700-800 felt ideal for like everything... 1k is nice, but didnt find it any better even when the build was deleting everything anyway... and higher than that, its just testing the limit, farming it at a serious lvl feels like a waste

honestly this was the first season i wanted to go hgher corr because of the ridiculos amount of favor i needed. I was farming 10-12k per 1-2 min on 1100 rune prison and it still wasnt enough for me
because of the corruption on MG? 😄

i had no issues with browsing prophesies this season it was quite fast tbh
i didnt need havocs that much because i was slamming any of multi\inc\bow AS\bow flat crit and its easier to redeption those then havoc
One of the roadmaps mentioned some improvements for CoF in 1.5, so we'll see If we get something or everything gets changed 3 times again 😄
they need at least 2 QoL
- First that I don't need to mouse over the prophecies to see what they are.
- Have a button to reroll prophecies
With that I would hate it at least 50% less

I made two suggestions some time ago... one where you could see what prophecies you have on the side while rolling them so you dont have to monkey around, going out into factions to check what you have... and second to be able to sort the prophecies you picked by their goal, so you dont have to check every single prophecy to see what you gotta do... buuuut unless its actually in 1.5 update, it got ignored like 99.9% of other suggestions 😄
well, there's so many suggestion they can consider. some do get implemented 😄
what honestly I would love to see in 1.5 is just this mega powercreep over old skills
but that's too much work to expect. but many of the old skills need complete node revamp
yeah i was feelinп like an actual harvester in rune prisons... with movement rend i just go in, hold rend and do the circle on the "field" harvesting 5 "crops" and go to the next "field". Rend movement animation also suit it well 
multishot does ir way worse sadly
rend cascade allows to open all 5 simultaniusly while dishing out dps on all 5 locations from lingering shadows

Cant say I enjoyed the movement of Rend that much... sure its good, just feels weird doing the tic-tac-tic-tac movement 😄 DS feels smooth aaaand I really wish more skills will become instant use without you stopping in place to use them... so I could run and just self cast shurikens

well you really can push through stuff that annoys me easily. that's why I'm saying it. I get bored super quickly, and it makes me enjoy life in general less

LE should be careful reallly. We currently have at least 3 RNG phases to get to our "perfect" item.
First you need a good LP with a good rolls
Second you need a good slam
Third you need a corruption
i ended up with 65+ 1lp drelkors that ended up with a second affix after corruption, and from those 65 only 1 was shuri
i didnt even count ones that didnt get an affix
yeah shuri seems super rare. I also only got it once and it's this one T5. I ahve I think around 30 Gathering Fury's

And it's not only for bow and quiver. Getting soulgambler on cof is terrible too. I farmed 26 echoes for soulgambler and bought all amulets from them and ended up with exactly 1(!) amulet
While again you can just buy those on mg for a laughable price
And I can't farm both embers and favor fast at the same time sadly
yeah. and every time you get new affixes it dilutes the chances of getting the right exalt. so each new affix basically nerfs CoF. while on MG, you want "melee attack speed", just browse buy. They need a way that you can guarantee an affix as well in CoF. It's a MUST.

with frenzy on traversal t7 razors it became much better combined with frenzy efficiency from them + worlds
yeah i liked it overall more than rend cascade
but rend cascade is better at clearing omens and rune prison
this one is better for regular monos

Potentially rend multishot can dish out a lot more of those but I couldn't find a somewhat easy a way to feel it good and after going through all those cof farming struggle to even get started with bow shuri I was already drained to explore and experiment more with it

HS would probably be better for a more ranged playstyle, no? Multishot kinda requires shotgunning which is great with blade shield, but if I wanted to try ranged shurikens hs is probably better I'm guessing
Multishot shuriken is kinda busted for mapping and bossing more than hearthseeker variant
Overall multishot is still a crap skill ,rend multishot is crap compared to rend cascade but multishot shuriken is busted kinda funny that marksman best build is a shuriken or throwing build not bow

I just meant specifically if you wanted to play at range rather than shotgun/bladeshield shuri. Like with the shurikens all going in a line node
Yeah you wouldn't use blade shield at all for mapping you just get that for bossing like uber
Multishot has better clear ty to its 17 arrows
With multishot you shoot a pack of 10 enemies and launch like 5 shuri instantly in the fan pattern, with hs you shoot them, launch maybe one right away, and maybe 1-2 more with a slight delay on the same target
Puncture on kill somewhat helps but it's still worse then multishot
I wish LE had like a build save, where you can swap between them. Meaning like skill templates. This scenario is especially underlined with Shuriken. You want Chakrma for clear and Shield for bossing. Maybe even Line can be good for some scenarios.

