This here...they should look into the reason why the usage rates are that high, and not just keep recapping them. What use will it be if you keep releasing new characters that are just new victims of an already existing meta SonicDerp

They game's main thing is variety,it should do it's best to achieve it. Of course perfect balancing is near impossible, and it'd drain some of the flavor. But at the same time it shouldn't reach a point where you can't use your favorite character because you're bound to lose (especially against that nuisance by the name movie super shadow). Characters like the dragons are one of the few who aged well, their kits aren't too overwhelming either, that's what we need, powerful characters and not creations that are spoonfed (Cowboys specifically)

Anyways, like everyone still feels the same - and tbh there seems to have been SOME fixes to the problem:

  • Ring upgrades
  • New characters have had decent level paths that aren't broken at level 20... kinda

But still... we haven't had character fixes, for old characters. Or anything to for older characters to be smoother in Level 20 transition. Cards seem to be an issue and some Challengers (Infinite and Mephiles) seem to be somewhat chaos with upgrades lol.
I feel like a huge problem solver (for most of this) is balance patch.

The Card problem has been sorta solved for new specials, but it sacrifices rings rn.

Overclocked metal was scrapped runners content that got added to speed sim early last year. Overclocked NEO metal is fan made tho (also wow half minute slow down is wild)

Bro can we just revert level cap back what was the point of this, o I know to squeeze money out of more people to make f2p players succumb to spending money why grind cards every 3 hours if you can just buy 3k rsr to skip the time limit especially character that only have 1 day. And they just to seem to only care about challengers they give them the unique abilities but special barely get anything good like look at my goat reindeer knuckles I like him but what is good about him compared to doom shadow. I just hope the reason the rouge event was removed to do a rebalance but it prob to squeeze more money out of people.

To be honest they might as well close this. Not much actual feedback was really given during this forums existence other than asking for the feature to be removed outright and whining about p2w Vecdoh

Only like, 10-20% of the forum gave actual ideas to fix the system rather than wanting removed entirely (that might be generous)

I don't think they listened to a single productive suggestion in this thread. I think they already planned to increase the chests with the tier update, and none of the feedback has even been looked at.

i dont keep up with the game anymore (crossworlds has honestly completely taken me over) but i think some of my suggestions were half implemented, fwiw

you get rings from battle chests now and i think the victory chest payouts were increased all throughout
does it still make me want to play the game, absolutely not, i have been beyond demotivated ever since this change, same thing that happened to me with sonic dash a few years back
