Me and my friend managed 60 minutes of playtime today before we had a similar TIMED OUT message, both at the same time. Except this time it read 60 seconds instead of 30. Probably because we edited the timer in the engine.ini file to 60 seconds.

I immediately went into the crash logs of the server, but this time there was no fresh logfile. So I looked into my client folders. There was no crash log either. I looked into the regular logs. It seemed that at some point the client lost connection to the server. So then I went to the regular logs of the server. There was only one logfile that started logging at the exact same time that the client log lost its connection.

My hypothesis is that it is a different issue from the last one. Then the server crashed seemingly because of some issues with a blueprint. This time it seems as if something caused the server to reboot, but did not log it as a crash.

Anyone any ideas to start my troubleshooting for when I can sit down behind the pc again?

@hidden forge I just wanted to say thanks again. The Wolveix worked. Uploaded the save and we're off 🙂

#

Whats the command to restart a wolveix server?

#

Okay, weird issue. I was playing fine earlier, and my game crashed.

Now when I try to get back on, my character is in the respawn location, without any items, and frozen in place like 5 feet off the ground, and it crashes my friends when I log in.

Use the docker compose method

Assuming this is ubuntu-ish

The Server is logging this

mild thunder

if you watched the log, when it loaded the world, it would have additionally bound to 8888 tcp if running on default ports

I figured mine out. It was because my gaming setup was on TMobile home internet and it scrambles the IP and it don’t like it.

Aha, i followed a setup video feom a guy on YouTube, and he showrd only opening up 7777 on both protocols and his game worked . but okay, i will reconfigure the server side firewall to open 8888 to on both protocols.. thanx, will let know if it works

Satisfactory wiki says a server takes 16gb ram, is this a hard minimum? Or could I use 8gb? I have all the other requirements it's just ram I'm low on. I'd be playing with 2-3 players total on the server.

Edit: The issue was my server PC was set to one IP, but somehow was handed a different IP by the router at the same time. Reset everything and got it all on one IP and it works fine.

I'm trying to setup a dedicated server on a spare local PC, and am having trouble with the server showing the incoming connection as accepted, but the connection never works.

I was able to connect with server manager on the host machine running the dedicated server and claim the server, but other machines on the same local network show the server as offline. I can see the incoming connection from the IP address showing accepted just like when the host machine connects, but it never actually connects.

I can even see incoming connections from outside my LAN and they show as connecting, but they don't work either.

orchid folio
#

*>Server logs may be found in the server's install directory in the FactoryGame/Saved/Logs directory. Note that depending on build and branch, not all of these may be present.

The server keeps a running log of all of the messages it prints to the console. Logs are rotated on server start, with the latest (current) log being named FactoryGame.log, with the others following a datetime filename pattern FactoryGame-backup-DATE-TIME.log. On Linux, up to 15 log files are kept on disk.

The server by default also uploads crash dump reports of every crashed server instance. A crash report directory with a randomly-generated UUID is created on server start, saved to the FactoryGame/Saved/Crashes directory.

The game client follows a similar pattern, but the logs and crash dumps are kept in the user's AppData directory alongside save files.*

Hello!

I have a friend trying to join a dedicated server. His entire game is crashing on this server

Here’s the catch, he can join OTHER dedicated servers just fine, and he has already been on this server many times before. This randomly started today and it’s a full game crash

Any ideas?

HI im the friend in question, I can even hear the sound of the train coming past when loading in before everything crashes

#

as for reference things I have done: restart pc, update & restart mods, join other sevrvers to test. Switch to directX11, Switch back to directX12, verify game files, check for bios updates. Set graphic settings to lowest. Today is not the first time the crashed happened. It happened a week ago, then I lowerd my settings from high to medium and I could join again. Yesterday when building on the server the game started doing funky shit leaving my beams blue(the placement highlight blue) after building and not letting me delete them. I then went back to main menu and tried to rejoin the server. I have crashed every time I tried to rejoin and none of the fices seemed to make a difference. I can upload crash reports here too if peopel are interested.

#

Thanks for any help, this is confusing me a lot

Interesting... could be graphics driver. Crash log would be useful yea

Issue: SteamCMD downloads wrong server version - Epic instead of Steam.

What should happen: SteamCMD (App ID 1690800) should give us the Steam dedicated server version with FactoryGameServer.exe.

What actually happens: We get the Epic Games Store version with FactoryServer.exe, which doesn't work for self-hosting.

