If it's just rings or red rings as the reward then it shouldn't do that. Just add to the total like how it does when you get rings from the reward grid.

I think the big gold chest goal from completing said progression missions has cards regardless. So no, I'm not talking about that one in particular.

I think they can keep Progression Missions going indefinitely if they made an algorithm that scales with the current level. Otherwise it is a good system that gets players to well..., play more for the consistently bigger and nicer rewards.

One mission I'd like to see removed personally is Let's Be Frugal About This.

Having to play multiple matches where you purposefully avoid Rings or take damage to lower your Ring amount at the end of a race is incredibly tedious, and it's always 6+ missions, never just 1-3.

The mission literally says ‘variety is the spice of life’. I like how they incentivize me to play as characters I wouldn’t normally, so I can find new strategies I might’ve ignored. they aren’t forced onto you. You can totally just swap it out or if you really want the reward do only a couple runs with her per day.

The red rings aren’t a necessity if you spend them correctly. I maintain a steady balance of 1000 rsr while leveling up special event characters to level 6, 7, or 8 and challengers to level 10, 11, or 12. They are just a bonus

It depends how you see them too. If you see them as the only way to get rsr (which isn’t true) then you might get stung more by the star runners. I see them as nice little bonuses that give me a reason to lose some trophies to learn a new character
