tbh i think its a bad relic, but +32 necrotic to melee attacks (and spells but again... better relics out there for that) is a lot more powerful than you think... additionally, all the "on potion use" effects pair well with being in melee range and taking hits more often. otherwise id recommend not using it at all if you were almost nay other build

My understanding is... Up to 75% (resistes max).... you take that % less of that element... so if your hit with 100 fire damage, and you have 50 fire resistance... you would only take 50 fire damage.... Once you get to 75 your maxed. Most builds just max each resistance.

Now if enemies have resistance pen... well thats a whole new ball game

Once you have all your passive point and idol slot rewards, You will only get xp and gold for doing the other ones.

That said, if you do not complete all quests in the game every time you play, I'm not sure how you live with yourself

That means there are echoes whose specific rewards are unique or set wands or catalysts. These have a higher chance to spawn with higher corruption, so it's better to farm them in empowered and far away from the center of the web.

Pretty sure Smoke Weaver is the rarest item in that pool to boot. Go grab unique drop rate blessing and dagger drop rate blessing to have some better odds passively while you target the nodes.

Yes just path in a line out from the center so u get more stability then kill the timeline boss for bonus corruption when you kill Orobyss

Regular shadow cascade + synchronised strike crit dual wield should still be fine right?
I am comparing it to mcfluffin's shadow daggers with bastion.
Technically i have much more dmg, but thats irrelevant, lets talk defenses.
I lose bastion, and i lose 9% DR from dual wield, but i gain one skill slot, so i can fit in shuriken + shift for 150% perma increased armor, and with offhand sword i can have 60% increased dodge suffix. So yea, 1 shot EHP decreases a lot, but overall EHP stays similar

Nop, was using the closest dummies. But why would it make a difference, I was using same dummy to test damage from both weapons. Will retest now just to be sure.

As for not being not far off enough - going from 31k to 38k is a ~22.5% increase. Does seem far off from what it should be.

For sure, I health and resist are your friend for sure. idols can help flex resistance until you get better gear/ monolith buffs. Putting on resist gear just for the fight might not be a bad idea too if you are really stuck. Max resist at 75% can really change how a fight feels.
