That is very likely a build problem, as even a mid build can break 200 corruption. The devs also TRY to balance around 300 corruption.

If you set up HH tree right you can bypass a lot of defensive layers early game I'm at 400 corruption ATM and can't die to anything as I generate over 65k ward

I like to start either with a unique or a node in a skill.
For the scaling into endgame you generally need to check if it has some nice More Dmg, if you can get Crit Capped or some nice Penetration/Shred etc.....
You should look at The Curse on Yt, he made a trio of videos where he details he proccess. Its very intesting

generally speaking when you want to get tanky, you look for a combination of different tanky stats, so a combination of HP, HP%, resistances, armour and rcr/rcd will make you tankier than going full HP monkey

though i'm not sure whether this general logic also applies to ARPGs, but mathematically that's generally what you aim to do; for example if you play dota or league, you never stack just HP, you always go for a combination of HP and armour/MR

you pmuch prioritise getting tanky to prepare for later, because things will start oneshotting you, and even trash mob chip damage will hurt

monolith bosses give you a choice of 1 blessing per timeline, and these give perks like extra phys res, extra mana etc.

you'll know you've succeeded when you can get up to super super high corruption levels (like 1k++) and can pretty much still facetank most things in the game

I would try to use the Extalted even though the item base is worse tbh. hp% and the ability to add any stat you want might just be better than the flat dmg. Test it out, if dmg becomes an issue just swap back - but the extalted item will make you more tanky at a small? cost to dmg

Prophecies can be game-wide, some of them may only trigger in specific dungeons, arena tiers etc. The prophecy will tell you where it can be (or has to be) completed. You can be a bit conservative with them, and just pick ones you feel like doing - for instance, if you do not like playing Arena, you can just not select those prophecies

Lenses are kind of personal preference, but general consensus is that the +90%/+80% higher rank lenses are very efficient. (Double prophecy uses, and double prophecy items)

Typical combination in end-game for lenses is using both of those plus a specific target-farm lens such as increased chance per rank for axes, or whatever item slot you are targetting

If you are Circle of Fortune then yes, focussing on completing prophecies as much as you can is a good way to get the gear you're looking for, but as you can just save up your favor there is no real downside to just waiting a bit until you know what you want or need

Yeah, Adiozerg is right. It's a Tier 2 dexterity so Rune of Despair has a decent chance of succeeding. It may eat a little bit of forging potential, but it's the best option you have available right now. If the Rune of Despair fails, your Dexterity will upgrade to T3 and you're kind of out of luck at that point. If the Rune of Despair succeeds, Dexterity becomes a Sealed Affix and you can now craft Attunement on the item yourself, since it has an open Prefix slot

I’m COF also and found that sometimes you have to settle with tier 6 affixes, especially when it comes to the +level skill. Also having like 10 exalted items with the tier 7 affix you want, start trying your RNG by using glyphs chaos, rune of removal, or sealing affixes. to see if one of the items will have enough forging potential to give you the affixes and tiers you wanted. Always make sure a glyph of hope is equipped if the crafting allows it

We’ve all been there unfortunately. What I try to do is slam tier 6 to 1LP, tier 7 to 2LP, tier 7 + tier 5 with strong defensive layer, or flex in armor shred / frailty to a 3LP. Use idols to help fill in the gaps. Hopefully this is achieved after a few rounds of crafting. Then I start focusing on slamming 2LP with a tier 7 + tier 5 that I want. Keep all legendary gear because you might have to exchange for defensive layer. Don’t get too discouraged landing a 2LP slam is the most difficult thing in the game with a 1/6 chance of success.

Also changing view point of looking at 3LP as needing to farm 5-10 million favor to get what the drop you want

Up to you. Gaze starts getting diminishing returns after two, example: 1 +10, 2 +20, 3 +27, 4 +31, 5 +35, etc

For the Multistrike tree on Sentinal, the Smite node on the top left doesn't proc on the target you're hitting with Multistrike. You can walk away and use Multistrike and it will hit a target in the proximity of you, but when the actual attack hits the target Smite will not hit the main target. Intended?

Monoliths allows you to target Idols pretty fast, along with if you are CoF (SSF) having prophecies to drop idols like mad + you have Idol Blessings from Monolith Bosses.

If the last boss is too hard, go bonk some Monoliths.

Get some levels and go back. The last boss gives you +1 to all Attributes and should not be skipped for too long.

Honestly I stopped picking up Legendary / Uniques unless I need them unless they have 2+ LP or I don't already have a "master copy". Yeah so Legendary Potential means that in Temporal Sanctum you can fuse it with an Exalted Piece of the same class of item to gain X amount of its stats added to that Unique, where X is the number of Legendary Potential (I.E. 1 LP = 1 stat line, ect).

Slamming is the process of making that Unique with LP into a finished Legendary.

Use Mana Strike.

Spellblade has builds that are extraordinarily Mana Hungry (mainly shatter strike. The loop is you shatter strike until out of Mana then Mana Strike to gain it all back, and repeat). Mana Strike helps your sustain by giving you Mana when it hits enemies and the skill tree for Mana Strike can help it return even more Mana. Mana Strike on Spellblade is a staple!
