Hi folks, I need to set up a Rocket Fuel production facility. The recipe I want to use requires Fuel, Nitrogen, Coal, and Sulfur. I looked at Satisfactory Calculator and Satisfactory Tools, but neither has an up to date map showing Nitrogen sources. Does anyone have a suggestion for where to best locate a Rocket Fuel production facility?

its pretty litteral, you messed up placing a signals and somehow there is a path from a signal to another that loops back
try replacing your signals or ensuring there is a block between them

Build on foundations. Donāt worry too much about your early factories, consider them temporary until you get to coal power
Eventually you will need to spread out and build all over the map rather than trying to continue to centralize. The game encourages and rewards you for exploring

Your screenshot is fine from a quick, and very tired glance, its a recurring problem I think everyone is experiencing with trains at the moment, whatever they did in 1.1 fucked how rails interact and segment themselves with blocks and paths
might be a mod?
However, if you look at the second screenshot with the colors of segmented tracks, you can see that the intersectional colour of orange extends past the intersection, causing the glitch

I have a question, is there any reason not to make biofuel out of Mycelia?
I build my rail network and stations elevated, personally. The stations are so big it would be hard to place them on the ground
I use concrete pylon blueprints to make them semi realistic
I have been looking at some guides to get back into it and they all mention making it from leaves and wood but not Mycelia and I wanted to check if there was a reason for this

You can use mycelia to make fabric (but you canāt use leaves or wood for that)

once youāve built a parachute and a good stockpile of gas mask filters, I would say you donāt have any other need for mycelia. And you can automate fabric later

for me I use trains to move parts between different factories because I've adopted the play style of having multiple satellites factories for different products, and it's gotten to the point where long belts are no longer feasible or nice looking lol

You could also use the compacted coal in coal gens, but given the amount of rocket fuel Iād say you wouldnāt need that tiny bit of power

I use hypertube cannons a lot, since there are junctions now I thought I'd have a go at making a compact one, but tight turns seem to slow me down, doing 20+ laps of my accellerator seems to launch me at at slower speed than a normal 10 entrance cannon. How are people getting around that?

My save is officially at the same place my previous 1.0 save was minus seven hours. So I've gotten slightly better at the game. And TBH if I didn't stand around so much I'd probably be even further ahead. I do need to automate some of the lategame parts, but I have things in place to do it so it shouldn't be too hard.

there's two main thinks pipe are used for - hmf's and motors. for motors, the iron pipe recipe is awesome, for hmf's, you really need a lot of pipe and making it from steel is more efficient

so you want the very power hungry buildings... but don't want them to be cheaper for power?
I started my second save with all the mam, alt recipies and hud tiers unlocked. I mean after going through all that at a snails pace once, I don't see a lot of fun in doing it over and over. You do still need to bootstrap you're way back to where you were on your initial playthrough though. Biofuel then coal, then building a small construction materials factory, then up to frames and motors to start building bigger things. So you still need to pay some dues unless you go full on no-cost and no-power.
i wanted to start the game with max belts and max miners, thats it. basically that would make it so you no longer have a need to expand a factory once you build it, hence letting me focus on architecture, which is something i rarely do because of the expanding nature of the game
but i still would want a "proper" game, including power generation
IMHO I would get a world with a decent power generation (1GW) and everything unlocked, then just copy the save whenever I want to start "new"
You still want all the alt recipies going that route or you'll likely be rebuilding factories anyway (Unless doing a specific pure recipie run)
I don't mind generating the power, I'd be fine with no wiring, all wifi power
i dont see much differences without the alt recipes cheat because i most definitely always just savescum recipes
if you are focused on architecture, just do creative mode at that point...

I personally find find creating perfectly effecitent factories VERY satisfactory. I let go of trying to beauty build in this game and it makes it a lot easier

The reward is the result. Use cosmetic items for a cosmetic result 
Of course, the appeal of that is up to one's own tastes, but that (and factory preferences) is where you can see people achieve extremely different results

There is something a little weird about the doggos, they do seem to completely disappear for a time then come back. In the northern coral area I tamed 6 doggos and I never see more than one or maybe two on rare occasions. I dunno.
I always put mine in a box after capturing I am too destructive for the little buddy

So I just had a thought to a sport in the game: Conveyor Long Jump. Place down a stretch of Mk.6 conveyor and end it in a Merger. Then you get on the conveyor and time your jump over the Merger, and see how far you get. No running, no crouch jumping.

Personally I think I builkt my first megafactory at around 1000 machines. But it's just my personal gut feeling.

Heh well I can't even merge al the machines any way as that would be 2880 items / min. But any combo of merging and splitting is just all weird numbers that don't split evenly at all (And this is a fluid, not a belt (of course it is))

One thing I've always found curious is the "Sulfur is a rare resource" mentality.
Because yes, by volume it is one of the less common resources, but by use case... What do you actually do exclusively with Sulfur? Power, Weapons and Batteries. (which are a meme now unless you really like the Super State Computer alt)
So spend your sulfur on compacted steel, on leeched caterium, on instant bauxite, you'll run out of usable amounts of other ingredients in power before you run out of sulfur.

the "problem" of sulfur usage is people spamming turbofuel (or any TF-based fuel) instead of going nuclear
which obviously means they will have low amounts of available sulfur (but by their own choice)
Well if ur like me and hate aluminum, you use it for instant scrap.
TF/RF sulfur usage is pretty low, the limitation is more likely nitrogen. I built a 192 GW RF plant and it only uses a single Mk3 (boosted) pure sulphur node.
It did utilize 100% of a nitrogen field though.

Hey I have a question, if you're still using biomass burners for your power grid, would it be a good idea to use that power grid of biomass burners to power your biomass automation, that fuels your biomass burner power grid?

The fact that I put real effort into this playthrough and didn't try to handcraft everything is wild. I've never once had frames or heavy modular frames at the point I had excess stacks to get rid of like this.
Well you still have to go collect the wood and leaves, but after that you just throw the wood and leaves into separate storage containers, which are fed into constructors to make biomass, then into more constructors to make solid biofuel, which then gets fed into 45 biomass burners to be 100% efficient.
There's someone in here who has every part of that process slooped for some reason.
But if you're not doing like me, and stockpiling millions upon millions of liquid biofuel, you're doing it wrong.
My way is the only way
By the time you unlock liquid biofuel I think you have coal and fuel
i'm stockpiling on nukes, therefore I will have no problems taking your biofuel stockpile when the time comes

That is irrelevant. Stockpile ALL the fuel.
I can't even get liquid biofuel, just the solid stuff. Which makes sense, cause I haven't even built the space elevator yet.

Well, "best" is subjective, but it lasts the longest
It burns slower so you get more distance. You just don't ascend as rapidly as you would with other fuels.
I briefly toyed with swapping fuel midair. I do not suggest this.
