I hate scrolling up and down the the character menu to see my stats :(. And constantly right clicking on enemies.

Devs said no... IDK how many times at this point

curious what their rationale is - do you have a post of theirs i could read if one exists?

i mean, they have a UI/UX category for posts in this channel, so that must not be totally true

I don't know for all the mods part, but really having a block power bar would be a must. Being able to see dodge/block chance would be a nice to have.

But block power over the health bar, I really don't see why this isn't already in the game.

Also, a second skill bar over the 1st would be great.

I mean just take ui+ and integrate everything. Block power is a little shield with a number and backfire chance is a little book right to the hotbar.

Idk man, the little shield for block power and the book for backfire chance are the least intrussive bits of qol ive ever seen. I don't see a reason to not have them

For a game that relies heavily on statistics, the most logical thing would be to have an interface like UI+. That's all I'll say.

In curious about the reason behind not wanting to have a bit more info like UI+. Have the devs ever given a logical explanation about it?

but if they were to add block bar and whatnot, they would need to redo the whole ui for all resolutions from the ground up, because the way they are done in ui+ is less than satisfactory

#

too much work for something so minor

#

in case you need to see all of this pointless information on your screen at all times - you are free to install mods

pointless for the majority of people but may be useful for those that wish to optimize everything

#

in which case there will always be people like them

#

no matter how many bars and ui elements you add

spiral meadow

IT's more about QoL than optimization

qol for those that want optimization, yes

i think the amount of downloads that the UI mod has from last month to now is a pretty high compared with the peak of player of the last month but this numbers could not be 100% precise but i still think is pretty high

the funny part about this game is that it is hard. also when you fail, it can be very punishing. Those characteristics heavily push players to optimize, or at least care very deeply about their stats. If you don't optimize at all you will be in for a lot of pain

If the developers don't want to improve the interface because it's too much work or they don't want to pay the UI+ creator, that's fine, no problem. But don't tell me the interface shouldn't be touched because it's fine as it is! Sure, tell that to someone else!

it can be better. the existence and widespread popularity of UI+ proves as much. so why settle for less?

pure cypress

i'd argue it's less than 1%. most players wouldn't care either way

fair enough. i wonder if toggle-able elements that are all by default off would make sense as a middle ground?

UI is not fine, I'm tired of hearing that it is. Playing in 1080p resolution and even 1440p artificially limits your vision when you are moving downwards through a dungeon because of the skill bar. This penalty is life or death for most ranged builds because the enemies spot you before you can spot them.

And it's always pain in the ass when you need to drag your camera down to look around after every step
