#tracking hunting mode shouldn’t pick up party members

Yeah this would be a nice QoL feature.
It would help QoL, but it would just allow AlT accounts to set up tracking radars throughout a dungeon. So if you want extra protection to be able to track Everyone besides yourself, hunt with only one account logged in or set the ALT account AFK radars to reds only. Otherwise it just another step towards less risk .
Wouldn’t having an alt account set up to track be against the rules? I was under assumption that you could only have one PvP toon logged in playing at any given time, it would make sense at least to me that tracking for players is a PvP action?
I agree. Not sure TBH. An argument could be made the tracking is defensive in purpose. I have to agree though that the one pvp toon logged in at a time is a good shard mechanic and probably how it is in most games with open world pvp.
I agree it’s a great shard mechanic and I’d hate to see it any other way, I didn’t make this suggestion in hopes to provide any side a advantage or vice versa, it’s more defensive yes, because I’ve been attacked and killed by blues so it would be nice to track for blues as well and not just choose reds or blues specifically when farming with friends
or add the Tracking of Karma, so those blues that skirt notoriety are easily spotted with their negative Karma.
Tracking radar is already way overpowered. Don't need folk setting up sonar all around.
Not too hard to press a button
FYI this is what Milamber told me when I asked about multibox PK tracking. He never responded a second time to confirm that my understanding was correct, however.
Should just do away with this horrible tracking hunting mode addition.
Too many times have i seen players putting a hidden tracker in early levels of dungeons to watch for folks
This constant tracking radar going
My interpretation of what Milamber said when I asked about it is that it is against the rules. I wish he had confirmed that for me, but that was how I took his response.
have a ghost cam or ghost tracker for pve or pvp should be bannable. It used to be that way.
Tracking is in a really good place at the moment to help avoid being PK'd and if you want to avoid engaging with reds I would highly advise taking it. However, I will say that I don't like spy cams in any capacity fwiw whether it's for red or blue characters.
what if tracking and stealth was just removed from the game
or if had to be in thieves guild for those skills
and make lvl 3-4 of dungeons be free for all, no murders on kills
would make the lower levels of dungeons more risk based
balzors idea lol
sounds lame
dont like those skills locked behind needing stealing skills
dosent make much since
tracking was fine as it was need to do a movement to use the skill
this non stop radar is over the top
I disagree, the main reason most people didn't take up tracking previously was the need to constantly click it. Moving towards a similar tracking implementation to what UO outlands uses has really helped.
should at least make the auto radar interval like 2 to 5 min between tracking attempts
maybe tracking could just make a more detailed mini map
detailed as in not all just white?
