If we ditch Epic, if we reiterate the entire backend from the ground up to allow for crossplay between PC and console, and that's an if, not a when, if that happens, that would be at a state where we, as devs, and maybe even you as a community, if you would ever reach a state, which I don't think you would,

feel that we are done pushing out sheer planned content, both free updates and whatever other forms of updates we may or may not push in the future.

When we have exhausted all of our gas in like, yeah, the game is, for all intents and purposes, finished in terms of content.

Now we only have polish, only have only feature requests.

That's the point where we would start looking at fixing the- fixing

rebuilding the backend, and by that, by extension, maybe allow for PC and console crossplay.

And that is why you should not expect PC crossplay with consoles for 2026, or 2027, or 2028, or 2029.

It will not happen anytime soon.

There is some unfixed bugs in the belt logic that wasnt fixed, because are limited in length, but once you go above that, errors in spline data, etc start to show up, likely not priority to fix either as those bugs dont show up in normal belt lengths

Yes I do. A bus in automation games is when you have centralised place (usually belts) for your items, you split them from the bus to machines and merge back products onto a bus

It's quite common in Factorio, but pretty bad in Satisfactory (for belts, I cannot imagine making ot for pipes)

You unlock the gas mask + regular filters pretty early on, which protects you against the poisonous gas from fart rocks and some enemies

And then later the hazmat suit + iodine filters gives you protection against radiation

You can have both equipped at the same time, but they serve different purposes -- if you just have the hazmat suit but not gas mask, the poison gas will still hurt you

Some performance choppiness but the real problem arrives when alt tabbing, which causes a huge performance tank that persists until the game is relaunched, no amount of settings tweaking has solved this issue.

I describe how to set it up using a Mk 3 Blueprinter but it can fit on a mk2 or two blueprints. But the ratios are nice and scales well regardless of the oil node you use as long as you max OC the oil
