Yes, because old BIOS boot was fragile.
UEFI boot and current Windows boot loader work with partition GUIDs, not partition numbers.

And support for multi-boot is baked into that UEFI boot.
Where the EFI partition can contain multiple OS bootloaders and you can use UEFI to select which to boot.

And those second stage bootloaders are more intelligent.

Like that using partition GUID to boot the OS.

Basically Your computer < VPN > Server 1 < VPN > Server 2 < > Internet.

So for that second, the point is that if you want to always use VPN, to prevent any network traffic reliably while the VPN connection is down for any reason.

New Oblivion remaster is spiking my CPU usage to 100% and causing it run at 88c I value my hardware and this isn't acceptable I've seen posts on people claiming they're entire system is just shutting down due to thermal throttling during even the start-up and after leaving the shaders cache and compile.. Weirdly this only happens in Oblivion most UE5 games are don't cause this issue at least for me.

Just found out that the Aquacomputer Quadro controllers on my 2 machines can exchange data thru their web service. So I can send those water temps to the server, and then control the fans/and pumps there. Without adding additional temp sensors there.

My old 9800X3D and 4090 in LianLi Lancool 216 with CPU/GPU custom loop was nice for cable managment. But it only has m.2 storage.

Buyer coming to pick it up tomorrow. Been testing it for few days, tbh custom loop does not make much sense for it with dual 360 radiators. Can't really run the fans low enough to keep it silent with that radiator area, if want to keep water below 40°C.. 50°C water will show up as increased temps on CPU/GPU

But I enjoyed building it more than putting the air cooler back on the GPU, and the watercooling parts would just sit on my shelf unused.

But the tube/pipe/cable managment for my own dual PC system will be pain. Screw copper piping to wall, keep the radiator location swap easy etc
