what is the combo for this?
or like which buttons need to be pressed first or what are you looking for specifically before recalling blades etc
I cant seem to find a shadow dagger build online without a whole bunch of uniques. Any recommendations? Was thinking of blade frenzy umbral blades
I dunno if I wanna take my bladedancer or spellblade build to high ubers π°
might try Artifice of Devastation of see if that pushed it over the edge for me
Flow needs 5 different "damaging" active skills self casted to trigger (it triggers on 5th cast)
- Smoke Bomb + Aerial Assault = 2
- Umbral Blades combo = 3 (its 1 skill but has 3 casts)
In terms of when you want to recall blades:
- At least 20 Dusk Shrouds
- 8 Smoke Blades
- Ideally Julra's up (but I've noticed sometimes I one shot him even without Julra's buff)
- And of course you're inside Smoke Bomb and on top of boss.
- Most important is Falcon Strike (Falcon abilities dont steal flow stacks) before the final 5th recall cast.
Basically you're gonna have to have your eyes on the buff bar all the time.
Gonna take lots of time to practice but once u watch your own recorded tries you learn.
It will get so easy once u master. I one shot him 10 times in a row last session.
do u think penumbra is any good for the build or is julras just always going to be better
julra's better since you're relying on precise timing anyways.
triple T7 dex on each is more umbral blades shat by the razorfall.
i generate so many fewer dusk shrouds than you do, i need to figure that part out first π
But thats just for the one shot version. Juse has the tanky map version that u dont have to do any of the shit listed above. Julra's are not needed for non 1 shot version.
if you boost damage a lot you can make a it a lot more consistent also.
I really did find getting more damage helped for my bad timing:P

In my case I never one shot him without good timing and my gear is not bad.
nevermind it seems slagstorm and blade frenzy is counter intuitive because it eats my actual umbral blades that have shadow daggers

Yes but it seems like you doing the precise timing without knowing it.
i practiced a lot and I did need to upgrade my damage.
more damage = less perfection needed.

I found once i boosted my damage a lot, the chest alone was insaneeee the damage increase.
i only was able to kill uber in the lp1 gear once it was brutal, once i had all this gear, it helped a lot, still miss but more consistent

I didnt like the falcon strike in second slot and put 4th
that is pure preference.
once i get close to uber, stop holding the 3 down. hit umbral twice, falcon strike, then umbral. This gave me the highest success in the long run

but you do need to be super quick with umbral, falcon strike umbral or you lose too much shroud etc
100% 1LP or 4LP it one shots but more damage just more forgiving if you are missing 1-4 shrouds. etc

That is how i do it at least, everyone will have their own way, but i struggle with mixing holding down buttons then timing falcon strike with umbral strike.

Yes Dex is priority over Throw dmg.
its 20 dex = plus 1 Umbral. So pay attention to your dex number so u can reach breakpoint.
and craft your gear accordingly.
where you can get it cooldown > dex > throwing damage as far as i can tell
I just skipped the shift entirely, sustaining mana easily now with traversal Smoke Bomb, -10mana Rend while in Smoke, -4 from nodes; and 5mana on dodge from Falconer...a bit of mana regen from stuff around and its fine, only the early lvls were a bit meh, nothing some mana regen from random gear around wouldnt fix tho
But no dagger, so no Shadow Daggers from Umbrals for me... maybe I could just swap it for Decoy and call it a day
Outside the low life uniques, If you have some spammable skill that spawns shadows, Ward on Shadow creation is big
If you dont have any other boots, ye I guess it works... the damage is only to high health enemies, you'll lose it π Tabi is just better for sure
If you dont use Night's Aproach, so you move around with Rend, maybe even Vaion could be decent option... all resists, 1% inc. dmg per 1% movement speed and once every 3seconds your Rend does up to 40% more damage

the flay ones seem decent with attack speed, more dam on cascade only while healthy but nice and then also has the movespeed
If you have that Shadow Cascade as the big damage then for sure π bit of health, DoT reduction, also Tabi no longer moves you with Rend, so you miiight save 2 points from the tree? idk, havent tried Tabis myself yet
You can look up on database. I believe people arlready researched before concluding the shadow boots.

Generating 2 shadows instead of 1 when u have close to 10 max shadows is huge difference.