The problem: The Epic version requires complicated Epic Online Services setup that isn't documented for regular server hosting. The server shows up in the game list, but clicking "Join" does nothing. Trying to connect via console gives "Encryption token missing" error. Server logs show "NULL online backend" and "Failed to initialize schema registry" errors.

What I've tried:

Multiple SteamCMD commands and variations

Complete clean installs

Different beta versions (public, experimental)

Checking ports and firewall (all correct)

Why this matters: The official Satisfactory wiki says to use SteamCMD for dedicated servers, but currently it gives an unusable version. The wiki also states that the Epic version is "not recommended for self-hosting" - yet that's exactly what SteamCMD distributes.

My setup: Windows Server 2022, static public IP, all required ports forwarded (7777, 15000, 15777).

Request to devs: Please either fix the SteamCMD deployment to give the correct Steam version, or provide an alternative way to download the working Steam dedicated server files.

I can provide: Screenshots of the folder contents, full SteamCMD installation logs, server error logs, and help with testing any fixes.

I can't spot anything obvious in that log but I am far from an expert on UE - might be worth #1038092680493801533 and making one there

Should I add a GSLT token to my dedicated server?

#

Playing a dedicated server on a computer I have run satisfactory servers on in the past with no issue. Seemingly out of nowhere we are getting random rubberbanding/hitching. We cannot seem to identify the issue, Internet is fine, ping is stable 22ms, up/down is 500ish. The only thing I see in the cmd for the server is

LogNetPackageMap: Warning: FNetGUIDCache::SupportsObject: LightweightCollisionComponent /Game/FactoryGame/Map/GameLevel01/Persistent_Level.Persistent_Level:PersistentLevel.AbstractInstanceManager_2147481968.LightweightCollisionComponent_2147471845 NOT Supported.

Any suggestions?

drifting hatch
#

No idea from that message, how long ago is the past? Game has evolved, could it be a memory or CPU issue?

#

e.g. not enough of either

pure fog
#

I don't think so, me and my buddy did a playthrough with the same computer hosting like 2 months ago

drifting hatch
#

Oh okay so very recent, 1.1

pure fog
#

Yes definitely

drifting hatch
#

Not sure but ping time, throughput speed, etc, is only a few metrics. Are you could be experiencing packet loss somewhere on the route for example, which is not always obviously visible but sensitive time critical applications like video games can expose that sort of thing

pure fog
#

Just ran a quick test on the server PC and did not have any packet loss, this rubberbanding is happening every 3-4 minutes or so

drifting hatch
#

What if you do the same to your friend, different route, different routers, etc

pure fog
#

Just to clarify, ping his IP and check for packet loss?

drifting hatch
#

Yea it could be a different route from* google

#

Most likely is

#

or did I misunderstand, you are just playing solo on your server?

pure fog
#

No I am palying with a friend, this isssue is happening on my end (seperate pc from server pc) and also on his end (he lin Minnesota, I am in Texas)

drifting hatch
#

Oh okay, sounds like it's the server then, or networking near the server that you're both going through, at a guess

#

Is it a rented server?

pure fog
#

No it is my personal computer, I am going to try and change DNS server on it, I just remembered when the AWS outage happened, the effects lingered for me, and I had to manually change the DNS server on my devices instead of leaving it set to DHCP because I kept losing connection to steam/PSN/streaming services/etc and I had not done that on my server PC

drifting hatch
#

Ah okay, not entirely sure how changing DNS server will help, all that does is the resolution, but you know better than me with your setup 🙂

pure fog
#

Yeah it did not help. figured it was worth a shot!

#

Any other suggestions?

drifting hatch
#

If you're running the server and client both on the same PC it does demand quite decent hardware specs. It's like you're running the game twice (apart from the graphics)

pure fog
#

No it is seperate PC's. The server is on its own PC and I am playing on an entirely different PC

#

This is what shows in the Satisfactory CMD when the hitch/rubberband happens if it helps

drifting hatch
#

I wonder if it's some issue with your save, are you able to try a different save or new factory and see if it happens there?

