if you fill the stability bar you unlock quests and the third quest is the monolith boss and after defeating that you unlock your next monolith ^^

There may be a term miscommunication here. An echo is each individual node in any particular timeline. If you mean when do you go to the next timeline, the answer is that there's a "stability" bar you can see up top when selecting nodes. Once that's full past the tic marks, you can trigger the quests you see off to the left. Those three quests culminate in a boss, which after you defeat you can move onto the next timeline.

I had to do my own digging on that topic, @glacial gale - and I found a dev response on reddit saying that you CAN reduce mob resistances into negative values. So 270% fire resistance shred, for example, makes you do 270% more damage to that mob.

Yes, you need to have it equipped. It generally just upgrades the existing modifiers, though, so it'll usually be a good-ish exalted that you're trying to upgrade. Rather than some trash piece. Lol.

I believe I see what you're getting at. Try clearing a couple nodes in timeline Y real quick for me and see if the catchup shows up at the start. I seem to recall once that mine wasn't showing recently until I'd started already clearing out looking for the regular Orobyss node.

Sort of. Once you complete any timeline on an alt, you unlock all the blessings you've discovered on your main, but they'll say "First discovered on another character. You can use the minimum roll."

And if you want a higher roll you need to go farm it on the alt.

I did some digging on this and everything I've found so far suggests that imprints obey normal drop restrictions; logically, this should mean that you can't drop ladles from imprints, only from mages.

But you can use the weaver tree to get more mages more often, top leftish on the tree.

Gauntlet of Strife rerolls every affixes value and implicit values on the item within the listed value ranges. Just the values though, it doesn't change a Legendary affix to a different affix.

There isn't a Circle of Fortune Prophecy specifically for Envy, although you could try doing the generic Glyph prophecies. Green Loot Lizards have an increased chance at dropping Envy and there's that Weaver tree passive for a chance that Champions to be accompanied by a Green Loot Lizard and the other Loot Lizard stuff. But there's nothing directly that says give Envy, unfortunately. At least that I'm aware of.

Shattering returns between zero and the tier number of shards for each affix on the item. It's a minimum of at least 1 shard per item, not 1 per affix.

Removal always gives you the tier number of affixes in what it removes. So if it's an affix you really want, use Removal and you'll get the full amount. If the item ends up at 0 FP, it can still be Shattered.

It's referring to the Vault of Uncertain Fate that's after the Lightless Arbor dungeon boss. You can throw gold at the vault door to reroll and add modifiers to the chests inside the vault.

This is one of the money sinks in the game and you can throw literally millions at the vault door.

Mmm seems to be a bit of confusion here. You don't have to do every timeline, just get to empowered monoliths before bothering with corruption.

The Shade of Orobyss is a boss located in Echo of a World echoes, you'll find these on the edges of your echo web. The farther away from the starting point you fight him, the more Corruption you get. Also defeating the Timeline boss gives 1x Gaze of Orobyss. When you fight the Shade, up to 4x Gaze are used, giving +12 Corruption each. Echo of a World looks like this. The Bonus Corruption in the picture is because I have a Timeline with higher Corruption and you get the bonus in lower Corruption timelines as a catch up mechanic.

There are more advanced things, such as using Glyph of Envy and Harbinger Needles, but the basics are: defeat Timeline boss, get Gaze, defeat Shade boss and up to 4x Gaze are used, and raised Corruption.

As you get into Empowered, there will be a quest chain with the Forgotten Knight faction and you can push their Harbinger button to see details on what you need to do to progress that. The end of it has you defeating all Harbingers, getting to 300 Corruption, and you can fight Aberrorth. That boss drops the Threshold of Eternity woven echo, which requires 500 Corruption and is what you'd use to fight Uber Aberrorth.

Similar for Exalted. CoF Prophecies and if you get a decent one Imprint it. Some of the woven echoes drop a ton of stuff. The "for great a ___" ones give you a little pile of class items. Unclaimed Trove and Vault of the Barnacle King have a bunch of Caches and/or Loot Lizards.

Make sure you're filtering for the affixes you need and consider using Redemption or Havoc as needed.

