Question about damage scaling for spells triggered by other spells.
If I want to go for something like Spark Charge through lightning blast or Storm Bolt through gathering storm. How do I scale this damage?

"More" damage nodes to gathering storm/lightning blast does nothing, right? So those are out. Likewise crit nodes for lightning blast / gathering storm?

So the only remaining thing is to stack attack/cast speed + unique items?

Also, and honestly my main question: Crit?
Since there's no way to increase base crit from 5%, outside of items, is it even worth stacking crit chance on rings etc? Is there a way to get enough crit on items to make it worth it?

To answer your main question on crit... Yes, absolutely you can get enough crit chance to make it worth. This is from my current build, and it's not even specifically crit focused, I just happened to pick some up along the way

Okay 1 by 1: Yes it wont scale through the proccing skill unless otherwise mentioned in the proccing node. That said there are some procs that get scaled globally by a specific skills tree, no matter what procs it, i would check for that by going to lastepochtools selecting the procced skill and reading through the sources

As for crit: very possible as theres both base crit and increased crit on items

Taking that weapon off moves my melee crit chance back down to 77%

With all this said and disregarding mechanics altering uniques for a second. It feels like if I want to scale any given >HIT< ability that doesnt have a cooldown. The way to go is to focus on "More damage" nodes on the skill itself. And then follow this priority (based on limited slots to get each stat on as well as importance:

1. Flat Damage + Flat Crit chance increase
2. Attack Speed / Cast Speed
3. Increased Crit chance + Crit Multiplier
4. Shred / Penetration
5. Increased damage

Would you change something on this list? Add in stuff or rearange stuff?

All of those numbers, u want to increase whichever you have the least of percentage wise. If you have 2000 flat damage and add 50, while having 0 speed, that would not make sense

Only other thing i can think off thats basically a walking build (altho you hold a button) is playing mana stacking sorc with focus and the necklace that makes you move during focus, its prolly good enough to do a few hundred corruption, just terrible at bossing

Always report bugs when ever you see them and even if you've reported them before - as long as you are negatively impacting your own gameplay!

I usually report a bug once a gameplay session if I know it's an intermittent issue, and report new bugs when I see them (as long as everything around me is dead and it's safe to do so)

Legendaries are a yes - the item you sacrifice just has to be equal or better than the item you want to reroll so equal or more legendary affixes

if you finish the echo objective and then you do the tomb, and exit the tomb and portal out. there is a time frame that the portal will take you to the "end of time map" not to the small island after you finish the echo with the echo rewards

As for the bug you mentioned - When you spawned the Portal to leave the Echo, did it spawn over the entrance to the Tomb?

I thought so, that's known to the team and they're working on it. What happens there is the game registers the input to both the portal and the tomb entrance, get 'confused' about where you intended to go and sends you to a 'safe' area which is the last Town you were in, which is the End of Time.

Move a bit away from the Tomb before spawning that portal.

So a Blue Portal spawned in using (T) is always a 'Return to last Town Portal', when you complete an Echo make sure to click the 'Open Portal' button to get the Green Portal to move on to the 'Echo of the World' island

I assume the island is your last town after completing one echo and thats why it works correctly 99% of the time for me? Makes sense. (Its actually how i check whether echo quest was completed since it spawns in as green or blue depending on that, both take you to the island though).

quick tip: dont try and duplicate boss drop uniques in the weaver tree imprint slots cos they wont work. It only tries to drop similar items from 1. echo completion reward or 2. from killing enemies in echos or 3. opening lost caches. I made the mistake of putting the cold bow you get from reign of winter boss in my imprint slows and wondered why i never saw any!

The condition you have with has 1 affix: this confirms that it has the affix you want on t6 and than a second condition with all affixes over tier 6 to confirm it has another. It needs to be 2 of these for the second since you include the ones you want and its a seperate condition.

Removing the ones you want from the second condition and setting it to 1 would also somewhat work but ironically remove items with 2 or more of the ones you want from that filter xD

After the 1.2 changes, you can do just Time Rot. Void Knight has passives like Rot Grip that can really boost the damage and you can combo Devouring Orb Skill tree passive All Consuming with Anomaly Skill tree passive Quicksand for burst damage. I've been playing it this Season and it's fun.

go to a Cemetary echo and you can slap a "lostwood folly" woven echo down surrounded by the "temple full of shrines" (forget the name, but it's one of the basic set). Pop the Folly which sends lots of weaver mobs into all the surrounding echoes, which all the shrines help in farming up quickly; they drop a bunch of amber. More than enough to break even to then hop over to weaver island and buy more of those echoes to do it all again

Which Imprint are you using? I just tested it and could put a Quiver into Commoner's, Sealed, and Warlord's.

