I have four idols with +8% mana on them but to get the additional flat mana component, the cheapest idol on the bazaar with that combo is 200 million for bad rolls.
mg is borked always
wait arent you supposed to be using middle explosion glacier if you are using it as main dps skill?
that's the curse build
For each 1 flat mana I get, I actually gain about 2 mana because of all the % gains I have between gear and talents and idols.
I am missing a theoretical 582 flat mana plus 1% mana on my unstable core and my amulet alone, compared to god rolls plus max slams
So, absolutely yes however that requires extra passives to spend in glacier, and that would come from slamming glacier skill levels and mana into an LP2 unstable core..
i think 1LP twisted heart would be good upgrade, then slap on an arcane regalia with t7 mana + INT/glacier?
surely they cant be that expensive
Here is every 2 LP unstable core in existence on bazaar ATM
MG abusers ☠️
💀
not a single ring showed up ..,.. wtf
I think 2 hit glacier is even harder to gear than CoC meteor
Looking for arcane regalia with mana and glacier levels, exalted of any sort, not specifying how it is exalted or what ranks of those skills exist, returns two results total. One is 1.5 billion, the other has potential but it's t6 mana and 2 million. I ran out of favor so I cant pick it up, QQ.
what are these prices
I could maybe look for arcane regalia with t7 mana alone and try to add the skill levels, however, keep in mind that I would at best be getting 1 exta skill point from doing this
t5 glacier is only 2 skill points, t6 is 3 and t7 is four.
I would need +4 skills to put some points into buffing 2nd explosion
dam, u could do a funky build with this
if you can find some crit
you could probably do this? https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AL5JW2nQ

🤔 This would stack, wouldn't it? Note how it says more and not increased
200 int builds? 🤔
& added damage effectiveness for the lightning rune is 300%, which is definitely very high. Alternatively you pick rune shard instead, which has only 200% damage effectiveness but can hit targets multiple times.
A number of 1000 would turn into 2304 with 4 of these idols at 200 int if I'm not mistaken
thats chance for more dmg so.. 44% more dmg if they all stack
chance per Int for extra dmg
It is multiplicative and they're different sources, right? And values above 100% for chances (That have no cap) means chance to apply twice. (Such as with dots)
If it is 44% then that's definitely never a choice.
possibly, someone more knowledgable should answer
chances above 100 dont always stack though, i would suspect not in this case but I dont actually know. Not only that, but its likely the chance is what stacks, and not the damage, so probably not 44% either
1 rune invocations are all garbage anyways. Lightning one is barely okay
https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/N0VA1900/character/MagicalLannister
What should I focus on to improve? Reached empowered monos yesterday and getting random one shots
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RoQk84Qcds&t=0s look up this guide if you are playing frost claw
I don't use Frost Claw for Spark triggering, I am using Mana Strike
Is there a reason to have over 100% spark charge on melee hit
no point in taking volley of glass in fc if im auto proccing via melee strikes right?
get your resistance up. poison and void. also your health is quite low with 1,2k. aaaalso: crit-strike avoidance or % les dmg from hits. both should be 100% at best.
Also: Your phys resistance is way to high, as long as you don't profit from the overstack-value: get it down
It works like most ailments so if you have 200% chance then you apply x2 charge per hit
but you don't need room to move? it's the fem harbinger, all of her crap is very narrow linear aoes
very trivial but then again, so are most other classes
"stronger identity" is not really an argument in this game at all as barely anything has any identity to begin with
I am playing a lightning spells on-hit spellblade, mainly focusing on spark charge. The thing is that I am dying non stop on 100 empowered monos and I know my gear isnt that great but the game isnt even helping with drops, I couldnt drop anything good for my build. Right now I am trying to farm Fragment of the Enigma and couldnt drop a single one, I am almost giving up the season.

O
ran this on my sorc while leveling, wasn't too bad but then my build got derailed into various jank and I later had to respec it into ole good melee surge, before I realized that they did actually nerf the free statics
so now my build is just melee surge but on the plus side, I got an idea for a sorc static build
the stats aren't bad but it's not doing anything degenerate so nobody plays it. Alright, the flat DR is a little degenerate
channeling is a meme, go with the regular projectile build
just stack 3k mana and lightning disintegrate will be good, presumably that is
isnt static used for the lighting aegis and damage boost? running ms/fc/fw/lb/tp
debating whether to use enchant weap and unksill tele
disintegrate doesn't hit anyways so building it for ailment application is gonna be not great
fire disintegrate doesn't apply much in the way of dots anyways, only enough ignite to benefit from -8% damage and spreading flames for the 15% more
well with lighting blast procs n what not it would have a chance, but the fact that electrify doesnt proc from anything execpt 3 items in the game, its gg for it..
will have to go fire based to live out my fantisies
that's irrelevant, what makes disintegrate meh is the overall damage output, it doesn't matter in which way it is achieved
but it looks very cool
psst, it's a spell that gets +200 spell damage at baseline at 250% eff and 800% more baked in too
you can build direct damage static
Also I'm fairly sure that the static charge node in Firebrand is bugged and gives charges on hit and not on use if you hit anything
or at least the description is incorrect
I guess it being on hit would be consistent with most other static charge nodes in other skills like SO
what are sorc plauers finding the best bossing build to be?
chunkypapa's build is giga op
whats he doin?
it's the meteor glacier static orb build
ahh, is it rly that good? over just commited to one or two of the skills?
yeah it's super good, you can burn abberath easily with mid gears
no trouble with any t4 bosses, can push high corruption, aoe and single target, it has it all
dam, sorx busted.
got a link?
❤️
I feel like they saw his build during 1.0 and were like "yeah let's buff this"
sorc and mana stacks stupidly oped
Can Lightning Blast chain to the same enemy without Convergence ?
It's not THAT much damage though, compared to stuff like mana Static Orb or dex-boosted Runic Invocation. It's like... "okay" level of damage.
(At the cost of 220 mana)
But that's just a basic mana stacking Static Orb. Which is like a several years old build.
What Meteor (with full support) is doing here? Seems like a waste just for trash clear.
How does the Twisted Heart work for channeling skills such as Disintegrate or channeled fireball?
It doesn't, except for the channel initial activation
yeah it's not the most busted by a long shot
Was afraid of that... I suppose it's the same for "(10% to 20%) of Current Mana gained as Ward when you cast a Fire Spell" and such... 😦
yes, "cast" effects trigger just once when you activate the skill
and cast speed also doesn't increase the tick rate of such channeling skills either right?
nope, not like in grim dawn
Not by default. There's a node in Disintegrate that gives some damage boost at the cost of channel delay on activation. And the Cast Speed reduces that delay
Fair enough... it seems like I can't make it perform anywhere beyond like a D-C tier skill though. It's painful.
did you try the void gloves
with ignafar catalyst, and go full crit but no crit multi
Exactly. All of the old Mage/Sorc skills are extremely unimpressive and outdated. Even after buffs
Only the new stuff is cool
charge the gloves with another skill then use disintegrate boosted by 10 stacks of the gloves
it seems like super awkward gameplay though but I think it was chunkypapa who was telling us about this like a couple of days ago
well that depends on the definition of your tiers. I'm currently around 500 corr with disintegrate and it can be pushed further still as my gear is crap, but that of course isn't a particularly high number or anything. And of course I would have had a much better time on a less janky build
disintegrate did get some love in 1.1 but not enough I think.
Also yeah I guess you could use those gloves to boost disintegrate but it's just not synergizing with nodes like increased lightning damage per max mana and such...
But when a few outliers are like S++++ tier, where does that leave average builds?
oh yeah you'd need to go for full fire I think in this case, losing the max mana node bonus
yeah 😛
Honestly I'd consider corruption 1000 an S tier build for pushing, and 500 average... Yeah there are those 2000-2500+ corruption builds but thats like 3 or 4 of them. (ty zhp ballista)
I already whined about it 50 times but the problem isn't even old skills being bad, it's "new skills" like spark charges with Arcane current homogenizing builds to the extreme. Largely the same issue exists on primalist with GS now. And this whole idea of "random bulls hit goes as long as it applies an ailment" is just, you know, ailment builds 2.0 electric bogaloo so it infringes into that design space as well
Anyone else getting performance issues in monolith with FC+spark charge + lightning blast?
it's more of "everybody getting performance issues", full stop
I dont know whether this should be reassuring or more concerning. Glad to not be so lonely I guess..
I'm still playing a weird hybrid spark charge + mana stacking build with wrongwarp, FC, and static orb, and with very inappropriate gear (cause I want to go for two builds at once)it feels like the most broken thing ever to me, that spark charge passive node was a mistake
the optimization is bad and there are numerous memory leaks in the client, I remember some guy posting screenshots with over 40 gb of ram usage by the game's client, that's literally more than the entire client size
Yea, it's busted. I cant seem to get out of claw of dragaroth synergy. It's so busted.
yeah even without lightning blast, I avoid arena monos cause of it
"this is a mistake" was everybody's take within 5 seconds of this node being previewed, I wonder what on earth were the developers and testers thinking, if they were thinking at all that is, which is doubtful given the overall state of the game/class/build balance
and it's crazy how little investment this requires to just work tbh
well at least we now have spark charge builds for every skill in the game, including (checks notes) shatter strike
can't wait for spark charge builds on sentinel in the next patch
you can do that now, but nobody would becuase it would be so weak
they can just make a new spark charge unique next patch, let's see what text they could possibly put on it.. hmm.. how about, "if a skill or effect would apply less than 5 spark charges to an enemy, it applies 5 spark charges instead"?
Yeah with the Sorcerer passive node, as long as you can push any skill cost to 40 or above, it'll cast a spark charge...
I think there's the glacier dmg type itself that'd be an issue but then if you could make it hit enough times the spark charges themselves would just deal enough dmg
I guess the big issue is how many hits you'd get against a boss, it'd be way too few
that's why i said it's weak as sht
well i mean compare to all the other thing you can do with glacier
fireball spark charge, lightning ele nova spark charge
wait nova maybe not, doesn't cost enough
hmm mad spoon or firestarter for lvling a lightning ms/fc spellbalde?
so close to greatness.. from a normal nemesis
spreading flames is all you need in the campaign, it wipes the trash all by itself
Hey guys, its my first time with mage. What build would you recommend for starter? Something for sorc? Or runemaster?
yah prolly swap out for spoon while bossing
we win!
Mana euqals might!
Indeed! Was a dumb gamba, bought the base for 40m lol, super lucky that it paid off tho
68 mana base tho. That's a shame
that's medium roll so not bad, couple with 13% implicit you got above average already
hard to find anything better than t hat from the market. my old unstable was 107 mana base but no mana slam, so i still went up by 200 mana with this. and the 13% inc mana made up for some as well
meanwhile me on cof: have 3 2lp cores, all of them are close to min roll mana
oof, soon surely 🙂
i'm getting to the point where upgrading is starting to get hard, only really need to upgrade my catalyst and 1 of my julras, after that the upgrades are gonna be scarce
I'm not even playing a mana stacking build on my sorc but with how this is going I'm not going to start any time soon
i got my CoF gear here as well XD once i get a wronwarp drop i might switch to cof

