Not the increased melee dmg. The damage reduction applies because staves are considered a 2h melee wep
It could also be they were an easy 4 LP to get and have fire pen on them. Gloves cant get fire pen
4lp with fire pen and attune not really too bad
it is probably that since they have high fire pen with fireball and meteor as well
armor resistance and attunement are also good i guess lol
am i the only one that think gacial stream feels off ? i mean i had idea trying it as a shotgun support / ice damage proc on frost claw and even as a main spell but both the cost and the debuff feels bad to use (haven't tryed it with 500+ mana). And so trying diverent build as a mage made me think having buff while having 500+ max mana in the sorcerer specific passive tree.
I mean there are no real good gloves for fireball so
It makes sense
Liaths 🙃
Is bad if you do not build into that build
Since it converts half the dmg to Lightning
From my last weeks of testing skills, all the basic mage skills seems to scale pretty well with both runemaster and sorcerer. The big class defining skills seems to be pretty weak. Have more of a utility function like cfc and meteor.
I wish it was the other way around, basic skills for support and the big skills as the main thing.
Half the spells are completely useless, the mastery specific spells are very underwhelming as well, i chose runemaster in the beginning because i fell in love with all the different invocation only to find out they are useless lol
I gave up on mage atm i dont feel like playing a Runemaster and Meteor is underwhelming, and making it a lightning spell makes it more fun to use but the mana upkeep is crazy stupid
maybe ill try it again but I honestly can't be bothered to even login to LE
would a T7 flame ward, int, or crit multi be better on a relic for this build?

hi all i new in here request for help is anyone can help me boost up some lv from 0
New player here. This guide https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/frostbite-frost-claw-runemaster-guide says that Frostclaw somehow procs Elemental Nova. But how does it works? I can't find which passive provides such effect.
celestial conflux
top middle right
its the build i use
actually, its directly top middle
btw , strands of souls is not needed as an item for the build,i got up to over 3k corruption without having that belt
Thanks
I am working on a melee spark charge runemaster, and I keep seeing people's builds stacking items that increase chance to apply spark charge on melee hit, often times exceeding 100% chance. Can someone please explain this? Im using mana strike, which has 100% chance.
you apply multiple spark charges at once
Mad Lade or Wrongwarp for Elemental Nova build?
hey guys, is there a build for the mage that is a "palpatine" build? Id much prefer to follow a guide than try to do it myself, just wondering if such a build exists
i just want to blow up the whole screen with lightning
cheers
lightning claw spark charge is probably the closest thing to it
you could also use various runic combinations for lightning but eh, they cant compare with the dmg output of frostclaw spam
Ok thank you, ill look into it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zLmN1DjaZo
5.1k corruption w/ wrongwarp teleport Fire FC Nova
actually nuts.
sick
I use wrongwarp for bosses and mad ladle for clearning monos. Hard to say whats best yet. Still at low corruption on this runemaster
wtf it’s dead in here
Seems like a fun alternative to play with when u wana change things up!
dead gaem what u expect
constant bugs, bad stability on release, terrible optimisation does that to a person
game was just not ready to be launched
Cmon now laplus enjoyer, be abit more optimistic
you know, i was, until from patch 0.5 onwards its so bad my PC overheats in an instant
It’s okay. d4 S4 soon. We game there instead
That really sounds like a you problem
nah, its the crap optimisation of this game, never happens to me with any other game
70c at best stable even on high requirements,
but Last Epoch?
nah
instant 100+ on boot alone
what a joke
and from other people have said, im not the only one with this issue
You're not the only one, but here I am running it on a 5 year old laptop without issue
the game is "dead" because this is just how cycle-based games work
honestly brother, sounds like a you problem. Yes performance is poodoo. but i dont have temp issues and i play at 4k.
With a 3090
😂
save ur super chats for a PC upgrade man
Frostclaw is the problem, i can play other classess at max graphics but frostclaw i have to put everything on low and it still lags
It’s getting pretty annoying
The problem is not even the spell by itself, it’s the amount of loot and rerolls the game does plus frostclaw
I play frostclaw on max settings and never has any issues or frame drops
I typically play with a fireball spam mage friend and a minion focus Necro and still with all that not even a noticeable drop 🤔
fps are fine, it's the game performing poorly for me and many other people have this same issue, it could also be servers stability since euw servers are bad, for example after every patch i can't play till the day after xD
turning off enemy flash when hit and damage numbers will improve performance
when i run arena, i do that & set everything to super low 😄
dmg numbers are off, enemy flash i will try, thanks
“I haven’t had this problem, so it’s not a big deal!” All up in this thread
lmao yall gotta be joking
if I get + ignite chance for fire skills from the passive tree, does that add ignite chance to skills that normally have none?
does + spell damage increase dot damage?
as long as they have the <Fire> tag, it should, yes
not DoT damage in general. but what it will to is add additional damage to any of your spells, and if your spells happen to be DoT spells, it'll increase that damage. you should be able to check on the spell itself to see what it's added damage effectiveness is
So if I’m trying to get snowdrift to drop can it be from Normal enemies?
thank you
it can be, yes. drops anywhere that has a chance to drop uniques
does + damage for flame rush also applies to the rune embers it creates?
no, Rune Embers is a separate thing and won't benefit from anything that is specifically to Flame rush
however, if you have the equipment line +Levels to Flame Rush, that comes with Spell Damage, the Spell Damage on that equip is just generic Spell Damage and applies to everything, not just flame rush
thanks
would the basic "ignite" count as dot spell in that sense or would spell damage not increase ignites damage?
ignite is an Ailment that applies damage over time and is not a spell
so ignite on its own does not benefit from spell damage
can ailment damage be increased somehow?
there are many ways to increase ailment damage depending on the ailment in question
for ignite, you could scale the damage type of ignite directly via %increased fire damage or %fire penetration. you could also get %increased damage over time
there are also specific skill effects that say "ignite applied by this skill does %x more damage"
Duration and cast speed
If a node says "XXX skill deals More Dmg", that also affects ignite applied by said skill
Hey guys! Anyone playing the Maxroll's Frost Claw Runemaster build ?
Which one lol, there is like 4 of em
Almost all of them use frostclaw as the base skill
Ah from BinaQc
I use his other build
The freeze rate one
Personally I think that one is much better
Even tho I modified it a bit
His builds are generally good, he knows what he's doing
Yeah, good builds and guide, I'm just stuck at one point and cannot understand something 😅
Ask, I am sure someone will be able to answer
Ok...so...
I'm playing the Frost Claw Runemaster - https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/frost-claw-runemaster-guide#gear--header
The guide states - "Look for a Crystal Wand and combine it with an Arcane Visage and Arcane Regalia that have Increased Spell Crit (Doubled If You Have Over 300 Max Mana). These three combined will put you over 300 Mana and double the output from this affix as well...". Ok, but when I check the planner I see that the mana is 192. I have the mentioned pieces of gear (wand, helm, chest), I'm level 85 and have put points in passives wherever possible to get to 300+ mana which prevents me from leveling the passives in the guide somehow. How do you get 300 mana by only using those 3 pieces of gear with those minor nodes from the passive tree in the planner ?
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/planner/
Curious if anyone knows of a decent to good lightning build for Sorcerer.
The wand has 60 mana
Ending The Storm monolith has a blessing after killing the boss on lvl 100 and up a few times that gives 60-90 mana but u will lose increased cold damage blessing
I see. But he is still using the 100% increased cold dmg in the guide
Yeah
I believe he didn't calculate properly
Not possible to reach 300 mana apparently with that gear
He has no mana idols as well
😫 guess I'll need to improvise
Yeah
If u need a blessing from any boss let me know i can carry u if u need
I'm in EU West server
I believe that he has wrong idols in the guide
The 3s stun immunity for the build is quite irrelevant until super high corruption
You can get some grand idols with %mana on them, and small idols with flat mana
That will easily put you over 300
Thank you both! I'll try if I can fix this with idols for now
You're welcome
Good luck
sorry ive been taking a glance at the build again, and its not from BinaQc, sorry my mistake
dunno why it show Bina on phone view on top,
from what i can see tho , you dont need a bleeding heart necklace, its quite literally useless
you can in that case easily get Strong Mind , easy to get on 3LP , even 4LP is not that rare
it gives some light res, but it gives 30-60flat mana and free stun avoidance
thats a good fix as well for your issue
the spell leech from the blessing is already more than enough to keep you full health for twisted heart HP cost
I do have Strong Mind...i will give it a try since i still dont have the heart (wasted ~10 runes in hopes of geting it) and still on my way to twisted heart
For sorcerer if I want to do black hole meteor, but i’m wanting the pull in would it be best to go for elemental damage or just ignore black hole damage and stack fire instead
Hello! Took a break from LE and back. Looking for a frost claw build guide. Any suggestions for it please?

