Neither, it can give another 0-2 LP. Once it has LP, it won't change to affixes, but it can also empower and still not give you more LP.

Well, you can only put a 0LP item into the egg to start with. From there, it's a chance to grant the item LP, or straight to affixes. So, once you put a 0LP item in, you empower to give it a chance to apply LP, then empower again to raise said LP. If you simply drop it in there and then challenge it will... spit the item right back out.

In then end i am very close to the rule cap and it's a ton of work to cover all contingencies while eliminating those false positives

the main purpose of the filter, once you're under one inventory of items per echo, is to funnel items into your stash and you're going to search your stash later... so it's basically just about making sure only the items you really use are in your stash, and they're findable

if there's 20% of shit in your stash, but it never gets returned by a search, that's really no big deal

don't know the recommended stat since it's a skillcheck as well (if you don't get hit you can get by with a lot less defensive stat) but I can facetank most of normal abb attacks and get absolutely clobbered by ubb so 💀

You can take any Exalted item with any T7. Then use Glyph of Despair to free up a slot for melee crit chance, apply it at T1, then use Rune of Havoc to move the T7 affix to Melee crtit chance

you can go to the blessing npc in end of time to use a blessing with a new character but you have to fight the timeline boss with the new character and get the blessing again to use a better version on your new character ^^

Rune of Redemption will also randomly change an exalted affix to another one that can roll in that slot and item type. It'll stay as prefix/suffix so you want to make sure to only use it when teh T7's on something where needed. Way of taking a lottery chance when it's a situation where Havoc isn't really a good option--everything too high for Despair to seal one away, the exalt is in the right side, it's a low forging potential otherwise so you don't have much room to do multiple operations etc

You need to follow the winged boots paths on the maps. Complete the dungeons and it will skip entire chapters and give you the idol slots + passives from the quests you would have gotten

If you want to do that you can. Once you exit Soulfire Bastion you'll be in Chapter 7 and it will immediately give you the quests from Heoborea town. So you can just pick up the chain there.

Although, after exiting Soulfire Bastion, you may want to head West towards the Imperial Dreadnaught and jump off the ship. This puts you in Shining Cove in Chapter 5 and right by Temporal Sanctum dungeon. Then you need to do the following to get the Temporal Sanctum waypoint:

1. In Shining Cove, skip the Time Right for now as the door is locked, and Head to Maj'Elka to pick up the Sapphire Tablet quest.
2. Then warp back to Shining Cove and with the Sapphire Tablet quest the door will open to the Time Rift.
3. The Time Rift leads to Ruined Coast where you can finally pick up Temporal Sanctum dungeon waypoint.

You can also just get a friend to warp you to Temporal Sanctum dungeon in the future to the get the way point.

You can get way higher. You could possibly get T7 Dex which is +16 on: Helmet, Body Armor, Boots, x2 Rings, Gloves, Relic, and Quiver. And that's just from the Legendary Crafting, not counting if the Item base or Unique already had Dex or +All Attributes already.

Also lots of Passives: Steady Hand +8, Cloak of Shadows +8, Focuse Fire +8, Agile Hunt +8, Evasion Tactics +6. And Falconer Mastery gives +12 as well.

That's 178, plus 3 for base Dex and +1 for Majasa kill. So up to 182 before items like Red Ring with +5 All Attributes or a Helmet like Falconry Helm with +6 implicit Dex.

For things related to the spell cost with channeling spells, I believe it's based on the initial cost to start channeling. Looks like Laser Focus sets the mana cost to nothing, so the Sorcerer Mastery Bonus probably wouldn't give anything as well. If you didn't take Laser Focus then the mana would probably be considered 18 for Disintegrate, so 9% more damage from Sorc Mastery.

drop chance increases with extra corruption above 120 and is higher the further the echo is from the center
Shade has a different drop mechanic from the other Timeline stuff where instead of using increased item rarity that comes echo modifiers and Corruption, it uses distance from start and the Corruption number itself. So farming the Shade near the start isn't good for the Belt, Axe, and Amulet. It is ok for the Ring and Boots, though.

