#Why no Dungeon Enemys in the open World??

Undead and proselytes are near special places.
Why mot scatter them more around? They should have lairs of thier own, like the bandits.
Because both undead and cultists don't wander on their own, they're drawn to respective places of power such as crypts and abbeys. Having them all around the map as regular encounters will triviliaze them as enemy factions, and they need to be something you can meet only in designated places.
the piles of human sacrifices magically make their way into the catacombs
Undead don't go to cemeteries. They get made in cemeteries. And human sacrifices don't get produced in catacombs. They get sent there... probably kidnapped then transported there. Devs can implement random events in the future where we might be able to rescue certain NPCs from ending up in catacombs, or disrupt corpse deliveries to cemeteries, who knows...
That are just some made up Ingame reasons, that can be concluded in some way.
That it would trivialise them is maybe true, but having a more empty world with less enemy variety is just as bad
Change your game lore so that my brilliant idea starts making sense 😡 😡 😡
that's why orcs and goblins are planned, as well as a random encounter system
but it is true that the world is empty though
which will be worked on later
the logic only really works for crypts though since the indead are risen from within
Most corpses there are either uncorrupted monks who lived in the abbey or pilgrims visiting those abbeys
bruh nobody has common sense
people still makong pilgrimages by the dozens it's pretty commom word theyre getting merked for cultist rituals
cant convince me this many people are willingly walking into these abbeys like that 😭
Proselytes are fairly recent (like, not even a full year has passed) and their existence is not a common knowledge. And the rumors also actively suppressed/downplayed by Hieron
While pilgrimages are one the main tenets of hieronism, so there are plenty of them still travelling around
Vehements are also sent to fight them once in a while so I guess some don't make it out alive
and proselytes also sacrifice their own
their name does suggest they are trying to expand
no clue how their recruitment process works tho
idk there are piles and piles of corpses renewing every time
lots of vehements and pilgrims apparently
Yes, and bastions layouts change every reset subtly hinting at their inherently magical nature
