Here’s the issue, just because her ability is OP, doesn’t mean she herself is lol. Megumi would have had the same thing happen to him as an example, because mahito was a special grade with an absurd ability, what matters in JJK a lot is a sorcerer’s technique, cursed energy usage, and general speed + strength

Megumi on his own IS useless lol, he had a lot of development all to basically be non existent now with sukuna’s ass taking him over

His technique, yet again, is OP only due to mahoraga

That’s why Sukuna needed him

Otherwise, megumi was pretty useless

And megumi can’t hurt a soul

Nobara and Yuji can

Megumi only has so much development due to not dying early on

Nobara literally would have gotten just as much development if she wasn’t killed off early lol

And keep in mind sukuna hated Yuji and his body

Yuji’s body was a PRISON for sukuna

He needed to escape it for his plans

He never wanted Yuji’s body in the first place lol

Also yeah you can mention the manga for barely any development

I never read early JJK and whatnot, only read during the culling games arc and beyond til now

I watched the anime for everything else

And the anime doesn’t do “filler”

It’s literally regarded as one of the best anime adaptations so far

Because it not only takes what exists, but it expands upon it, and even GEGE agrees with it.
