write a support ticket, send your dxdiag and LE Logfiles...And Maybe they see where the problem is...and its still the first circle after release...so not all is working flawlessly but theire still improving and im sure they getting there....but they can only fix things, they know of and they reach out really fast, so i recommend support ticket (ingame), Forums etc... 🙂

I believe It's because it's not a subskill of Ring of Shields, it's a skill belonging to the shield minions generated by Ring of Shields. So it isn't automatically linked - though do still submit a bug report and we can see if we can add it manually.

it is likely not an exact carbon copy, but, excluding int, should have the same tags. its still a fire dot spell
but kain does bring up a point...its from a minion, so, you might need minion spell
Yes, it scales with minion stats. The Shield Minion does gain stats from your shield, so non-minion stats on the shield will benefit the shield minions
so maybe some unique shield will have something for that...? normal shields can't really get relevant offensive stats I think

You will continue to benefit from progression in Legacy. The new cycle is a fresh start if you chose to participate in the cycle.

Minion base damage as a whole is fairly rare, yes. Though minion damage is generally scaled with this in mind.
ok, I'm just wondering because I'm playing a minion build and I have some amount of minion damage on my gear etc. my other dudes are doing fine but well, they scale with my weapon instead.... the RoS aura is ticking for 18 damage in lvl 100 areas so I wonder if there's any possibility of making it viable. seems kinda challenging

What is the best use for all those runes of ascendence? I already had like 10 when I reached 50 on my first character, but I never used them so far. Any specific things I have to be aware of to get higher chances for something or is it really pure RNG independent of everything?
it's all RNG as far as I know, doesn't depend on character level or anything, or even your class

you can probably find some online but it isn't that important in this game in my experience... most things will work atleast at low corruption levels
maxroll has some, but its mostly just listing their builds and opinions. there are plenty more that can do what their builds can do
maxroll actually does the tier lists pretty well for this game by providing multiple tier lists... pushing corruption / speed farming / survivability / etc
my current build isn't even on maxroll and I'm blasting at 120 corruption... I don't even have the patience to play one build much higher than that

yeah. there's lots of variety in this game and you can quite easily make your own build if you can make somewhat coherent choices when it comes to picking passives and skills

Basically getting the stat bonuses for your blessings is arguably better than the drop rates. If you're playing Circle of fortune you can get the drops pretty consistantly even without drop rate increases. And if you're merchant's guild you can probably buy the item, or at least close enough
I am MG. Buying Items from market Is a dream thhat is very far away. The favor Requirements are so high I can't buy exalted. Only exalted weapons.

For the first: That is not possible. You can only share gear if:
- both have a certain level in Merchants Guild (MG)
- both play a long time togehter and have rare resonaces
- or if you play together you can share what drops in that session

monolith to get all grand blessings you want. sprinkle in dungeons when need for gear and/or upgrades and/or when bored with monolith grind

There is a very specific thing you're saying there. There are two tags you're referring to.
Melee and fire.
Because neither of those are physical it will not scale of phys but will scale off melee
For flats:It will apply if the skill type(melee/bow/spell) matches.
Your shadow Daggers will now inflict Melee Fire Dmg (that will be scaled by Increase Fire and Increase Melee) on top of the regular Melee Phys Dmg

no, only orobyss increases corr. you get to choose again, just like any other blessing roll

Frost claw mage is good for that but it can take allot of investment.

You can have 1 of each timeline specific blessing. If you defeat a boss , you can choose to keep the blessing or chose a new one

It still does, gaining the time bubble doesn't stop the time sending. You still send enemies around forward in time on cast, the time bubble is an additional effect.

