I prefer the illustration of tunklab. I think it has a far better overview for affixes. In other scenarios lastepochtools is better.

I'm concerned about mana issues on my Beastmaster, it's an Upheaval build, 4 mana per attack, zero mana investment anywhere, and I got like 100%+ attack speed, the cost is low but should I expect to be mana starved in such circumstances?

I think the baseline is 8 mana per second for regeneration without investment. Isn't it?
yeah, 8/sec is base
if you have a lot of attack speed scaling you'll probably run out eventually
but only 100% probably won't be that bad
otherwise you can probably get mana regen on belt without much opportunity cost

Most attacks have a base attack speed of 0.68182. With 100 inc attack speed and a fast nagasa scymitar (1.24) you will have 0.68182 / 1.24 / (1+1.) = 0.274927419 attacktime meaning aroudn 4 attacks per second
I'd assume an upheaval build is more likely to be using something like a staff or 2H or 1H axes

This assumptions is of course lagging some more detailed information and not fully accurate! Be careful but it works at least to get some estimation on your mana consumption
lucerne: 0.68182 / 0.86 / (1+1.) = 0.39640697674 -> 2 to 3 attack per second. one mana regeneration affix, considering you have to move sometimes, should be enough

Ah. I was hoping there's be more than just those three things. It seems a little bit limited for how many other nodes seem to proc off hitting cursed enemies.

That would help, but there should be more in the base class.
I think part of why it feels so off to me is that a large portion of Harvest, including one of its root nodes, is dependent on hitting cursed enemies, which makes it feel like a pretty core mechanic. As it stands, you only have two active ways to apply curse, both of which come after Harvest, and a 3rd, passive option, that's a decent way down a mastery tree. Adding more curses in the third mastery would give more choice, but it still means you're stuck without options for quite a while.
for the most part I think people just use bone curse or chance to apply on hit via reaper form
idk, it's basically only "core" to harvest
and I wouldn't call harvest core to lich or acolyte identity in general
Harvest is presented as their auto attack replacement and, while it does seem to be the only skill that has so many nodes devoted to curses, they still show up in other skills.
I also didn't realize Reaper form could apply Mark for Death; the node doesn't highlight if you search curse, which is less than helpful.

if enemies could inflict crit vulnerability, that would matter. but they cant so far, so 100% is all you need.

- there is no need to beat her the moment you get there she is harder than the first 2 monos
- its a very mechanical fight and has been done almost naked by many people so you can do it in whatever gear if you dodge what you should dodge
- phys res helps a lot to give you more room for errors 🙂

MP is not even in CT phase yet, and old items that got nummericaly changed (idols) have been updated

What does this do in a practical situation
hail of arrows does not hit, so it normally cant inflict ailements
this allows it to inflict bleeds despite not hitting
So if you have 600% chance to bleed, hoa now inflicts 6 bleeds per second, where as without special modifiers, it will never inflict bleeds

Not ignite but there is a fire conversion where all of the damage is fire damage

Guys i don't know if this is the right place to ask, but are the Act 9 idol slot expansions bugged? i completed the quests but i didn't get any expansion
yeah, you're actually quite tanky in death seal
There's a limit to how many expansions you can get.
the maximum idol inventory size is the cross with the middle slot blocked

Is bleed/poison blade flurry bladedancer still viable, and what tier would it be considered
both are good, poison is absolutely, SSS+ busted op tier for dungeon boss farming and low-mid like 100-300 corruption mono farming
bleed is more flexible/well rounded for pushing corruption, but won't delete bosses like poison

Guys, I'm doing a Bleed Warpath Paladin (build planner --> https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/5Q0lZGQb) right now and I have about 170 chance to inflict a bleed.
- How does bleed work in LE?
- How much bleed chance do I need (the more the better?)?
- What's the difference between "chance to Bleed on Hit while at high Health" vs "Chance to Bleed on Hit"?
- Does adding shred to a bleed build make sense as another damage multiplier?
Press G in game and search for bleed
The in game guide is pretty good for info like that
- 53 damage over 4 seconds per stack base.
- more the better, over 100% is an additional stack per hit- ie 250% is 2 stacks per hit with a 50% chance for three.
- Nothing, one is only active which you're over 65% hp, the other is always on. at high hp probably has higher roll range and you'll likely be max hp most of the time.
- Yes, phys resist shred is great for bleed
The biggest tip is you apply 1 stack of an ailment per 100% chance