That was basically a reason why I stopped using razors on throwing rend cascade
When swapping to tabis the points are messed up
So I started to use charions instead that can be safely swapped with tabis for bosses
But then I ended up with wither oveecapped or under capped res because charions give all res
It's not a big deal but still unpleasant
Also 1m gold to swap a mastery on cof is a bit too much considering the stash tabs costs
I had to do it 2 times and it had a terrible impact on my stash
yeah. I only switched on lower level, so it was not much, around ~200 at I think lvl70

At this point I don't even think they should be trying to fix balance because clearly they doesn't have a vision. Better focus on things they do good like new content or whatever
I mean just look at umbrals... Infinite scaling for crit multi for recall, infinite scaling of inc damage from omen boosted idols, doppel to further boost the infinite scaling, rend and tabi to further boost the infinite scaling, and flow to double it at the end. Anyone who played a game even a bit from a glance should be seeing how this is not going to end up okay
To be fair we had a glimpse of brilliance being HS in 1.2 where the new skill ended up both super good mechanically and fairly well balanced but overall yeah it's not going great
I'd say it's not "stronger" than zhp ballista or recall umbrals but it's definitely somewhere out there. The gameplay and clear is amazing I'd dare to say

1.2 HS was so much fun
Tbf it still is, just so many other builds are a lot better which is sad. HS still feels like the premium spot for balance in terms of gearing, damage, and survivability
And it didn't become any worse, it's gotten much better with corruptions and new idol setups, but if anything it got power crept out by shurikens... Which I probably don't mind that much either
I never realized until trying to gear melee DA that rogue has 1(one!!) cold melee skill... and it's a marksman skill 😭😭😭

I kinda hate how many throwing skills are on rogue. Shurikens, Acid Flask, Decoy, Bladestorm, Umbral Blades, Smoke Bomb, Explosive Trap, Net... that's a hell of a lot of skills that don't scale with any particular weapon type. Granted 2 or 3 are just utility but still...

If you dont have phys resist shred from anything else, then yea, its good to have... armor shred is pretty much for hits meanwhile phys res shred can also work for bleed damage since bleed is physical

Well unless its dedicated bleed build, then the bleed damage is pretty much not important 😄 it just exists there for you to get the crit multi from Jormun bonus

Any hit you do has a chance to apply the shred, its same like any other ailment

I think it’s that the levelling experience in the game is really good

LE has more unique scalings, like offensive stats can scale on resistance stacking, mana stacking, and some more, in GD it's all the same. That makes builds more interesting for me in LE

but i like creating builds somewhat, and for me thats more enjoyable in LE

you need 3 affixes in armor to have the 3 mana scaling there: "added mana", "increased mana", "increased mana and current mana as ward"
we got corrption gamba for this now 
the last affix is corruption
and you also need some affix for defense

We were talking about the Devs balancing an item around have 2LP be the max it can have, so they have two choices. Just disable the item being able to drop an LP above 2 or make it so it’s still technically possible but very, very rare. They opted for the latter.

my ideas would be
-- revive imprints
-- make omen drop more usefull stuff (there is nothing you can do with the corrupted gear they drop once you re in lategame)
-- fix idolfarming 0 it's a pain
-- add shatter mechanic for corrupted items (you would still need to corrupt loot to get the affix to need, and play to apply it) - or do anything to make the corruption gamba not that gamba anymore
Nemesis was strong last season, this season it's the only way to get good gear in the endgame... reminds me of Tier 0 kinda strenght for certain metas in other games, can't be healty xd
People dont know how hard it is to craft stuff even with imprints like thy think is an easy free handout like yeah you dont see all the hours invested specially to make a 3 lp item slammed if you think I can just make perfect affixes and slam that on any gear in like a couple hours ,yeah that aint happening

