Can complete the quest in empowered afaik. (if not that's unfortunate)

Could be your modifiers. Right side of screen. Could also have higher crit rate vs non 100% crit avoid.

feels like 25% chance the boss door actually opens then I get killed and have to try again but most of the time the boss door will not open and i just lose a key due to a bug so i'm waiting on that getting fixed.

Endurance question: Say my current HP is 1000, my endurance threshold is 500 with 50% reduction, and an enemy hits me for 900 damage. Will it ignore my endurance be ignored entirely and i'll be left with 100 HP, or will the first 500 damage apply normally, then the remaining 400 damage will be affected by a 50% reduction (as its below threshold) and i'll instead take 700 damage and be left with 300 HP?

What you are thinking of in your example is what happens. It applies to any damage that goes under your threshold, even if the hit happened while above threshold.

Obviously in game the math is far more complicated because of overlapping defenses but you've got the idea. And yeah. Endurance is one of the defenses that literally everything other than ward builds uses because you're basically throwing if you don't.
Gotcha. My VK is 3600 HP, 70-75% all resists, 45% dmg reduction from armor, and extra 15% dmg reduction from titan's body armor. I guess getting my endurance % up would be the next logical step

in those cases it could be useful to be over 75, but I think you end up wasting affixes on your items for those special cases

Not sure what you mean by chaining. You can't have multiple blessings from one timeline active, you just have to keep killing the boss till you get the one you want.

you complete the 3 level 90 timelines and then you can unlock empowered which are all level 100
when u complete all 3 level 90 mono, the middle island allows you to empower these mono to run again

if your spell is all lightning added one will be lightning

It doesn't reset, you choose the tier you want to do when you put a key in. They are per character though.

recently play a acolyte for 5 hrs !! level 22 and loving it! i love every skill has a sub skill tree that is not that generic and hard like POE. keep it up!. and i do hope to see alot of different skin in golems if you are focus on flame golem over all an amazing game. amazing class.

ward is just volatile health. damage goes first to ward and anything left goes to hp
that says, you can get oneshot with 2k ward and 1.2k hp if the damage is that high
iirc you can start monoliths the moment you reach end of time
you will probably struggle, since you are about lv 20-30 for a lvl 58 region, but hey, nobody is telling you what to do.
and once you know the story, where to go, how the maps typically are layout, you can predict paths and go even faster through the story.

idk about averages, my first char was 10 hours to reach end of time (which was the end of the story when I started LE),
my second char was, I think 20 hours, since I really was eager to find alll dead ends in all maps before finding the exit.

Is there a setting, either in game or in OS, which allows for pressing key to override the one already pressed, e.g. my left/right mouse button is pressed for auto-attacks or Rive or whatever, and I press a keyboard button for a skill which I want to be cast, override auto-attack and still continue with auto-attacks without releasing the mouse click. I have exactly the same issue. Ryzen 7 5800H with rtx 3060. Used to get constant 100+ fps on ultra. Now even on low I have this silly down spikes with fps and gpu usage jump to 100%.
Nothing works - limiting fps to 60, exclusive full screen etc.
I came back after a year with 0.9 patch and it's unplayable.
Noob questions:
- is it useful to collect regular and magic items (white and purple items)?
- can you salvage those for materials?
- if so, how?

You can salvage magic, rare, and exalted items for materials using rune of shattering or rune of removal in the forge (F)
I use the shadow daggers one^^
Materials being shards of the affixes on that item
Youb dont wanna spam runes of shattering though, gets very expensive quickly
Yeah, I'd only shatter/remove affixes that you really want to craft - or just rare ones like +levels and penetration

Shattering/removing magic items can be very useful. Really, magic items are better for removals since those hit one random affix (and magic items have 1 or 2 only, gives you better odds)

Nope. That's intentional. Each class has a few ways to manage mana and they want you to use them because they see mana as a resource and not a problem to be solved like in PoE.

Well, warpath isn't a spell
But on things that are actual spells it would just consider the initial start of the channel

@cedar locust I believe you can guess from the way of how I formulated it I had no idea it's a thing, nor that it has a name... in my mind, it was as simple as: the game should allow me for two buttons to be pressed at the same time, e.g. allow to cast one skill over another. Sort of very simple.

I believe the game already does this? I was playing a Void Knight "bomber" and would just hold down the keys for Devouring Orbs and Anomaly while running around. It would just cast them as they came off cooldown
The stuff that Averielle was referring to was the auto casting with NumLock. It was discussed during a live stream
there are many abilities that are procced by other abilities
but for skills that dont cant you just press the two buttons at the same time yourself? of course if they have animations you cant sue both at the same time cause you have to use one then the other
If they have cooldowns, you can definitely just hold the two buttons and they'll be used as they come off cooldown
I haven't tried it for skills without cooldowns
just tried myself. Not every skill auto uses after cd. Rogue's decoy didnt for me at least but Shift and Smoke bomb did
I believe skills with cast times cant be numlocked, but I could be wrong there. not home to check
I do like their take on it though, that if people want to NumLock a skill that it's a design issue and needs to be adjusted

you would need to use a glyph of despair on one of the resistances
higher tier affixes are harder to seal with a glyph of despair but those are low tier so you sohuld be fine

Yes. You could instead think of it as the enemies have no bonus physical damage against you.
Enemies get +1% resistance penetration per area level, up to 75. It's not as punishing as in something like PoE though, if you're a little short on a resistance.

