At specific point causing marginal system to actually cause instability needs very specific load patterns.
All games present different loads. Satisfactory will expose issues where others may not
And like I said, UE5 games in general, and Satisfactory 1.0/1.1 in particular cause load patterns that nothing else seems to commonly cause.

UE5 has issues in general, so do think its because of that, but I would point this towards being purely a engine issue only, but this is epic and they can't seem to get their engines right
But there is a reason why Intel had to extend their 13th and 14th gen warranties by 2 years.
Where UE5 games have been the thing most commonly triggering the issues.
Honestly I'm not surprised, alot of problems seem to be going under the hood with UE5 in general

No, the "issue" is that UE5 generates load patterns that are uncommon, causing those marginally stable systems hit actual instability reliably.
From CPU ramping cores up and down constantly.
And RAM access patterns hitting some latency that isn't often used normally.
Still HW issue.
Who knows, you can throw as many theories at this point I suppose, not that it will fix the crashes at this point, but thankfully I figured out mostly what features can cause crashes, so I can for now avoid them

for this clevo, idk they make their own so you would have to ask them where they source them from, i suspect like most of what they do its probably made by them
We never finished the diagnosis, as you never created thread IIRC, I just gave snippets of the first basic steps.
I think that's the recommended location for a pump. As the one beneath it won't push up that far. Or rather past that. The other pipe is horizontal so the pump goes further

There are no current "GPU crash dump triggered" bugs in the game that cannot be fixed on user side by either driver reinstall stuff, or stabilizing the actual HW, except for Nvidia 5000-series, which has no stable drivers from Nvidia.

for the 4090m they didn't cut the die down, its a full version of it, only big difference is power limited, but thats normal for mobile

In this case, probably yes.
On desktop platforms, it often was from MB maker by default undervolting, which then helped against permanent damage.
But Clevo probably didn't do that, which then accelerated the permanent damage.

Three things Intel fucked up (first by not limiting what MB makers were doing like AMD is):
MBs undervolting CPUs by default (straight up unstable CPUs without damage at stock).
eTVB activating when it shouldn't have (damage).
CPU making too high VID requests (damage).
Where that first helped prevent the two other points causing as much permanent damage.
I had the ai overclock on my old 9th gen fail spectacularly when playing satisfactory, The stupid thing set the voltage to 0.997v while clocked at 5.1ghz, cue repeated bsods! 🥶
While fixing that fail, there was more than a few instances of Блять!
Satis, like any resource hungry game can truly expose system instabilities.
I ran my kaby lake hot and spicy until a few years in I lost stability over 5ghz. 9900k was rock solid. I still have my 10900k which I still love. It is what runs my server

The nova lake leaks have me excited. If they're competitive I'm back on Intel. 36 pcie lanes on consumer, non enterprise or HEDT. for me is huge. Threadripper costs too dam much and Intel has no HEDT equivalent.
With the way I build in game, it might be worth me building something faster, my saves tend to bring computers to their knees.

Concrete can be an explorers best friend, coupled with a rebar, you can chuck down a small combat shack and shoot through the wall holes with impunity.

I do it the other way round, instead of building round yourself, build around the enemies. Then you can choose whether to kill or ignore
I use a blueprint, one click combat murder hole and take on multiple enemies in complete safety.

You really need RAM overclocking for satisfactory performance with big worlds. There's +30-100% scaling from vcache, but it's very easy to spill over it into RAM regions and OC affects performance a lot.
My nuclear plant world averages 20GB/s of memory throughput on zen5 x3d just standing there, and its CPU FPS is still in the hundreds before framegen.
I've been rolling with 64gb machines since 2017.

XMP/EXPO gives less than half of OC gains, a ton of people use it because it's quick and easy though. Just gotta keep in mind, it's still overclocking and has the same stability concerns / validation needs

Thats what people forget, you're overclocking another part of the cpu doing it.
You can go tiny refinery and open water just for construction aluminium, it just has to work, not be huge, 2 refineries with clocks and say wet concrete for wastewater.
For memes you can also employ the bauxite centipede

and eventually like 10m3/min of water is left over and you can wet concrete it 😛

Once you get to mid-late game conveyer belts start taking thinkings like steel beams and encased industrial beams
using max belts everywhere leads to faster saturation of machines, using slower belts means it spreads between machines more

For a general fatal crash where the game thread waits 120 seconds for the render thread and then crashes because that isnt meant to happen, not really, unless its more specific, that can tell you a little more
I got two belt poles that are perfectly alligned, just not on the same height, but when I place the belt with strait parameter, it curse slightly to the left... Default do a perfect strait line. Is it a know bug ?
I have found straight mode behaving oddly since 1.1, switch to default for straight runs or very tight turns.

