They wanted laptop factory reset, cleaned, repasted and new PSU. So I am not getting to tweak anything.

And even if it's an update, a system should shut down and then to do the update process on next boot up. And not just restart after a shut down. Did it twice.

Halts, hibernates and sets BIOS/UEFI into special mode.

And on next start in theory loads just that hibernated thing.

Usually stuck boot, where you then have to force-shutdown and start again, and this time Windows boots normally, and not using the previous partial boot.

And is completely unnecessary with any SSD.
Just made boots faster with HDD, but made shutdown much slower.

So well optimized game uses less CPU and GPU for same visual quality etc.

Someone in the chain didn't allow for settings that would make the game "uglier" for some reason, even when that pushed the minimum HW requirements from GPU side way too high.

I understand the concept of the gaming laptop and it's benefits. But pure hardware wise and performance, cramming it all in such a small space.

But that is up to laptop manufacturer to some extent, but usually the number in TechPowerUp is the max that can be used.

That N18P-G61-MP2 die corresponds to both 1650 laptop variants, where default is 50W TDP, and Max-Q extra lowers it to 30W.

Don't remember if that "Mobile" was still official part of the name with 1650 laptop parts or not.

But ok, even I was wrong, there is also 40W variant listed in the other entry, didn't look low enough.

But laptop GPU power limits with Nvidia at least are complete mess.
As Nvidia just sets the max allowed, and then laptop makers can configure lower one if they want.
With last few generations, the difference between minimum in use and maximum in use has gotten gigantic.
Like 50W to 120W level.

Branded exactly the same between two laptops, and then that level of power limit difference when you fully check the specs.

Another thing with recent gaming laptops you have to check is how much power can the power adapter deliver...
You have CPU with TDP of X, GPU with TDP of Y, and then power adapter that can only deliver 75% of X+Y for example.
And even not taking into account CPU turbo over that TDP.

If that is the old Philips Fidelio X2HR that hasn't been in production for years.

And DT880 for example has several different versions with different impedances.
Where higher impedance makes them not work without actual headphone amp with high enough output voltages.

But basically with headphones, there are four main types on response.
Flat.
Bass boosted.
Treble boosted.
Bass+Treble boosted.

And what sounds good to who depends on personal preference.
IIRC most cheaper end Sennheiser stuff is in that last category? But might be bad memory again.

Where that "cheaper end Sennheiser" includes that HD600 as the last or so.

Can confirm: HD6XX are great.
The entire tier list is weird though. There are a lot of factors to consider with a headphone. Like HD6XX are wonderfully flat, but if you're looking for privacy with your headphones these open backs aren't going to be the ticket.

Also anything in that area is going to require an audio interface or headphone amp.

Not entirely fair to be comparing them to USB gamer headsets.