Sweet. I will give this a try. Looks fascinating 🙂
Thank you!!
For a spellblade, is better a shatter strike or a flame reave build? Actually I'm trying a shattered strike build, liking so far but find a little bit annoying the small AoE, so I'm curious If it's worth Respec to flame (I have the ring for the spell change)
how does a runemaster gain armor shred? there are multiple skills that refer to becoming better with armor shred on the enemy
Same as everyone else for the most part
Weapon suffix, amulet suffix
glove suffix too
Elemental Nova tree
200% plus what is on the Ladle gives a few hundred stacks so you dont need the slams on any items.
2LP Twisted hearts must have taken the month off. Just hit 1600 cor and 1,000 echos completed in RoD. Only seen 2 and bricked them both 😦
Sounds about on par, they are rare
At least u guys got LP I'm stuck with my normal one lol
heard that Father. And def not complaining about the RNG in this game, I just want the 2LP. I like their system a lot vs other ARPGs Ive played. My plan is just to use the RoD timeline as my push for higher cor. It will fall again eventually. I got a 2LP Confluence of Fate so anything's possible
Nice! Good luck, maybe a 3LP will be next 😄
my 97 warlock died so time to live in this chat instead
pondering if there's a way to do something with the Transciber's Graver weapon.
Which, just wanna make sure - the 'volcanic orb modifiers to speed/range apply to flame rush' thing is a unique mod, and doesn't stack when dual wielding I assume. Anyone know for sure?
I sec the warlock 😂
It's out aside for now lol
I so want to try volcanic orb I'm not sure how to build it tho
Yeah I'm gonna just be whipping something together that'll probably suck once I get to empowered monos
XD 🤣 it happens to alot of theroy crafting
i'd say 200 corruption is ok with off meta builds at least in sc
volcanic orb seems painful but do let me know the build once you try xD
I'm trying to figure something out involving transciber's graver. Which might make it more flame rush than volcanic orb build, damage wise. But we'll see.
mh flame rush for damage sounds painful
orb is actually only useful to speed so i guess you just need to spec that for mobility and go full damage for flame rush and you can pump those with fire aura in glyph
sounds awful but very fun lol
Yeah that's why I'm thinking even 100corruption empowered monos will be a struggle by the time I get there.
maybe disintegrate could be useful as well with that build, but you also need flame ward or reowyn
Why with my frostclaw build is my elemental nova ice but when I watched the video his is different
honestly if you just wanna use the Graver and aren't picky about how you use it, you could just say screw it to the volcanic orb and just use it for the 24% elemental penetration
the alternative would be to pair a Transcriber's Graver with the Eye of Orexia relic and do a full volcanic orb build
could throw in Dark Shroud of Cinders for some cast speed and a bit more fire aura synergy
and since this build now has both void and fire spell damage, maybe add The Confluence of Fate while you're at it
and since you'll probably want glyph of dominion to be active on you at all times for the graver's effects, you could add Apex of Thought for ward
Best mage untwinked SSF / HC / CoF?
Yeah not sure if I'd keep the graver going and make it more flame dash, or ditch the graver and try volcanic.
Testing if normal freeze chance has any value on shade, and tried to estimate his HP. At 950% inc health it seems be around 19-20M. So the base HP without modifiers could be 2M? In any case, with 3400% freeze modfier and 600% frostbite increase, the chance is less than 0,5% with frost claw.
I have been playing the nova frost claw build that Allie posted about a month ago. Her video has ward getting to 20k and up very very quickly after starting an encounter and I am having ward issues, hovering at 2-3k. Only thing missing is I have +4 frost claw on a weaver will relic, not the twisted heart. Is there something under my nose I'm missing or is the twisted heart the main thing that can skyrocket ward that fast?
Twisted is not the major source of ward. Do you Celestial Doom and a source of brand? Also some other passives that give ward.
Yes I have celestial doom
I think my main issue is I'm not consistent with "applying my brand"
Her build does not have ward exp affix on gloves but I do, since I figured I need to make up a word source for not having twisted heart.
Maybe I'm over complicating things then. I have the RM passive where simply hitting an enemy with frost claw should apply my brand, and then hitting that enemy should grant me a ton of ward.
Only works on rares and bosses.
Sounds like your passives are wrong
My passive match Allie's 100%
Can you link the build setup?

That should work, but ward gen on normal monsters is not great without twisted
Add in Edict of Scien passive
And it should be a bit better
Ok thank you for looking. I may swap out my exalted rings to 2x Julra stardials, as I'm mana starved on boss encounters too.
Edict generates about the same ward as twisted
Order Imposition, don't think this does much for you
So you could use those points for Edict
Thank you!
If you reduce cost of elemental nova to 0 it should help a bit on the mana issue
Frost claw with a wand should have no mana issues 🙂
I removed the node on the far left that increased damage to CCd enemies and put them in the mana cost node to the right of it, in elemental nova, which reduced cost to 0. Immediate mana improvement in sustained encounters.
This feels frankenstein-like. But I'mma try it anyway:
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/Qe7E8n5o
Essentially. Mana strike for flame aura stacks and capping mana -> cast a fireball -> Flame rush. Had to make fireball channeled to be able to get the never late bonus, and still actually have a decent multiplier to flame rush's damage. And maybe ingnite might get me some survivability on it too?
... I just wanted to figure out a way to use Transcriber's Graver.