Never played poe 1 for me seems to convoluted but poe 2 I can understand fine ,may 29 new league comes and if you look at what they did is like 3 -4 leagues in 1 in terms of content,progress,crafting,and endgame, would be nice if there performance gets improved but many of us in my cof group are gonna be blasting poe 2

No not really. Melee has 300% dam eff instead of 200% for throw, but you will lose 2/3 of aoe tho
And you will lose umbral damage entirely too
I swapped some stuff around for mapping... this is why you gotta tweak the Maxroll builds

I took cold conversion off umbral to spec into recall nodes, since I get the chill chance from explosive trap... is that worth? Also grabbed 2 points in the crit multi per blade, does that work with shift recall umbrals?
I haven't played the fire variant, but I suggest looking into targeting corruptions on cheap slots (rings, gloves, dagger) and focusing all your idols on damage. Including the altar.

HoA is really good, sure it’s not rend but it’s still quite strong, has good options for tankiness and can do all content
If you're willing to spend enough time gearing it... sure, its okay... or you can make shuriken corruption marksman with whatever bow+quiver with the corruption, stack crit and throw damage and its ezpz life
i mean hoa can do uber on 1lp gear without too much difficulty, even 0lp bow/quiver for shuriken is more annoying to farm than any piece for hoa. shurikens does outscale it damage wise, but it’s also reliant upon hitting 2 corruptions to even have a functional build

Every gear slot should have at least one primordial unique... maybe even two/three for hit/dot/minion in the best case... and conversions on skills/items/idols, maybe even blessings, so tons of new builds could be viable everywhere

From my standpoint of view(more casualish one) ehg mage an alternative way to increase your power beyond 1lp. Instead of farming 2lps and double exalts and gamba it all, we can now farm giga amounts of 1lps and corrupt them, which is much a lesser gamba and much smoother gear progression, since you keep 2lps anyway and progress both ways simultaneously. For that some adjustments to imprints were needed, which also makes sense
The sentiment is very simple last epoch has 0 deterministic crafting and imprints were the best exalt acquisition in the game by a long shot now that it doesn't do anything,you cant farm exalts to try whatever crazy idea or build you might wanna do i ain't grinding for t5s at 1.0 sure 2 years later we moving past that ,conquered tower spam is way more boring than unclaimed troves spam

The ceiling in general has risen by a lot with corruptions, and yet people argue that minmax is dead, I don't get the logic at all

For rogue is mostly just Rend... Cascade is strong and Umbrals is just uncapped on like two places, but overall we got corruptions where some weapon corruptions can be huge and altars where some %inc effect of affixes is huge 😄
Rogue also has the advantage of having extremely low roll rng based idols like idk going from 15 to 45 increase its nothing or 4 to 8 for umbrals meanwhile my vk needs 150 and 90 from a 40 to 150 and a 30 to 90 roll kinda bs if you ask me

Corruptions are very useful to max out those pesky rolls. Can rescue quite a bit of the bad drops
Corruptions is very good for LP1 items. And if you hit max rolls on corruptions, that is a very good feeling. But most of the time it's either a "meh" or "screw this" 😄

The best MM build this season relies on hitting the shuriken cast corruption on both Bow and Quiver and is extremely difficult to achieve. Most other marksman builds are going to be able to do higher corruptions but probably not very fast and probably with lots of oneshots

Heartseeker is way less hits than multishot so you're getting way less shurikens. Definitely better to go multishot. And no I think you would still use drelkor's with heartseeker.

Defenses are just dps loss
Maxroll uses firestarter for the "42% more fire damage to enemies inflicted with spreading flames" but that's really only recommended if you have crit chance taken care of. Otherwise, run a sword or dagger with flat crit and melee AS or sometbing

Any tips for playing Flurry with Marksman? I’m new, I’ve only been playing for a week and I’m level 77.
yeah you wont be able to go pass corruption 100 with that defense in the first place to grind for those items.

