As of right now nights are not very scary, This maybe should change as IRL wilderness at night is kinda terrifying.
Depending on a moon phase vision distance should change and the darker it gets the scarier creatures should be outside.
Also random rustling from outside vision could set a nice creepy mood sometimes.
It was very easy to get lost during the night, Maybe just maybe map should be disabled then.

i walked forests at night, and for person whos used to it its non issue, also dosnt make sense for the settings,
but real reason it wont be inplementend is i dont think devs really care for it, but moon and start formations could be cool to affect magic

Never tought about it, this is an awesome idea.
It would be cool if every one of the four phases gives a tiny boost on different stats, like hp/energy draining, magic power, etc.
To travel on very dark nights, you need a torch or a candle; it's less risky and doesn't affect your sanity.
