i didnt quite know how her story played out, got frustrated about how you cant really help her after arriving at act 3 so i restarted the playthrough

thought her story was only half done like wyll's but it turned out pretty ok in the end imo

Early access was all about Astarion for me, i was really hoping they would let you become a vampire I wanted to have my own twilight story but they wanted him to be less vampire instead

And I think you're right that karlachs story is half done, she was barely in early access at all and had a major revamp right before the full release, seems like they prioritized other things first. Even sadder that wyll was in since the beginning and still feels kind of shallow

I've been a dungeons and dragons nerd for like a decade, and the gith are one of the most uniquely dungeons and dragons creations (as in, not just stolen from tolkien etc.) but they're supposed to be split into githyanki and githzerai as two different species both traumatized by mindflayers in their own way. But BG3 only focuses on the githyanki and adds in the story about orpheus? instead of including the other half of that picture to give you perspective so Lae'zel just comes off as a meanie.