Also mods like chance to bleed while at high health does not add to your bleed chance in your character sheet because it is conditional
bleed at high hp does actually show on sheet if you're at high hp
I was certain that conditional stats never showed
but stats like "bleed on melee hit" don't show on sheet
weirdly inconsistent

so that 20-25% gets added onto whatever shred you have
if you have -500% from poison stacks it is now 525%, for example
If by chance the target has 100% resist, 10% pen is better than 10% shred
yeah, penetration works before the resist cap, but not super relevant in poisons case
probably not relevant the majority of the time
and most enemies will have 0% resists baseline, so rarely a consideration
does the Soul Barrier node of the Acolyte (gain ward when you drop below half life) also trigger if you already are below half life?

Hi guys, I might be having a brain problem but I'm finding it hard to make a filter do what I want...which is to show relevant bases with relevant affixes. I seem to be able to do one or the other, just NOT both.
I can show you the filter in the relevant image.
What I want is literally to just show relevant bases with 2 good affixes, 3 good affixes, 4 good affixes, and HIDE everything else. I can show relevant bases and I can show that series of affixes but I cant combine them. Where in my filter do I do this?
do I literally need to do "recolor end game ___ if 3 of x affixes" for...everything?
If I understand you correctly, then you can reorder your rules to do what you want. Make the rules show the affixes first, then just hide all the bases you don’t want above that. This way, all the bases you don’t want won’t be shown, even if they have the affixes

if you wanted to do it with showing bases, you'd probably have to hide the affixes you don't want instead? so the way the filter is, it's way easier to show the affixes you do want than to hide the ones you don't

The two don't interact.
Phys Pen is enemy res multiplier and armor shred is independent multiplier ...
If you do not allreday have phys pen the first 5-15% will usually beat als other affixe
But its quite some math to give an exact answer

It shouldn't, since it is supposed to give you ward when you get to low life rather then while at low life, if that makes sense
I haven't seen this effect. But I do have every kind of monster over-the-head bars turned off.
As for your Steam crashes, I can assure you don't need to stop the Steam client and restart. You should find an LE process floating around in Task Manager.

Bosses high health make stun virtually useless against them. At least in the current implementation.

@charred musk while this is true you can use certain skills to guarentee stuns. As VK you have access to both anomaly and Shield bash
@fierce kraken thank you, yea I chose Paladin however, just respec'd out of shield bash to try sigils of hope, it gives a nice boost to my dmg without sacrificing defense too much so far
I was going to submit a bug report on this but I figure I'd ask here for your opinions first.
I have multiple Idols on my character that give "+% Chance to apply Frostbite on hit with Cold skills" . When looking at my Character Sheet > Other tab, it shows Frostbite Chance as 0. Am I misunderstanding what that Idol is supposed to be providing me?

The sheet only shows generic/global stats
So it can only display “chance to apply frostbite on hit” currently, even if you’ve got more specific frostbite sources
But you’re still get that idols effect on your cold skills

I think most people just require more affixes and higher individual/total tiers for the stuff that gets shown

i dont understand the quest to discover remaining branch here
it's not necessary to do anymore, but that quest unlocks a way to get to another one of the monoliths
during one of the quest echoes you would have been given a choice which results in one of the monos being opened up, so "all" you need to do is re-run the quest echoes & choose differently

it has to be random, but if it's not T5 you can chaos it to randomize what it will upgrade into

it's not a full removal though, and most of the time you'll get something not that useful
but it can potentially change a bad affix into a less bad affix
looking it up in the Last Epoch database I guess
Depends whether you're going for an electrify/DoT build or not
There's a rune of removal which removes a specific affix
quick tip about rune of removal
if you find an item that's bad but like you want to yoink some affix shards off of it
you can use runes of removal instead of shattering the entire thing
since runes of removal guarantee you receive shards, while shattering does it all in one go but doesn't guarantee

