I think the movies character is not the issue but mainly the Lego characters and the angry bird characters. As angry birds is EXTREMELY or won’t appear again in the future and same as LEGO. But the movie characters will have recaps such as we had a sonic 3 movie recap earlier this year.. (think it was in the beginning of April)

I think they should just add missions such as:

• play special characters
• play super rare characters
• play specific common, rare and super rare characters

And etc…. As the whole point of the progression challenges is to be accessible for everyone, so adding movie and LEGO characters may be a problem as this is meant to be a universal mission and shouldn’t be locked because of a character u don’t have. And the fact that THEY NEED to add more progression challenges.

Love the feature but it haven’t been touched for a very long time and HL need to sort something out in the future. They just added this feature and just leave it collecting dust…🗑️

• player banner: HL? This is defo been cancelled. But having to unlocked them via event or playing as a certain character (getting Excalibur banner, u have to play 150 times to play as him) to get them or having to pay them for RSR.

• **special characters upgrade system:**why does challengers cost less than the special characters (this is why people like MSSH and Valhalla cost it’s cheap to upgrade them than special characters) it just convince players to play broken/meta characters and allowing hackers to boost themself in the leaderboards. And tho yes I understand, making them cheaper could led to an unbalanced system but yet again, having metal sonic (super rare) as a top character in the game with low cost of rings to upgrade him just doesn’t make sense. We should convince players to characters that they like and not because they are cheaper to upgrade making them weak to play as some special characters are awful to play as (e.g super-form characters) nor because they’re broken/meta

• gift codes: that’s kinda been useless now. Since we only have one gift code as an apology for the super shadow store glitch, I think they should they post on social media (e.g instagram, twitter/x) of linter gift codes of rings, RSR, character cards on special occasions or special events/days. This could be things like: celebrating some sort of success of Sega with 2 million downloads of a game, earning a certain game award per say. Or like celebrating earth day 🌲 and getting cards for spring cream for example (limited time btw) or having a welcome gift code for newcomers with a few rings and rsr to give them a lil welcome bonus.

Well, his miniboost actually gives less distance. The real problem is inv on the boost. And also him hitting you for free with his miniboost. I’ve outrun neo’s directly with dark blast, you just get the distance over a longer period of time, so you can get screwed. The exact distance you need is specific, cause any more than that, and he can just boost into you.

My guess is that you just have to play the game (for it to count) or log in at least once for seven consecutive days in a row. If you break that chain, I think it won’t count and you’ll have to start over again.

I'd like to talk about my personal experience so far with this game. I am not a serious player. I only started playing this game because I'm in the middle of a whole Sonic the Hedgehog thing, and when you're hit with that sort of mood, you'll want to play a lot of sonic games, comics and watch tv shows and movies.

This was a more racey type sonic dash. The kits are amazing, and even the different costumes are fun. As a furry, I like all the characters, and I want to play them all. I can play this game casually, and not seriously, for about a few minutes, in between classes or just chilling at home. I am not in it for the long haul, not really.

That doesn't mean I don't like this game. In fact, I love this concept, so much so that I'd like to learn it. However, with how fast the attacks pop up immediately in front of you, with how many traps and projectiles you can stack with item boxes, the designs of levels making it difficult to see where and when they are coming, and the arrows and warning sign, I think, not doing enough to warn the player of an upcoming attack, I think it's more difficult than it needs to be to play it on such a casual basis.

This sort of mood can vanish all of a sudden, and if this game's unnecessary difficulty isn't balanced out soon, I might not play it once I feel like moving on to something else. It's not that I don't love this game, in fact, I think it's grand, I just don't think I'm going to be staying if my interest starts to sway.

If I can learn Rocket League, I can learn this game. I feel like it's unapproachable and too steep a difficulty curve.

I had a new mission idea in the screenshots channel, but since that's going to get buried and lost, I'm going to share it here since it's relevant to the topic of this thread.

New mission idea:
Power Hungry
Place 1st in (X amount of races) as (X character).
The rewards will be red star rings and power cards.

The amount of races required and rewards earned would vary randomly like the missions already do. It would be a more difficult star runner but with better rewards. Seeing as it is place 1st, the maximum amount of races to complete would be capped at 20 or 25 at the highest.
This idea makes power cards more accessible to all players. The rarity of the power cards is determined by the difficulty of the mission.
I would start brainstorming numbers, but I don't know how many mission variations there are.

Semi-related I guess: You guys need to give Mephiles his guaranteed X3 Stalking Shades back. Even on release he wasn’t good, and I have no idea how people thought otherwise. Even at Lv20, he’s still a complete joke because your means of suppressing fire are not only bad in general, but are ALSO up to the whims of RNG.

Shades are a joke in general because the attack is literally just a worse version of lightning, so why kneecap him???

If your absolutely set on not giving him his X3 back, then AT LEAST make it so Shades don’t give invincibility frames. In most matchups you can actually use an enemy Mephiles’ attacks to give I-frames to push through other more threatening attacks. That’s not a rare occurrence btw, if you get in first, Mephiles will obviously be throwing everything at you (to little effect), so you pretty much have a semi-guaranteed shield on standby with the only cost being the tiniest bit of knockback and losing an item of your choice.

In summary: Mephiles is a joke. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I have a few ideas for improving the game.

Increase the number of cards: I suggest increasing the drop rate of cards to 150-200 per drop, instead of the current 5-45.
Increase the quantity of gold and red rings: Please increase the number of gold and red rings in the game! Specifically, increase the amount of gold rings in absolutely every chest so that instead of 1700 rings, players receive 10,000 rings. Also, make quests with red rings appear more frequently.
Reduce character upgrade costs: Please lower and decrease the prices for character upgrades, as everything is too expensive. In my opinion, this is a huge imbalance in the game and its biggest drawback.

Reason: at high levels this mission progressively becomes more and more unrealistic. Just now it took me a WHOLE HOUR to complete. This is not okay for health reasons.

Side note: There is no objective reason why the Challenger shouldn’t appear in 100% of matches during the event. But since that’s how it is, they should at least have a 100% chance of appearing when this mission is active.