pure fog
#

I am loading a save from a few hours ago now, will keep you posted

drifting hatch
#

Those messages don't look particularly networking'ish related, so might be something map related

pure fog
#

Yeah the same issue is happening on the save from like 3 hours ago, I am going to try one from about 20ish hours ago, and see if the problem is still there

drifting hatch
#

Worth a try, or even create a new factory and see what happens there if no luck with the 20 hour one

pure fog
#

Same thing on the 20 hour old save as well, will try a WHOLE new factory now

#

Same thing on the new world as well, this is very odd

drifting hatch
#

Yikes yea, tricky one... Is the CPU getting maxed out on a core or overall? I'm struggling to think what this could be

pure fog
#

Not at all, only using 5% total in task manager, but you can tell me if you think anything looks out of place here

drifting hatch
#

Looks very fine

#

Did you try googling one of those errors? Probably a long-shot

pure fog
#

I did, it brought up a lot of unreleated server issues, nothing relating to mine specifically

drifting hatch
#

Sounds about right xD
I'm out of ideas :/

pure fog
#

Yeah I appreciate you giving it some thought at least! I am pretty tired of messing with it myself, hopefully someone reads this while I am asleep and has a Jimmy Neutron brain blast for a solution, but I am going to let it be for the night 😂

drifting hatch

Sounds like a plan 🤣 It's certainly possible when different parts of the world wake up and read this someone might know.. Otherwise have a good night and fingers crossed xD

Hey guys. Just transfered a game save that i was running with friends on my pc to a dedicated server due to the save getting to big for my little pc to handle while also playing. Before I wouldnt have issues with factories stopping to work due to resources not coming to them but now that im running on the server i feel like either i am loading where the resources are coming from or they just dont come at all. Is that a dedicated server issue that i can fix or is it a factory issue (its not consuming more than im bringing so it shouldnt be the problem)?

I’m playing with my buddy on a dedicated server he created (following this guide https://www.reddit.com/r/SatisfactoryGame/s/099qH4yIQa). Whenever his pc is running, the server is running fine but when he turns it off, the server closes.
Am I not understanding things correctly or are we doing something wrong?

Presumably he's running the dedicated server on the same PC?

drifting hatch

Would explain that then 😉

lusty hawk

So he needs to leave his pc on or get a device to keep the program running? Or are there other options?

The dedicated server, depending how he's set it up, is a separate program running, so yep, if you shutdown the PC it's not going to be running anymore

and it's all correctly mapped? if not specified the ReliablePort will still be 8888/tcp

im not sure

So 30200/tdp/udp 8888/tcp

idk what that means

It's nothing you have to do, it's port mappings that the server needs

If you can't connect when there are 3 in there, either the server is full or it just can't handle another client at a guess

@south mulch ^^

south mulch

yea u did it

#

but what post now

drifting hatch
#

Got there in the end lol

#

Just right above, what Xeet wrote there

south mulch
#

i can try

drifting hatch
#

and perhaps try something higher than 8888

south mulch
#

30200?

drifting hatch
#

Can't be the same as -Port=

#

Could be 30201 though

south mulch
#

suggestion?

#

aight

drifting hatch
#

Firewall needs to be open

#

If not automatic with that provider

south mulch
#

and how do I do that?

drifting hatch
#

I don't know how the hosting provider works, you mentioned it's a 3rd party service

#

Control panel?

#

None of this is done on your client, this is all server-side stuff

south mulch
#

well that doesnt help me

drifting hatch
#

It might do if some sort of blocking is going on to 8888, albeit unlikely if it sometimes works and other times not

south mulch
#

well we shall find out

drifting hatch
#

Going to sleep, good luck! I'm sure Xeet can handle this one 😉

south mulch
#

Xeet!! loll

anybody use amp for dedicated server? i have ran a few.. tried to make one and cant get the server to not be "offline" feel like something has changed...

drifting hatch
#

Never used it but it comes up here quite often as problematic xD

silent gorge
#

its been flawless for me forever.. then all of a sudden this time around its just not working 🙁

drifting hatch
#

Can you post some screenshots so I can get a vague idea of the setup?

silent gorge
#

one moment

#

so theres not much in the way of configs... ive tried using one of my dedicated IP's, multihome with all available, changing ports, disabling firewall on server and clients, fresh installs, ... below is screenshots of the two main config pages, and then the last console entry for boot, and an error i came across reviewing logs

drifting hatch
#

The screenshots look fine, can't see anything wrong or unusual there

#

SSL cert might be the problem

#

Is the system clock correct / synchronised?

#

(On all systems involved)

silent gorge
#

within 30 seconds of client so should be good

drifting hatch
#

I think the SSL is done over the ReliablePort 8888/tcp, is that definitely open? Can you scan it?

silent gorge
#

I have disabled the firewall completely on server and client

drifting hatch
#

Actually looks like it's done over 7777/tcp

#

Do you get anything logged on the server when you try to connect?