Uniques or legendary are not that important to create a build in this game... or thats the impresion I have about it
You just need exalted items
Uniques can be very good and legendary potential can make an okay unique very good
A legendary with 3 or 4 LP will often be strictly better than an exalted item because it inherits the exalted mods, plus whatever the unique does
But like in other games, your skill wont change what it does, normally, I mean, the main goal is to get the best exalted items you can, because uniques have fixed afixes if I'm not wrong
Well uniques can add more to your build you can't otherwise gain from regular items. They are very useful.
For instance if you are doing void DoT void knight, you need uniques to get the Doom DoT, it doesn't exist otherwise
Getting even 1 LP on a unique can really make it so much better if it hits a good mod
I was looking for good dagger for the umbral blade rogue, but looks like theres no good unique ones for that purpose

corruption doesn't influence the chances for a unique to have legendary potential
more corruption does increase the number of total uniques you drop which will increase the number of uniques with any amount of lp though
really you should just always be doing the highest corruption your build can anyway

if i combine the blessings for bow drop rate and uniques drop rate, will have better chance for uniques to be bows?
More bows will drop, more uniques will drop -- so, more unique bows will drop, but only because more uniques will drop, not because more bows will drop. I hope that makes sense

Those are generally the class-specific affixes, everything else is fairly common

after leveling a couple character it's been my experience that i basically only ever need more of the class specific shards yeah
for a bit i did show a couple of the common affixes that i used more often in crafting (like health) but eventually i just naturally stockpiled enough
imo I would just only show stuff for current character and next character then some generic stuff
better to just blast content and pick up shards off the ground than to shatter tons and tons of stuff you might eventually use

@dim crater this is the build I'm using, I stacked resists on gear until I had 75% all resists at around lvl 50 ish and was able to defeat all of the campaign content with hammer throw, I use rebuke instead of the void ability though, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa2eTOgEmh0&t=202s&ab_channel=EpochBuilds while leveling I worked on getting % increase throwing damage and % increase throwing speed on as many items as possible, and also rings that have -3 throwing attack mana cost, with two of the rings and the reduce mana nodes in the hammer throw tree my cost was 0 so i could spam it all day. just a suggestion, but you might like it if you like Hammerdin from D2 🙂
you might not find the needed idols/equipment for smite (I didn't until I started end game) but its not needed
its the quest for each monolith area, i think it may mean the lvl 62 zone as opposed to the lvl 66 that i chose

Oh you don't have to go both ways on the monoliths, they will all unlock when you hit empowered
the right branch has blessings that are buffs for you, the left branch has blessings for drops
you definitely do have to go both ways it’s just generally better to do the left side in empowered

In games like this, I tend to love the end game, seasons, and things like that, but I hate having to re-grind the story over and over. I know Diablo 3 has the adventure mode, which lets you, in essence, skip the story and push towards a faster end-game.
Does Last Epoch have something like that, or a similar way to quickly finish the store on your other characters so you can enjoy the endgame? Or is there a recommended speed-leveling way to make the story trivial once you've already completed it?
I'm not saying I dislike the story and don't want to run it, I enjoyed the story very much so, but I'd like to try different builds, classes, etc., without having to re-run the story every time.

and drop tons of things , so you will use a lot of gold to buy more ingame stash,
you can also go into your city treasure store,

When static orb explodes, it makes tendrils which hit a few extra things, it looks kind of like a lightning blast coming from the orb

Something I'd love clarification on. A lot of skills can be cast INDIRECTLY. Say skill 1 causes skill 2 to be cast. Skill 2 can be specced into having X, Y, Z feature that may or may not cost mana. Will these features be present when indirectly casted?