Yeah. Not sure. The on hit ward from rune master and spell blade. Maybe low life stuff if necessary. Ignite stacks and flame rush ignite to ward thing might be alright too
Have you considered going disintegrate? It’s a channeled ability and there is a node that makes you rec mana with it instead of consuming it
It basically does what fireball and mana strike would do together but you would have to spec it lightning
You lose the defence of flame rush but you can spec flame ward wich is definitely better
Also glyph has a node that gives ward while standing in it

• Teleport (20)

• Flame Ward (22)
this is poodoo
Disintegrate is best as RM
And setup as full damage
Not really, it would be used as utility not damage, they want to use flame rush for damage
They need a channeled ability and to rec mana and since glyph is already there disintegrate would work great
And i am sitting here telling you that build is poodoo.
Ive tried it already.
Its sad.
Disintegrate is quite sh1t when not being used for damage
even tried a disintegrate based lb build, that was sh1t too
I need to lvl another rm and try funny builds
Yeah but fireball is the only way to get an actual good damage multiplier on flame rush. 75% more damage.
There's only two damage multipliers at all on flame rush's tree, sadly.
For meteor mage. I found a 3LP Harbinger of star (belt) &wondering if it’s more important to slam on a t6-7 mana reg. or cool down?
sadly there isn't a way to make that belt work as of right now, the mana cost of meteor is too high
oh true, well try it out and let me know if it works out xD
Trying spellblade again, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_Z-Tjz8jLE, so slow and squishy most of the time
Does anyone have a good loot filter for frostbite frost claw rm?
what?
Yes there is
people have made harbinger work
its issue isnt really the mana cost
its the proc rate
What really?
it does work but once you have no mana to cast flame ward or teleport then you realize it doesnt lol
you go to negative mana in an instant that's the issue and as soon as you have 1 mana you cast meteor and you are back to square one
you can try and make it work, id say stack mana and mana regen as much as possible
mana regen is a terrible stat rec
stack mana outright
we cant stack enough mana regen for it to actually make much of a difference
due to the low base regen
I've only ever made it work with mana strike. Nothing else gives enough mana.
And by work I mean... I feel like I'm on the brink of death every moment as soon as I get into empowered monos.
Ranged mana strike is more survivable. But I need more mana for it. So melee feels nicer. But also too squish to be melee-ing.
Even if you get it to work, the damage from meteor is not great
A lot of skills are like that, a lot of work for no reward 🙂
Noob traps as the devs call it
I mean meteor coc is fine as long as you use mana strike
the build was good last patch, and now it will be much better now that trade gear exists and is a thing
I couldn't get a good 1 stat harbringer to save my life, but on trade 2 LP ones are cheap af
I made the mistake of playing a torment warlock this season. The ease at which I can hit 7 digit DPS. Compared to struggling to get low six digits with many other builds. Painful.
thats just the devs overtuning the fun shiny stuff. Its just something I am used to at this point
Yeah I just hate it. I know most games in general do that with new classes.
as long as you keep your corruption numbers realistic most builds can do most content. Its just people are spoiled by bugs and overtuned skills and think the rest of the game is supposed to be like that, which the opposite is true
Yeah. Nah I feel you. I mean I've read before that they intended something like the balance being like, ~400 corruption for end game? Not thousands
I have found 700 to be a nice average of what builds that are normal usually stay around, as going further after that is just for numbers chasing and not for actual trade/favor effiecency. Eventually if your build becomes strong enough its better to invest into movement speed then it is to invest into stats, as eventually your just killing stuff on the way then running/teleporting inbewteen packs
I play hardcore. I've never felt safe at corruption that high
There does not seem to be any attempt of balance. Everything is just toys to play around with, that someone designed. Pieces you can put together. No bigger plan or balance behind it
over the past 4 years there has been, this is an anomaly for the most part. we were all surprised by the lack of balance this patch
I really hope they take the time to go over and adjust things that are on the lower end atleast. I don't mind over-tuned stuff. More the stuff that does nothing or limits a build or skill.
I would love for procced meteors to trigger lost knowledge
The current balance does not feel any different than it has for 4yrs tbh
There are just bigger outliers now but its always been bad
that is not true, before runemaster there were 1-2 builds at most that were significantly stronger than anything else each patch
now its like 10+(and not even builds but whole masteries)
and the gap is way way bigger compared to any of previous patches
Gap is definitely bigger for sure
I think the problem in my eyes is just the low end
Tons of builds have been bad for a long long time
I dont even care about the top end honestly
oh ye the floor was always very low that part is the same and if anything its even worse issue than top celling being boosted out of proportion
If bro wants to ride out jhelkors to 10k then more power to em
If sis is struggling at 300 then there's a problem
funny enough we have people struggling on 200 with wraithlord out of everything
Isn't that supposed to be really strong
but ye, they need to do both but fixing top builds is way less work than fixing bottom
yep its doing 10k cor
After playing flame wraiths i will never make another minion build again
Most boring gameplay of all time even if its cracked
I just wanna put spark charges on everything
is the mana back from frost claw only on direct cast?
the skill says "on cast" so it doesnt specify if it is only on direct cast or if it works with the melee attack cast
Shatter Strike Ice Spikes does not have a freeze rate?
Frost Claw was the last born skill, got it all. Trying to make spellblade with frostbite, can either use frost claw and win or try combine a lot of other stuff, and half-win 🙂
they should, i was freezing stuff with them, but im not using them anymore, the dmg increase is way nicer, the area is still good
I am trying to use them as a range skill, spam the screen, to get at ranged mobs. What did you get instead?
Think I see the problem, they just look good, does very little damage, even with frostbite
Does the damage from ice spike depend on range? Seems they work better as monsters get closer
I am running shackles, snowdrift and ocearon so maybe the frostbite comes from those on the spikes
Anyway they do no damage so pretty useless
Found the problem, was terrain, I was shooting above or in the ground at range. So fewer hits
Also they freeze distant enemies so you then have to move close to kill them lol
They look cool but not worth 4 points
Maybe an increase in area skill idol would be best but I struggle in the defence department without idols since i have ocearon instead of red rings
I usually give up on spellblade after a bit, since it is not what I enjoy with mage, melee, slow, low defense
but giving it a try again now
One group of archers and I am dead
I see it coming, but nothing I can do
I am pretty tanky and almost 10k ward but the damages are a little low, i also do not have decent gear since most things are 1 lp
I just gave up and didn’t even slam anything on snowdrift for now
No idea on what that is lol
My knowledge stops at catalysts for off hands
I have a 3lp vile that was already slammed so I just went with it, double sword felt awful
Hello guys, Fatah, I have the magician skill, but I don't know what to choose
Can someone help me decide which skill I should specialize in as the last one?
(currently trying to create build around Tri-Elemental Nova, and have Nova, Teleport, Flame Ward and Runic Invocation specialized and that 4 out of 5)
I've been thinking about Glyph of Dominion, but I'm not sure if it's really what I need.
Snap Freeze maybe
Teleport is mandatory to counter this type of stuff
but otherwise yea what you gonna do
I gave up on my frostbite spellblade when I noticed armor shred->frostbite is only for spells. Bit too many hurdles here 🙂
I dont even like forstbite for spellblade
lowlife shatterstrike build is way better
Why?
Makes boss fights a lot easier when you can freeze them almost all the time
hmm, oke, will try then.
You don’t like it because it’s bad or just preference?
preference i guess, but also frostbite shatterstrike wont be able to push to high corruption
too squishy
Oh ok so there is hope xD
Idm not pushing corruption, i do that on main and am not really a big fan anyway
I’d rather make funny builds and see if they work out
yeah, I mean in terms of dps frostbite shatterstrike can definitely do a lot
just very squishy
you'd get one shot by a lot
Yeah i had to switch to red rings for lagoon because he was oneshotting me
Besides that frost claw + shatter strike seems like a solid combo so far
I do have some mana issues sometimes if i am very unlucky
Yeah seems pretty popular among spellblades
personally dont use it though
I spec into teleport instead
It aint pretty, but you gotta do what you gotta do