Also, the Confluence of Oblivion woven echo also has a higher drop chance for it and drops multiple Shade items. So if you have those and want to place it far out, that's a good option.

I don't believe there is currently a chart for the Shade drops like there is for the other Timeline bosses here https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/monolith-scaling so I don't know the exact numbers. But from what a number of people here have said here about farming the Shade near the start, they just never got Shattered Chains dropping that close to the starting location.

I personally got a couple LP 1 Shatter Chains from Confluence of Oblivion that was placed farther out. Around maybe +12-ish. It helps that Confluence of Oblivion has a better drop chance for Shattered Chains and you get multiple Shade drops. I'm playing CoF and I have that Rank 10 bonus of +150% boss drops, so when 1 item would drop I instead get 2-3. Last Confluence of Oblivion I did I got 8x Shade items, so that's probably 3-4 without that CoF Rank 10. But if you don't have any Confluence of Oblivion, try just doing the farther out Shade echoes. Farther the better.

Just think of Penetrations and Shreds as more damage. Unless you've taken an echo modifier such as All Resistances - Enemies have +25% to all resistances - or the enemy has a modifier such as of Gales - High Cold Damage and Cold Resistance - then they have no Resistances. Even with zero resistances, you can still put them negative and do more damage.

I usually go by if I need a drop from the Boss or Harbinger. You're going to be killing them to get Gaze at some point anyway, so might as well also get some extra drop chances. I guess you could also decide by if you really wanted a certain high blessing roll or if you found the enemies found in one timeline are less annoying that another. Another example, I personally don't like how long the Lagon boss fight is if you can't kill him during the first phase, so I'd probably not do that one.

I get the impression that they made sort of a general filter and then made some tweaks for each build, but when importing filters you'll need to often adjust it to suit your needs or turn off things you don't want to see.

Tip: with an item on the ground, open the filter screen and next to the item name will be a number. For example (31) means that filter line 31 is what's making that item show up. So you can quickly identify and you edit if you don't want to see that item.

You can use Runes of Shatter or Removal to get affix shards from an item. Shatter gives between zero and the tier number of shards for each affix on the item, minimum of one shard per item. Because Shatter can possibly give zero shards of an affix, if you really want the shards you mentioned you may want to instead use Rune of Removal + Glyph of Hope. Removal always gives the full tier number of shards on what it removes. And if Rune of Removal doesn't take off the affix you want and the item ends up at zero Forging Potential, you can still use Shatter with zero Forging Potential.

You take damage to Ward before Health. Ward doesn't reduce the damage, it just takes the damage instead of your Health. Your various defenses can help reduce the damage done to Ward, though, such as: Resistances, Armor, etc.
Ward Threshold - your Ward will not decay below the threshold.
Ward Retention - the more Ward you have the faster is decays, Ward Retention helps slow the decy.
You wrote Ward Endurance, but I think you probably meant Ward Retention. Endurance is a separate thing that only works on damage to Health, not Ward.

It's possible that Nemesis Egg can add LP. But it can also add a random Legendary affix as well. Imprint one does give you increased chance of one dropping when the Imprint does "similar items", but it is not guaranteed you'll get one. If you're reading or watching a video about getting a lot of Red Rings from Imprints, that was fixed in the 1.2.3 update and it's not guaranteed now. Just is increased chance like the Alt key for more information mentions.

See if that works for you. Test it out a T7 item you have with whatever affixes it has on it.

Yeah, you have to unequip any items that have MG symbol on them and you'll lose unspent Favor. You keep MG rank in case you want to switch back. You'd start in CoF with no rank.

those weaver tree slots, when you put an item into them? those only increase drop rates if that map/zone you are in could drop those items in the first place. Some boss-only item drops placed into those slots do nothing, unless you farm that boss.