For instance, i want to hide shields but i want to change the color of necrotic dmg. If a shield drops i dont want to see it. However im seeing the shield with diferent color
for BM at least the issue is that you really don't have good ailment application
none of BM's skills that have built in ailment application actually hit very often
it also doesn't help that poison has trash unique weapon support
also sustain becomes an issue

if my math is correct this build should be dealing about 355 damage per poison stack (not accounting for the poison res shred from the first 30 stacks) and each stack lasts at least 64% longer than normal

im not sure, it uses Ctonic Fissure with 70% increased spirit frequency, which also have this upgrade node
as for poison chance, its got about 400% from all sources, so it should be putting at least 4 stacks per second on them

im using bone curse mainly for the extra curse on the enemy, which gives me extra damage reduction and armor but also to get Bone Armor buff
With this node and a Plaguebearer, You have 200+ (4x250%) chance per second if the enemy is on the fissure.
12 stacks per second.
Take triple fissure and set them in different directions, and you can get 36 stacks per second on a boss.
i also have an extra 30% chance to poison from a warlock passive (Vile Tide)

each of which is ~10.5k per poison
i did the math manually by accounting for all Poison damage % stats plus about 100% poison pen (you can get more than that) but not accounting for the poison res shred of the first 30 stacks. i took 30 damage per stack and then multiplied by the % increase listed in the stat sheet

but i just noticed there is a listed flat damage in the character sheet as well

personal affixes are just one time only campaign drops. mostly not worth doing anything with tbh

Those two are the same thing, since you lose a % of your current ward per second, getting more flat ward per second leaves you with more total ward when you are sitting around
think of it as "the more ward you have, the faster you lose ward" and it becomes a bit more clear. if you're generating more ward, the amount at which the generation rate and the decay rate balance out goes up

usually people just build ward because ward is OP right now. the next patch in a couple of weeks is meant to have a lot of balance here so we'll have to see what happens
the reasons to build health and ward are basically just if you're a build using either Twisted Heart, or the Exsanguinous/Last Steps of the Living/experimented gloves package, both of which give ward based on your health. but you're not a health build in either case, you're just happening to get a bit of health to scale your ward generation
But where do ppl get ward? I see plent of it on passives and skills but its hard to find afixes on gear
passives and skills are often enough to get insane ward
those specific items I mentioned above can also help a lot

then you just need lots of ward retention, which is the stat that slows down the rate at which ward decays.
conveniently, intelligence grants 4% increased ward retention per point, so getting as much intelligence as possible is often a goal for ward builds (especially since you can often scale a few other things off intelligence too)

yeah, one of the big problems with building both health and ward right now is that endurance only applies to health, not ward. but health survivability scales really efficiently with endurance% and feels weak without it. so using both health and ward is wasteful

Health builds usually do want to cap endurance, yes. It's capped at 60%

Freeze Rate Multiplier increases the chances that a enemy will be 'frozen' - they cannot move or use skills, but does not do damage. Most Cold skills have 'freeze rate'.
Increased Cold Damage will increase the amount of Cold Damage, but not increase Freeze Rate chance.
It's incredibly difficult to Freeze Bosses, so it would depend what you're wanting to make easier.
I will say. If something is frozen it's like another layer of defense.
True, I stacked Stun on my build which is similar to Freeze so most non-Boss mobs aren't an issue. Bosses though 😅

Bosses are supposed to be hard. And it's just like Bone Shatter. Stunning is going to be harder because if you could just stun lock a boss that would be meta
Oh I agree! I enjoy my build, no complaints about Boss mechanics when it comes to freezing/stunning - it sets them apart and provides that 'boss level' difficulty jump.
My run up to Majasa was stand still, stun and kill. Majasa however was a lot of 'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah! drop a Ballista Aaaaaaaaah runningrunningrunning! Aha - spam Flurry, pick up potions, redrop Ballistae and now, Aaaaaaaaaah runningrunningrunning' 🤣

It's a cool build but really mana hungry. Get prepared to bash your brains in getting enough mana regen along with the stats you need. I put together some good stats only to realize I'm severely g i m p e d on strength. And naturally I just blew thru half a dozen +str rings with troll rolls 😫
You could just run Volatile Reversal.
Build does have it, but also has the node that makes it not restore mana 🙄

the sheet dps doesn't apply conditional stats, as in it doesn't bother checking weather or not shatter strike qualifies for this nodes condition which is to have above 10 mana cost

When you use this node for warpath you are no longer able to make the skill cost 0 mana? Is this intended or is it a bug?
how would that be possible? if you weren't aware, that node adds mana cost every second. so it's +4 after one second, +8 after 2 seconds, etc. it sucks, don't use it

in 1.1? we know every class got some changes, we have very little information about what they are right now. will have to wait for patch notes. it doesn't sound like forge guard got that many changes based on things Mike has said
Ah, I thought it was just a generic +4 and that is it, so you could reduce it with other nodes from warpath that gave -mana cost
you can reduce it with those other -cost nodes, but yeah since it adds cost every second that doesn't help for very long

