if you are leveling alts. remember that going into each mono zone after end of time gives a HUGE exp boost. click on each portal once. (on alts only).
The normal skip is to go to chapter 5, then temporal sanctum to skip to chapter 9. Dungeon clear will get you 1 idol unlock, and I guess there are a couple quests past that point that give idols too, so you hit max on them despite skipping the ch 6/7/8 idol unlock chances

In LEtools you can only select it from the primordial sealed tab when making an item, since that's the only place it can go

No, the timeline target farm is just a hint about how those monoliths can have echo rewards for uniques of a specific type

Same base type, since different items have different affixes allowed
Random drop uniques are like htat. Since they share the drop pool with a huge pile of other uniques you can sometimes have a real hard time getting it lol
Eye of Reen in particular is a rather rare one, with less than 3% of unique one-handed swords being that weapon

Which is why the actual best strategy is to simply ignore evolving the beast and ending the lineage every time. It gives you the most bones and the most rewards.

So they're worth keeping if they've got 2 or more affixes and you plan to use the unique.

I have to vent somewhere, anyone else can't increase corruption in party play beyond the base of what Shade of Orobyss is giving? i.e. I spend 4 Gazes, and it show it will give around 50 corruption and it only gives the base of what it shows... (i.e. 6 corruption) So frustrating. I'm reporting it in-game but alas no fixes and no validation since day 1. Also not seeing this issue posted anywhere
anyways think keys of memory were also able to be used for normal arena right? dont remember anymore

My mana lich build has a node (and I have gloves) whereby damage is taken over x seconds.
Reaper form allows me to take a pretty big hit and knocked into regular form if it exceeds my reaper hp - This sometimes happens.
My question would be, if something is big enough to one shot me out of reaper form, why does the damage taken over x seconds not kick in and kill me in normal form?
cause its not enough?
also the dmg taken over x seconds also only applies to rares and champions etc
no normal mobs or blue mobs etc
and its also only like 20% of the hit which you then take as dot
that proves the bug even more
so either:
- white/blue mobs are 1 shotting me out of reaper (which is nuts)
- if it's from a rare/champion, and 20% of hit is taken as dot, and 1 shotting me out of reaper, then where is the dot absorb effect that should kill me

Arek's Bones gives Chance to apply Armour Shred on Hit for You and Your Minions.
The frogs do 100% Physical Damage so Shred Armor should be a strong DPS increase?

yeah, anything that specifies you "take less damage" includes damage to ward, things like endurance specifically states "damage to health"

one thing as of why you play cleaver on that second build you posted is possibly for the extra ward retention cause of the relic giving you so much ward

You're free on primodial uniques definitely
slot 1 rampant coast and 1 bloodline glade, and just do some mapping
throw down some lighthouses if you're inpatient
especially with the increased chance for crystal hearts node in the weaver tree
you will make an absurd, like literal absurd amount

actually i discovered something about that node subway, the rampant coast has a 100% crystal heart droprate
so taking that node
actually slows you down by making it tankier
you get no benefit in that context
but it does increase the probability hearts spawn on bloodline glade rift beasts

so even with my absurdly tanky build
it just goes pop

There's currently a bug with scaling enemies to area level that causes them to deal a lot damage than intended, especially when being scaled to a level similar to or lower level than their base level. It also causes them to deal more damage than intended when being scaled to a higher level, but the effect is more muted.
The harbingers' base level is 100, compared to the 1-60 of most regular enemies, so in empowered timelines this bug affects them much more than it does most enemies.
Patch 1.3.1 will include a fix for this bug and is scheduled for later this week.

Charge attacks deal damage durin gthe whole animation, they just only proc it once per target

If you get hit on the first frame, the rest won't deal anything. If you don't get hit first frame, the later parts will hit you instead (if you're in it)
but yeah SOME animations actually get skipped when you fear them
no need to be that hostile - its easy to miss some small details here
my experience with the charge is that they have multiple stages of damage

but ive noticed that mobs sometimes do their basic attack while winding up abiliies
and its invisible lol

It's sprinkled around on various stuff all over the game. It doesn't affect every mob, but the ones it affects do absolutely BONKERS damage

So if you take 1000 damage and have 1000 HP, 200 threshold, 20% endurance. The first 800 hits normally, then you're at 200 with 200 more damage left, which gets reduced by the 20% endurance, leaving you with 40 health left
And that still happens if it's all one big hit
i will say this experience has spurred me to want to make the tankiest necro i can come up with

DoT damage has always been the scarier damage in this game, since it's tuned based on X recovery, but your recovery isn't gonna scale as good as enemy damage usually. (Unless leech, which is why accursed feast is so good)

More accurately, you only get XP as if they were 10 levels higher than you at most. They can be higher and you still get some XP, just not necessarily all of it

Rahyeh has no boss drop shield at all. Thornshell is also a random drop from anything.
Tools will list Black Sun Timeline but not because of the boss, but because that timeline can have echoes reward a random drop unique or set shield
K real talk about LE and I mean this with the utmost respect to the Devs. The damage scaling in this game is horrendous. You jump into empowered monos and even with max resist and 100% crit avoidance you get random one shots from mobs all the time. It's absolutely deflating as a player and makes you feel like your a bad player, maybe I am bad. I'm trying to have fun and this keeps happening and it just makes me want to quit. I've tried to be patient and it's so frustrating. For the average player and not the hardcore LE fan or grinder has anyone else felt like this from these overtuned Champion mobs? I hope they do something to balance or fix this cause it just makes the game feel bad. 🙁

It's not every enemy or at every level, it's a few specific things often only for certain levels
MOST enemies are scaled fine, but when they aren't it's REAL bad

I've seen a few that were legit undodgeable, but even if you can skill dodge the fact is that there are many things forcing skill-dodge-or-die gameplay at all levels that aren't supposed to be that way until high corruption
One of my deaths at level 12, with gear forged for HP thanks to it being my 2nd character, was in the ch2 rift. I died to the initial autoattacks of each enemy joining the fight through that health, a shield, and all three potions. Took about 2s to die.
Not all rift mobs can do that, I got unlucky with which ones it chose

A given point of damage is only one type. A move with hybrid damage just deals both types separately as a single hit. The death screen just isn't complex enough to show the full detail on it
So we don't know how much of that bite is phys and how much is cold. Could be 1 phys and over 5000 cold, or 1 cold and over 5000 phys

The mace is kinda okay if you need defense, % of max HP as threshold is pretty solid
I might try to get one for the main hand on my bleed lich if I get the gloves, so I can convert non-bleed suffix to bleed. Kinda a pie-in-the-sky thing tho.
(Endurance threshold REALLY good with corrupted form.)

Yeah, it'll depend on what gear I get. But with that 30% more HP multi on the passive itself, max HP gonna get REAL big I think