Mmmm, you cant reduce item cooldowns by the cooldown on your gear unless something has changed in 1.3/1.4... cdr on gear only works on the skills you use yourself

I was thinking of experimenting with shadow rend since on paper it looks like you can make a multishot build with auto-aim and even dashes
but im not sure how viable the build would actually be
I think @ TriKster has played something with Rend and Multishot and wasnt really excited by it; you can check it on youtube

I havent played that myself so idk really much.... buuut with bladestorm+shurikens Ive played bleed a bit in lower corruptions which was pretty fun and easy, just to keep the mana up I ended up with 0mana Net spam and Sapping Strikes

Guile counts as Dex for all these things as I know

How does leveraged momentum interact with dagger dance in shadow cascade? Does throwing attack speed interact with it?
The issue with tabi is that it disables moving. You can't attack-move with it for monos while you can do this with flay
Both work but the gameplay is totally different
Also I think wings of argentus damage reduction works when you rend moving, to it's really nice body to have when converted to fire

Just by checking planner, the daggers from Dagger Dance should still get more damage from melee attack speed even tho you can remove the melee attack from Cascade π it just wont convert the "melee attack speed" to throw for Leveraged Momentum... at least just by looking at it like this I guess thats how it would work tbh

You get ward only when the "actual" shadow spawns after it completes rend attack after a delay

Yeah attack speed is bis on this I got it on weapon and glove. I would also get it on other weapon probably if I wasn't using set sword(but it already has 24%)
Funny enough I ended up using set sword even tho I planned to use reen. Reen seemed worse in both combinations

Reen+tongue I'm lacking 20% more from set and some flat crit
Set+tongue is what worked the best on dummy

I was thinking about other weapon types like axes or sceptre for fire. Hakar phoenix looks decent, sceptre for 42% more fire damage, but they are running into the issue if capping crit easily because passives for crit work only with swords and daggers, and also cascade loses 15% more, so I dropped the idea
I had umbrals with bleed nodes and explosion for jormund too

Maybe bladestorm can do the same, but it's 1 extra button for unclear reason

just the maxed out set. i had a few decent corruptions into reforges from it but didnt use any just to keep it as basic and budget for uber as possible
ideally you would want something like reforged with t7 hybrid\t5 cdr\t5 mana regen+set shard i guess
and endurance corruption or health increase

I can reach 120 attributes, no issue, although big part of it is the jormund axe (+10 on str and dex)
worth checking.
I also considered Ruby Fang's Set, instead of Jormund. but I think 20% more meele damage beats I think +1 fire damage per 5% poison resist. Also Jormund set 3 bonus is just 10% crit multi. Very weak?

oh I still got DS specced with shadow daggers, a lil mistake form the previous version that had double Atropos swords... could ditch 1 Kuzon sword, swap relic, remove one point from some DS trait aaaand it should be fine... possibly the ring, that would be another -1 to skills
it already has 8/8 weapons of choice so Jormund+Kuzon sword is 180% bleed=>ignite... π
since when does acid flask have a base cooldown? thought it was 0, says so on lastepochtools anyway and didnt see any mention in patch notes
Falconer deletes Uber Aberroth, Bladedancer is strong with Rend and Cascade, Marksman is kinda lacking from what people say here

i liked rend sd leveling too, you one-shot rares with 2 stacks from sd hit and 3 ghost blades thrown and just move on

thats like 9 multishots per second that totals in like 60 crits per second if point blank or a big target. 19% of those trigger shurikens
and its much more when you shoot in packs of enemies with multishot pierce

I usually try to stick close to her... when she throw the lightning aoe, run behind here, when she starts the cold cone, run behind here... I die more often the the void beams just because Im dumb and ran into them π and unless you are super squishy, her auto attacks should not be insta kills

I run all the nodes... more rifts in echoes where the rift beasts jumps out with a pack of other beasts, so they drop bones and the rift beasts also drops the currency... then the rift portals appear more often, so more bones, currency from the beast at the end, evolving more often

Falconer has other stronger builds like Recall Umbral or Ballista.
and the bird has nice POWER too .. use the drop acid flask..turned to cold , for CC

Shift is more comfy in 1k.
Think of Explosive Traps on Shadow Rend is cherry dmg on top.
Silver Shroud appears to apply to patch notes for Rogue as well. No idea how this class keeps dodging the bullet every patch series and just brainlessly scales without a check/balance in sight...

the thing is if you buy it raw it is something like 100k and u can just gamble on it but if you buy it with lp and slam a t7 on it it is something like 800k+ so it is more risky to gamble with

Yes, you get stuck. They changed a bit how the skill moves and it can bug like warpath used to bug in 1.2
That relic is also quite fun, just spec into Explosive Traps to get Smoke Traps node so it gives you Dusk Shrouds, reduced mana cost nodes and you can go up to get the Splinkler nodes, just avoid the one with +11 mana, Ive tried it once and my mana pretty much disappeared... you can also then pick Acid Flask so you throw Bladestorm that throws traps what throw flasks π
Aaah gotcha, thanks. I reported the bug but wasn't sure if it was a "me" issue. Hopefully they fix it soon, has gotten me killed quite a few times π

I got 4 points here, t7 throw cost on a ring for -5, and just ran with 0 mana Net and 4/4 Sapping Strikes in Rogue so every Net gave me 8 mana back... solid attack speed, spam Net and you dont have to worry about mana at all
im not sure what route i want to go with shurikens ngl, Ricochet and Deadly Aim looks the best on paper
its ultimately the same core, just not sure which one scales better
