almost 300 mmr thinking it would automatically move me to rank d after a rank check

I was just seeing if there is any other way if i could be moved beforehand as opposed to waiting for the season

all on the basis i werent actually aware of the 5 game rule

I can tell you from what i've seen that every rank has some sort of toxicity in it. It's a common thing in Rocket League
