I just say there is also temperature based control that kicks in to up the fan above that if the base curve isn't enough to actually keep the components cool.

And that is causing the PSUs to cycle the fan on desk for several Primes I have run before putting them in case.

I am not sure if it's windows 11. Or because I switched to AMD.

But twice in a month, when I alt + tab from desktop/discord to GW2 for example, my screen freezes into black. Audio cuts out. And then my PC restarts.

And I cannot see anything in the logs besides: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

Any tips in how to figure out wth is going on?

hm, alt-tabbing can be problematic in SOME games (causing the game to crash) ... but to cause a whole system reboot? thats rare

did you run a DDU on your system when you changed to AMD? wiping out all nvidia

Yes. So far never happened. One more detail. I was in both instances on discord voice chat.

So, alt + tab, my being on voice discord, tabbing back into Guild Wars 2 (didn't happen yet with other games), black screen, audio cuts out, PC reboots.

That was why I suggested trying to underclock the GPU to the AMD reference clocks, from the card default clocks.

Now waiting for all the news reporting how SpaceX Starship blew up again.
Forgetting to specify that all the primary test objectives were filled and they were trying something absolutely insane again.

And might not even have been related to that, but possibly "just" one of the engines blowing up on restart.

Because they started bunch of engines, then few of those shut down in cluster on one side.
Then that spread out to large amount sometime later, then all went out, and then it blew up.

And one of the engines that shut down in that cluster was one that wasn't restarted, but ran continously since ground.

My Take - The problems they had last time (not all engines lit up, no separation etc) - fixed. Now for some new problems.

All the engines did lit up, some just got destroyed by the pad concrete flying around in the first seconds.

They added that water deluge system and steel plates cooled by the previous to not have that happen again.
The parts were already waiting near the pad during last launch.

Just needed to get the rocket off the pad first, before they could install the stuff.

And they didn't move the rocket back to wait, but launched it instead, even when they knew they would probably get damaged engines.

Hardware rich development, the rocket on pad was already obsolete.

And that allowed them to find the later problems with the stage separation, and fix that for this run already.

Asked for game log, it isn't creating any.
Asked to delete the game install directory manually and install again.
That is now done.
Had also asked to deleted the config Saved except for saves, missed that and that has now been reasked.

And mentioned it seems to be very borked OS.

And only then starts to load the actual project specific things, plugins, datafiles etc.

If it was some other library the game pulled, it would be listed on that instead.
