We have tried 2 now, and both times we get through the first couple of areas, but when we arrive near the boss, my friend crashes (I'm party leader) and can't rejoin/ gets teleported under the map. @potent arch no, but there are some very powerful ward stacking options out there. Exsang + Last Steps of the Living + the gloves Experimental Life -> Ward setup with a high health pool gives a lot of ward. Boneclamor Barbute with a ton of necro res gives a lot of ward.

@subtle fjord you also can't trade. If you're in CoF you can only gift items to friends / use resonance with friends. So if you want to trade, do MG.

@buoyant ingot what runemaster build are you doing? I tried Hyrdahedron and the passive in Frost Wall, Prepared Wards, that casts Flame Ward when you went through Frostwall made it so I had Flame Ward up a lot of the time.

@crimson loom i think it's bugged, i'm stuck at 11/20 as well. but it doesn't really do anything. before 1.0 i only ever bothered to get that to 20/20 on one character.

even non exalt could be better than what you're using right now, your high tier roll is mana and regen but thats not the stat you really needed on your weapon. Use loot filter, recolor if base = crystal wand, has affix crit multiplier / inc (your elemental) damge / inc spell damage. pick up those and try to craft it to your liking

Hello all, I have a farming question. I’m level 99 and farming 100 to 250 corruption monoliths, and looking for Odachi 2 handed sword. They are almost never dropping. Is it because the item level is lower than the higher tier 2 handed swords, and if so do I need to farm lower level content?

@true matrix Golden resonance lets you gift any normal, magic, rare, set, or unique item. Obsidian resonance lets you gift exalted and Legendary items. No but it's complicated on what works best. Higher corruption = more items dropping, but you have to account for how fast you can clear an echo at that corruption too. Faster clear also = more items

there's a "Spell Critical Strike Chance" on the Character sheet, Damage tab, on the left under the regular Crit chance. I'm not sure how accurate it is, though.

@dim verge no, it's a boss only drop from the Shade at 50+ Corruption, you might as well just farm for it in Empowered.

@olive owl whatever you want to do! if you want to buy/sell items and trade, do Merchant's Guild. If you don't like trading, do Circle of Fortune. They made it like that so people can do whatever they want.

@lavish abyss after doing the 3x level 90 monoliths, walk back along the path to the area in the middle of the 3x level 90s. interact with the thing in the middle. if you can't interact with it try: restarting the game, doing an echo in one of those 3x level 90s and then walking back to it, or warping between the monoliths and walking back that the middle area.

I have the bar all the way up tp 500. The first diamond for the quest in available but I don't know what to do or where to go to advance. Any help would be appreciated.

Do the quests on the left side. In regular you do the two pre-quests on the left, then the third one on the left is the boss. Later, in Empowered, you can go straight to the boss by clicking the quest on the left.

hello - been getting very bad FPS spikes in mono. From normal 60-80 fps then sudden drop to 10-15 for 1-2 seconds before it bounces back to the usual FPS. It is beyond annoying and not a pleasant experience. Are there any fix out there?

@wanton hatch You can slap Exsang and Last Steps of the Living on most builds. Twisted Heart needs Necrotic Spell or Elemental Spell. So maybe look for builds that are using those types of skills.

@halcyon holly It is a rare Helmet - global drop, you can play with the Rune of Ascendance simulator to get a general idea https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/ascsim. You can make the Wolf version of the build and it will do ok. But you may want to first wait until you actually have the Helmet to make the build, up to you.

@indigo lynx No. On that screen where you put in the dungeon key, it lists on the left what is the highest required item level that dungeon tier can craft. If it's a low required level Unique, you can do LP3 in T1.

@dim verge Yes, the Prophecies just drop the global items. You can think of them like the special echo rewards or Rune of Ascendance type of things. Although you get way more LP items out of them.

Gamers I seem to have a bugged, incompletable side quest. In act 2 I did the Erza's Ledger quest, but somehow I still have the other quest "Artem's Offer" which is unable to be completed because the item you need to turn in to finish it was already turned in for Erza's Ledger. both. another good tip - make sure you have a good filter of course. but ealry-mid, if you get a decent item that has an empty suffix, just craft the needed res and Glyph of Hope spam it as high as you can.

Early on you'll want void res capped. By your first mono you'll want necrotic and phys capped.

@lavish abyss it's designed that you can do what you enjoy. If you like buying/selling items and trading, do Mechant's Guild. If you don't like trading, doing Circle of Fortune. You can also switch, if you don't like what you picked.

No, easiest way to.manage that is to get elemental resistance instead of specific one of them to balance the resistance of fire cold lighitning, necro and physical from bone amulet and some affix, void from blessing and some affix, poison get from affix etc

@twin wyvern most of the Lich builds I've played use Death Seal. I've tried Rip Blood, Marrow Shards, and Hungering Souls. They all play somewhat similar, with Marrow Shards being the most different as you kind of needed to aim where it hits. Thankfully, it's pretty easy to respec between them. So see which one you like best.

From the in game guide, G key -> search for Corruption:

Corruption increases item rarity, experience gained, monster health, monster damage and how much Timeline Stability echoes give.

Corruption also increases area level in standard timelines, and increases the rarity of guaranteed echo rewards in empowered timelines. Corruption also has very slightly increases the odds of unique items having Legendary Potential or Weaver's Will.

@upbeat elm if you can get your resists close to the 75% cap, that will help. 1500-2000+ Health probably, the more the better. Honestly moving fast helps a ton. If you stand around, you're going to probably die. Also get additional defensive stuff, Armor, %Endurance if you're doing Health, or Ward if you're not, etc etc

Using idol slots for resists is pretty normal and usually people keep a stash tab just for idols so they can move them around as needed any time they change gear. Also look for passives on your passive tree that add resists, this can help a lot too. You can access every passive tree for your class, not just your mastery tree, so check them all.