Just keep re-enchanting then until you get a higher total of initial enchant tier + WW. Add those together, example T2 Enchant + 3 WW is 5 total. The possible range of the initial enchant is 5 to 14 total. With 14 turning into 2x T7 enchants when fully upgraded.

So if you see 5 total initially, it'll never be able to reach T7. You'd need at least 7 total initially to have a chance at it. And then it could add the second affix and upgrade that.

You just keep playing. Item rarity increases with the echo mods and Corruption. So at higher you'll get more drops. I think I've only gotten one item with 2x T7 this season so far. A number of T7 + T6 and about a stash tab full of 2x T6.

But don't immediately toss the copy with bad affixes. There's the Gauntlet of Strife woven echo that rerolls Legendary item value ranges - the entire item including implicits. If the item changes, the Imprint changes. I believe what you're describing would put the MG required symbol and cannot be traded on the item. So if it works and the item doesn't disappear, you're not going to be able to sell the Imprint drops. Similar to if you buy an item from the Bazaar and Imprint it - the Imprint drops have cannot be traded on them.

Hmm you can also filter by total affix tier. You probably need to throw a couple items on the ground and play with the filter settings. The number it shows at the end of the item name with the filter screen open shows what filter line number is making it show up. For example "item name (31)" would mean it's filter line 31

Well, the Shade you'd have fought to reset the echo is the point. The reset just comes with it. In parallel terms, it also gives you a new web if you were farming the actual echo rewards and layouts with vessels of chaos and memory, but with the new systems in place that is somewhat secondary to other loot acquisition methods now.

Yes. For example Rune of Havoc is another rare item that you could try to get more of, so you'd look for vault mods like:

• Adds a Chest that drops many Runes and Glyphs.
• Adds many Runes to a Random Chest.
• All items from Every Chest have a 50% chance to be duplicated.
• All chests drop 30% more items.
• Triplicates / Duplicates Every Chest - these are once only.

but envy a timeline up to fight the boss + harbringer + needle. do that till you have 8 gaze then a shade will spawn on that timeline at the beginning, rinse and repeat to raise your corruption fast

The jist of it is you take an existing item, and a unique with legendary potential into the dungeon known as temporal sanctum.

On tier 2 or higher you can choose one of the affixes to guarantee on the legendary result.

It scales with your level, there's a chart someone posted somewhere or it's in the patch notes that shows the values at each 10 lvl increment.

I started typing this up but got distracted.

Legendary Potential crafting. You need three things:

1. an unique item with Legendary Potential (LP), this is listed at the top of the item if it has it.
2. an Exalted item of the same base type with 4x unsealed affixes. Lot of terms there: Exalted items have at least one T6-T7 affix. Same base type means for example One-Handed Sword -> One-Handed Sword, but it doesn't have to be the same sub type such as Katana. The item may have a Sealed affix but it is not used or counted towards the 4x required affixes.
3. Temporal Sanctum dungeon key.

Doing Temporal Sanctum dungeon Tier 2 or higher guarantees 1x affix transfer of your choice. After the dungeon boss there is an Eternity Cache, use the dungeon mechanic key, D key or if WASD then B key. With T2+ you can select 1 of the 4 Affixes from the Exalted item to transfer. Any remaining LP is used to randomly select other Affixes to transfer from the Exalted item.

Long as he dies you should be fine I believe, although the shade is meant to be a gear check; if you can't kill him you may not be able to handle the higher corruption level

Shatter on Sealed. Yes, but note that Shatter gives between zero and the tier number of shards. So it's possible you don't get any shards from it. As an example, here's an item that I used Removal on until there was only the Sealed affix to cut down on the clutter to see what the Shatter gives. You can see the Shards going to the Forge in the second picture.

I get the impression that they made sort of a general filter and then made some tweaks for each build, but when importing filters you'll need to often adjust it to suit your needs or turn off things you don't want to see.

Tip: with an item on the ground, open the filter screen and next to the item name will be a number. For example (31) means that filter line 31 is what's making that item show up. So you can quickly identify and you edit if you don't want to see that item.