So there's something vague about Smite and Sacrifice (deals x% of health upon cast for more dmg)...If I have something that can automatically proc smite then technically I am not casting it, but it is being casted. So would I lose health? or not get the damage bonus? I could try to mess with this in game but in reading, I'm not so sure

yes. I used tunk labs and calced with 1k hp. Added 10 hp and 2 threshold for 13 ehp. Added 10 threshold and got 15 ehp. So the break even point is about 15% inc hp [(15/13)-1]. Also worth noting threshold is better when you factor in recovery over time.
so basically if you have optimal t5's, then health is better?
(as you can get over 15% just on gear without much dificulty)

t6 and t7 are different relative to added health
so it should be a different % for both
anyway, this was more to disprove the quote from a streamer that endurance threshold at t6/t7 is better than added health at t6/t7
unless your looking at a situation where you dont have hybrid on the gear it should be on, you dont have t5 rolls etc...

yeah if you had a robot playing the game, then going for the best ehp for dots is the best thing to do
but as long as we arent robots, i dont think it ever makes sense to make a relevant loss to your ehp to hits, so dots do less
when cleanse is like, the easiest affix to get
what dots are actually dangerous, most of the time sub like 400 I have not experienced any dot yet that is dangerous, is this like some 500+ type situation

you lose 2 added for 0.12 more attack rate
which is greater than the difference between the faster two handed swords and longsword
i would say its not very obvious that dawn blade is better
also katana exists if your build has a lot of external flat sources
but also the point was stuff not being above 60 which isnt true :p
I also think the devs have commented saying that weapons after a certain point are not supposed to be strict upgrades but rather some builds want some swords more then others etc

if your dps is high enough that stuff dies without problem, you should stop killing stuff
then start again when it starts becoming hard again
well I'm now skipping the 3rd timeline in the 75 (lagon one) because it's kinda pointless
also you shouldnt do all the timlines

like the main reason you havent found an upgrade is that you have your prefixes at t5 each, and you're doing content that rarely drops exalteds
You've only had the dawn blade droppable in the lvl 75 and lvl 80 timelines
so relative to your mono farming, a lot of that has been without the best weapon dropping for you
and you've also been playing in a very unefficient way
been doing what the game throws at me, progressivelly
so just run to the end of echo's, finish them, onto the next, repeat until empowereds unlock
will skip to 85 then
when i really push, i can get to empowereds in a day on a fresh ssf character
and im not the fastest at all
just view everything pre-empowereds as meaningless basically
maybe I should make undisputed axe, seems like it should be better than the rare mace with flat phys and %phys
can you get legendary potential by creation with runes?
Yeah but getting undisputed, much less one with lp, is unlikely
get to the actual end game first
then worry about getting a legendary undisputed :p

What does it mean exactly ? Only in empowered timelines ? Only "Unique or Set amulet" echoes or do "Unique" echoes can drop it too ?
It is just telling where you can find that type of unique node
if you want to target it farm it, you can run Empowered Age of Winter (which spawns unique/set amulet echoes)
And on unempowered one ?
they also spawn in normal, but the item might be too high level for normal?

What would you try to jam into an lp1 undisputed? I have an axe with t7 bleed and literal garbage other mods, and a more well rounded attack speed/phys axe as candidates

yeah, both devotion and invoker's ring could drop in normal, but almost certainly best to farm in empowered anyways

once you get it down, you can pretty easily get new characters from 50 to 80-ish with empowered unlocked in about 6 hours

nope, either use em or vendor em
they vendor for a good bit
I have a stash tab for keys and I just vendor them all when it fills up

I definitely wouldn't avoid nodes based on reward type personally
I see arena nodes as dead ends
anything that isn't exalted or unique/set is basically worthless anyways
eh, an arena node could be the safest node mod-wise or the shortest path to go out for more stability/corruption
At some points you will get many arena keys even without nodes. And you will be happy to do an easy arena reward node in high corruption monoliths at some point. 😄
I don't think you can get arena keys outside the nodes
They are random world drops
