#Make lockpicks attachable to the hip, but that'd lock you out of using your lantern

Lockpicks are already underpowered as it is and that would make them an interesting option to potentially use over your lantern if you could save inventory space that way

why? whats the banefit of that

lanterns still stay in your inventory when you hip them

You could choose whether or not you want your lantern to be permanently active (it always stays in your inventory) or you can just "equip" your lockpicks and save your inventory slots, but you're locked out of your lantern in return

You could basically make a choice between easy light source or easier inventory management, but you're playing in darkness

ah yes, picking locks by thrusting your hip into it, how convenient

Could just have a tool belt that has a spot for a lantern, lockpicks, crowbar, as well as a single money pouch. There is no reason a lockpick takes as much spaces as a full plate of meal. But the slots in the belt would be restricted to only those items, hence making it not too op.

Also a lockpick and a crowbar slot? optimistic

piggy yes because we have toolbelts and not some normal belts

#

And if you want toolbelts well we already have the thief backpack

waste of space logically having a backpack for only a couple of crowbars and such. you could fit like 16 crowbars

Like yeah you could have 10 crowbars, the thief backpack lets you have 2 crowbars and 3 lockpicks without wasting space

point is, a backpack could realistically fit way more than that, while a belt to store em would be more practical, you couldnt carry tens of loose items on a belt, but a crowbar and some lockpicks you could

I am pretty sure you are either reading wrong or not understanding what I mean. Doesn't matter, forget about it.
