Your dialogue choices have no impact on the campaign. Once you get into monoliths, there's a couple spots where the dialogue choices give you a different path, but it tells you before you select it and can go back and pick the other. Or just redo it to get both paths unlocked.

Thanks @candid elm , I was just under the impression that certain diaogue options might change the story mentioned and/or the text in the quest log. For example if you choose "Rat City" as the diaogue option in an earlier quest instead of the other option. But I dont really know

Are you hit or DoT? If hit, yeah armor shred is good. It has diminishing returns and effectively caps at like 110 stacks or something stupid like that, but if you're a hit build it's always good to have.