any way to calculate crit chance with spark charges
or are there no "hidden " crit amplifiers so the character sheet is correct?
damn, congrats!
if you have the crit chance passive in sorc tree, it has double effect on lightning spells, which spark charge is
Ig mana + mana% idols are off the table from MG so ig ima farm some lightless arbor today and hope i get some xd
Ah thanks, wish the UI would 1. let me actually see the spark charge tooltip and 2. show me crit chance with individual spells / damage schools
yeah I feel like LE still needs a full breakdown of every skill stat, it's very vague right now
I see guides telling me to use X or Y item to get crit cap , but I have no idea how to calculate it so it makes gearing hard. Am I at 80% crit with Spark Charges or am I at 120?
Assuming the 60% (120 for lightning) is increase, it's part of the large chunk of increase crit chance from everywhere around so I am guessing it is pushing me from like 500% crit chance increase to 560 or something like that, eys?
its just base * ur crit total
base is 5% unless you have something that affects it(skill nodes/implicits etc.)
base increases come in the form of "+5%" and crit totals are "30%"
you also need to calculate your base right? Checking your gear and other stuff that might influence it
safe to link character profile from letools here?
and then adding the additional crit chance from the sorc passive if you have it
i mean i dont want to get my account haxxed
I think they should just show every skill crit chance in the skill tool tip tbh, it'd be so much easier. Like for example how do I calculate the meteor crit chance since it's affected by more crit base from its skill tree? I need to calculate it by hand 😄
I would like something like D3Planner that has everything down to the 7th decimal calculated. But then again game has been out for 15 years or something and blizzard has been very open with every damage calculation. Maybe LEtools will get there sometime?

not only is the UI vague, it's also inconsistent AF in how the skills and mechanics actually work. I.e. there is literally no way to know if, and how, conversions work with subskills without testing each individual interaction
Like, why doesn't flame wave on firebrand convert to lightning, or ravaging aura on VC tree to fire, but every Volcanic Orb subskill converts correctly?
Well, because
yeah, one thing they could reference from grim dawn is the damage breakdown of every skill, this is super helpful for damage conversion
hmm enchant weap or static for my last skill
is it better to go for Firebrand or Mana Strike for Shatter Strike?
great success

maxrolls glacier sorc build legit?
Crit Formula should be:
(5% + flat crit chance) * (100% + sum of compatible increased critical strike chance)
Flat Crit chance = Everything that gives you a direct % Bonus
I mean... Ice Barrage. With infinite uptime from Frost Claw node. That's the first thing that came to my mind when I previewed the Spark Charge node. 30 charges per second on a single target.
This is silly...
was Volka's Razor changed from 10 total points to 6 points recently?
Hey all, does anyone know if I spec flame rush into blazing flux (lower mana cost and cd, doubled when you have 150% uncapped fire res), and then make flame rush into a lightning spell, do I now need 150% lightning res?
If I plan on changing my build up to use it, what build should I swap to?
Guys, short question: what's the order of "damage to mana before health"?
Ward-->Endurance--> Mana--> HP?
I'm looking for making a ignite build as sorc, it looks like a pretty good node but I don't see how to really use/fit black hole with anything else spellwise :/
I think it should be able to put a lot of ignite
Fireball is another decent option for ignite. But you need a lot of cast speed
yeah for now I see that like maybe flame reave casting fire ball or disintegrate casting fireball+volcanic orb could be good also
maybe just selfcasting fireball is cool too ?
damage dealt to mana is after DR, so armor, resistances and endurance will work before total damage dealt is calculated, then that number is divided by 5 to reduce your mana
Disintegrate casting fireball is a total meme. Don't do it
really ? sad
Yeah. It only casts after you finish your disintegrate cast. And the # it shoots is based on how long you channeled iirc. It's quite bad
I thought just casting for 6s and recasting it, while casting volcanic orb automatically too could be okay ? but it's kinda bad for clearing
I just arrived in monolith
it stack with the fireball one
anyway it looks clunky at best
yes, they also changed it from increased damage to more damage which is vastly superior
no idea honestly, something like meteor perhaps - but I'm not sure that you can cap crit with a staff, haven't looked at that build too closely. Probably not
capping crit with staff is a lot more accessible now with the help of phantom grip
you can just use it as an extra ignite applicator combined with your regular fireball/VO or what else you are using, but the added value isn't going to be all that great
yes I would need to build around the fire res to really make black hole pop off
which could be a bit weird if it doesn't benefit anything else
I would have liked being able to use meteor for my ignite build but there is no synergy there
I'll look into it tonight
it's not that you'll have to, it's also that this is the only payoff for fire res on sorc/mage in general, and that the payoff itself isn't great, and the maximum amount you can reasonably stack isn't stellar too
there is a reason why people who want that kind of playstyle go for glyph of dominion, its ignite scaling is much more reasonable
what do you think about converting ignite to shock with fireball gloves ? idk enough about all shock related synergy/unique
losing spreading flame hurt but I just got a 1 LP like litteraly 30s ago
shock is very easy to cap at 10 stacks even without dedicated efforts, just by having a spammable spell like fireball and one source of shock on hit somewhere
that said I don't think that lightning fireball is better than fire fireball in any way, I may be wrong though
oh wait I thought shock was a dot, I thought there was a dot for each element
it just doesn't have any real use case. Sure you have shock and that's good, but on fire you have throne and that's probably even better
electrify is the lightning dot but it's fairly rare especially on classes that aren't sentinel. Don't even ask why
I see, no fireball gloves for me then, I wanted to do dot sorcerer
I’m playing a mana stacking glacier build by “Curse”. Hit lvl 80 yesterday and started my first emp mono, I’ve got all res over capped and around 50% cs avoidance. All my gear is 72+ in level. I’m priority mana/intel/ spell and relies on ward and passives for ehp.
Getting 1 shot by skeleton bows off screen (physical) is this something I can mitigate by adding + armor % to a couple pieces of gear and drop some dps which is around 130k?
Is focus/mana strike interchangable with say glacier sorcerer? Trying it out and leveling with it and I really dislike mana strike but wondering if its just generally the better option
you can do ignite with fireball or VO (or FC I guess? idk) and frostbite with FC, IB, FC+IB, IB+SO, VO or some combination thereof
also there is the direct dot spell disintegrate but it's largely a meme, although it's still playable in principle
yes I could do frostbite for sure !
I tried disintegrate a bit, a bit clunky and not that good for my thing