#

or is it those SSL related messages above

silent gorge
#

from the client it wont let me connect. server appears offline

#

going to try a direct join instead see if that pops anything in the console

drifting hatch
#

It sounds like a networking / firewall / ports issue if it's showing offline in server manager

silent gorge
#

thats why i thought but one would think disabling the firewall would rule that out. its wide open and i can use other games hosted on the server without issue

drifting hatch
#

Could be 7777/udp if showing offline / no ping response

#

Is this server hosted locally on the LAN ?

silent gorge
#

got a connection timeout from the client side. nothing in console

#

and no its not

drifting hatch
#

One would assume it would be open if the firewall is disabled

silent gorge
#

i also manually made a rule for all apps over 7777 and 8888 just to try ruling that out

drifting hatch
#

If you wish to DM me the IP I can do a port scan on the TCP ports to see if they are chatty

#

Both 7777/tcp and 8888/tcp are filtered (firewalled) and not accessible

#

So I assume 7777/udp is also filtered but can't scan UDP

#

There's a firewall blocking access somewhere

#

@silent gorge I resumed here so people know what's going on 🙂

#

Just to confirm the server was running when I did the scan?

silent gorge
#

Yes it was

drifting hatch
#

Both are filtered either way

#

Won't let me paste the report but something is blocking access

silent gorge
#

rule is allow any over tcp and udp 7777 and 8888

drifting hatch
#

Where is this hosted?

silent gorge
#

datacenter in texas

drifting hatch
#

Is there a higher level firewall, like if it's a VPS, is there a control panel, sometimes there is a provider firewall

silent gorge
#

not a vps. its my own phsical box

#

shouldn be a provider firewall on my connection but will have to do some research on that one. satisfactory is the only game server being blocked it seems

drifting hatch
#

You could try running it on different ports

#

Maybe higher level ones

silent gorge
#

last week i tried 27777 and 28888 with same results

#

ill reach out to them tomorrow and see if they have anything blocking it

#

thanks for taking the time

drifting hatch
#

Is the server definitely listening on that IP? It should be because the AMP panel is bound to 0.0.0.0 but maybe worth checking netstat / ss for listening ports

silent gorge
#

I had one build where it was using the actual ip instead of 0.0.0.0

#

each time i have been changing one thing to see if it makes a difference

drifting hatch
#

What's the output of
ss -ln | grep 7777

#

(Lists listening ports)

silent gorge
#

windows box, don't think grep works

#

does it?

drifting hatch
#

Oh it's Windows, gotcha

#

Probably not without WSL or something like that

#

and the Windows firewall is entirely disabled?

#

or just rules now added?

silent gorge
#

enabled with the rules... but ill disable it now

drifting hatch
#

In the Windows section - to create rules

silent gorge
#

TCP 0.0.0.0:7777 otgdedicated:0 LISTENING

drifting hatch
#

How about UDP

#

7777/tcp is still showing as filtered so assuming the server is running, there is still a firewall or something blocking access somewhere

silent gorge
#

wait i got distracted sorry

#

off now

drifting hatch
#

np

#

Still filtered

silent gorge
#

UDP 0.0.0.0:7777 :
[FactoryServer-Win64-Shipping.exe]

#

that was what i found for udp

#

no udp say listening

drifting hatch
#

I think that's okay, it's open for that binary

#

The main issue is that the tcp ports are blocked

silent gorge
#

let me check one thing real quick

drifting hatch
#

Sure

silent gorge
#

try now

drifting hatch
#

Still the same, filtered/blocked, I'll try 8888

#

Yep also filtered/blocked :/

#

IP address 100% correct? xD

silent gorge
#

no luck, going to see if data center has a block on it somehow... appreciate the time and support.. great great help

drifting hatch
#

As you mentioned, have a chat with the provider to double check if anything being blocked at a higher level, but if Icarus was working it also seems less likely

#

No problem at all, just hope you can find the root cause

silent gorge
#

im going to reenable that one tomorrow too just to verify the port.