was very important to me when I pushed arena
Yeah i can imagine that
The nodes are op
I just wish they made it an elemental spell
It could have been a lighting zap
Or a fire circle under your feet
Even a little blizzard storm
Instead of the usual ugly blink
i will say that surge looks very sick though
I think some builds even use it for dps iirc
It really does but the mana cost is a little high
Oh really? Ill check and see if i can find any
I had an idea with that sword that procs lightning blast
But I’ll try after shatter strike
ofc, shatterstrike on top after all 🔛 🔝
Does dodge have diminishing returns like armor and shred armor?
havent seen a chart on it
Yes, it has an upper limit not too unlike armor
Got my lightning FC to 2650 and trying to decide if I should try more or leave it there
How many chances to proc frostclaw does shatter strike have per swing?
I know it can proc up to six frostbite 'hits' per swing with echoes.
It’s not a node in shatter strike but in frost claw, it’s the last node on the bottom and it has 30% chance to proc on a melee attack
My idea was to use frostclaw to recover mana since the mana cost is 0 but i doubt that it works since i find myself out of mana sometimes
Yeah I meant, since shatter strike with echoes can 'hit' up to 6 times, I was hoping it'd count as six chances to proc. It does not. It's once per click.
Oh yeah it’s once every cast lol
Dmg and freeze rate is nice tho but i am considering ditching it
Since it’s not the insane damage that normal frostclaw has
But I really don’t wanna unse mana strike
Teleport, focus and mana strike are too ugly for my taste, i can barely stand arcane ascendence
Yeah frost claw is not enough to sustain shatter strike, even with shatter strike down to 10 mana, and also that chance to regain mana on hit on the spell blade tree
Though one or two mana strikes is enough to offset like 20 swings of shatter strike.
I have 10 mana cost for shatter strike and the chance ti regain mana and they do work as intended
But the frost claw mana back I’m not sure it works
It doesn’t specify if you need to directly cast it or not
It makes sense if it does work but it’s unreliable tho since it’s 30% chance to get the mana back but you only have 30% chance to cast frostclaw on melee attack
Frostclaw procs fairly often but I really have no idea if the mana back works or not, it could just be spellblade tree
Pretty sure frost claw mana back works on proc.
Was just playing around with it. I was getting chunks of mana back without points into the spell blade mana passive.
Just unlucky then
I’m dumb enough that i never thought of doing that kekw
But yeah it's a % of a % chance. Like, around 10% chance of 12 mana back per swing is it? Not exactly much.
9% + 30% from the passive so 40% to gain 10 mana back id say
Yeah the passive tree one is way more impactful
Shades are perma frozen most of the time so i use them as dummies and usually i can end up with low mana but not run out, finishing the fight with half mana or having to get mana back is rarer
Ideal would be mana strike since the passives and mana strike itself have great synergies together
But then again ugly 🤷
Different topic: is surge's discharge node bugged? It's supposed to cast static upon arrival. It used to before 1.0. looks like it doesn't now?
Recommendation for SSF HC Mage?
Do you have Static on your bar?
Yeah it's on the bar. 200 stacks of static. It doesn't take the mana, it doesn't expend the charges, and it doesn't do damage (aside from surge itself)
I give up on runemaster, frostclaw is the only good build
Really wish someone would actually balance this game, but to no surprise it’s very unbalanced like most games
Fun builds only work in campaign and that’s just boring
Plasma orb, hydrahedron, fireball, lightning blast, glacier all viable options
Unless you are comparing to nova claw specifically?
They are not viable as of right not past 500 corruption
If you play to optimize / maximise you character, there is not many options. Unless you add some extra limitations, like make the strongest XXX variant
It all leads down the frost claw path
but I guess it is the same in all games in the end, one build or variant or class stands out
That's the issue with an infinite scaling difficulty
Did you hear Mike describe how they added Frost Claw?
500c is already a very good build
you are insane lmao
you can go way higher than that
if corruption is all you care about Runemaster has some of the highest build diversity right now
Runemaster can perma stun shade, so a lot of builds work for pushing corruption, if you can manage mono clear
Spellblade has pretty much nothing
literally this patch
and thats a meme build
if you can't do better than a meme build than its a you problem, not a runemaster problem
What corruption was that? Because the issue is past the 500 mark
that actually insanse statement, we literally had guy posting 1500+ cor on a frigginn fireball lmfao and you saying all builds not viable past 500
and people doing 800+ on a forge guard
that was 680
you are literally the problem, not runemaster
everyone else is pushing just fine with runemaster 😄
and that build I posted was a meme build
not a real build
clueless person, idk what to even reply to him, FCRM is definetly the best build but there are tons of viable 1k+ builds
I am not sure if the remaining elitist 10 of us, should talk about viable and what can be done, we are not the majority I guess
I guess you guys really love to offend people rather then listening to what they are saying
Kekw
I mean we are calling you out for sucking at the game and then saying you know whats good and what is not
What can be done and what is fun to do, is not the same thing
this is a normal reaction to insanity
LMAO
I think he is saying this is not fun to play 🙂
Mama kudos for saying that, for spilling
Since you are such a pro please teach me
I really wanna hear a pro last epoch player ideas
Do you know how to make a build that uses invocations work?
Not just one, more of them
no, you came in posted absurd statement, then replied above to "Plasma orb, hydrahedron, fireball, lightning blast, glacier " that "They are not viable as of right not past 500 corruption" which is just wrong, and also u dont realize that rm is so strong now that you can push almost anything on it to 1k , its just a matter if you can get op gg gear
like what do u expect us to say when you just come in and say ridicolous things
You can say that you disagree and proceed to explain why
and on topic of runic invocations we had a guy literally testing almost all of them past 1k cor in this channel, and he found at least 4-5 iirc that are viable
That’s not the correct way to approach someone
I've dealt with enough annoying people to just not care anymore.
No one was dealing with anything anoying here, just having a chat about runemaster and options before you guys come in and start this
I know you deal with yourself daily unfortunately, still waiting on you to tell me if you know a build with invocation since ur a pro
its impossible to reply and explain to such broad statement as "all builds besides FC are bad and not cor 500+ viable" we provided u at least 5 builds that are 1k viable and you disagreed with that for some reason
Thanks ill see if i can find them
Hopefully there is something fun in there
Directly casting elemental nova is the most fun runemaster gameplay wise I have tried
Elemental nova is less screen clutter and headaches when cast directly
For sure that was an exaggeration on my part, what i should have said is that they feel bad since I’m used to fc
I don’t want something as broken as fc but also not something that feels bad
There was a dude that tried to make a build that uses flame rush as main dps, you can mess around with things like that i suppose
naa that one is doomed
yea, can only have one it seems
when I cast a new one, the old ones goes poof
and something odd about runebolt runes when I cast it too fast, messes up order
Looking for a 3 diff runes combo that could work, casting that also gives ward
dont bother w rune bolt
if u want an invocation build just run claw without the mana increase skills and still go nova+ spark and manually cast whatever invocation u want w that
also have they released any new patches recently or is the game still completely the same
still the same, we just messing around with alternatives to frost claw
i can give u something busted