Every 2 points of Corruption gives you +1% of increased: item rarity, experience, enemy health, and enemy damage.
Empowered is base 100 Corruption, so a base of +50% of all of those.

No. Legendaries require same base type
There's a "catch up" mechanic when you kill Orobyss near the edges. You'll see a bonus corruption listed, which is based on the highest Corruption you have on any monolith.
So if you get high corruption in one, it'll be faster to raise it in others.

long ago there was a trick to get the drop you wanted from the boss in monoliths, something like die when u kill the boss and the drop is not what you want then you get to kill it again since you died?

But being a global drop, you can get it from anywhere

It's this listed at the bottom. Showing that this particular monolith/timeline can have Unique/Set Body Armor node rewards. You've still got to find the echoes with that reward and run them.

When I'm doing Fall of the Outcasts echoes, I get a lot of Decayed Skull drops, but in in echoes I've probably only seen one drop.

so if you're farming a unique you go to the timeline that gets echoes that drop that unique. it's still a global drop.

i would recommend runes of removal for rare affixes like + lvl of skills and hybrid health
shattering is a roll, removal just gives you the tier of affix as shards

That's how I'd originally have understood it, but I do see how that'd be extremely powerful so maybe it's just that the Zap stuff doesn't matter and now it only does LBs
A bit like with the Tornado nodes giving you more chance to double cast, but then the next node that attaches it to you removes the double cast chance

It's not worth farming anything corruption related in normal monos. And you shouldn't struggle much with baseline empowered at level 89

u have a 24% chance of double and then again a 25% chance to quadruple man
double roll 24% and then if 25% are quadruple
with cast speed you can overlap it a LOT and cast many LBs in less than a second. it's one of the best ST skills in the game for a reason
yeah lightning blast is great single target damage, you often see it paired with another skill like static orb for clear and lightning blast used for bosses

Does it have any effect on forks instead of chains and,
am I reading it correctly that only the bonus dmg from the frontloaded node itself is reduced on further chains?
with it forking instead of chaining all the time for me, i wonder if the negative of frontloaded is even involved? like is there a primary fork or are they all getting full bonus right off
100% specualtion i would say the first for gets reduced like the first chain then the second set of forks like the second chain

if the smaller attacks are one shotting you then your character is too weak
im trying to do lagon to get an item to roll a tankier build but this is sadge
you should be able to just respawn and come back to the boss fight.

DoT wuld be more beneficial if u also did e.g. poison but phys is better if u also use other phys shit

I have Summon Skeletal Mage with Pyromancers specced, the skills says it adds Pyromancers to the pool of summons. However, if I have no Skeletal Mages up I randomly get Pyromancers or regular Mages. After some play I end up with 5 Pyromancers and I never get a Skeletal Mage again, is this intended or a bug?
I stood there with 5 Pyromancers up casting the spell and I only got extra Pyromancers
Sounds like you may have picked up some nasty enemy modifier, that's not natural
although zerrick does cover a lot of the screen normally, it's just something you have to avoid

I do not, if I start out casting I get an equal mix of regular mages and pyromancers. After a while some mages die, I resummon and I always eventually end up with nothing but pyromancers

its been 15 hours since i last found an upgrade. Is this just how it is once you're pushing for bis ? all monos are around 250 corruption. Should I just run dungeons or something? monos dont seem too good for upgrades anymore
I think it depends on what gear you're going for, are you looking for exalted items? Or LP gear

well LA if you have a lot of gold. You can farm exalts from Sanctum too. Check both doors to hit specific type exalt drops.
250 isn't crazy high for empowered, you can definitely go higher for more drops, that and are you aware of how to "craft" the monolith tree

300 is about the "cap" for it as afterwards it becomes a lot of diminishing returns

Hmm, I"m not sure where to continue the main story quest. I'm supposed to Speak with Alrich in the Maj'elka Waystation, but when I go there I don't see anyone to speak to, the map says the waypoint is locked. What am I supposed to do, how can I fix this?

@rustic fulcrum By "crafting" I mean completing the monoliths you want, leaving ones you don't want uncompleted, then you use a reroll reward monolith, finally, you revert all completed ones (by completing the monolith that reverts the tree) after you take a screenshot of the map, then you rinse and repeat.
If a unique has 1 legendary potential, does that mean when you slam it, it will take one affix from the exalted? and if it had 3 potential, it would take 3?

and i assume once you do it, the unique loses its potential
It becomes a legendary, and legendaries can't have legendary potential