I can swap frost claw to fire, but no way to proc it with spellcasting :/
does lb double dip on chileld and shocked enemies?
frostclaw ? I don't see shield anywhere
oh sorry I thought you were asking me a question about my thing xD
you are asking if you get bonus damage from shocked ennemies + the bonus from the lignthning aegis @stuck fable?
I wouldn't even call it double dip as it's different things, it's two different buff I think
no i meant does lb apply 12% damage to chilled and another 12% on shicked
tbh I have no idea
hey !! can someone help with my build ( frostbite frostclaw sorcerer) ? i can provide my planner, i don't know why i stuck around 200corruption + can't go higher
Yeah this one seems interesting, what loot filter did you use for this?
lvliong builds dont really need loot filters
I see the node you are talking about, I don't think it double dip, since it's written "or"
nevermind it says it does
why are you asking since it's written clearly ? maybe you can't believe such a good deal xD
I think it would work, lightning blast doesn't have the most insane base damage, so maybe it's not too overpowered
also things you apply can be strong, like frailty so maybe having to chill AND shock is a opportunity cost too
after all you only have two suffixe on your weapon
please ?
I used this one, its supposed to be good, but im also stuck around 200. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RoQk84Qcds&t=454s
There is a lvl 50/80 lootfilter on the build. I believe the author is updating the build guide today.
Oh I see, I am blind, thanks! Think I like this over the maxroll version
corruption is mostly about defensive layer, just try to see what you can do or give up to be more tanky
It was a breeze to lvl with
Yeah running out of mana constantly and having to spam mana strike was annoying me beyond belief
yea but this one isn't frostbite i did see it, it's the build i'll be goin if i can't find why my frostbite build doesn't work
here is my planner : https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/ymzy/character/Ymzy,
phys res is the most important one, but idk anything about your build so I cant help
okk so i should capp my res ?
i have void, necrotic and fire capped right now
so yeah definitely aim for phys
but 0% poison and phys*
also try to invest more into defensive stuff maybe, like passives
yes
If we use an item that gives + necrotic spell damage and we are casting meteor or static, does that necrotic spell damage convert to the damage type of the spell or it stats necrotic?
stays necrotic
any good starter build for mage?
can someone explain me why i can't add level of frost claw by forging in this case ?
isn't it possible on all the relics ?
no, only possible on mage-only relics
:/
Rip
I don't really pick up chalices anymore for that very reason...unless they're somehow godly
yea it's fine :/ i did this instead
Decent until you find something better
yea , i needed the phys upgrade ( i had 0% phys resistance )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqqtAIsfpWw
anyone checked out this build before? it looks promising.
I'm running fire disintegrate on my sorc rn. Gear is very subpar. Currently at about 500 corr, at this level my survivability mandates actually paying attention to sh it and poison nemesis is a PITA
yeah but that aura?
of course you pick up fire aura, why wouldn't you? It's literally free on this build
the "guide" is extremely subpar and I cba watching through the video attentively right now, but it generally feels to be the same build
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A8zDJDgB
something on le tools isn't tooling cause in game I'm at over 1k mana, also the time glass tech is experimental and honestly it seems to be inferior to a high roll oracles

the weapon is fairly bad but I don't have a better one, it's missing the red ring and a +5 disintegrate knowledge too
hmm I see. I play warlock. Wanted to play plasmaorb runemaster but too lazy for that build lol
seems like you need to press 55 buttons to play that build 😄
do you actually? Haven't really played it but it looks just like your regular RM build, do nothing -> your char plays itself
plasma orb? have you ever seen the build?
I've seen a few, do you mean the variants where you manually check the runes?
I don't think the character plays itself 😄
well maybe it plays itself a little less than some absolutely braindead builds, but come on man, this is still an arpg
I guess you can in fact do worse in this regard with some builds that are literally walking simulator like judgment aura, if it's still viable at all after all the nerfs
Is it possible to use Firebrand (or Mana Strike) to trigger Warden's Echo for casting Frost Claw, and then have Frost Claw trigger Elemental Nova using Celestial Conflux? The tooltip for Celestial Conflux doesn't say a direct cast of Frost Claw is needed, but that doesn't mean the chain of casting would work
should be possible
Yeah, it works on procs
Interesting, could be fun, do you know if anyone played around with that already?
Question why do we take the refresh cast node on enchant weap when NumLock exist?
It was popular last patch
The frost claw nova was but that was a direct cast for frost claw, not a mele that chained which I think is new this cycle, right?
Made a frozen orb build without spark charges https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yIRz3-WDZc , it is not quite as strong, but could probably be improved on quite a bit.
Anyone got CoF based filter for @proven haven frostclav static orb build?
No.. mana strikes proccing FC was a thing last patch..
Where can I find wrong warp?
I did a lot of chain casting with Melee into FC into other spells in 1.0, it does work. I got my best results using Dragorath to also proc LB, but you could add Nova too
I am CoF, I'll have a filter for it tonight
Ah okay thanks, got that mixed up I was just following guides last cycle. I’ll play around with it since I got super lucky with a T7 frost claw item that I want to make the most of
anywhere, cof unique wand prophecy
Here was 1.0 setup https://youtu.be/5FRL3YEL_vw this cycle you probably want to go spellblade but same idea applies
Much appreciated thank you!
Need some opinions, I'm currently running a ward build with double ring of the third eye, I got a red ring that rolled poorly on nemesis so basically 0LP, would it still be better for tankyness than a 3LP ring of the third eye
as sorcerer is going hp + mana taken before life worth against just running ward ?
I'm not really using mana a lot
Dope, thanks! Just made the switch from MG (as its dead af) to CoF
Depends on your build, some gave enough ward to make mana shielding not worth it, others are more pressed to find defensive layers
I"'m almost full mana all the time
sorc has 2 options to utilize mana to gain extra ward so no reason not to take advantage of that. If you are going full mana taken before life, sometimes you take a big 5k hit and all your mana will be gone
I'm playing fireball ignite so I can't really use spell dmg modifier :/ I think
😮
i've decided crit damage reduction/avoidance is a waste of an affix slot
true. Just dont get hit :5head
just seems like a ridiculous investment since mobs only have 5% crit chance and 200% multi
just avoid crit rate affix echos i guess
a 200% multi is pretty deadly on high difficulty
that's why you're fine and POP, disappeared
ofc but you can get some serious armour instead
I don't think the inverstment is huge though, isn't there a blessing ?
i also think ppl kinda overrate crit mitigation a little bit. But it's not that hard to cap tho so 🤷🏽♂️
hybrid armour/crit mitigation affix only gives like 15-20% less armor then flat armor affix so
i was just flip flopping on my gear getting an insane craft that didn't have crit reduction on chest
in any arpg damage can get so crazy you don't want to get modifier on mobs you could avoid
but now i've gaslit myself into being happy about using it
you can survive without it yeah
you can just crit reduction on belt/boots since they give extra armour
Having one piece of crit damage reduction (instead of crit avoidance) also makes it a lot more reasonable.
And remember, if you're applying Blind now, there's no reason to build crit reduction
i think it's more about the point of being 80% unique geared, i think crit reduction is the first thing to drop
if you were to drop anything
you will never realistically get enough armor where mobs stop oneshotting you on crits, or close to it
i hate this chestpiece, all garbo roll lp 1
I hope one day they buff alluvion ;/
which mobs and attacks though, there's not many that's the case that aren't avoidable, getting 5%'ed on a boss would suck but it'd be rare enough
If I take the frozen orb nodes for volcanic orb does that convert everything to cold like explosive ground?
gold elemental's punch
lightning elemental's laser
snow wolf's unseeable breath & fast leap attacks
naga assassin's slash
osprix's cleave
i die to these dogshit overtuned mobs on a daily basis
should be
yes
Gamers
anyone can help me on lightless harbor?
what would you say is the better leveling/Act run build? Glacier(Maxroll) or Frost Claw/Nova ?(Icy)
glacier, taking just frostclaw in the beginning on brand new cycle, without any twink gear is disgustingly slow
Would a red ring with 0 lp be better for tankiness than a 3lp ring of the third eye?
depends if u hit the attributes
I do hit the attributes
static orb ppl, do you manage to OS 300 corruption bosses & harbingers ? My damage seems lacking
you need to be right next to the boss to shotgun
What I'm asking is basically will the 10% dmg reduction from a red ring be worth the loss of ward and extra stats from a 3LP ring of the third eye
Which if perfect rolls will be 16 int, 95% spell dmg and 115% shred armor chance
I am, my static orb tooltip is ~250k, might be too low ?
Yeah, lacking mana or skill level i think
I'm at 1286 mana, maybe a tad low
Sorc doesnt use red ring unless you are going full defensive to push arena
You can use the buff from flame ward tree to add burst damage, or use unspecd arcane ascendence. Moat likely you are missing t6 int stardial
Nice staff 😮
int is better than mana on julra's rings ?
I'm not sorc, I'm spellblade, and also no, I want defense purely to push corruption
My ring of the third eye here is purely for ward so that I can tank hits, my question is whether a red ring will help me survive better than the extra ward generation from ring of the third eye
did you drop the red ring or are you considering buying one?
I dropped, am in cof
Is shatteretrike proc frost claw viable?
I tried it, felt ass, then I went to firebrand, felt good even at 300 corruption, then my friend told me to try shatterstrike w/ spark charge, feels great, pushing at 600 corruption rn
try putting the ring into a nemesis and see what you get
Already did, my original post a few hours ago which no one replied to stated that it's basically a 0LP red ring cuz it rolled poison dmg
Can you convert shatteretike to lightning?
No
But also you wouldn't want to anyway cuz the chill is really nice
Huh I see. That’s a shame cause 50% chance to cast frost claw and the melle to spell dmg conversion made it seem really good ha
Red ring is better i think
well i use my red ring but my resists will go under 75% if i take it off so i havent tested anything else
👍 pog
Hey guys, looking for some feedback on this build: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oP57eqpA
Idea is a fire disintegrate focused build purely for lazers. I am in a bit of a wall at 100 monos and am wondering if I just need to stack more int on gear or get more defensive layers or if my skills are bad. Any help is appreciated!