prob best frost claw build
dont think ppl found it out yet
LOL
its w manual invocation doe
play with mirror bolt+ cold frost claw
no build is anywhere near this 1 for runemaster
u can drop volley of glass if ur not using mana reduction boots and play around w the mana costs+ run frost wall/flame rush for marks/to get the fire invocation
u can even run this with wrap instead of ladle and teleport and get insane ward+ immunity
I struggle a bit with manual cast invocations, get out of order and have stop to correct it
if I cast to fast sometimes the runes gets the wrong type
na its not so bad
really easy tbh
u can overcast
basically the way u play it is
spam claw and cast 1 skill>invocation when u wana invoke
nothing to think about other than ur speed of casting the 2 skills after claw
rest is just manually doing cfc
which u can do in downtime etc
mirrior bolt has insane scaling with int that ppl havnt figured out yet
the dmg is nonfactor but the ward is nuts
also u can probably play around w what skills u wana run tbh in there
like i run enigma w this build when i was playing
for teleport
u can take normal tele and no cd invocation
or sub 2 sec cd invocation
Frostbite my beloved
even frostbite builds
mite be able to run it
idk since ur int is low
LOL
but its prob doable
Nawh, we don't stack int
If I drop my exalt helmet for a BiS in slot my int will be like 44
esp if spark ever get gutted
Kek
So we have something to use next cycle
Did a really quick test of invocation spam for damage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4j3HBRElHA
Sorry for sucky playing 😛
Don't think it will scale super high, but should fine up to 1k
I thought the idol for locking in 3 runes could have a use for locking in runes from holding runebolt down, but the runes suddenly change if it is casting too fast
thats quite a statement bro,
Antipode could be OK if it didn't take so long to arm
Not really the case, just happens when you spend them with an invoke
It was me casting an extra rune bolt doing it, just going so fast I didn't see it
450% chance for 33% increased damage, how much is that?
33%
Ward from Cosmic Mind is pretty good
That would be 132% Increase with a 50% of a 165% increase if it works the way other things do
Managing rune generation manually works after a bit, once I got used to the cast speed and timing
Does "Event: Deaths of Void Horror" bugged or something?
It says to kill 6 of them. However, I killed around 10 and didn't get a reward from that prophecy.
Doesn't count the ones spawned by a Beacon
The first quest on the last monolith has 2 that count. Kill both and portal out x3
Interesting
Is it
Yup, I "struggle" with thoses prophecies
Ah, weird but oke, thx.
I started runemaster recently. Found frost claw build guide, but it is 1 month old. Was there anything changed what can make build outdated and not viable for today?

1K Corruption Zero Legendary Frost Claw - Best Budget Build! | LE 1.0 by FrozenSentinel
@proven haven might be able to help you, since it seems to be their guide / build
^
Author of build is active here? Gr8!!
No, build is still fine. That's the budget version though fyi
They’re a YouTuber
I haven’t seen any of their videos but they have good stuff from what I hear
Some more alternatives is the isadoras belt, or vilatrias helm for +1 once Nova FC is lightning
Also suggest watching my video on the build where I explain mana cost management as most folks struggle with that getting started.
And here is my cheatsheet for the build with resources included;
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DLiKBOApPtBBm5prr185HU-iYM9k28ENFgz-voXpB-4/edit?usp=drivesdk
Hope that helps
@barren pawn
Boutta make a character, and Disintegrate (Fire) is the only real damage spell I’ll have besides Runic Invocation
any tips?
If it helps, this will be my skill list
Snap Freeze
Flame Ward (Lightning)
Disintegrate (Fire)
Teleport
Runic Invocation
In that order
get ignivar's head probably
What dat
immediately go shock
immediately change dis over to lightning
unique catalyst that juices disintegrate's damage

damn, I cannot do that 😦
The sake of the theme demands fire 😭
respecs are basically free
I mean you can run flame dis
I haven’t specced into it yet
but it objectively worse than lightning dis
fire is better than lightning anyway. not in terms of anything in-game, but in terms of personal aesthetic preference >:3
Just... no
Lightning dis is literally unlimited power
@proven haven I know it is budget version, I will farm and slam needed items, if I will like build. Thank you for info and wish you all best.
you're not about to convince a pyromaniac to do a non-fire version of a build when a fire version exists
I feel like channeled lightning blast is closer though
channel lb is ass.
been there, done that
But it looks more like it
Any tips for fire disintegrate if I do go through with it?
I saw your username and figured I’d reach out since
find ignivar and cut their head off and hold it in your left hand
copy my build but go with flame pen instead of lightnin pen
I HAD a flame version once upon a time
I’ve always skipped it
Is it really a cult?
It is my cult.
Very few even consider it viable
even though it can crush through 800
I'm assuming the spell to melee damage conversion on Flame Reaves "Arcane Severance" node doesn't benefit from any form of % spell damage scaling?
No it's just a "Added Dmg" conversion. If you were welding a Sceptre for exemple the + X Spell Dmg implicit would be converted (at a 1:1 rate with 4 pts)
Anyone know if 2/3 charge flame ward has different cooldown timer per charge? Or if the cd starts when each is procced
they recharge one at a time, not independently
you can craft +1 flame ward charge on a chest and take the passive to test
Oh... We are getting a dodge mechanic in 1.1 cycle
GG
We are playing dark souls now
And 1.4 cycle transmog + dye system