There is an affix for % Reduced Channeled Mana Cost that will help you keep your Warpath for longer

The content will be almost the same in cycle and legacy. Just the final harbinger boss fight will be online cycle exclusive until someone beats it or a full week goes by

thats my problem, increase minion damage +50% on both rings, when i put those rings off and respawn wraithlord, test dummy shows same damage

Check if the affix your trying to add can be applied to the item you're crafting. IF it can, make sure it can go in the open slot - a prefix can only go on the left and suffixes can only go on the right

Is there a benefit to either CoF vs MG for a casual like me? I did CoF in 1.0 for a while, then took a break, but I'm planning on coming back for 1.1.
The main benefit of CF is just not interacting with the market if you don't enjoy that. Otherwise, MG is the way to go. Both are fun imo.
If the build you want to play requires a specific item to function go MG. If you don’t want to spend time shuffling through items for sale go CF.
Is there a list of powerful / fun builds that are CF friendly? I was checking out a reent Dr3adful video but he seems to be all about MG
Recent dr3adful video are all cof from scratch in 2 days, so these build are cof compatible.
Now if you want to push to the absolutely perfect gear, then MG is generally the way (expect maybe for meta builds that everybody buy).
I farmed a Torment Warlock with CoF this Cycle. It's pretty decent. There were a few uniques that took me a while to farm, but the build worked without them. Just became much stronger and tankier after getting them. Like getting some of the boss only drops like Immolator's Oblation and Twisted Heart of Uhkeiros took a quite a while. Some of the other items like a Boneclamor Barbute were easy to get as it's a common world drop so I could use CoF Prophecies for extra drop chances.
If the build you're looking at requires high LP Uniques or really rare Uniques to function, I wouldn't suggest starting with that build in CoF.
Can someone confirm if I understood resistances right?
So resistances are capped at 75% but enemies will penetrate 1% resistances per area level (up to 75%). So if I want to not take any increased damage I should have all resistances at 150%, correct?
No, it caps at 75%. Going past the cap, called uncapped resistance, is only helpful for things that reduce resistance such as Resistance Shreds, Shock, Marked for Death, etc.
There are also some items and passives that can scale off your uncapped resistance.

your goal is somewhere around 75%, it's not absolutely necessary to hit that
Yeah this game isn't as punishing if you're a bit below in resistances. You just take that much extra damage. Like if you're at 65% you'd take 10% more of that damage type.
But then what does the in-game tip mean, the one that says that minions will penetrate 1% resistances per area level?
So that when you're low level it's not super punishing
it means you should think about your resistances relatively early, otherwise stuff is going to hurt later on
It's just early game balance since resists are way harder to get at low levels
I am still a bit confused about this mechanic. If monsters penetrate 1% of your resistances per are level then it means that at empowered monoliths they would ignore your 75% resistances (let's say they are capped) and deal full damage to you. If you have 0% resistances then it means you would take extra damage, correct?
From what Father Toast said it makes me think that monsters will think that you have more resistances early on so the game is somewhat balanced in the beginning.