#

appreciate you

drifting hatch
#

Another thing you could try is running the dedicated server manually using SteamCMD (described in the official dedicated server wiki page), just to test if you can access through those ports that way. Then would rule in or out AMP

silent gorge
#

good idea, will try that as well

drifting hatch
#

Let us know the outcome in due course 🙂

silent gorge
#

will do, have a good evening

drifting hatch

You too

hidden forge

# plain elm Any idea on how to fix this?

if you had save inventory on, place down a chest and then use a save editor to move over the items from the old body to the chest, if it was off, then just keep hitting the old body till a chest appears.

Wand-treatment required yea xD

Is there anyone that is experienced with setting up a dedicated server locally on their PC that might able to assist me? Idk what is going on, and I have been troubleshooting literally all day and night off and on. I had a server set up a year ago with zero issue. Came back today to set one up so a buddy and me could play, but now, all I get is "Your connection to the host has been lost" pop up after it shows the load screen for a brief time. Other times the game will straight up crash and I have to re launch. I am familar with port forwarding and am pretty confident that is setup correctly. I can connect to the dedicated server using my local ip address with no issue and play, but if I use my public IP address, neither myself or my friends that are outside my local network can connect either.

I would be more than happy to screen share if that would help. I am totally at a loss now. Youtube, google searching, and chatgpt has all failed me so far. I have tried even resetting my modem/ router and resetting things back up. I have removed saves, reinstalled the game/ dedicated server, etc. I honestly don't know what else to try. What is funny is... I can connect using my public IP address in other games dedicated servers that I host like Necesse, Core Keeper, and etc. I am not sure why Satisfactory won't allow inbound external traffic and its making me bang my head on my desk after all my failed troubleshooting 🥹 .

Any suggestions, or assistance would be great! As I mentioned earlier in the message, I can screen share if that helps.

sacred flame
#

I must be going crazy because I can't connect to my server externally, only locally
UDP/TCP 7777, and TCP 8888 is forwarded
UDP/TCP 7777, and TCP 8888 for the firewall for both inbound and outbound are all set to allow

Connecting via local LAN IP works, but public IP doesn't

drifting hatch
#

It's possible your provider is firewalling

#

Presumably not behind CGNAT?

sacred flame
drifting hatch
#

What's the first half of your IP ?

hidden forge
#

And does the IP at the routers WAN port match whatever online tool says your public IP is?

sacred flame
#

64.147

drifting hatch
#

Seems ok

sacred flame
drifting hatch
#

DM me your IP if you wish and I'll port scan it

#

Both TCP ports are filtered (firewalled)

#

Could be your provider

sacred flame
#

great

drifting hatch
#

You could try different ports, maybe higher level

sacred flame
#

I'm not sure how to change it on the server. it's stuck on 7777

drifting hatch
#

How are you running the server?

sacred flame
#

on a laptop

drifting hatch
#

As in like SteamCMD?

sacred flame
#

I'm opening it directly, not through steam

drifting hatch
#

Like a shortcut?

sacred flame
#

yeah

drifting hatch
#

Can you edit the shortcut and add arguments:
-Port=47777 -ReliablePort=47778

#

And try opening those ports on the firewall and the router port forwarding

#

So it would be 47777/tcp 47777/udp 47778/tcp

hidden forge
#

Can you post your firewall rules?

drifting hatch
#

^ might be worth doing that first yea

sacred flame
#

what section exactly?

#

it's the same for TCP/UDP/8888/in/out

hidden forge
#

First mistake, you need to set LOCAL port, not remote

#

And remove the outbound

sacred flame
#

weird

#

what's strange is that I already had it set to local for inbound rules

hidden forge
#

You removed the outbound rules?

sacred flame
#

yeah

#

those were set to remote

hidden forge
#

Zatie, please test again

drifting hatch
#

Filtered

#
7777/tcp filtered```
hidden forge
#

Then forwarding rules next please

sacred flame
#

hm?

sacred flame
drifting hatch
#

Can you post screenshots of the port forwarding as Xeet mentioned?

#

From your router

sacred flame
drifting hatch
#

Where is the IP specified

sacred flame
#

it's just the local server ip. doesn't matter

#

LAN IP

drifting hatch
#

Yea where is it set

sacred flame
#

just above

drifting hatch
#

You can paste it if internal it's not accessible on the Internet

#

It's like a 192.168... ?

sacred flame
#

fair lol. Does it matter though?

#

yeah

#

I don't think knowing it would be useful

drifting hatch
#

Need to verify it's correct

sacred flame
#

it is. I gave the laptop a static IP and it's just that IP

drifting hatch
#

Okay well as long as it's 100% correct, will have to take your word for it

#

What you reckon Xeet, try the diff ports?