@thorny tapir Yes. Open up the Skills page, default S key. Mouse over one of your skills. See the scaling tags listed on them? If it says Spell, then Spell Damage improves it. If it says Fire, Cold, or Lightning, then Elemental Improves it. If it says something like both Spell and Fire, then both Spell and Elemental would improve it. Again, Elemental improves Fire, Cold, and Lightning.

"elemental" is just referring to anything that's either fire, cold or lightning. "spell" is anything that's tagged as a "spell", if you hold alt and mouse over the skill, you can see if it has a spell tag. If it does, it'll get improved with spell damage.

Base crit chance is generally 5%. Any increases are multiplicative, not additive. 100% increased crit chance brings it to 10% chance. You may find passives that are additive and sometimes will say "base" crit chance, those are the fastest means of increasing crit.

i find the dungeons arent the greatest for rewards, monos are the best. dungeons are for special situations, like lightless is for using shitton of gold, soulfire is for gambling, temporal is for making legendaries

They're different. Soulfire lets you gamble and you pick which item type you want to gamble for. Lightless has that door and you throw gold at it to get better rewards, and you can pick mods that can help you get different rewards.

For Rogue, there's stuff like "Melee Damage Leeched as Health" you can put on melee weapons and gloves. Or "Lightning Damage And Leech" that you can put on Scepters. But that's just Melee Damage or just Lightning Damage. Again Bleeding Heart is ALL damage. I'm just guessing that's why it's being used in the build. I haven't played that build. edit: it's probably been 2 years at this point, but back when Poison was busted I had a Poison stacking Rogue that used Bleeding Heart to leech off the Poison DoT.

The only downside is that you will have to re-grind from rank 1 in your new faction and lose unspent favor so if you are CoF 5 and switch to MG you'll be rank 1. Your Health is very, very low. At the point you're at, look for the flat +Health Affix. Later you can focus on %Health and Hybrid Health. Try to get either Crit Avoid or Reduced Crit Damage to 100%.

You see Billy, when you beat up the boss, the Gaze goes up. When you fight the Shade, you get bonus Corruption. Can you say Core-up-shun? Good job Billy! But watch out, if you die while fighting the Shade, you lose that Gaze bonus. Edit: sorry if that wasn't 5 year old level. Let me know and I'll try to do better.

There's 2 bosses. The timeline boss you fight by raising the stability and pushing the quest on the left. Then there's the Shade of Orobyss boss you fight by going out to the edges of the echo web. Fighting the Shade increases Corruption. Fighting the timeline boss gives Gaze, which gives bonus Corruption.

Higher Corruption earns increased Stability, so you'd be able to fight the boss faster. Edit: I don't know how much it effects the boss drops.

@woven patio that's a pretty hard one to answer since there are so many stats in the game. I'd say by the time you unlock them you can try them and see how it feels. They will be hard at first but the better loot makes you stronger faster

@woven patio sometimes you also get really crappy modifiers to the echos that wreck you. You might need to try a different monolith if one is giving you too much trouble rn. Crit avoidance can help a lot too

Yes, buying or selling items will give them the MG tag but dropping the items by yourself shouldn't be tagged since MG has no magic find boosts. Also notably the soul gambler in the soulfire bastion gives untagged items that can be used by both factions

This game lets you go into negative mana. At which point your out of mana and can't cast a spell until it regens back into positive. That sounds like it helps you get back into positive faster.

@signal ether No, Experimental Affix is only from the Exiled Mages. Or crafted by Glyph of Insight - which you can randomly get from using Rune of Research from the Exiled Mages.

@stray hamlet That particular item is a global drop, so you can get it from anywhere, including Rune of Ascendance. If you want to "target farm" for addtional drop chances, you can do the Spirits of Fire timeline that may have echo rewards that give a random Unique/Set Boots - extra drop chances.

if you change faction, you loose ALL faction favor. so, keep that in mind.

@weak pasture Make a loot filter, and add affixes you are looking for in your build / high tier generally good affixes. You can also add for other builds you may have, but keep int mind this will only increase your visible loot drops.

@simple hatch Likely different cycles. If one is on Legacy server, and another is on Cycle, itll say that.

@mental mountain Didnt check, but it's basically always affixes. Exalted are likely given more leniency to show since you can shatter them for more shards.

Generally yeah, but it rly depends on your setup. There are other options for defenses, but if your build doesn't have those, then using t6/7 affixes for defenses isnt the end of the world.
Generally though, yes you use em for offensives.

Dont fight a bunch of enemy face to face, apply hit and run strategy. Adjust your gear for resistance if necessary when fight gets really hard for you. Update your gear often as you progress

Yes. Frailty is not something you need a super high % on since it caps at 3 stacks, but if you are inflicting bleed, frostbite, poison etc. which can have unlimited stacks, the higher % chance the better

after spending quite a long time debugging I solved my issue. At least for me with 6800XT AMD's Enhanced Sync is broken in Last Epoch, it causes random lock ups in the game and after I turned Enhanged Sync off the game works perfectly. Is there any series 6000 AMD user who is using succesfully Enhanced Sync in the game, I am just curious if the issue is only with my PC or with drivers/game? Not that I want to debug the issue anymore- Ijust wanna play 😄

I would look into aspect of the boar from beastmaster tree if you haven't, also try to bring your endurance up to 60% is generally worth it as a life based build. Res cap and 2k hp is solid