Having more then one kind of item on a belt is called "sushi," and yes, you can do it. You need Smart Splitters to be able to process a sushi belt effectively, though
If you want to save space or make a clearer long distance route or whatever, then go for it, as long as it doesn't fill the belt capacity. But there's not usually that many good reasons to.
Right, with sushi you need to make sure that the main sushi belt never backs up, using the Overflow output on a smart splitter
You basically use sushi for the longer-range transport and then SSes to sort once the material is at its destination

a bus is when you have stacked belts within a factory, you split resources from them to nearby machines and merge back products

Four can fit in a BP and with autoconnect mode you can slam them together pretty quick now. My fuel gen BP saved hundreds of hours of placing time and that was even w/o autoconnect mode.

In my build for petrol or something like that I tend to avoid alternate recipe, unless very helpful.
Most helpful alternate recipe that I have are: Heavy Turbo Fuel and Screw Cast.

I use 1 or 2m for floors within buildings and 4m for foundations and walls
gives more space for machines on each floor
These factories are setup so that ever new phase I just add another floor and it works out.
I have some dreams of building actual factories in the game but I am terrible at doing so.
last playthrough i used 4m for all foundations and then i had way too thick ceilings. now im using 1m and my bottom foundations are way too low

I was so determined to make a save where I didn't have conveyors going all over, and here I am with like 1000m of conveyor from a coal node to some generators. I also just realised instead of goofing around and weaving two separate lines of coal I could have used stackables.

My favourite thing I did this save is a 3 foundation by 3 foundation factory that only makes modular frames and is 3 floors.
Because most saves I end up hand-crafting almost all of them.

Yeah, hoverpack is more of a building aid than an exploration aid. Though dragging power behind you can be handy, and enemy mobs typically don't deal well with a permanently-hovering pioneer. :)

How did you all do steel production? I was looking at a video for different layouts to make ingots,beams and pipes but they required 270/min of ore which i think means mk2 miners and mk3 belts which require alot of steel in themselves? (need steel to make steel?!)
if you need 270/min ore, that doesn't mean you need it on one belt
(also I'd heavily recommend to make your own layouts rather than copying other people's layouts)

after the game crashed I restarted it and it still crashed
I tried deleting it from my Steam library and completely reinstalling it and it crashed again

If you pull from a mk1 pole or outlet, then yeah, mk1 is default. If you pull from a mk2/3 pole, it will default to which ever is pulled respectively.
If you're on phase 2, you can access steel in Tier 3, so you just need to find some sulfur and coal, then you can make all the bombs you want
@viral tendon You know about the middle mouse (?) select on buildables to grab a buildable into your cursor right? Also you can cycle between different tiers of a buildable by pressing "e".

the only way to find more somersloops is to find the somersloops that are blocked by poison and rocks, otherwise there is nothing more that you can do
it's either go unlock bombs or keep doing what you are doing

Because in answer to your other question, it was suggested/ you were informed that you will need bombs. As for the gas mask, you have to unlock it yourself in the MAM.

I always thought that Heavy Mod Frames were a little bit too complicated a building mechanism for what they are. I.e. they REALLY didn't need to be a fully packed manufacturer at the level if Item they are. But that's just my feeling. Same with the Radio Control units. They take a TON of resources and are slower to make that I feel is necessary.
Well just overclock the shit out of them and do your thing, make sure they're normal and not impure

WIth nearly all max settings and framegen I sat at 144 capped for nearly all my 800 hours of game play. Now that I've really maxed out things in world it's dropped some and gotten variable between 80 and 120

The drops to 80 SEEM to be it loading in content as I move around and it does some live optimisation or something and generally goes back up to 120 when I stop moving around the map and concentrate on building in one location

They will shut down if a biproduct is filled, but that does not lock your progress in the game it is just something you have to deal with

The big power towers don’t smack you off so are good for long distance travel, you just keep going forward non stop till the end unless you jump off
most of the processes that produce byproduct water also need water in larger quantity, so you just use it in the same factory

You only 'progress' through the game by completeing MAM research, Completeing the Milestones, and completeing the Space elevator parts. As for trying to stay near a "main base", the game is designed for you to spreadt out and build usually more near to the nodes of resources for what you are trying to make. While you "can" very well go through the work of bringing all your resources to one location, It can cause other issues (especially with fluids) that could need troubleshooting.
