As the title suggests, this adds another prisoner wagon to the caravan. To capture bandits trying to flee the battle, throw them a net. The game will give you the option to capture them, provided you have rope or shackles in your inventory to move them without them escaping. Then, transport them to the caravan and lock them in the prisoner wagon. The next step is to reach any town with a barracks and speak to its captain so he sends a wagon to collect the prisoners; the captain will pay you for each prisoner you bring him: the higher the prisoner's level, the higher the payment. This is how you become a bounty hunter.

Caravan - Prison cart
It'd probably make more sense to deliver the captured to the settlement cell instead. Seems like dead weight for the caravan to me, especially when considering the overall story about Stoneshards Gwynnel.
Also getting payed money seems unlikely to me, no one is gonna bother posting a bounty for random bandits.
Maybe a small token cash amount (50-100crowns) but also a good chunk of reputation would make more sense.
The method would be for gaining reputation more then gold.
The purchase of such a cage cart would be very superflicious in general though for the caravan in my opinion.
It would probably be expensive to get and rarely worth the time to do anyway.
The more likely idea is a sidequest sometime in the future where you are tasked with doing exactly above.
"Brynn tasks you with collecting thieving. murderous filthy low bandit scum, to be execute in front of the puplic as a show of the order upheld by the magistrate.
Yeah, it could work for reputation.
Still, the overall idea of more logistical aspects is interesting.
One thing that could be done is to locate and capture the faction's enemies investigating ruins or other point of interest and delivering them somewhere... it could be considered a covert action so it wouldn't have to have political consequences for the mercenary caravan.
For example, Magistrate scouting party near Eeders was slaughtered to all but one man, and that person was captured by vampires. They can then be deceitfully led to Gray Army outpost instead.
I only proposed a basic idea, but with everyone's help, we can improve it. The cage isn't just for capturing bandits or mission bosses; you can also capture live animals for side missions. I think we can get the most out of this cage.
The prisoner handover can be done in the same way as the delivery of materials to the caravan; I think that's more feasible for the game design, only in this case the cart that appears in the caravan is a cage with soldiers escorting it
it could be intrestsing if you could leave them in diffrend places for diffrend rewards
like those work caps for prisoners near willow taver for money vs Jail for rep, i think it could be also cool to somehow pass them to a friendly gang leader to assimate them, that would maybe give more stock and lower prices at willow towern and secret trader
Handcuffs also yould be useable this way.
interesting concept, dunno how i feel about basically selling live people for rep/gold tho.
You can just get a cage from human dungeons, those have that stuff in abundance
You think what the mancatchers are all about? Besides, we not only can't sell people, we can't even eat meat of bandits we kill, it's a big waste imo
Put up murals in cities with posters like this one
It's already in the game; I always see that cart in the mission to rescue the emissary!
It would be interesting to take advantage of the concept you're discussing!
prisoner transfer missions to the capital
I mean...
Jorgrim carve people's faces out and hands them over to the elder for more money
Another idea:
Maybe while delivering the captured bandit, he could plead with you and try to bribe you with a hidden treasure, away in the wild
It could be a trick though
