#Decline Governor's Cloak for Brynn Rep

Intresting idea
he cannot talk to brynn officials at all and the reason why explained in the troll hunt dialogue, if he brings up troll in brynn, he's gonna get hanged because of the amount of soldiers he lost, that's why it doesn't make a lot of sense for him to give you more brynn rep for anything related to the quest
the roleplay value of declining the cloak is worth implementing this idea for though, even though the mannshire rep doesn't matter at that point of the game
he still has influence in brynn though, right?
he doesn't have to mention the troll at all
yeah, that's what i was thinking. brynn rep makes the most sense because by the time you kill the troll, you're likely already at respect
of course he can't mention the troll. but i think he holds /some/ amount of influence, and could send a letter of recommendation or something
I mean if you're not , the troll quest itself brings you there
how would that look like?
"Hmmm I offered this merc my family relic because I felt like a nice guy, but he politely declined, please offer him better gear next time you see him"
maybe for like 100 rep or so
"this merc has done tremendous work in serving mannshire and its surrounding areas, and i would like to recognize his accomplishments"
which is doubly true because you've also presumably done contracts for them to clean up the dungeons
🤔
