Dots have always been kinda better, especially cause you can apply them then move around to dodge. THats also why minions are good, they do the job for you

They respect the Shurikens passive skill tree, if you have them orbiting, they will orbit you also if cast from Shift for example

Most people who take the orbiting shurikens is because they cast them with shift, and they get 5 shurikens around them shredding phys resistance and armour while moving

Depends on your preference.. on my Bladestorm shadow dagger character i used that and it kinda helped while bossing, cause you throw the bladestorm and they attack the enemy for you while you move in and shred the resistances, while also dodging... if you want to cast them manually sure! it works

idk the exact formula but just in the past few days my bonus corruption has been well over 100 some times

it does definitely scale with distance from the center of the web the same way normal corruption does

i think if you had to pick one that scales better in the very long term i'd say bladedancer but they're both definitely viable and they do have different play styles so i'd just pick what looks cooler to you

So, for the last 3 days, I've been battling some sort of issue not allowing me to create an account within the game. I make it to the title screen, where I'm meant to enter the display name I want. Upon entering it, I keep getting the error code "LE-51". I've tried multiple user name variations, made sure my drivers were up to date, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, reset my wifi/pc, and have been in repetitive back and forth with support. As of my last ticket submitted last night at around 10pm, I have not heard back from them, even upon submitting a new ticket. I know this is a novel and a half, and I'm sorry for the read, but have any of you run into this issue/know a way to fix it before I request a refund? I really don't want to, because I want to give this game a go, but at this point, I'd rather put my money to another game and try again another time if I can't figure it out now. Thanks in advance.

Next time you join, as soon as you try to join him/her, open a command prompt (assuming this is a PC and not a Mac), and type "netstat -ano | findstr -i syn" - see if there are sockets with a status of SYN_SENT - if so, its definitely a firewall/router issue blocking your traffic

I might be wrong but that might've been the case that you have not had any waypoint unlocked so the game couldnt put you anywhere else but the start of the game (tho i havent tested that scenario myself), not that you have your first waypoint it shouldnt be a worry anymore

Really depends on if you can stack enough dodge rating to have good dodge and supplement GB with constant dusk shroud stacks.
As for stun resist... don't get hit. Because stun avoidance is a shit affix that doesn't actually do anything other than take up space.

Put item in forge, click the + icons to add affixes to empty slots (you can have 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes), click arrows to upgrade affixes already on it. Each craft takes forging potential. Upgrading and adding affixes takes one crafting shard of that affix each time you upgrade it.

focus on these things:

1. damage - invest into one damage type
   How to scale damage early?, priority order:
   -base damage(like flat damage from weapons) and skill tree
   -increases damage (like increased fire damage, increased melee damage etc)
   -cast speed/attack speed / penetration
   -shred(not important early)
2. If you have giga damage, you won't need much defenses, especially if you are ranged. If you are melee, well then just take high health high armor/dodge pieces and craft res on them.

I'm fundamentally not understanding something about Spark Charge with Mana Strike and Fragment. I have a Fragment with 71% more damage from melee attacks (so a low roll) and I'm using Mana Strike to apply spark charges. I'm level 62 and I'm at the dummy. Fragment makes Spark Charge get +2 added damage for every 1 int. My gear is generally pretty trash otherwise, but I think that's even more in support of my argument. I should be seeing better numbers, I think. I have 78 intelligence, 255% increased lightning damage, and 93% increased spell damage. My spark charge explodes on a dummy at champions gate for below 500 fairly frequently. Am I crazy or is that silly low? I don't even think that should be possible. Just on the math alone, shouldn't the damage be (20+(78*2)) base damage 176 * 7.6 (255% lightning, 93% spell, 312% int, 100% for base damage) * 1.71 (71% more from fragment), so 176 * 7.6 * 1.71 = 2287. I don't know how the range is calculated, but with that as the base calculation, I feel like <500 is a bit silly.