the gear here isn't mine it's just example gear btw
How does calculated destruction work? Trying to hit 100 crit chance for glacier build, equipped a new piece with 4 extra intel yet my crit chance goes up by 2% but isnt it meant to be 3% per 1 intel
It's 3% increased per intelligence.
Your base crit chance is 5% so each point will increase that base by 3% of it's value (.15%) There are sources of increased base crit chance that can boost that a lot, like skill nodes, catalysts, rune daggers and some unique gear.
For example, if you have 4 points in the meteor node that grants you base crit (+8%), your total base crit will be 13% and so each int point gives you .39% crit. You can tell the difference on gear and passives and stuff because things that add base crit will always be "+X%" and often reference "base" crit chance, whereas things that increase your crit chance will always be "X% Increased" and usually have a lot higher values.
Ahh ok that amkes sense now, thanks for the explanation. I never was good at understanding the wording and multiplicative/additive. Cheers!
For sure! ARPG math gets real complex when you get into the specifics like that
anyone have any suggestions for leveling a sorc that doesnt involve glacier?
I've got all the twink gear too
Standing still = death sentence in this game so...
As I've found with my fireball build. Rip fireball meteor is my new best friend
I have a lot of re-gearing to do
yea; although you can dash and flame dash out of AA
I have like no mana gear rn
@sly dagger yo, for spark charge shatter strike, do i still take 4 points in cold steel?
sry to bother
Don't remember by name, can you tell me where that is in whatever skill or passive tree it belongs to
Nvm found it, no you do not take it cuz you're not dual wielding swords, the best weapon would be dragorath's dagger and fragment of the enigma
hmmm i see, i should avoid taking specific dmg like cold% or lightning% but elemental % to affect both right
other than int stacking
Are there any good lightning leveling builds or is it just avalanche that tops it all?
Avalanche? Isn't that a primalist thing
oups i meant glacier. Gimme a break they are both ice 😄
Fair enough lol
Lightning and elemental are both really good for the build I'm doing
does it hard focus on spark charge 🧐 cuz u know shatter cold spark lightning
No, but it does focus on it a decent bit, mainly to get 100% chance to get spark charge on melee hit
My main dmg is spark charge, shatterstrike procs it but also does a lot of dmg on it's own
o so i should take the passive nodes for those as well eh
Check dms I sent you the build guide I made, I made it extremely precise to what I want to do
how can you tell what your crit chance is for a specific spell?
anyone know if edict of the scion applies to all hits or just initial? like if i use hydrahedron, does each hit the hydra does give me ward?
Frozen orb spark charge seems pretty lit and I miss frozen orb from D2
my spark charge build struggles to kill a harbringer -_-
Can anyone help me figure out what roll I need on a peak of the mountain to retain 100% effective crit? https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/planner/8m74603e
ngl man I don't even know what you are trying to do there, you have a lot of weird choices in passives, skill tree and even skill selection
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A8zDJDgB this is my build that I linked above, currently around 500 corr although the defenses start to feel inadequate at this level

Hi all
Does the exiled mage mad alchemist farm still work?
I can't find necropolis streets anywhere after filling out an entire echo
And when I reload into an echo with a close exiled mage spawn the spawn isn't there
Am I doing something wrong or was this changed?
Thank you and have a nice day
they fixed it a while ago
why is wrongwrap so strong? arent there any alternatives?
Thank you ashunava seemed a bit too op
Have a nice day
its like 200+% spell damage plus a bunch of cast speed and haste, and a stun that works relaly well on bosses so it kinda goes into any build that uses teleport
Ladle is the other unique that gets used a lot if you can get it with decent LP cause it's just a 42% more damage multiplier (multiplicative with everything else) plus whatever LP stats you can get
Thanks.
Are there any other alternatives for mapping to glacier?
did anyone else randomly dc and unable to get back in
nvm. random patch came out
same thing
yo, if i use Flame Walker , fire shred res change into cold res shred ?
same boat Drew - just have to wait until it is resolved
sadge. only have like an hour to play rn
feel you! 100% hopefully resolved soon
I had that happen earlier as well, scared me. Logged out and back in and was fixed
yeee i've done it a few times. logging in is taking ages atm
rip got a fragment off normal nemesis... + chance to shock and wps... if would be perfect if it were freeze chance or int
rip srever, rip my character xD wtf?
first lost mage fragment... have disco ball skill sigh
good thing i have my drops saved i hope
got it a few minutes before server borks
Just a remined that the only real class is Sentinel
Ok?
servers coming back ?
and of course, when it crashed, i was moving an item from my stash to my character... a good item...
If they do a minor rollback, it'll still be in your stash
ok let s hope, thx !
They likely do database backups on a schedule, i.e. every 20 min or so
Assuming they rollback just one backup, it'll go to wherever your item was 20min prior to crash
Anyone else having issues early/normal mono's as glacier sorc? Currently level 77
Mostly the bosses
Which mastery for a spark charge build ?
Theres a few ways to build this but I prefer sorc for a headstart on the mana
Ok thx !
I did this one last cycle and really liked it https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/spark-charge-runemaster-guide
is the login queue fake or not
yeah i know but it's just frozen on the same #, idk if it's a real queue
Since they haven't announced that the servers are back up, I would assume it's not an actual queue
dunno but it was fine until i logged out
Thanks, I chose Sorc mastery already 😛 From the looks of it its kinda similar playstyle
sadge servers still dead
switched from glacier to a build with static orb and meteor and havent had a problem since, static orbs damage scales with your max mana so it has way more damage and when you run out of mana you just use focus and get it all back in seconds glacier is still used but just for mob clearing
Is it a mana issue? If youre running mana strike, Id switch over to Focus now that youre in Monos. Work on getting 100% crit chance on glacier (use LE tools and look at char sheet in build planned to see if youre at 100%, for my personal setup its around 50% on my char sheet) and get your mana as high as you can, upwards of 800 to 1000
Partially mana and just feels super slow. My max mana is not quite 500 yet. I just picked up focus to see if that'll help, but the mono bosses are a problem. i'm almost completely res capped, but not quite
I'm debating on trying one of the spark frostclaw builds and seeing how it goes
It shouldnt feel that slow imo, like its not super zoom blade dancer but your damage should be pretty stronk naturally
It could just be a skill issue on my part. I'll review the maxroll guide and watch a video. Thanks!
I got rid of the big boom part of glacier for the 80% mana reduction till i had 900ish mana, damage is lower if you spec only middle one but it gets the job done early corruption
no need for focus that way too
I can give that a try. Thank you
Don’t do it. You’ll never wanna play cold again 😂😂
is there any way of increasing spell mana cost outside of skill tree?
Horns of uhkeiros
gate staff bases have implicits that increase spell damage, i think the range is 20 - 52% increase
game still down 😦
hey how we can get this 3 stats modifier
Prayer.
is it only drops? or it can use like glyph/rune/something like that
You can pretty much count on never getting those 3 affixes at T7 on any weapon
i mean if even isnt T7 , can we add another 3 stats on the weapon?
or it comes only from drop
No, that's 3 stats already, so you can only add one more
since I can't play I'm playing on an offline necromancer that I haven't touched since day 1. hilarious how clueless I was l0l
best i can offer
this guy has absolutely nothing
Minion stat seal, vendor