I want to try Frost Claw(Fire) + Fire Nova + Meteor CoC from unique , is there a work around to recover mana more than just using Focus or reduce mana usage from Meteor?
Sounds very mana intensive.
There are a few tricks available.
You could use Teleport free cast + Meteor Refund to get a bunch of mana. Invest into Mana regen with Urzil Pride (by stacking Lightning Res)
Yeah I'm aware, I'm just wondering if there are any modifiers/mechanics that would buff the spell damage before it's converted, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can't tell if I'm cookin' or cooked...
I think that going RM is probably better since playing around Fire Aura seems to not make sense in terms of point/stat spread over focusing on pure crit
Super super rough draft
is there a way to consume runes as RM while spamming Flame Reave w/o manually casting Invocation?
Prob dropping Flame Ward altogether due to poor uptime, not sure what to replace it with and I'm assuming the play is just to go RM and replace with Invocation or Glyph maybe
Pretty sure armor is actually 7-10k+ with Throne of Ambition stacked (forgot to save it)
May also need T7 exp mana on belt and some other stuff to fully solve mana, still need to test
Going RM is def not the play... I just wish Flame Ward wasn't so trash, iirc it was possible to get 100% uptime back in the day... Functionality of the skill is in the gutter due to uptime and the amount u need to invest to hit even 60%.
I wish there was an offline 'sandbox' where we could try builds with maxed items stat etc and see how they play
Not sure if sarcasm or not, but save editing is actually a thing
You can do that
I'm just too lazy and spitballing a rough draft of my 2nd/3rd build
100% flame ward was through the frost wall node and it was very broken so its good its fixed
Err this was like 2-3+ years ago, very early on, and didn't rely on frost wall
The issue is that the functionality of the skill is completely neutered imo
50-60% uptime on defensive stats is worthless
nerf stat budget and allow for 100% uptime
like holy
Yeah, but the actual functionality of a skill that provides such low uptime on highly valuable defensive bonuses is pretty bad
Skill needs to be entirely reworked or something idk
Idk I think its fine and it's up pretty often
The issue is that it won't be reliably and can't actually be played around
unless at least 70-80% uptime
that's just the reality lol... it's never going to be reliable or feel good otherwise at the high end of content
The issue in reality is just spellblade
Ehh, not true really
Primary issue seems to be getting stat efficient defense
otherwise it seems fine
99% sure damage/scaling and practicality in terms of a build like the one I just posted is fine and probably on the higher end if anything
but idk what to do about defense
Yea thats the problem
The dmg isn't high enough to sac defense like that
Esp playing melee
Pretty sure I could hit at least 1-2kc with Flame Reave
but my Warlock will prob push 7-10k... which is obviously way out of the norm... but...
Maybe Spellblade is actually just a balanced class xD
I still think Flame Ward in general is ??? and they should nerf stat budget + allow for higher uptime or the skill is just dedge
Lowkey I think melee as a whole needs to be looked at
This is the only arpg I dont melee 1 trick
Might also be that other things (certainly) need to be nerfed, probably some combination of the two
Throwing needs some love first lmao
tbh I think the DPS of Flame Reave + Fireball can prob get pretty nuts, depending on how many Oblation stacks I can maintain
but defense/EHP is the primary barrier for pushing, esp for melee/mid range builds
7-10k armor and block cap is decent, but not enough generic DR/avoidance I think
not for giga corruption/waves anyway
The big issues ime are initiating combat when you have little ward in a game where you are getting offscreened as you close in, and having less regen than ranged specs on half the bosses that jump out of melee range
Not an issue even for low static ward builds u just start slow until u have ur ward capped
Melees should legit have a target unlimited ranged gap closer
My Warlock basically functions this way
I start echoes at 4kc with 4-5k static ward, but I can build up to 15-20k+ pretty quickly and then it's smooth sailing
if I play well deaths are near 0, I'm just lazy and afk brain farming most of the time at this point cuz burnout and stuff
It just feels bad to play melee here idk
but yeah I need to see how it would feel w/ Flame Reave, I could see it feeling significantly worse
I've tried a bunch
yeah I'll prob save edit and test when I'm done with Warlock
I believe it
idk in my head I'm thinking it will feel good until at least 1-2k... pretty sure I can make Flame Reave work
Only one that felt good to me was bug back in .8(?) and even that was kinda just ok
but I need to test to see how it actually feels to paly, some things may be a bit impractical
Yea on paper its always ok
And then you have like no hp by the time you get to melee range
And its like welp
This typically isn't an issue if u can build fast and have high amounts of avoidance/DR
for example my Warlock has 1m EHP vs 1 shots at 20k ward
at 10k ward I would have 400-500k
due to huge DR and good armor
Your warlock can also build ward and do dmg while moving I assume as well
yeah that is the thing, but I typically just yolo into echoes at 3.9kc w/ 4k ward and very, very, very rarely get punished for it
but I'm also dodge capped with insane DR and 4-5k+ armor
When you're getting aoe spammed and ranged attacks are flying
I'll just test before committing... have most of the gear already
It feels so bad
I think it will only feel bad if u can't just zoom
like if u spam TP and speedclear it should be fine, would also be fine in arena for the most part if u dont afk AT ALL
but if it's a 2nd/3rd build, already capped out, don't care about loot or anything and can just GO with 0 downtime, the downside of not being able to generate ward on the move isn't as bad... I think
We'll see
I would agree there are definitely some huge downsides compared to generating ward via Ghostflame channeling
actually NEEDING to hit things to generate is a huge negative in a lot of scenarios
That and there is 0 upside to melee
I mean, being fun is an upside xD
Usually they'd at least do more dmg or something
Yea I'm all about fun first trust me
I play 0 meta
I also am not sure of how big Flame Reave radius can get w/ Sunwreath if u invest into AoE
half screen? full screen?
if u can push Flame Reave AoE to 50-75% of screen and have high mobility, might not feel that bad
also will be spamming Fireballs with 100% pierce
I know that nothing I do will come close to my Warlock, so I'm prob just gonna meme around with my next 2-3 builds anyway
Self made
oh 600-1k corruption
Yeah I will push 7kc+ with no bug abuse so xD
dev expectation vs. reality seems to still be a bit... ?
Just a bit ?
nah spellblade on top 🔛 🔝
Who is this impostor? I'm the original #1 Shatterstrike Spellblade, circa 2020 or something xD
and yeah that just isn't true xD
Thank you!
what do you mean? spellblade is so definitely meta right now, definitely not neglected subclass at all
laugh in Sentinel
i think you mean marksman-using-bow is the meta right now. definitely bows are the top tier meta rn
there are so many viable S-tier bows (and quivers) to choose from. such build diversity
I think you mean spellblade has build diversity? We have a total of 1 build capable of 1k+ corruption
wow a whole 1, that's so many
definitely does not need tweaking at all
have you seen how many bow builds are at 1k+ corruption though. truly mindblowing
Yeah the top spellblades on leaderboards right now definitely aren't mimics of frostclaw, definitely viable mastery
Doubt this is true
I will take Flame Reave to 1k+
unless ur tallking about Flame Reave
I also have pretty insane gear, but also CoF
disprove spellblade single build allegations
I need to test some stuff, might just be trolling
but in my head/on paper seems good, usually my intuitions are fairly accurate
could be wrong
Primary issue is that Flame Ward used to be good, seems way too gutted
Corruption pre-1.0 and post 1.0 is different though, if that was your experience
it's noticeably harder now to push corr
Need to nerf stat budget and allow for higher uptime or skill is dedge
im currently 3.9kc on Warlock
I will prob push 7-10k+
lol
SCSAF Cycle
CoF btw
i mean yeah, warlock will warlock
yeah but I have a fairly accurate understanding of what it takes
primary issue w/ Flame Reave will be inflating EHP thru things other than ward (getting DR/avoidance that matters)
and the practicality of NEEDING to hit stuff to generate ward
rather than being able to perma channel Ghostflame
but there's a big diff between 1-2kc and 7-10kc+
but yeah idk we'll see
flame reave to me seemed like it would suffer from dps issues
but if it's possible why not
did u run Oblation + Fireball with spell damage conversion
with maximum self ignite duration?
and crit?
that's my very rough idea, but still need to test some stuff
I built 100% crit with sunwreath early game, didn't particularly like it so I dropped it
think u can get 4-5s self ignite duration w/ enchant weapon + Oblation
forget the exact values
with enough attack speed can prob maintain 20-30+ stacks maybe
mana might be the primary issue
can convert spell damage > melee fire 1:1 on Flame Reave whilke also autobombing Fireballs and easily scale crit on both via skill tree nodes + Peak
there is exactly 1 flame reave spellblade on spellblade leaderboards right now
yeah I'm prob gonna save edit it when I'm done w/ Warlock before committing, so we'll see
but the play is certainly to play around Oblation/spell dmg
and crit
Its significantly easier to push now wdym
Huh, my experience was that 500-600 pre-1.0 was around 250 corr post 1.0
Its quite literally the opposite
Even hearing about 4 digit corruption was rare
It was done obv but it was way harder
well the enemy modifiers are quite literally more than pre-1.0 so idk what you want me to say
The modifiers are ...more?
yeah
Did you play pre 1.0
post 1.0 corruption affects enemy modifiers more
this was in their dev updates btw
i think u have troubles reading
new corruption does NOT affect monolith modifiers at all
welp I meant enemy health and dmg scaling by modifiers oops
i think new corruption is great but needs a lot of adjustment
i think you're great ❤️
Always felt that post1.0 corruption was harder than pre-1.0 from the doubling in enemy scaling
could be wrong i guess

