Switched from ice barrage FC RM to elenova frostbite FC recently, does anyone experience massive FPS drops whenever nova procs?
feelsbadman, was looking to have some explody fun too. Just rolled a +4 FC heart recently too but it just turned into more FPS loss sadge
It's bad, yes. Not as bad as detonating arrow rogue, though! That build makes my fps drop from 165 down to "freeze game for 12 seconds" 😆

the trick I read that's worked like 90% of the time for me on rogue and with frame rush is to be clicking PAST the gate on the other side and as soon as it starts moving you, click your movement skill with it pointed past the gate
preferably deep past the gate
no idea but generally i use runic invocation and it works 100% of the time
not only through gates
but through walls too
like if a gate is locked u can attempt to jump through a wall a lil further as it might have a path unlocked on that side

The shred to frostbite is only extra frostbite that doesn't show in the char sheet

No, it's a conversion, so the armor shred goes away on your cold skills. Doesn't matter for frostbite builds anyway.

things that are really tanky? should give better rewards

their exp isn't particularly noteworthy, their drops aren't special, they're just these random annoyances that don't compensate you proportionate to the effort/risk they pose

I made 3 characters - rogue on CoF, got frustrated cause the drops were trash and it felt like a waste of my time. Spun up an MG rogue - was much better - but by 500 corruption I was only rank9 and buying items to try to upgrade my build + spinning up a mage alt for fun drained all my favor really easily ... and I haven't even been listing stuff to sell

its fine if your aco exalted armor has ZERO acolyte affixes. If your acolyte exalted armour has 1 acolyte affix and by some luck it gets slammed onto static shell, your mage wont be able to put it on.
Crafting does check the base item because based on what you say, then u will be able to slam Exalted gloves on Unique helms if its jsut based on affixes lol

People usually recommend just slamming whenever you get something reasonable. Or you could be like me and still be sitting on my 4 lp sunwreathe that ill never find a ring good enough for me to slam xd

we are talking odds of 1 out of multiple millions that it drops
Press d to timeshift, theres a big aoe explosion after she starts lighting runes up in a circle around the arena. When the last rune lights up it goes off (1 shot on harder difficulties). You can press d to dodge it and wait for he to go to the new time zone after the aoe. Past that, you just need a 4 affix exaulted item to be able to slam on the unique item with lp. The level of the dungeon (1, 2, 3 or 4) decides the max level the item can be for using the cache at the end. Finally, you have to use the cache in the bright time line (I think divine) by putting the items there, then switch to the dark timeline to pull your item out
I didnt say that the odds of it dropping were 1%. I said that the 1% is the percentage of people who get that next hit cause they didnt quit gambling 😉

yep i meant julra. There is a stash in the room where you forge the item so you'll be good on that. You can only forge one item per dungeon run tho

tier of dungeon = level of item. If you have a level 15 item with 4 lp, the tier 1 dungeon can forge it. But it wont be able to forge a level 75 item in example. Those levels should be noted when you're selecting the dungeon tier

you shouldnt need more than 1 source of leech
maybe u can run 2 until you do more damage/ but generally just the passive is enough
idk man like the way MG gets mid-late cycle where you can buy certain 1/2lp items for literally like zero gold or buy mid-tier weavers that are still better than 90% of the ones you'll see drop normally on CoF for like pennies ... I don't think it's just "a little speed" of gear acquisition

Being about to just outright buy things on MG for a reasonable price is ridiculous compared to what CoF gets
Sure the loot explosion looks neat and "in theory" you can get specific things or good things with it but like, in practice it's pretty darn potato
MG makes getting to end game more stream lined for sure. But browsing shops was only fun at the start; got tedious when you are shopping for 1% power level upgrades. COF may take longer but i think i might have gotten more enjoyment out of the game and would probably still be playing if I was CoF

MG is stronger the more people that are in it. COF’s strength is capped.
I don't like playing MG but it was way less depressing since at the end of the day "You will definitely get some crap someone else wants that's worth money" which directly equates to "Now I can go buy something I actually want"

then go lightless and ignore monos

or if u require favor u do some monos

but i aint here to do some dog content where i 1 shot the boss and the gambling part takes longer than the dungeon

D4 had the right idea that the most desirable items / important loot just straight tf up gets sent to your storage if you somehow miss it
sometimes there's like a 4 or 5 second delay before the drop animation even activates