i'm guessing crit chance is actually bad for spellblade
it's too free in tree
does anything else play cold melee
You can probably do cold melee werebear swipe with a Shattered Lance build
Has anyone tried actionRPGs righteous fire build? It uses fire aura and designate.
How much corruption represent a gain of 1100% hp on mobs ? I can't find a scale
hey, looking at your disintegrate build, why did you take Calculated Destruction? Purely for more int? Seems like the "passive" of it doesn't work with the build right, since crit chance does nothing for it as you don't use ignivar's head
it's not stupid to think low life melee spellblade is the best way to push higher is it?
considering the main issue is no ward generation when not attacking
Last cycle it was the best way to do it
Exsanguinous, lsl, experimental ward on missing hp and idr what else
sounds about right, also thinking about snowblind to apply blind as my crit avoidance
did they nerf anything else about low life or was it just the 10k ward "cap"
Chains of ulkeros or whatever the name is that gives ward instead of hp on potion
Yes 10k sounds about right, even more the higher the hp you had, that’s what stopped spellblade to go past a certain corruption
whats the quickest way to farm exalted relic
cof
anyone can point a glacier sorc build except the maxroll one?
dumb question but for the stabiliity bonus if u complete it do u get extra loot for the monolith item
or can i just rush it and get the same loot
you get more loot from the chest on the side if you max the stabily but the monolith loot it's the same
You want “ThecurseBG”s build
Can find him on YouTube 🙂
Is there a good frostclaw Runemaster build I can follow?
Is the proc any good on it?
would allow you to ramp to 3-4k mana with static orb i think
Meh.. if you want a manastack S.Orb -- why not just use Triboelectra then?
I was curious about the proc specifically though.
higher total mana higher orb dmg
+3 skill levels will give you more damage via the nodes
And off-hand is much more useful too
true, but i like celestial doom
I like it too, in essence. That's why I ask about the proc
Did you try it?
yes
Btw, do you guys think it's realistic to make a viable Black Hole build, where BH serves as a boss killer? (No Meteor)
so close for a perfect roll for my spellblade.. freeze chance or int over shock chance
I didnt play fireball but sorcerer is VERY strong. I used fireball till about 20 then switched to meteor. Now i'm lightning tho.
anybody got a good loot filter they dont mind sharing for glacier mana stacking build?
better off with 125% spark charge damage 0lp anyway
is there synergy between enchant weapon and meteor? or should i pick ascendance ,sorc class btw
can yomeone help me ?
i goit scales of eterra but this debuff is sooo anyoing how can i remove it ? it gives 80 lesss cold dmg
what is the best build for the beginning for sorc rn?
you need to play with two different elements to make the scales work
gah was hoping that int train continued like the disco ball.. guess i can make fire sorc coc meteor now
coc meteor uses the orb?
well.. orb crits
you still have 7 WW though
yah int is t2 and poison is t2.. not holding much faith in getting t7 int
if it continues upgrading the int that's super solid
yah.. or i can run a flame rush rm with disco
I got lucky with a +15 int and kept using it, but this bonus to the orb is rly cool too actually
might be better than the sorc
whats better for frost claw with the triggered elemental nova, sorcerer or runemaster?
yes, mainly for the int. I'm still debating on going back to 1h + ignivar's but I don't think that I can afford to swap to crit-focused bases cause that will tank my survivability too much and it's already fairly weak on this build as is. Maybe when my overall gear is much improved, although I think I'll swap out of the build soon (for some other jank no doubt) while I'm rolling that disintegrate Knowledge
how much did sorcerer get buffed in 1.1?
not that much compared to how absurdly busted some builds were in 1.0
and how should i manage that ? mine is fire and cold ...
actually 99% of builds that use the scales will use a variant that does not trigger from their spell school at all and just use its base as a stat stick
so in this case your fire and cold scales are usable in an all lightning build
which is both sad and hilarious
so i have to find the lightning fire do not trigger the debuff?
that's actually hilarious
it's after all a sh!tton of Int
i chose sorcerer
6% flat crit, 22 int, 20 cast speed at a high roll - and while its lpl is high that's less of a problem now with nemesis
if it turns out that runemaster is better ill make a new character later
so you can also roll into chance to shock and slow attackers for free
frost claw feels weird to use
frost claw is the easiest way to hit a lot
i just unlocked it and im just saying it feels weird to use
maybe its because it looks like its projectiles but its actually an aoe
oh wait theres a node that turns it into a line of projectiles
help pick my build. should i go spellblade, sorc or runemaster
sorc
skill?
yeah you need a lot of nodes for it to become a flurry of (seeking) hits
Meteor for lvling.
Frost claw with arcane current and light conversion once you can switch. Dragaroths claw and the lagon farmable relic are bonkers. As is the enigma off hand. Everything else can be whatever you want. Nothing required.
ty
yw
can you kill aberroth without legendaries ? I'm losing half my keys due to bugs, the other half trying to learn T4 Julra lol
depends on your build, aberoth is largely a skill check too
u can ofc , i did it with just omnis , AND on a melee swarmblade
tbh that "melee swarmblade" build killed it in like 3 sec before the fix
yeah? i did it after the patch with just exalted gear and 1 omni
Hey! I am playing static orb mana stack build and I just got the worst nemesis buff on my stormcarver. I have these 2 relics right now. Which one do you think is better for either Frost Claw or static orb?
I have red ring but I dont get 180 stats with either.
What's a better slam for glacier sorcerer on a unstable core chestpiece - flat mana or mana %?
your stormcarver would still give you more damage than the other relic. But yeah those are much better slams on the right, if you need the +1 all skills bad you could keep using this before crafting a better stormcarver. I guess it depends on whether you're starved for skill points or not
Why do people use meteor/glacier on static orb builds? I don't see any way to convert them all to one element?
Well, orb I know how ot, but meteor can't go frost
it's an elemental build, you go for maximum mana, crit chance, crit multiplier, spell dmg, and you're set. It was already good before 1.1 but became bonkers with all the mana changes sorc got in 1.1
I have +2 static orb on head and an unstable core with +1 so I think I am good
yeah then I'd go for your stormcarver even with a bad slam, it's a huge dps boost
Is it the light pen / flat damage that's the big part?
I played frost claw untill a few days ago and the weavers will was insane there - It was also the first weavers will relic I found haha. Godsent luck
FC and the charges? with Enigma getting +15 int is way way better yeah
Exactly
Mana regen actually nice when mapping (right now I swap enigma and relic when doing that)
and then swap to stormcarver + crystal skull for bosses
but for the orb, more flat spell dmg with the huge mana boost matters more, lightning pen is good too and more shock chance means you'll reduce the enemy lightning res quicker, I mean everything on this item is good
the one shot gameplay I see 😄
yes I wanted to try it! I managed to kill T4 julra in 1 phase but it was barely. I still have mostly scavanged old FC gear that I use, but I had a wrongwarp and confluence of fate lying in bags so I'd tought I give it a shot
I wanna see if I can get aberrot down to not a 4 min fight, even tho I love it, I wanna blast it and farm xD
use this for dmg
holy moly, nice! I got a 1 LP that rolled resistance, not mana or CSM 😦
and my 1 LP wrongwarp rolled 77% stun resistance, instead of mana -> ward or csm again. 😦
I have a Question. And I'm not that sure if I'm missing something:
Defences on a meteor/ vo lvl sorc. ( For simplicity let's say without uniques)
Resistances, crit avoid/ les crit dmg is obvious.
Right know I'm around 2k health and 2k ward. Still i often feel massively squishy.
Is there an easy way to get more armor on an sorc or something?
Or is that normal, that you need exorbitantly big ward reg/ gen to survive hard hitting stuff?
get these boots
this move speed is 😍
Like I said. Without uniques. Of course you can go with the classics and call it a day
I think 2 K ward is a bit low even without uniques, did you take all the ward passives?
The only one i doesn't have right now is the mana with mana cost. Or maybe i have not enough mana that it's viable?
are you always out of mana?
Negative
Can Show you the build via pn in a few minutes?
Arcane insight also but I assume you have it
yeah sure, I don't play this exact build though, just trying to help with this ward issue 🙂
But when you see it on the current state the help is easier 😉 gonna pn you in a few minutes
yeah np
whats the approx chance of a glyph of despair succesfully sealing a T3 affix?
45% if I recall
can you get PN's? right now it doesn't set it
if I recall (assuming 4 affixes om the item, I think that matters). I cant find when googling so..
t1 - 100%
T2 - 75%
T3 - 45%
T4 - 15%
thanks Winter!
ah sorry I deactivated before, I reactivated now
alright. thanks!
still not working 🤣
OK I think I found the right setting lmao, should be OK now
lmao nemesis just got me a T7 int and T6 shatter strike armor and i am playing shatter strike
While my guy casually putting +melee Void damage to a celestial doom XD
- health regen on 3 twisted hearts in a row
rip my erased mage final form t7 disco t5 int
is it a good armour ? are ppl using it ?
I guess it's a bit better for druid or sentinel
Yeah, it's pretty good. I just ignore all the stuff about static on it 99% of the time
I found an almost perfectly rolled unstable core, 0LP, for 5 million gold. Literally the rolls on this thing alone should have made it worth 500m+.
I put it into a nemesis machine to gamble on whether it would get additional mana, or to get LP for a slam. That failed.
It is still by far better than what I had on and now I have 1326 mana.. lmao.
ty
hey i have that one too, but t5 poison resistance