You can think of it as enemies get increasingly more bonus damage as you go into higher level areas. You can reduce bonus damage this by getting resistances.
Yes, if you have 0 resistance in an area level 75+, you'd take 75% more damage.
But if you're in an area level 10, they only have 10% extra. So it's not as punishing on new characters.
You mostly want to focus on getting Physical resistance during the Campaign.
Once you're getting into the end game, Resistance is one defensive layer you'll get for your character. Just Resistance is not enough. You'll want multiple defenses that will vary based on class and build. Armor for example works on all damage except damage over time. You'll want either Crit Avoid or Reduced Crit Damage Taken, don't need both. Some classes have access to Dodge, Block, Glancing Blow, Parry, etc or other class specific damage reducing Skills or Passives. If you're doing a Health build, you want Endurance, if you're doing a Low Life Ward build, Endurance won't help for that as Endurance just works on damage to Health. Also movement speed is really helpful, if they're not hitting you, you're not taking damage. Etc etc
Ah ok, so damage for minions in this game is balanced around you taking full damage? I keep thinking that you should reduce their damage by 75% somehow in order to withstand hits (that is why I was thinking 150 is needed, they will ignore 75% but you would still have 75 left)
Yeah Resistances cap at 75%. If you have any Resistances over 75% you'll see two numbers listed. The 75% is the cap. The second higher number is the uncapped, the total.
Uncapped resistance is just useful for things that reduce Resistance like Shreds, Shock, Marked for Death, etc. You don't really need to worry about these. They're just extra damage like so many other things. Mostly you're going to aim to be in the neighborhood of 75%. If you're under, it's ok. It's again just a bit of extra damage you'd take.
The exception to that is unless you have a passive or item that scales off uncapped resistance. Example, Boneclamor Barbute Helmet https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzBsNI gives
1 Ward per Second per 3% uncapped Necrotic Resistance
Uncapped is again your total resistance, so if you had say 100 necrotic resistance, this would give around 33 Ward per second. So with this kind of thing, going over the cap can be helpful. Especially when combined with a Passive like Cthonic Fissure's Twisted Waves that also gives extra damage from uncapped necrotic resistance.
The game is balanced around you having 0% effective resistances
Which is what you'll have if you're resist capped in a level 75+ zone. As you level up to that point, keeping resists equal to the area level would keep you from taking extra damage.
And going over/under would mean you take less/more damage than expected at that level (which is normal in practice)
Thinking you need 150 is a pretty common misconception. People ask about it fairly frequently
Yeah, that. Overcapping just doesn't protect against penetration and the end effect is you don't need to stress over capping everything like you would in similar games like PoE.
Like if you have 0% resists, you just take 75% more damage rather than 300% more in PoE
When the passive tree says something like "increase poison chance". What does it means? Poison chance on hit? When inflicting DoT?...
Which Passive are you looking at? It's probably increased chance to inflict poison debuff on hit

All ailments can only be applied by a hit, so always assume "On hit"

Arena lobby. Use the very left one.
In the arena zone, far left side. THere are a few sets of dummies. The one on the very far left side counts as an "enemy" for things like minions

They said that enemies in lvl 75+ areas penetrate res by 75%, which overcapping doesn't affect
meaning that at 0 res, you take 175% damage and at 75% res you take 100% damage
taking 100% / 175% damage is 57% damage damage taken compared to 0 res, so 43% less damage taken

it's a great cycle starter but is definitely very involved
your damage output comes from a 3 button rotation, plus using minion command key and fury leap for movement

why do some non-buff skills get a buff tag when you pick a node that makes it buff you, while other skills don't get that same tag even though you pick a node that makes it buff you? for example javelin gets you the buff tag when you pick battle standard, but anomaly doesn't when you turn it into a time bubble?
same with volatile reversal. some nodes in that skill clearly makes the skill buff you when you use it, but it still don't get no buff tag.
but somehow javelin gets the buff tag when you use a node that makes it give you a buff if you stand near it?

Is there a way to see ingame or easy some online resource to check wether x or y damage affix (that both work for my build) rolls higher values on a ring for example? I got a prefix open and I'm wondering between damage over time or necrotic damage for a necrotic curse warlock build... altho I guess I'm not actually 100% necrotic
I have color coded them (white) normal, (blue) magic, (yellow) rare, (purple) epic ☺️
I usually pick up any rare item, magic item if I want to craft and use it, and white if I want to break it for affixes

Only damage rolls that are different are "elemental damage" (lower) and "elemental damage over time" (higher). All the others are identical.

1 I see straight without purple (as I understand it works)
2 more are completely filled with purple (they don’t work, as I understand it)
and the rest are not completely filled
The ring around them just gives info about them. The blue/purple ring fullness shows how well that blessing is rolled (full ring is maximum roll, no/empty ring is minimum roll - press Ctrl+Alt on a blessing to view the stat roll range). If there's an additional yellow ring, it's an empowered blessing.
You don't need to do anything with the blessing after getting it, it's just a passive stat buff like equipment.
