Find a good photo, clean up image (if needed such as removing distractions and extending the background etc..), copy image and cutout subject (the hardest part, hair is a nightmare sometimes) I then sandwhich my text in between the two images which gives the overlay effect. The bottom elements are all just vectors or png's of the logo's etc.. with some blending options such as gradients, strokes, drop shadows and bevel and emboss. My special secret weapon is a plugin I use to create glows and lens flares. This effect in that poster is applied to the main text and the logo group at the bottom. Then the finishing touch is a camera raw filter where I play around with the colours, lighting, add grain and sharpen everything up to bring it all together. aryujinsecret