You're the 1st person I've seen say this idk
I remember there was a big spellblade lifer in here around .8-9
Group assisted min max to go as far as possible
Went to like 500 or something
and you are the first to say this ab pre 1.0 that i've heard of as well haha
ah well
Honestly it's hard to compare anyway
Cause we didn't have trade or cof
My item count within a month was 10x better than like 1k hours pre 1.0
Spellbaddie💅 🔛🔝
Guys, i have 3lp enigma. I dont have clue wich 2 prefixes gonna be best there. I follow typical frostclaw build from YT, frozensentinel.
with my 2lp enigma and t7 spell crit chance i have atm: total 79% :
Frostclaw skill points 23, (where 1 point in reding cascade). Crit multi i have 358% , crit chance 79%(with t7 on 2lp enigma), cast speed 185%.
What mods i should roll on 3lp enigma? please advice wich and why, really appriciate.
I’ll be honest man it depends on how high COR you want to hit. At around 1500-2000 you’re going to need max roll int and cast speed everywhere you can get it. If it doesn’t work out that way (COF probs) then you may want something else because the wrong warp variation will take less damage.
I like T7 cast speed and dodge rating currently since I’m at 3k dodge.
But if you get something like T7 cast speed and spell crit it will make your spark charges higher than something like lightning damage w/ cast speed. I don’t know why but crit chance scales the spark charge dmg really well.
You want to have like 240 cast speed standing in town so it sounds like you’re missing a roll
Anyone had any luck with building disintegrate to be free or massively reduced cost, following the maxroll disintegrate runemaster build but finding I run out of mana on those single target hp sinks 😆
Which skill / build would be the fastest to get started on a fresh cycle with mage?
Hey guys, would dodge roll have consequences for some spellblade builds? I would imagine we don't necessarily need to use surge/teleport/flame rush anymore just for mobility.
i think the range of dodge will be smaller compared to those, they are still needed for mobility, also dodge has a cd as well so 2 dashes on a melee class will be very nice
I mean if we can fit it in there, sure.
Which for some builds might be easy.
Like spark will 100% use Surge anyway.
oh it is a separate key so you dont lose a skill slot
I know.
But because of that it becomes possible to not run any mobility.
Which gives you a slot for something else.
But also spark actually has mobility issues if it wants to use surge optimally (IE whenever it's available since it's a primary damage tool).
So the dodge roll only enhances that.
Can I share my intended passives and skills here? I have a good idea of how I want my passives to look in the end, but could use another set of eyes. (I'm not planning on just looking at a guide though).
I cannot even imagine a situation you wouldn't want a mobility tool unless the dodge has barely any cd and goes extremely far (doubt)
I'm doing a ward build and have the boots that give me ward but drain health. Somehow, though, I'm getting health back when I kill enemies, and I honest-to-God can't figure out where it's coming from lol. Can someone please take a gander at my character and give me a hand? I checked skills, passives, gear, blessings, and idols.
Sorc passive thats paired with pen
the sorcerer passive tree has life leeach in it, it's in the node that gives fire/ice/lightning damage and pen with leech afterwards
4th line they all give pen and leech for that element
Oh, that's where I get it from. Thanks!
if you are running sorc or rm you generally do want that node tho, since twisted hearth has a lot more ward generation then a low life build
I plan to do both. But yeah, I did notice my dps went down a lot as a consequence, and my ears generation went up but not by that much, so I think I may keep it after all. But hey, at least now I know!
devs just confirmed cycle is another 2 months
It’s a sad day for LE fans 😔
Why?
8 weeks instead of 2-6
I mean I expected it from the jump tbh
but still 😔
a 5+ month cycle is unacceptable
With such games time will be fly by unnoticed 🙃
especially when ythey already have the features for future cycles planned out it seems
Not even remotely true.
Seasonal games fall off massively after 3 months.
seasonal content updates are pretty much 3 months as per industry standards
taking longer kills interest
Don’t go to general chat lmao
they’re not accepting that this may not be the most sound decision
You're probably right, I just don't spend much time playing games😔
Hey guys, i wanna ask "again" for help. Couple minuts ago i believe i bought amazing Catalyst for frostclaw (want to finish it crafting, not sure about 2nd prefix what to roll there, what will be best.) About suffixes, i need all ele resistance + best will be void resistance. I want to also mirror this catalyst. Im going to slam it for 3lp enigma (got 2x 3lp enigmas just in case). Please advice what to roll, how to proced to the crafting from math point.. 41 forging potential.

And there is my actuall profile, to check my: crit chance/crit multi and items (to advice whats gonna be best 2nd prefix.) Im playing frostclaw from frozensentinel yt guide. Thanks alot.

Wait, there's people who don't want a solid finished product?
tbf they want that and 3 month seasons
which i guess i understand
but just pray its more finished in 1.1
I prefer things to be released when they can reasonably be released.
If you want it sooner, it evidently will not be ready for release.
Otherwise they would have released it sooner.
The thing that'll blow your mind is those people who will rage about a delayed releases are the same people who will rage about incomplete/unfinished releases. 😆
I mean of course, it should have just been finished sooner, right?
fk I just hope they dont go down the PoE path and add new league mechanics every single seasons
thats what killed PoE for me, so many league mechanics on top of already having to learn super indepth game mechanics
Eventually, they will probably get to that point or something related. EHG typically comes up with really good design solutions to stuff like that, but worst case it's not even a concern for years.
Hello
I have a question. I wanna ask you what should I change/improve in my build (I think it is ok but atm im stuggling sometimes). Is there a way to link my character here?
https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/YourUsername/character/YourCharactername this link can show people your character
Change the "yourusername" and "yourcharactername" part
Hm...
You know, it feels like
On the mage tree, the passives I choose while leveling up... Will not be the passives I will use later down the line.
Like I feel taking the health and the ward is pretty good, but becomes less of a big deal and I kinda want the int and resist instead. And the crit damage, which doesn't feel as useful early on.