my build is really coming online and snowballing now that I have this much mana
and there's a lot of room left to gain more, too.
btw does it use static mana cost? If it does, then it seems to be strictly detrimental to actual static builds lol
I actually have no idea, either way it's probably just bad for actual static builds... unless you want to try and make it a retaliation/thorns build 😂
It doesn't use the mana cost so you could in theory run it to passive trigger static with the +1 spell dmg for mana cost node
slammin n jammin
it's good. In the sense that it's a spark charge build and spark charges are OP AF and strictly better than anything you could be doing with SS itself
interesting, is there a better direction to take spellsword
probably not
all sb theme builds are mid at best since they don't have busted uniques that just give you a million percent more damage for not doing anything specific
but you can build direct damage SS, frostbite SS (although it's still bugged/glitchy), or surge with decent success
flame reave is big meme and so are any non-spark charges proc builds but you can still play it in low corruption
did they lessen Nemesis spawn?
they buffed it in higher corruption, "higher" in the loose sense here
does enemy armor affect dot dmg?
Enemies don't actually have armor, but also no, armor doesn't affect dot dmg
ok. has anyone ever done a crit based hydra build? and is there a way to proc spreading flames using hydra?
does area for aoe skills affect hydra's explosions? or does it not really affect the hydrahedron cast at all?
If you check the tags for hydra, it'll tell you if it has the Area tag, then it'll scale something on it. I've never used it though so IDK
it does, it's why i spec into it. but a thought crossed my mind. not sure if it's scaling the explosion aoe, which is what i wanted. but dont entirely feel like i'm seing that. if that's the case i can move several points around
Sometimes it can be hard to see the the affect of increased AOE stuff since it doesn't scale linearly
And also there's a bug with ground indicators not updating right now, so you REALLY can't see it.
so it could be happening, i'm just not seeing it. my other question is there a way to add spreading flames to it? or to fire attacks in general?
if the only way is a unique weapon, helmet, or relic, those slots are taken on my build lol
my build is using torch of the pontifex, box of hydrae, and calamity
Only ways I can think of are a couple unique weapons and then a sorcerer node that other classes can't get. You can also get 100% spreading flames chance on fireball though, so you could use that as an applicator
Not sure why you want it specifically, it doesn't really do too much damage compared to lots of ignite stacks.
thought it'd help spread ignite
Nope, it's a totally unrelated ailment.
Good afternoon full Glacier mages! Question for you - how are you handling higher level boss fights while working to mana stack your gear? Are you giving up Frostwall and/or Flameward for Focus (which, ouch! - hurts without FW!? Running around waiting for your mana to return? Looking at switching to Frost Claw? Inquiring minds want to know!
lolwut. this aint even its final form.
Is there a nice lightning blast build for sorc?
ok which dev did you promise to save yourself for?
xD a shame its not Mad Alch Ladle
OH MY GOD. if I crash zoning into the last refuge outskirts one more time..
I've crashed over and over on this same zone trying to progress the story.
First LP4
sorry if this was asked recently, i just got back on after the 2 patches. Did mana stacking sorc for static orb get nerfed? used to be able to 1 shot aberroth. Cant do it anymore
can someone here hook me up with a teleport to end of time? i've crashed 6 times trying to get thru this zone?
Hey, I have a problem with the drop of one item in Strands of Souls, my normal level is at lvl 58 and the enhanced one at lvl 100, and I've already killed the boss xxx times and it still doesn't drop... can someone tell me what to do? Or is there only one way to kill the boss and hope for a miracle?
anyone know which is considered to be the best variant of mana stack sorc?
Are you killing the Abomination in Empowered Monoliths? It doesn't drop in the normal one.
New question. Flameward has Skills, that give you -% dmg taken while it lasts. does that only trigger with the retaliation-buff? or also with the ward-buff
It's the "flame ward" buff that gives you DR and procs the retaliation spell
yes...
On alts, you dont have to clear all the regular monos any more right? I've just cleared fall of the outcasts but looks like I still have to do the rest?
thanks! I thought about getting the armor buffs from the left side of the skill tree. but for that short duration... :/ there is the ward bonus better, i think
Hi guys, i'm playing runemaster frostbite frostclaw rn, but i have huge mana issue, i play this tree on FC, i have around 14 mana cost on FrostClaw, what do i do wrong pls ?
I play with nova, but it costs 0 so the loss of mana doesn't come from there
nice game
disconect every 10min with 30ping
It took me 17 powered kills before I got one. Godspeed
Hi guys im new to this game and choosed the spellblade i want to make my own build and thought about something like a full fire build where i spam this fire reaver thing and go in melee to push shield and mana is this kinda viable?
Or do i need to follow the meta to play the endgame
it's okay
Found these on my offline save for my int/mana stacking sorc 🙂
For glacier mage- pretty much the maxroll one hehe-, what are some items that might help you run faster in monos? Thinking run speed is what limiting now for a lto of the lower end monos that I have to do over again
Holy crap lol
Yeah you do, except you can skip two of the three level 90 monos. You can blast through all of them now way faster than you can level, though. For each normal mono whenever you're ready to move to the next, you can literally run one echo, use one glyph of envy, and then run the three quest echoes.
gotcha, thanks
What's the point of maxroll putting 5 points in to unsealed mana for their glacier build?
Is arcane ascendance a good spell for the leveling build? What's a better alternative I can use?
whats the build for sorcs this league?
glacier
When you put your warp wand in for lp swap with t7 fast speed or multi and get t1 cold res sad everytime
you need at least 18 mana regen, 2 idols that has around 10% mana efficiency on FC and 4 points on spark on celerity node
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/planner/o85cy06r can anyone take a look at my glacier sorcerer and tell me if they see any issues, or what I should work on next? besides red rings or orians eye bc I dont want to invest 200mil-600mil for a poorly rolled LP0
Ty, I don't have the points on spark on celerity nodes bc I play frostbite rn, but I think I'll go lightning, it seems easier to manage mana with this node
anyone got any recommendations for leveling as spellblade? just suck it up?
sunwreathe flamereave pretty nice for levelling
only low 20s atm. i'll poke around with that when i hit the min req for the sunwreathe.
ty.
I have a sorc that's my first toon of the cycle and followed the maxroll leveling guide - when can I transition to mana stack?
how are you using not mage prefix on the peak?
sorry what do you mean?
% mana
The peak is not a mage specific hat.
i mean this prefix should not work for mage
you can slam percent mana and flat mana on to the same helmet.
from a base that is specifically not a mage base because mage bases can't have those stats. and then beyond that point you can equip it
it doesnt make the peak class specific?
the Max roll guide suggested that I slam flat mana and then reduced bonus damage taken from crits into my hat. and I did make one of those. but then if you notice I slammed t7 of that affix into my belt. so then between that and talents I'm at 95% almost capped without having that slammed into the hat at all. then my friend suggested I try to see if percent mana was available and turns out in a janky way it is available
I don't know if this is an oversight on behalf of the developers, but I've told you what I did and yes it does work.
it sound very broken for static orb. i guess its a bug
I have about 1,400 mana right now. it's possible to get to like 2,000 mana even without having percent mana slammed into your hat.
i know. i have more than 2k
Max mana roll unstable core with tier 7 mana slammed into it, and Max mana roll Orion's amulet with tier 7 mana slammed into it is like almost 600 flat mana on its own
not that either of those are really possible without freakish luck right now lol
wow can you upload your character to the Max roll er so I can see your gear?

