#Crash when importing model

When I attempt to import a model I made in blender the editor crashes as soon as I click yes on the dialog to reload and import it.

i get the same issue

what i found so far is that somehow they dissect the model into a few parts

I mean, I wonder if its some setting that blender uses when exporting DAE files, I could try it in 3ds Max

for me the editor just freezes at Generating AO

and then after a while it unfreezes and the window disappears

The fact that you seem to need to use Maya in order to do any sort of models is dumb

yeah me too, without custom models mapping is heavily limited it's kind of a dealbreaker