Flurry is generally a pretty weak skill, mostly just used as a mana generator. If you do want to try it, Trikster has a video from Season 2 where he made a melee flurry version. But Marksman Flurry is pretty underwhelming. I guess if I had to give tips I'd say use like reign of winter or dragonsong for their skill procs since flurry has decent attack speed and hits a lot.
But at that point you're better off playing heartseeker with reign of winter.
I have seen a flurry destroying uber but I think that set up is for bossing no mapping
I’ve been playing Flurry as my main source of damage lately, and I’m absolutely smurfing level 90 echoes. I think it probably falls off in true late game though. I’ll see if I can pivot to Heartseeker later on.
Flurry definitely has damage and more modifiers ,hearthseeker has good clear but bossing aint the best
Nah flurry single target is fine, but clear is really really bad in empowered monos. Maybe I built it wrong for marksman but I don't think there's a way to make it viable as a main damage skill in mid-high corruption.

trying to get "+ throwing damage" on my idols with the weaver enchant, but seems like it's either super rare or im doing it wrong
There's no way to do it wrong, assuming you're using the right idol shape. There's no +throwing damage Weaver enchant though, so that would make it seem pretty rare - unless you are meaning the 2x2 idol % throwing damage enchant or the 4x1/1x4 idol minion +throwing damage enchant, both of which are "common" (just no reduced chance to appear).

There is a +throwing damage corruption for 4x1/1x4 idols (which means it can also be the corrupted affix on 3x1/1x3 omen idols).
It's also a Weaver affix on the 2x1 Weaver idols, but assuming you were trying to get it on class idols so that won't help.
Last I saw, Multishot was doing mediocre unless they buffed it in the last month or two

And there’s one item that’s absolutely core for my build: there’s a ring that makes every third Flurry hit always crit, so I stopped focusing on crit chance % and instead stack crit multiplier, combined with the Flurry node:
1st and 2nd hits deal 25% less damage, but the 3rd hit deals +75% damage.

are you sure runes of corruption are affected by corr at all? i think i was getting rougly the same amount farming omen veils on 100 and 1000+
if you want somewhat safe MM corr climbing experience then its just multishot with shurikens and soulgambler
According to Tunklab, yes it scales with rarity, but only very slightly, scaling from ~112% at 100c and capping at 120%

Why does detonating arrow suck so bad? The tooltip says 118k dps/s (low, I know), but the actual results seem way lower than that
Because detonating has been trash for a really long time and since devs keep destroying every single mechanic that it can do its best to avoid the pain and pick something else
From the daggers ,to explosive trap interaction,to one shot mana stacker , detonating arrow cant be good

Lol in all seriousness it just doesn't have the support that other marksman or rogue skills have. Its unique makes it a melee weapon that takes away all of the bow passives you need to make marksman skills good. It's just awkward, and yeah been nerfed a ton

Well for one thing you switched too early. Maxroll will always tell you to wait till level 70 at the earliest to switch to their endgame guides.
And yeah... I mean you're missing a lot of gear. Why exactly can't you swap back to the leveling build?

You need to go back, you don't have the gear or skill points to support that shadow cascade build. Honestly, you can swap to shurikens and self cast and be just fine clearing regular monoliths until you get some starter gear.

cascade works perfectly fine since the start tbh
you can stay as cascade but i would recommend swapping to rend cascade with umbrals recall for mana. you need to have throw conversion on cascade and at least t5 throw affixes where possible (ammy, belt, relic, gloves, rings)
swap sync to rend and dancing to smoke
and remove this since ytou dont have any crit for now
getting either tongue or doppel relic or both will solve crit togetehr with weapons of choise and rogue passive
That's true, rend cascade is easier to sustain with umbral recall. Not as gear dependent but definitely becomes a powerhouse once you get doppelgänger set

have you used forge for once? you can add affixes to gear there if you have shards
basically just put throwing flat damage on all pieces and upgrade them
rend is a skill for which you better swap
you just spam rend and trigger cascade
and you gain mana back from shift umbral recall
rend, to me, is a tricky skill to use
you have to be so far distance from the enemy and you have to be facing a certain way for the skill to go in that direction

Use your build but swap dancing to rend and sync to smoke, that's it
And get throwing conversion in cascade

Shurikens, but kinda just worse than regular shurikens or bladestorm shuri because of the forced movement
I started on DS shuri, but swapped to bladestorm lightning shuri cause damage was better