I have a sorc that's my first toon of the cycle and followed the maxroll leveling guide - when can I transition to mana stack?
you can mana stack from the begining
you need mana for glacier/coc meteor+static orb/fc+static orb/meteor so you will have plenty of builds to choose
what's the strongest glacier variant?
i know that the most popular is cocmeteor static orb. atleast it was that way few days ago
where can i find the cocmeteor build
is firebrand's crit multi global bonus working? I doesn't seem to appear to me on the character sheet
Is the prismatic gaze a decent damage boost for spark charge frost claw build?
It only works when consuming it with another skill, so it does not show on the sheet
Oh nvm you mean the node after the Spell damage conversion, that I'm not sure.
But I think that one is Crit multi only for spells, which does not show up on character sheet either.
I just found a nearly perfectly rolled (on all rolls) LP0 unstable core and I have just placed it in the nemesis machine for empowering, wish me luck fellas
We're talking 13 out of 14% mana, 148 out of 150 spell damage, and 117 out of 120 flat mana... and I sniped this thing off the bazaar for 2 million o.o
thanks! I'm wondering if having 100% spark charge chance on mana strike is better than using firebrand altogether
noob here (we all gotta start somewhere)... what is the nemesis machine (as mentioned in the second post above)?
new seasonal mechanic that lets you take uniques and potentially either add legendary potential to them or have them randomly slam a random stat or a few onto that item
That's the thing in the Forge, right?
It's the encounter that lets you pick banish, challenge, or empower. If it spawns with an egg, you can slot in any 0 LP unique you want to empower it twice
no thats something different, what father toast just said explains it.
oh that. ok thank you!
omg it landed at least adding lp1 to it, theres a chance I won the lottery here.
any frost claw spark sorcs here?
was going to slam a 2lp ladle and can't decide between multi & spell crit or multi and hybrid mana ward, crit capped at the moment, but using a prismatic gaze and phantom grip that might be worth taking off later if throwing spell crit on it? not sure
are you using mana strike? that definitely helps keep the mana up. I'm working on that build right now (lvl 59) and so far haven't needed much mana increase using the mana strike.
what lvl are you?
98
oh, well that may be different. I only have 110 mana 😄
I use Flame Ward foor my defense.
I do need to get my mana up.
But a couple of swipes with Mana Strike get me full again.
I'm at the Merchants Guild or Circle of Fortune choice. Which one is best? Merchants Guld?
Depends how you want to play
is this the chanel/ server where I can look for build help on how to improve/ fix my manastacker ?
Ok, I guess I'll have to do some reading. Thanks!
CoF is better for the average player and gives you a traditional looting arpg experience
MG can speed up how long it takes you to make a build and you need to spend time on the auction house
id recommend CoF
So MG is the bigger brain move
not necessarily
even the vast majority of super experienced streamers are CoF
plus MG is dealing with the gold dupe exploit right now so prices are completely broken
dupe doesn't really change anything, you need to sell a good item to join the economy starting late either way
nothing more than a playstyle choice really
thanks for the insight everyone.
A lot of the top streamers do HC, so MG doesn't make a lot of sense
Hey guys, there are so many glacier mana stack build out now. Can someone suggest a build guide or planner that's good for my first toon of the cycle without any uniques or good gears?
The maxroll Glacier leveling build is really good
Already lv70
Then you can just follow the Glacier endgame build. That's going to be tbe best build to follow while you are getting gear
how are you glacie rsorcs sustaining mana on bosses i dont get it? i run around just kiting forever waiting to regen lol
Hmm glacier is boring at...
now use it to trigger meteor for a change of flavor
smack the boss with mana strike to get your mana back
guys which would you equip as a glacier sorcerer?
youll get 70 mana back every hit once you get all the mana passives
also glacier restores 1% of your max mana on crit
I am assuming this is once you are like near 2k mana?
nah 15 points into mana strike
arcanist blade + mana drain + critical mana + and then crit rejuv to make critting practically free
can you elaborate? are those talents?
ye passives inside mana strike tree
I have about 1400 mana and am basically just relying on the 1% to refill
ye mana strike is a last resort (or earlygame resort) when that 1% cant sustain your own casts
so I am at the point where I can usually maintain my mana if mobs cooperate with positioning, glacier costs 46 mana, 1% of 1400 is 14, glacier crits 3x, on one target thats 42 mana back plus the 100% chance of instant 20% mana back on cast
pog
extra mana beyond this will mean that successful triple hits will restore mana instead of just being mana neutral, and misses and partial misses will become more acceptable
do you even use mana strike at all? or its all glacier even in bosses?
so uh maybe I dont need this mana strike, idk what I would drop to get it. I use everything on my bars.
ic ye then ignore that bit xD
one moment let me update my maxroll planner and link for you what I have currently lol
also do you know which of the 2 necks i linked up there is better? I failed a t7 mana slam on that 2LP orions eye and I am so salty about it.. lost a 1.5 billion gold gamble
also i just realized mana strike and glacier have the same passive name but for 2 different effects lel
i wanna say the exalted
because frailty + less dmg over time + more mana
both necks have less dmg over time
but it has more
one of the points of the orion neck is that it removes your need to have any void resistance, freeing up strict requirements on other gear slots
in fact its the only reason I would accept a downgrade in stats like mana and less dmg taken over time, but thats why I am asking and torn about it.
go for it ... just make sure to adjust the rest of your gear around it
imagine you had gotten that with higher rolls tho owo
the story of that neck , and two chestpieces I also failed at rolling, are kinda insane.
I got that orions eye for 40 million as an LP0 and gambled it in the nemesis machine to arrive at an LP2 worth an estimated 1.5 billion
Same story with two extremely good unstable cores that I bought for 2 million and 5 million gold each ... which each then gambled in the nemesis machine up to 1LP and then failed on a t6 Mana slam (t7 doesnt even exist on bazaar lol)
lol
When I say extremely good unstable cores and for extremely cheap, check out the stat % rolls on these.
lol
op
my failed slam graveyard is a depressing reminder of 400 million I used to have, ofc I did succeed with some items while spending all that lol
ye
Rough, but makes sense
yeah its the name of the game and its alright. it turns out if you blast high corruption and take high risk high reward decisions you can farm up multiple things worth 100m - 1 billion per day
Hopefully their next cycle comes without gold dupes and stuff so they can see what the economy looks like without all the issues.
yeah unfortunately this game has never had a cycle where it was free from duping.
and since that has happened, the economy for this cycle is ruined. the cap gold you can carry is 2.1 billion something. cap value you can list something for in bazaar is 1.5 billion. items that are not even that good are "worth" a billion
I did cof first cycle and mg this cycle
cof rules. MG for lozers
i'm 95 with 950 mana.. maybe its my crit that is the issue then. says i onlyu have 72% spell crit, how can i boost that more
yea idk where. more int i guess? from the passive
my spell sheet only says 71% spell crit but someone explained it to me as that being capped after all the calculations
I was very recently at your mana levels and only got as high as I am now at 1400 mana with some lucky god roll stuff
so stat sheet lying?
no more like the game is unclear AF about how it actually works and you will have to forgive me because my math comprehension is bad at this
playing meteor at 1.2k rn
2 people tried to quote equations at me and one said I was almost cap and one said I was overcap, and that was with less crit%% stuff than I have now (like a better roll on my hat)
i think in regards to glacier its because theres a node that specifically adds crit to glacier so maybe that isnt included in the stat sheet
but ya its annoying
I can say that 950 mana feels completely different than 1200 or 1400 mana, and the build only really comes online for soloing bosses and relying on the 1% mana return when you have 1300ish mana
youll proibably only take the minimum 2 points in that node tho cuz you lose crit multi
to be fair you had to hit the 1000 breakpoint for assured 20% refund
thats not nearly as important as how much mana those 1% crits are returning
i mean glacier is like what 60 mana? 20% of that means your now only spending 48
it does help and lowers the threshold for hitting mana neutrality while spamming glacier like a madman
nah mine costs 46
idk what happened because earlier today mine cost 49 mana and I am unclear what changed besides perhaps losing some int
hit the skill again sometimes it desyncs
wait i think thats just cooldowns that do that kek
yeah idk but I just fought a monolith boss + harbinger on 482 corruption and nuked them all down in <1 minute lol
gg
can i ascend wands to get wrongwarp?
yes and your chances are 1 in 29.
not very high
i love how every time im looking for something i end up getting it in a nemesis encounter while im actively farming for it in its location kek
uh compared to some of our other items yes that is quite high chance
red rings are 1 in 733 runes of ascendance
orions eye is 1 in 386 runes of ascendance
wish i had 386 runes
if only i could get an LP 1 orian's eye, may try hitting t7 mana
I got wrongwarp on my second try, only to find I am too low level to use it LMAO
wrong warp has slightly less chance to drop compared to marina, i think like 2 marina for 1 wrong warp
my luck continues, I found a 1lp good mana roll orions for 10 mil and I'm gonna try to slam it now
bricked again :<
Dunno which is worse.... Come on face dopamine or mg slam dopamine
What's the rate for ascending dagaroth
I only know the ascension chances on items in the glacier sorc build and thats because its shown when you mouseover the items on maxrolls website
so if you want to know the rate for another uniques chances of ascension you need to check a build on maxroll that includes the unique I guess
or look for another place that has exact droprates but I found other places expressed it as a percentage like 0.000034% as opposed to "1 in 700" which I found easier to understand
any pricecheck help for that? =/
garbage not worth more than 30k gold sorry
the best idols for mage are the ones with Flat Mana & Mana %+ Armor
Any idol with those 2 stats is minimum 200 million
Since that is too expensive the next best thing is just get a max or high roll of the Mana %and Armor roll
And for that purpose, the idol you have is bad because its 4 wide and 1 tall instead of being a 3 x 1
the 3 x 1 ones you can fit more of them into your build and they cap at 8% mana, whereas the 4 x 1 ones cap at 12% mana.
a perfectly rolled 8% mana on a 3 x 1 sized one is worth 2 million gold
a perfectly rolled 12% mana on a 4 x 1 sized one is still worthless
hope this helps lol
What base is the one that drops on? I want to prohpecy it.
mage grand idol as far as I recall.
The 4x1 yea?
no , 3x1 is grand .
1x4 or 2x2?
which is what you want per maxrolls suggestions so you can fit two 2x2 ones in there.
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/glacier-sorcerer-guide look at the ones used here, notice it is grand and not ornate.
can anyone confirm if Brightfrost from Frost Claw tree cleanses when FC is triggered by an attack? It doesn't say 'directly cast' like other manual-only nodes but that's not always a consistent rule, otherwise I'll find some poison dudes and test it
what are some other mana stack sorc build than glacier and static orb meteor that good stuff?
sorc would be frost claw, static orb, nova, lb, tele
both nova and lb are mana free i guess
but you get no mana sustain ala sp mana strike
Cool. thanks.
To play the coc meteor version of glacier, should I target farm the belt? I do not have any other uniques at the moemnt
Hi im playing the glacier build but how do i prevent cold overload?
is the frost claw nova chain with dagaroth still good?
Nova?
I'm using dragaroth claw. No nova. FC arcane current sparl charge and LB for blind + extra charge.
You can fit 4 3x1 or 2 3x1 + 2 4x1 in your slots, this doesn't matter that much
Hey!
I have 11% crit chance (5 base, 6 catalyst) and 500% increase spell crit chance. That should set me at 55% yes?
If I also have 200% lightning crit chance, does that mean I have 75% or 110% with light spells?
anyone got any advice on improvements for my build? it's focused on ignite dots and hydra casts. pretty set on the uniques, especially the weapon and relic. but the blank bases are just placeholders

