you will die so much more to random 1 shots from onscreeen mobs
that you will make significantly sloewr progress through monoliths
because you are getting 10 stability at a time not 100+
there is nothing in the game that can make marksman tanky at 1000 corruption other than killing mobs from offscreen

but stun chance is based on health and ward, so when he gets his high ward barriers he is basically immune
i have T6 increased stun chance on my dragonsong lets go 🚀
you would uhhh have to deal 7.5% of his health in 1 hit to stun him with 0% increased chance to stun

thinking about multishot since i have a 4lp peak of the mountain and a 4lp conundrum
multishot is a shotgun. meaning you have to play up close melee range for single target

one peeve i have about the game is that its ungodly hard to pick up pots
you have to walk literally right over them

they should have a way more generous pickup range

might have a somewhat extended last phase where you ned to wait for him to place fire circles at the center of the small arena to dps without eating 50 frailty stacks constantly from pools and beams

Hey all! I'm hitting a major wall in improving my damage to make uberroth kills more than a 1 in 100 try crapshoot. Would anyone be willing to spot check my build for what needs to change first? I'm following Juse's build but missing a few components
Can anyone playing bleed stun falconer help me out?
I sync strike then I smoke bomb and then spam cast aerial assault and divebomb but once smoke bomb runs out and I re-up on sync strike and smoke bomb, it seems to restart the ramp. Like there's a large period of time that it takes to start spamming divebomb again. Am I doing something wrong?

Having a damage issue with falconer ?
I do enough damage to kill Uberroth but only barely, and im still a long way away from being tanky, so i figure it would be easier to get more damage
In the opener I can sometimes get uberroth down to 80% ward before he does his big slam so that feels good but then on the next run I might do significantly less damage for no discernible reason

Difference in gameplay I could suggest is just being sure to avoid frailty obviously and not using falcon strikes

The Juse build has them ordered that way so I hope that's right
most people say that pressing falcon strikes lowers damage because it can cancel the casts of other abilities

i don't remember if the shroud node itself is bugged or it's when you take birds aren't real but one or both of those is really bad

i would usually just clear with the nodes you had in and then unspec them if i go to kill boss

its not the dusk shroud node that reduces damage (that one does nothing) its the node "birds arn't real" connected to it that severly removes damgae

Also was reading your conversation, build is just for uber or in general when removed points in UB?
removing the points is to increase single target substantially
you can still clear like that but it's worse than if you have the points for them to bladestorm / explode

Yeah 3500 is a lot if with mourningfrost. I had around 3k for Uber Abby without high lp items

It does increase but the increase is not as impactful with modifiers that directly affect it. Ex. Cold (increased cold > increased elem ), frostbite (elem dmg over time > dmg over time)
Ok I think using that ring plus woven flesh slammed with +4 heartseeker might be good for my build atm
post your setup and ppl will tell if whether its gear or skill issue. I was able to kill him around 95, but I think gear matters more than lvls and I had a lot of gear ready from my other char

now. I moved to 2lp traitor with t7 crit damage and trash suffix and switched umbral to synch strike. Then suddenly im farming uber abby for fun
but heard people using flat minion/melee/element damage. not sure how much difference it would make tho. t7 c.dmg and I do 1min/1.5mins at most.

For falconer, would T7 Throwing Damage 0 dex be better than T7 Dex 0 throwing damage? On a relic

I'm guessing same applies to minion damage?
I'm not even sure if minion damage applies tbh
but in order you want
dex
throwing dmg
throwing physical dmg
so for example peak of the mountain with 2 LP > => T7 dex + T5 throwing phys dmg
1 LP relic => T7 dex
2LP relic => T7 dex + T5 throwing dmg

You can, or you can use the numlock trick to "hold" the buttons for you
so im returning to the game, havent played since the game first launched, what is the top build rn for rogue? im currently level 71 on a heartseeker build but im also conflicted cause im using a heartseeker build the revolves around heartseeker (obviously) and having heartseeker auto cast puncture and black arrow constantly, but ive heard about one that revolves around heartseeker casting burning daggers

