Looking good!
thankee kindly. Think i got a good grasp on colors now and i feel like not blending suits my style better
Here's some critique on top of the praise. Just tried to apply more construction.
Oooooh thanks again. Iāll review this now
Wow the Colors look so much more yellow tinted from your screen
I thiiiinnnk I may have worked in your tips⦠touching up now
It's possible I took a screenshot rather than export a file so maybe that messed with the colours a bit.
Funny enough I tried lifting the hair further from the skull this time since I was trying to go for a hair knot instead of the usual bands for this character but looking at my lines I definitely did not do that
Tweaked other bits as well. It looks better already to me
Nice. You nailed the "What?" expression.
Working on a character sheet. Character name is Boun
Nice. I like the colours.
Getting the hang of it
Still working on this character. Can you guess her ācareerā?
Librarian?
Ya it's looking good. heels are hell to draw, I think you just have to watch out for the perspective.
Reviving old characters from the same universe
Oh cool! What did you make it in? Congrats!
Game maker studio
Workshopping
What software you using?
For my doodles im using Procreate
For my sprites im using aseprite
And im using game maker for the engine
Noice. I've never used Procreate but I've messed around with Aesprite a bit.
How easy is GameMaker to use?
Itās pretty simple. They have a full playlist of tutorials on YouTube for getting started
Iām using the visual graphic language right now to get a grip on what does what but Iām gonna have to switch to the standard code language to fine tune it all
It only took me a half hour to make an asteroids clone with it though
Itās the engine that was used to make Undertale and Pizza tower so itās pretty competent
Is there coding involved?
Oh yes there is of course.
The engine uses a visual language or a standard coding language for the interface
The visual uses these sort of pre packaged lines as drag and drop symbols with values to adjust
Then thereās the standard code
ah so, like a node system or just code. What language?
That I donāt know. Itās called GML code in the engine

My battery died. Progress for today's concepts
Will this be for your game?
Ok one turnaround complete. Gotta add more notes and the second set then tbis sheet is done
Close, though I may make another version of this look down the line. Feels a bit complex but maybe im just not used to it
Is it a sprite sheet?
No no no not yet
Im making a reference turnaround FOR the spritesheet ill be making
Alright now for finer details