Ok is there any trick to T4 julra? Except for nuking her in seconds I mean. I never had to learn her mechanics until now, I insta-die from stuff I don’t clearly see
Switching timeline when she does her big white nuke is ok, then being in the middle of her rotating void lasers, avoiding void pools, avoiding her ice cone nuke (with 0.5 sec of windup)
Idk how to get rid of the turrets, maybe they’re the ones that get me
how about the purple ponds, make sure u spawn them on the edge of arena after the D swap
so u can avoid them during dmg bursts
Oh you can affect their placement?
Yeah just now the two ponds were in the middle, hard to avoid
the coc meteor is relevant for mapping but people dont put in any points into meteor - how is it good?
yeah thats it, just run on edge after swap
Oooh ok, I’ll try that thanks!
how do i get super high Intelligence for my Mage? All i can muster so far is 100 from my items
T6-7 slams on uniques + like 40 or 50 from passives (assuming you are 80+ lvl)
ok thx!!
Also having catalyst with implicit int helps
i have been spam farming stole lance rewards, prophecies, and rune of ascendance, and i have yet to hit a single fragment of the enigma at level 86 :')
or a ladle, but i guess that is more reasonable
Ladle just get lucky
Is 609 ward retention for a rune master too much?
No such thing as too much ward retention
anyonehave a good cocmeteor build i can follow
Swap timeline at the last second before big explosion then swap back, and pray you can handle the turrets damage
anyone help me figure out bases and points for my build? i have one on le planner and pretty set about the uniques but could use some advice

Hmm why teleport when you can use flame rush
Probably a dumb question, but is the stability that you gain per echo affected by corruption?
how do the extra cast nodes on frost claw work with volley of glass
Yes
thanks!
can someone explain me why in this video, with this build, they play with the confluence of fate in the amulet ? i can't understand why ? it's a lightning build and the amulet give fire, necrotic and void no lightning damage : https://youtu.be/SLFBbVdeIp0
he plays wrongwarp and stack int which will scale all damage type
also you don't need the damage type to match in this game, you can add void flat damage to a lightning spell, just that that portion will scale with increased void not increased lightning
u lost me
More damage good, more flat damage very good
there's no line on the wrongwarp that specify something like that
Ooga go booga mob die you loot
wrongwarp scales spell damage with movement speed which gives a lot
yea i did understand this part, but the amulet don't give move speed, and the damage are void, fire and necrotic !
so how can the amulet work with the wrongwarp i'm lost
That damage gets added to all spells regardless of base damage type
my dream
well that turns out better than I expect
And if your damage scaling is genetic you don't care about type mismatch
hmmm ok ok i think i might understood a bit, so what you're telling me is that the AMulet, ADD something like +13 FLAT damage AS void, necrotic & fire ? to all spells ?
like your lightning spell will do doing like 20 lightning 20 void 20 fire 20 necrotic and all these get scaled by the increased spell damage from wrongwarp
wtf why it's so complicated, they should make think more clear
it is slightly more advanced minmaxing
there's no game where if you have +13 FIRE spell damage, that mean it add 13 fire damage to , but should be +13 to YOUR fire spell damage x)
Dude wrong warp scales all damage off of movement speed. The more movement speed you have. The more GENERAL spell damage you get…
i think it can be confusing for newbies when something like Glacier still can scale with +necro spell damage and then further through %spell damage
usually for other games it rarely ever works that way / no smart adaptive damage system
yes it's very confusing
basically it's something like this
say a skill does 100 lightning spell damage, you have +20 necrotic spell damage, it still takes it and become 120 damage. Now
+100% lightning damage would make it become 220
+100% necrotic damage would make it become 140
and +100% spell damage would make it become 240 as it applies to both portions
wait do the projectiles from frost claw actually do damage?
i wish the frost claw projectiles didnt curve out as much
so much clearer, i really think they should clarify their text for new incomer in the game
i'm following a maxroll leveling guid and it's saying specific side quests to take for idol slots and skill points, is there any way to know what side quests in-game i should grab before grabbing them? it bothers me to see the uncompleted quests on the left of my map lol
press M check on rewards on the left side, do not bother there are more quests than you need to fully upgrade idol slots and passives
that's after you've accepted the quest tho, i was just wondering if prior to that there's an easy way to know what quest some npc will give me if i accept
I was skipping campaing and got all passives and Idols on act 9
is there a resource labeling quests with like an image of the location of the npc who offers it?
just pick whatever you can in act 9, you can allway go back no worries
that is if you can log in, I cant since 2 days now xD

- press import on the left side.
- enter your account name and char name.
- you will see quests panel under your toon.
- press it. and you will see rewards and your completed bonuses.
yes it is
thanks
the critical strike multiplier could have been better but that mana roll is nice
its not better on amulet
i meant i would have preferred a dif affix to roll entirely