If you're trying to put it into Echoing, that one just says Armor or Jewelry, and Quivers aren't Armor. Armor items in LE are: Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves, Belt, and Boots.

Ravenous Void is one of the only (maybe the only?) item that drops both from a specific boss AND is a random world drop. As it it can be a random world drop, yes, you can imprint it. Just note that it's still a very rare item.

I believe that screen shows both the regular Blessings and the Grand Blessings. The Grand have the gold border. As the Grand Blessings are completely better than the regular Blessings, there isn't really any reason to farm the regular boss.

The in game guide for Corruption mentions, "Corruption also, very slightly, increases the odds of unique items having Legendary Potential or Weaver's Will." But with the increased item rarity that you're getting from Corruption and echo mods, you'll be dropping more unique items. The more you get, the more chances you'll have to get a Legendary Potential copy.

I’ve started having the weirdest bug playing on my steamdeck. If I shut the deck down, and then resume playing later, the game has ‘forgotten’ im using a controller as input. The game is still working fine (can test using touch screen controls), but I have to restart for controller controls to appear and work again. If an item drops while you're playing together in the same area, you can use item gifting. Click on their icon on the left to gift the item and then item shows up in the inventory in the item gifting tab.

If you're not playing together and an item drops, there is a resonance system you can use. You play together until a resonance of the appropriate type drops and you can use that to give them an item.

Outside of those, there is no direct player to player trading. Just the Bazaar if you join Merchant's Guild item faction.

No. But don't immediately toss the bricked copy. There's the Gauntlet of Strife woven echo that rerolls Legendary item value ranges - the entire item including implicits. It needs a sacrificial item with equal or higher: LP and number of affixes / WW + affix tier, so you can use the bricked copies to reroll one you do want to keep. It's inexpensive to respec it, just 20 Memory Amber a point, so feel free and experiment and take things you enjoy. I started with some of the "more" passives near the middle, then got the Imprints, Loot Lizards - because I think they're fun - and some stuff for larger pack sizes, extra dungeon keys, and Champions. I also took the node where a random Shade of Orobyss can jump you in maps, also because I think it's fun. But there's lots of other stuff in there as well, such as things for Weaver's Will, Nemesis, Exiled Mages, etc etc

Change the Keyboard Movement - Movement Abilities drop down in Settings -> Gameplay.

If you set that to either of the Follows Movement options, then Evade goes the direction character is facing. If you have it on Follows Cursor then you Evade in cursor direction.

If you want to grab a bunch of Prophecies and run them fast, you can combine the new lenses added 1.2: Focusing Lens of Time that makes it so there's no arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. And Obscuring Lens of Time that does the opposite for no monolith. Combine both and then it just does the generic prophecies, so no monolith, arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Completion speed wise those two + whatever you want, such as Wealth.

If you don't mind doing Monolith Bosses, leave off Obscuring Lens of Time and can do a Lens to target something or Refracting Lens of Rhyme for double use.

400k would still take some time to burn through, though. Even if you're buying the more expensive Prophecies with Wealth Lens.

You can't edit a Legendary item there, if that's what you're asking. I mentioned the conditions before, the item must have 1 Forging Potential to be able to use it. Uniques / Legendaries have zero FP. The item must have strength, intelligence, dexterity, or attunement. It doesn't let you swap vitality.

If you can't put the Exalted Helmet in your picture in Relic of the Oberserver, yes that sounds like a bug. It has Forging Potential and it has what looks like the regular Dexterity attribute. Please use the in game bug report. Escape key - Report a Bug.

no need to worry about bonus stability, its small extra reward for clearing more monsters that you dont really have to. Every mono has extra stability and you get far more from corruption later (I get around 100 per full clear at 500'ish)

T1-T4 you can upgrade with Forge. F5+ you can't upgrade but there are some advanced things such as Rune of Havoc that shuffles tiers, but that's something for late game.

Early game you're just going to want to use Rune of Discovery if you want to add random affixes to an item you just found for no Forging Potential cost. Glyph of Chaos to try and change an affix. Glyph of Hope when upgrading an affix or adding an affix.
