You'll need the Crystals for other production, too. If you only use the one recipe which requires DMR and nothing else, you'll end up with a DMC shortfall and will probably need to supplement your DMR with SAM

It's a convenient recipe since you need nothing else but it's got the "worst" DMR->DMC ratio of the three

In the end, the loops aren't too difficult; you'll figure it out as you plan your factories. :)

But yeah, sinking Crystals is the usual way of managing any overrun you might have

It won't ever tell you how many of the end product you need to make (ficsonium fuel rods in this case). You'll determine that yourself and work backwards to how much waste you need per step.
So, set production target for fics rods and give plut waste as an input (you can have this be a high number like 1000). It will show you in the flowchart how many are needed for your target fics rods. Do the same exercise for uranium -> plutonium and you're set

You have to automate every item you can see

The concept of a "base" in this game is somewhat misconstrued... You have the HUB, but typically you won't spend much time there. I personally just have a small production line to process slugs, creature remains, and trash.

You technically don't need anything besides the HUB but there are some nice things to have; it really just comes down to your play style. I do plan to make a sweet cosmetic base eventually

different design purpose. slack is meant to be self hosted by the business to certain degrees. takes the onus off of slack for moderation and all that. it's also about the company being able to know/track who is using their slack as a lot of the time confidential information is being shared.

It's actually more efficient to make HOR from oil and then convert to fuel, you get more fuel per oil

Converting HOR to Fuel is super efficient for power generation, and there are alt recipes that let you make extra plastic and rubber from it

If you have that, that's a good thing to do. If you don't, the fuel+polymer and then residual oil/plastic recipes are pretty solid

Hello I have a question about blueprints was wondering if anyone could help. Im exploring someones world save and blueprints that were posted on Reddit. I got all their blueprints imported and I'm able to open them in their world in a Blueprint designer, however they are not organized properly. They all just ended up in the first "Undefined" folder. Is there a way to fix this so they are sorted properly as the original pioneer intended?

Oh! ... Well, no real "efficiency" with running power. However, it can be "organized" with power switches and Priority power switches. Also, one "clean" way of running power between factories is with trains. As power can be transfered via rails/stations.

Otherwise, it's just aesthetics 🤷‍♂️

The polymer rubber feeds recycled plastic production. The produced plastic goes through a loop to feed the recycled rubber production, etc.
