I have close to 200% increased attack speed with tempest strike
that might cause some issues
I think one flaw of LE is the level requirements, you need to be over lvl 80 to even use normal items, you could have t3 affix upgraded to t4 at lvl 83 for example, it makes absolutely no sense

Yeah, it can be effective, but it is mega clunky and getting that many bleeds takes a lot of investment
I think the other problem is reliably getting your locusts within the swarm strike area to get the max added damage, just feels really awkward and ontop of that the damage is split between poison and phys
The locusts aren't too bad, you can just summon new ones and pop them before they go anywhere - or I guess use a bunch of those minion teleport effects lol
but it certainly is just one more thing on top of all the other clunk
they also die easily since you're not scaling minion stats
despite all of this I tempted to give that idea another go

dmg per shock for lightning slam is 100% more, hit dmg per poison converted is another 30% and you get a really good shock chance on scorp with that route.
It's pretty cool
it feels really bad when you're hitting and the boulders take ages to fall, but it's really not that bad when it's a minion. There's just not the same feedback between hit and effect

Yeah people shouldn't be relying on imprints for drops. Its faster to target farm unique props and drop lps and then egg the non lp's

I think people just need to learn how to play the game and not be so impatient but redditt is never patient and always expects perfection

If you have 1000 lightning res, a storm totem, then maybe it can deal 200k on a dummy
those nodes which have a 40% chance to cast a tempest when you use the other tempests should be consolidated into one node and work for the totems
there's so much travel to get to them and they're terrible and expensive
I love wind tempest totem, it hits as a melee swipe totem but a slow projectile

totem duration was okay, once, frenzy on summoning is okay too but nothing too crazy
so im doing the maxroll frog build and it doesnt really focus on getting attunement (frog crit chance) but it does focus on dex (frog crit dmg). I have 29 attunement (29% crit chance).
Should I focus on getting more attunement? crit multi seems wasted if you rarely crit.
Taking a shot in the dark here but with I assume you have some % increased minion crit chance somewhere, like idols but warcry gives 200% inc crit so that's 87% crit chance from just that

Unless one corrupts it and gets lucky with getting the corrupt affix that grants +1 to all skills & extra mana depending on the tier of the affix.
Context: the tier only affects the amount of mana while the +1 to all skills remains at 1.

It drops the loot of all the champs and a bunch of omen window loot, plus has the greater window ball thing. Nothing exclusive.

It's genuinely very fun. Your character model gets replaced by just various versions of tornado effects
The damage just sucks because even though you have dozens of spells going at once they all scale horribly
I'm sure our glorious leaders are on the case and soon the checks notes Tempest Strike based triggered spell dots build will be good in 1.5

UB recall also has uncapped Crit Multi per blade recalled
All the more Dmg for TS are equivalent to 1 node in UB

gotta attack two times with stuff you aren't scaling before you can get to the one you do scale. That feels like GARBAGE. TS's theme and concept are cool. But it needs a WHOLE new skill tree. It is extremely point starved where you need to use between 15-20 points on QoL alone to make the skill feel like nothing garbage just to use and now you have no points left over to scale the skill

CtC on tempest should be 1pt or 25% per point. Lagon should be changed to be on tempest. It being a 0 cast 60IAS skill to generate 100 spell damage is dumb and causes other problems to design around. SS CtC needs a substantial boost as does the endurance based healing.

The answer is always get is that well they need to rework the skills and even though that is true, it doesn't take any effort to make a 3% damage node into a 30% if you know the skill does no damage ,you buff and if thats not enough you buff again,by adjusting the more multipliers you already can fix some viability right there

EHG absolutely love sentinel and rogue and the bias is annoying as hell actually. Primalists find one broken interaction it will be nerfed and gutted in like 7 different ways next hotifx. VK is immortal with low gear investment and rogue one shots Uber abby for free? Untouched for years
Play offline, remove mana restrictions, oh look at that you can play upheaval with all the crazy fun nodes and it's doing well who would've thought it can be a great skill!

it'll never happen. that exact thing has been suggested many times and they've always shot it down. they want mana to be a limiter and for people to have to solve the problem
it's why the flat gain on attack from rogue or sentinel is so low too
If you're not a rogue/necromancer I think the game is fine with its phasing for the most part, if you think of the running and killing monster part not corruption.

There is no standard order, it is a custom implementation for every skill
The only guide I would use is that item conversions almost always override skill tree conversions

yes there's a conversion on the skill tree that makes EQ into a lightning spell instead of a phys melee attack but there's also an idol you can use which converts it into lightning without making it a spell

I have eq in a cone but when it procs from natural wrath it doesnt appear in a cone 
but the damage numbers are the exact same as casting it myself

world splitter works. the idol only consumes 50% of the mana of eq rather than actually casting it for half its cost so the damage is the same as a self cast eq
the main problem is needing alot of attack speed to have stacks
I wonder if that makes EQ have less crit chance from splitter since it's 25 mana instead of 50
it seems to not change the crit chance
It would hurt but you can take 10 points in viper for AS

A bit at least, if you want it to deal damage you need to stack mana. At least over 1k but it will also consume 10 mana maximum per hit. (It consumes 1% of your current mana to deal more damage when you have that node)
I think it can maybe work at least, might even need near perfect roll on the idols
It could also be worth to use reliquary nest, might not bug it out
you need 2x 30% less frequency idols with some amount of increased effect to make it feel comfortable otherwise you're constantly battling to get to 30 stacks. With 2x you can keep one stack for almost 30 seconds
Yeah I considered reliquary nest too, the belt is pretty nice for ASp% and damage but it means you have to get frenzy somewhere reliably
keeping it up with evade and nihilis is doable I suppose
warcry + maelstroms is possible if you numlock it
id have to drop wolf and aspect of the lynx then but that can work too
you can also gain maelstrom stacks with GS
Most likely 1 or 2 stacks but will help for sure

I think so, healing totems restore rage on death if you spec them that way in thorn totem tree and they're copying a mana restore node

Man wish corrupted gear could be used as LP fodder. But the corruption affix had a 0% chance to be carried over. All the good LP fodder i'm finding is from god dang omens