Hey guys i need some piece of advice about Teleport Vs Flame Rush. Between the two skill which of the two will be beneficial endgame?
Depends on the build.
For Frostclaw runemaster for example.
Flame rush
Can turn it cold for the cold-fire-cold runic invocation shield
It has also has 18% DR and doubled for DoTs
How do I use Diothaen's Bloody Nib?
You want enchant weapon absolutely, it is way too strong on melee attacks
Basically the “standard” way is mana strike shatter strike, you can also do frost claw + shatter strike if you pair it with the 10 mana back on melee attack
It’s a gamble but if you’re lucky you don’t run out of mana
It’s a very underwhelming item tbh, I think you kinda need a bleed build idk
Bleed on yourself
Thank you 🙂 Now we can talk 😄
Im looking for an advice about what to change/improve in my character. I kind feel struggling around corruption (300). https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/oro1337/character/Waniushka
you want the armor blessing and you should change your amulet (omnis work until you get a good exhalted or just stay on omnis) and your rings (2x julra are good)
static shell also makes you much more tanky then unstable core
barbute as well intead of prismatic gaze
I was looking at it and you're probably right. I completely overlooked it. My previous Spellblade build did not use it. But that was because it was a spell build.
I also decided that even if I would use the bloody nib I'd already be well into empowered timelines.
Because it takes a lot of setup to not accidentally die.
Wont I lose tons of dmg if I use Barbute?
Dont have omnis and didnt even find one (150h in) but gonna try to find one. Got 4x julra with LP on it.
Got one static shell with LP but then im not gonna be able to mana sustain frostclaw :/
Im gonna work on blessings thank you.
I noticed that shatter strike and cold surge also have spell procs, does anyone ever use spell builds with cold?
Also how good is flame ward's retaliate if you're not stacking spell damage?
It feels like getting rid of the retaliate for more ward could be decent.
Does it help loading more chance to chill if I'm already getting 3 stacks on 1st hit ? What would adding more help?
if your problem is staying alive then you dont care much about damage, if you have no problem staying alive then keep prismatic it is a lot more damage, julra is a necessity until you get red rings even unslammed are better then your current rings
you want static shell for damage as well and you can sustain frostclaw mana with the nodes and idols
you need 3 points at least in spark of celerity and 2 idols with the mana cost of frost claw
Ok i understand. Gonna test it out and see how is it goign 🙂
Thank you so much man
yeah i think we all overlooked it xD but it is very strong, there are some very experienced spellblades here that can def help you more then i can
How needed is Flame Ward?
The straight up damage reduction node seems valuable tho.
10 mana back on melee?
Although.... Regarding flame ward, I wonder if I can bump up the freeze rate to absurd degrees.
Is Gamblers fallacy only able to be obtained from the soulfire bastion? Or can it be farmed elsewhere like a monolith?
only soulfire
very much needed or you basically die xD
with low life the ward retention and the high amount of ward it gives is a necessity
Just slammed 14int on Julra ❤️
there is a node in the spellblade tree that gives you 10 mana back on melee attack but only has a 30% chance
that with frostclaw can maintain your mana
High amount of ward?
NICE that's so much int
yeah, it is a lot for spellblade
Ye but i need somehow 24 in frostclaw ehhh
what you wanna do is live in dragon's timeline xD
it is not needed but its very nice to have 24 points in fc
What is there?
Ahhh LP heart
i know you are supposed to use the top part of the tree, check some builds with mana strike so you get an idea
Supposed to?
it could be your loot filter
ya people go with the top nodes, not the ranged ones but the right top part
Got it from FrozenSentinel 😛
no idea on that loot filter i did my own based on a generic one i found xD
Ah he have frost claw in it 😛
Well, there is a global damage buff there. But I'm trying to maximize mana gain in as few uses as possible.
If I were playing Spark I'd use the top half.
But that's because mana strike would be my basic attack.
yes and no, you want to use spellblade rightmost passive as well
More or Equal than 6 (its ok?)
ya t6 or t7 is fine
The one that gives it a cooldown?
no the one where using low mana cost melee attack gives more damage to high cost melee attacks
rightmost and bottom
Oh on the passive tree.
yep
But then I'd be alternating constantly. 😦
exactly why i dont use it since i do not like using mana strike xD
Like wouldn't it be better to shatter strike twice?
That would deal double damage rather than a mere 15%
Rude.
Pray cycle 1 will give you a lifeline
But seeing the road map, even that is copium

Does mana strike give mana per enemy hit?
not true i enjoy it, idc if it cant push a billion corruption, it is fun and that's all that matter for me anyway
Don't bother, they're not worth your time.
I'm not saying otherwise, I just stated what I see everytime I look here
And this Manock guy is offended by nothing

the only part i dont like is that it is too much a "fighter" rather then a mage
but spell + melee feels worse
See what you mean? You literally instantly insulted me for no reason, maybe act like a normal human being
I never insulted you.
.
Does the sky get insulted when I call it blue?
Anyway, back to work, maybe this guy learns some common skills in communication till I get back, and learn how to read skill descriptions while he's at it
I never did anything, maybe read again what I said
You're just huffing some massive copium cos you know you're in the wrong
You said, and I quote "Spellblade enjoyers suffering is all I see in this chat honestly" followed by omegalul.
There is this nice button on discord, you can mute people, if you think I'm a troll, just hit it
Yeah because it's true
I even said enjoyers
Where did I say you're bad at the game, or the class is bad
It's not, it's just outdated, I even pray they buff it
And you're just offended
Like man what is your problem
Oh my, saying something offensive and then people get offended, surprised Pikachu face.
You just can't stop.
Yes, cos I never started
Hope spellblade gets buffed so it's more fun to play, peace,
Bro I started talking with you and omnis just dropped... 😄
I am 'suffering', I 'need a lifeline', I'm on 'copium', I'm 'offended by nothing', I 'don't act like a normal human being', I 'need common skills in commiunication' I 'need to learn how to read skill descriptions', I'm 'huffing massive copium', I 'have personal issues', but no no, you 'never started'.
Oh that's cool. Grats.
Is 999+ frostbite stacks and 600k DoT ok?
That sounds like a lot but honestly idk. What corruption?
200, but haven't pushed yet. starting the corruption grind now
Spellblade 🔛🔝
On a dummy? That's about mediocre, definitely a good start tho, on actual bosses if you hit for about 15-20k you'll be good for a while
My frostbite on a dummy is near 7mil, aprox 7k stacks, but that's pretty much endgame near bis build
Real DMG on boss is 100-120k
Per tick
I'll check soon. farming outcasts and abomination is permafrozen, takes about 10 sec. Only level 90 now and having a hard time with LP's and exalts
I just switched from ice scepter to ladle, waiting for good LP Ire. What are you using?
Hello, for a runemaster's invocation, does my cast speed allow the invocation (hydra for ex) to shoot at a faster rate ?