Hello, I am trying to make a fun build, a freezing aura build with the least buttons to click (or just using 1 skill), I want the aura to kill all the stuff for me. Can someone tell me which mastery would be the best suited for this?
I was thinking about the sorcerer mastery since the passiv tree gives the most elemental damage which would push the damage of the aura quite a lot. Spellblade seems to be nice too but that would imply that I would have to attack myself which I actually wanted to avoid and it would more increase my cold melee damage instead of my aura damage.
And runemaster I don't know, it doesn't seem to do much for the aura damage except for the +30% ele damage and some elemental penetration, but that's mostly it.

you can get an armor shred affix and idols, and easy 20 armor shred stacks per one skill use

Unfortunately the only way currently to add LP to a regular unique item is seeing if the Nemesis Egg randomly adds it. Don't immediately throw out the failures, though, they can be used with the Gauntlet of Strife woven echo to reroll the values within their ranges on a copy you do want to use.

The Far Sight turtle is a woven echo. Each dungeon boss as their own loot drops - although the Warden Echo Weaver tree node can possibly make those drop in Echoes as well. Temporal Sanctum has Legendary item crafting. Soulfire Bastion has a souls gambler with higher level base items and can give Exalted, Uniques, a couple Uniques only from that. Lightless Arbor has a vault door you can throw money at for extra rewards, one of the game's gold sinks. You can throw literally millions of gold at it.

You can have a friend warp you right to the waypoint. If not, here's how you get to it:

The way you normally get to the Temporal Sanctum dungeon waypoint is slightly involved.

1. First you jump off the ship at Imperial Dreadnaught in the Thetima area, Imperial Era to end up in Shining Cove.
2. Next in Shining Cove, skip the Time Rift for now, and to head to Maj'Elka and pick up the Sapphire Tablet quest.
3. Then warp back to Shining Cove and with the Sapphire Tablet quest the door will open to the Time Rift.
4. The Time Rift leads to Ruined Coast where at the end you can pick up Temporal Sanctum dungeon waypoint.

You probably can, the dungeon has multiple tiers and T1 Temporal Sanctum is just area level 55. For comparison the first monolith is area level 58. Of course Julra can be harder mechanic wise than other bosses, but I bet with your twinked out gear you can do it.

I need Shattered chains. I have done around 15 orbyss between 120-300 corruption. 13 abby of my eyes, 25 of others. I have all the shade things in my tree and I have never seen convocation drop once. I've even ascended 15 plate belts just in case cause google said that might work.

Is there anything else I can do? I have 8 world splitters, 2 nihilis, 9 flames of midnight. (And I'm CoF)

You fight 5x Shades and get multiple drops. Last time I did Confluence of Oblivion with CoF Rank 10 I got like 8 Shade drops. Which is probably 3-4 Shade drops without CoF Rank 10.

This was from the last one I ran. 8x Shade drops because of CoF Rank 10 and some other random unique. Without CoF Rank 10 you should still get more drops than the regular Shade fight AND Confluence of Oblivion has increased drop rates for Belt, Axe, and Amulet. Do place it farther out, though. Don't put it right neat the starting point.

Yeah others have mentioned that as well. If you kill him slower so that you get the teleport to bottom phase, the Prophecies do trigger. If you'd like to submit an in game bug report and mention that when you killed him in first phase the Prophecies didn't work, it's possible that it's a bug.

mostly, no. but some echoes to provide bonuses to echoes near it

For most of them, no. A few of them change nearby echoes when you complete them, such as Lostwood Folly, Cenotaph of Worlds, Woven Vessel of Chaos, and Woven Vessel of Memory - the latter two don't work on woven echoes. Sepulchre of the Lost duplicates the echo rewards of nearby echoes as an additional bonus when completed. Confluence of Oblivion gives better drops if it is placed farther away from the starting point, like the regular Shade fights.

I'm not, although I'm also just not buying a really large number of stash tabs in this season. I've just been blasting through echoes and picking up the larger gold piles. There 3 Weaver tree passives in the bottom part of the tree that directly can give extra gold if you're interested: Zerrick's Aid, Golden Treasures, Regal Foes. Also any of the Weaver tree that gives you extra pack size is nice. The gold reward echoes give a decent amount. Also most items do not vendor for very much, but some uniques sell for an ok amount.