Haven't tried assembling it yet or fully mathed it out, but I think there might be a niche use case where you use Ravager helmet with Fire Heartseeker just to load up the +4/recurve fire damage to Bow/Throwing/Spell in conjunction with some other Bow or Throwing skills. But I'm certain it won't be as strong (on current patch) as just using the Dragonsong version, even if it's playable/viable.
play it with row, its really good. totally fine at 1500 corr
dragonfang nodes buff icicles, puncture, and umbrals if you have them
the damage is mainly from fire conversion+ spam modification, cause everyone before took node that makes 1 hail max, i changed that to spammable version. we optimized it even more now its dummy kill in 28 sec with endgame realistic setup and with just 2 t7 affix+uber relic u get 80% more dmg
flat damage isnt low cause you use 3 elemental arrows thats 48*3 bonus flat dmg and heartseeker another 40-60 on avarage
lizard updated maxroll build with my final setup, sniper gambit also added for 30 dmg

your gloves are not doing anything for you - rogue does not have any skills with the spell tag, so items that affect spells do not apply
if you want to build around bleed you should use Salt the Wound gloves
also Blood of the Exile boots and Valdyr's Chalice are other good bleed uniques

but to proc immobilise he would need to be in melee range with shurikens
imo, slow and chill is a decent QoL to have but what for when you kill them fast. puncture + death's imprint and few other nodes is amazing at clear already. you dont have to go out of your way to min max anything for puncture.
gotcha, death's imprint node does a ton of damage? this is my current setup:
this is mine. the red circle part is just.... meh. like i mention on the above, puncture is just there to help with clear. however you wanna adjust is totally fine.
you shouldnt have any clear issue as long as you gear correctly with the correct stats.
just rememeber, pucture is literally for clearing trash mobs.

i only have 103% cold res, so that node isnt gonna do much for me.
small math, lets say i have 105 - 75 = 30%
30% = 6% pen if its 2 points added.
i stacked a ton of cold res idols
two if this idol gets me 6% already

ignore the void res. i adjust my idols when i need it. im running shine temple map alot and those +20 dex shine will drop my physical / cold res, so i need them at 100.

Anyone have a good falconer build for lvl'n fast to 100 then being able to kill Uber Abby?
Trying to get these gloves by running echoes in the Ending the Storm empowered timeline. Using prophecies which can be triggered in echoes (and in other places such as dungeons) without success. It isn't a filter issue (I do check just in case). These things just won't drop (I've fought Lagon so many times it's a snooze fest now). I'm running it at corruption level 130. Do I need to bump it higher to have a better chance ? Should I just use the Rune of Ascedency instead (at a 1 in 900+ chance it's not exactly a common drop or a good chance but still).

Great - I might just move on then. I'm trying to follow the Heartseeker Marksman build guide on maxroll. It seems a bit unrealistic to be calling this item as part of an end game build. As an aspirational build maybe but end game is a bit of a stretch if it is that rare to drop. I'm not running Ending the Storm forever. The armout for the endgame is a bit of a stretch too (it is the armour that normal Aberroth has a chance to drop).
it is not that rare but you need to farm it for sure
prioritize getting your bow, quiver, peak, boots.
I have some of those. I probably should set up a filter for T6/T7 drops so I can go slam them in Sanctum then. If the gloves and chest armour drop then they drop. Otherwise I guess I'll just live with what I have for those slots 👍
I followed that guide and beat aberroth without the gloves and do 300c stuff fine so you don't need to super worry about it. Learning smoke bomb timing goes far

Yeah - I can run at least level 200 with what I have, which is not great. I hate that Gaspar fight though. It's so annoying running around avoiding the beams
I did pivot from the guide at some point for smoke bomb's tree to give myself blind on bow attacks from inside the smoke bomb too instead of the slow while enemies are in the smoke bomb since all my issues were from things hitting me from the edge of the screen

I'd lean more into Hail of Arrows and Heartseeker (new skill added this patch) instead of Detonating Arrow , res are capped which is good
I'd also spec out of Decoy and specialize in Shurikens more for extra defence (extra armour while Shurikens are active) with Shift casting the Shurikens for me
gear wise you probably won't be able to do much without getting to monos
and generally dropping some exalts and uniques
not sure what you mean by lean more. skill points are seperate arent they? atm i seem to be running out of mana often when i try to use more than two skills, not sure what i can do about that

On the skill bar have :
Hail of Arrows, Heartseeker, Shift, Smoke Bomb + Decoy for emergency but without spending any points into specialization
have specialized skills :
Hail of Arrows, Heartseeker, Shift, Shurikens, Smoke Bomb
Heartseeker has nodes that allows you to generate mana after the arrow recurves, so that should help

no, but it's still good for killing multiple targets since it can change targets automatically

yep, detonating arrow eats a lot of mana while heartseeker should help you more in single target while still being good against multiple enemies and could generate mana for you as well

in that usually people use it with the trap thing
that uses it a lot of times
after that you pick and choose what feels better
if you go bottom-left from the chest in The End of Time there's an NPC that allows you to respec for a small amount of gold

those are both random drops, so its just a matter of getting lucky. you can use Rune of Ascendance on bows and boots for some extra chances
also do bow and boot prophecies if you are Circle of Fortune
if you are Merchant's Guild you could just buy them with gold (razorfall is probably expensive though)

