I've been using it, feels far better than d4's implementation
I don't really care about having an attack on left click so for me it's perfect the way it is
being able to aim and move is the only thing I wanted, as I have really bad joints, and this lets me play builds that require aiming
overall it feels great... and I found some really fun details:
you can move while your menus are up (ie, skills or passives) with wasd, so it's even better for allocating stuff while moving than mouse is

Void Knights are very strong, yes. They don't have as many "when you do this you heal yourself" actions as other Sentinel masteries but they are still plenty tanky and do good damage. So if you like the aesthetic it's a great class to learn the game on

In game press K key or open Inventory and select Appearances at the top. Thats where you can set cosmetics you're using.