#

Can you right click on the shortcut you run the server with, Properties, and take a screenshot of the Shortcut tab?

sacred flame
#

I mean I have the direct exe too

drifting hatch
#

How do you run the .exe? From command prompt?

sacred flame
#

either shortcut or direct

drifting hatch
#

So put a space after FactoryServer.exe and add on the end:
-Port=47777 -ReliablePort=47778

lime goblet
drifting hatch
#

and then the same process again for the firewall and the port mappings
Firewall needs the identical 3 inbound rules, only with those ports instead (47777/TCP 47777/UDP and 47778/TCP)

#

Port Mappings on the router, same applies

sacred flame
#

I was about to make new rules before I realised I can just edit the ones I have

#

done

drifting hatch
#

and once the port mappings done re-run the server

#

if not already

#

When you connect in-game, enter the port in the box - 47777

sacred flame
#

I don't have a port option, just an ip option

drifting hatch
#

You might need to add the server again in Server Manager

#

There is a Port field below

sacred flame
#

ah right

#

ok go tit

drifting hatch
#

Does it work locally?

sacred flame
#

It's pinging

#

so I assume so

drifting hatch
#

Unfortunately, remote scans are the same - filtered

sacred flame
#

maybe it's because my router's downstream of another?

drifting hatch
#

Oh that's an important detail xD

#

Downstream of what exactly?

sacred flame
#

another router

#

regular router

drifting hatch
#

Yes that is a big problem

#

That upstream router needs to be configured as well

sacred flame
#

damn

#

both port forwarding?

drifting hatch
#

Yes it needs to port forward to the next router

#

Why do you have 2 routers out of interest?

sacred flame
#

mine and my dad's networks

#

why is it like that...I don't know

drifting hatch
#

It's one public IP address?

sacred flame
#

I doubt it. mine's just connected via ethernet, not the modem

drifting hatch
#

Sounds like that primary router needs port mappings as well

sacred flame
#

pointing to my router's IP?

drifting hatch
#

Yep, just to clarify, your router has an internal IP address on both sides?

lime goblet
drifting hatch
drifting hatch
#

on everything

sacred flame
#

so I'd only have to port forward on that one?

drifting hatch
#

It depends how this is configured

#

Do you have multiple public IPs and that primary router is statically routing inbounds to your public IP to your router, or are they just chatting on an internal LAN

hidden forge
drifting hatch
#

Primary router needs to forward those ports to yours

sacred flame
#

just internal?

drifting hatch
#

If it's an internal IP address yea

sacred flame
#

still no luck

drifting hatch
#

One sec just on phone one sec xD

sacred flame
#

take your time. Also, PCP or DMZ?

drifting hatch
#

Without knowing exactly how these routers are configured it's hard to say for sure

#

Almost done xD

#

Really need to know how these routers are configured, I doubt it's a DMZ because otherwise your Dad wouldn't be able to do much

#

Unless you have multiple public IPs and your public is a DMZ to your router

sacred flame
#

well the layout is modem > his > mine > another mine but it's bridged so it acts like one router anyway

drifting hatch
#

Oh boy xD

#

Why are you bridging a 3rd router?

sacred flame
#

it's in my room that connects my computer and everything via ethernet

#

though I could just use a switch for that

drifting hatch
#

If you run a traceroute from your PC to say 8.8.8.8, is there an internal hop to the primary router?

sacred flame
#

how do I do that?

drifting hatch
#

Command Prompt

#

tracert 8.8.8.8

sacred flame
#

uh there's a lot of IPs

#

I see mine and his and then it goes external

drifting hatch
#

Really interested in the first 1 or 2

sacred flame
#

ok yeah, it's mine then his

drifting hatch
#

Are they both internal IPs ?

sacred flame
#

yup

#

192s

drifting hatch
#

Okay so on the main router, you need to open port mappings to the internal IP address of your router

#

It will be different from the trace, which is outbound

#

Whatever the IP is on your router that your Dad's router talks to

sacred flame
#

yeah I did the UDP TCP and pointed it to my router

#

gave it a static IP too

drifting hatch
#

Did you revert all back to standard ports?

sacred flame
#

on mine?

drifting hatch
#

On everything

#

Everything has to match

sacred flame
drifting hatch
#

All the routers, firewalls, everything

#

Yeah

sacred flame
#

yup

drifting hatch
#

Removed the command line options from the shortcut?

#

and re-run the server