Yeah it only affects minion damage via exposed weakness node in falconry which requires a direct melee attack, throwing or bow attack (AA umbrals don’t count). I think his version uses trap? Which is a throwing attack so crit multi is still good, can stack it fast

He has more than 150 ward on shadow, that's a lot. Just nothing much to support it
Wall+anchor+ravs will give a lot of endu thresh and ward retention thresh along with ehp multipliers, might not be a bad idea

basically, this build is bugged. flurry is bugged. ward allows me to stay alive through the bug because its a pixel reposition bug. the amount of ward i get per shadow surpasses the amount of hp and res i can get if i build otherwise

ive seen it a lot, Olvrin played it last season entirely, as a life version, but this throw reset thing went under the radar for me
it doesnt really change much in the build, but the fact itself is huge
you still dont wanna use attack speed affixes
and umbrals were already decent for chill and mana on recall
only way i dont use attack speed is if i get heaps of mana from somewhere else tho
and bladeshield was already good
start with t7 cost reduction body it makes a big diference
cause heres also the thing yeah. holding down flurry while youre spamming mirage will deal an extra 70-90k dps.
you cant do that with umbral
you dont have crit chance, it wont do much damage
it does with the shred effect
running around and staying safe > spamming melee skill and dying
and those 2 could have been 9% hp each or penetration with SD

Normal Aberroth felt pretty cool with some decent human build, then we got this crap
dunno, i loved it even after i failed 2 days for ~6 hours 
i just messed up when i get to last phase skill issue+
it just makes buildmaking and understanding the build and skill valuable (unless cheesing with broken stuff)
think the idea is to dodge around while ray spam is ongoing
and hit when you can meanwhile
when ray spam you mostly ignore those
and leech as much as possible

at least it can leech constantly
You'd spend forever biting through the ward phases, either stack as much damage as possible while having pretty low health or try stacking health, then spending even more biting through ward phases and... still getting oneshotted by a lot of stuff out of nowhere
after some gear changes i think it will be better

when i killed uber abby on hs mm i didnt even know about laser management 
health on hit+as+ignore lasers ftw 
yeah most kills I have seen are like that
yeah but now when i know about it i would have tried to keep uber abby in the top and bottom for the first half of the fight instead of left and right

I would say ur idols are totally random, get hp/res element or DMG over time 25% or Big ones for Shadow DMG/health

Man I am getting slapped using Juse's build at 300 corruption
one shot so many times
2.5k hp pretty much max rez on all
decent start, 2/2 byss
same, but 1430 HP and 1200 corruption
what I found is that I'm missing quite a bit of dodge rating
Juse buddy how you not getting one shot? Is it just a case of never get hit or am I missing a defensive layer
he is 100% getting 1 shot
got one shot a lot running the 1 echo to get to byss, is way harder than the orobyss itself. only took 15h~ over 3 days climbing 6-10k
i cant tell from testing do shadows throw only 1 fire trap?
so it doesnt count as direct use for the more traps from conversion node
is dark quiver worth using?

Is Heartseeker RoW worth a try if you're tired of falconer? Will I find something cool there or will I be disappointed?

Falconer has some insane damage scaling with minimal effort. Feels like they nerf it every season and it's always still broken
its becasue they buff it every season as well
Well as a minimum, you can make all clothes dexterity, the damage will be, but you ZHP glass, to mobs and do not go near, any sneeze on you and you are in the hub) But if you want to still and live, look for half a century of clothes with 2-3 lp
falconer is a hella creative idea also
I love the masteries in this game if they add fourth ones it would just be insane
falconer craps on heartseeker but if you enjoy the ranged gameplay id try it..
if you have issue with dying. rogue is not the class to play.
rogue needs gear to be defensive and survive.
I was messing a lot with cold converted Acid Flask this season, anyone around that played the build and is really happy with it?

Yeah it has low LPL and you can get 3LP reliable, even 4LP if you are as lucky as me
Seeing all the 3 LP over a long time made me always want to play around with this one
Also like the FX from the (cold) flask, looks and sounds cool to me 😄
Try it and see how it goes. Last I checked it just doesn't have the damage tho unfortunately
It was my season starter, I liked it a lot until 300 in party (was okish until the 400s solo) then it fell off. That's why I'm asking around for some inspiration

some of the bladedancer abilities are just peak to me like shadow cascade and flurry
I'm on 2k+ hours here. I played the giga OP stuff at times, no need for me to rush every season, that only burns me out. But I'm not the best build cook, so wanted to see what other's do here. Even more how they dealt with the Explosion Trap nerf, that hit the build quite hard I guess. (Not sure how much the Acid Flask buffs balanced that)
