It lends itself best to slower skills, like lethal mirage or forge strike
It will certainly be fun regardless
Yes
873% generic ignite chance now lol, plus some melee/skill chance
786 ignite damage per stack plus all the ignite pen from res, i feel like i should be dealing a lot more damage
@alpine canopy fire pen/dot pen from atrophy or judgement glove should be fairly low value when fireres stacking paladin blade right? maybe i just use some generic exalted glove
Season 4: Shattered Omens / 1.4.5

Is this cooked ???
what? you can get volcanic orb to use on sentinel?
the ring has a 100% chance to use it yes
im even apalled you could come up with something as dope as that lol
I have a 3lp lament as well 🤔
There might be a better spell to use
So you can go VK instead
But my mind is on Shield Throw rn
all im saying is DO IT
rotting in my stash
I wont ^^
Got too many build on the list before that one
Yeah, you should end up with pen in the ballpark of 1k%
I'm losing my mind trying to hunt for 3lp Titan's Heart :/
I'd recommend making VR a non-traversal so you don't lose your stacks from the spear
But then you can't procc VO
Oh!
You need a fire melee
It only takes a melee
Not necessarily a fire traversal
Yeah 😁
Even better
ugh my highest mono is at 282 yet my catch up will put me at 274
1 below next harbinger corruption
....
That's why on the first climb I always go to like 340 ish
Debris tried volcanic orb forgeguard it was meh at best but maybe there is some cool tech there
more orobyss kills wont push the catch up thing over the threshold either right
Gaze might?
didnt seem like it, gaze just ate up the already existing corruption i wouldve gotten
just gonna push outward to 300+ now, feeling decently strong
after I stopped looking for it, I get the vit/str amulet 😄
16s dummy kill with my crit judgement paladin using this amulet damn
with a similar amulet but dex/attunement conversion 30s
that means you do dummy damage on uberoth then
hm? did 1 attempt on uber, was a joke lol
You bonked him?
giga
Noice
You played gavel right?
yep
Gavel, jormun

Wait
You don't have jormun set
I want to play a jormun +'Weaver set and dual wield nest + Atropos

with a proper belt, would replace the brewmaster
Void vengeance?
Ah, they also give more melee dmg, don't they?
Guy's I need help with this build. I am trying to get ignite, Damage over Time, and Attunement and Vitality and i've been doing a crap ton of Monos and i don't get squat. I'm a level 70 paladin
also pretty comfortable that I regularly stun aberroth with judgement skipping the first and last slam
I made an autobomber paladin using warpath as a vehicle to cast smite etc any critque or ideas would be welcome https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/Hojana/character/WalkingSim
Also if anyone has any recommendations to buff my boss/single target dmg on my VK https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/Hojana/character/KreutzfeldJacob so I can do Uber easier. I can do 2.1k corruption maps but boss dmg is very low
I think you forgot to corrupt your gear
Is that Hardcore ?
No, seasonal
Softcore
I get that you are trying to get ST and Smite, but I feel like you would get a lot more dmg going only smite
Also you got some hit/crit investment and some Ignite
You need to go one or the other
Also why are you stacking so much Attunement ?
does reprisal shield ignore the cooldown from colossus because if it does you definitely should take colossus
Yes it does
lots of procs like that do ignore cooldowns
siege breaker*
smite on throwing hit idols with a lot of ricochets on ST could be good
and I agree focusing on ignite or hit makes sense
lava burst and smite scale off attunement
it does
No
according to tool tip
🤡
Lava Burst is a subskill of Shield Throw
It "inherits" attribute scaling from its parent skill
Here Str and Dex
Well it doesnt matter all that much its mostly for ignite and smite
i was also using the primordial chest piece reflect but tried out the t8 belt for funzies
Do you mean flame burst?
the rfelct dmg scales off attunement
Yes
yes, sadly
If we want to be technical and really thorough (and potentially confusing)
The tag isnt wrong, but it doesnt serve any purpose.
If you were to cast lava burst from you, it would scale with Att.
But since it comes from your shield throw, it uses shield throw stats.
It should not be appearing
Thats for sure
@waxen nymph do you know if it's intentional that gavel multiplies exalted weapons with a set affix on it?
Do you know if two of my swords dual wielded would proc smite independently of each other or would they share a cooldown
I mean, its still exalted
I was using thicket of blinding light chest piece since i had it lying around with 24 attunement and max health
not in the name
Imo work as intended
And I think it was asked
Chance are added and procc rate is shared
You are still capped at 3/sec
and I think this build variant is better than other weps + frenzy belt
How do you even know this 😂
someone smarter than me, so current setup is wildfire ember vengeance blade paladin ignite (on paladin), would bleed potentially be stronger since it can grab more duration? its doing fine early corruption but i dont really see it in 800-1k
hard to say tbh.
the ignite pen that you can get with paladin is kind of useless because of how strong blade paladin is and the duration paladin gets for bleed is good but it's the only thing paladin really does for bleed builds
bleed gloves are very good but competing with immortal vise which feels almost mandatory for any melee build
right theyd be kinda mandatory swapping to bleed, otherwise all the ignite chance is wasted
hmm
Won't have the double dip on res with bleed
It never is
right, and tbh, idk if iron blades add more chance, i think the wisp copies trigger a fair amount so maybe bleed is not even close
and no proliferation
You get quadratic scaling with fire res for ignite, don't get anything like that for bleed
alright i'll see how it goes, was considering using the vengeance mace too since it does start with a good attackspeed roll but its still slow compared to an exalted sword
id have a few more multipliers left to grab though
the mace isn't that slow with a good attack speed roll
idk what would be better than it
36% speed 1.2 sword was quite a bit faster than my 51% mace so feels like it would still need another speed roll
thats without sword attackspeed nodes
wait how do the attackspeed nodes on vengeance work, those arent generic additive speed nodes right? or do i misremember
rip
alright normal abby went down smoothly, think the highest ignite i seen was like 250k
not bad not great i guess
If you're going to run ignite, firestarter seems mandatory
on a melee though? usually id agree but im gonna have no attackspeed at all anymore
it is probably better than the remaining 4-5 points id get with the vengeance mace though.. hmm
ignite vengeance is strong, you can do 1k corruption easy
maybe its time to dualwield, that'll add some damage and speed \o/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peDUjEx_8FY mistia s build
this build does 1k corruption, and kills UA (2min)
yeah mistia is a beast
surely renegades hit damage multiplier doesnt somehow also apply to ignite like the hit damage nodes do .. right?
lmao i thought about just corrupting a bunch of wing guards too
Did you have any advice about my VK for bosssing? Besides corrupting i dont have replacement
Yeah, its attack speed isn't the worst ever, and it has such a big multi it's hard to beat; and low LPL so you can get a nice one relatively easy
Very unlikely to be bugged that way
get a better weapon, try to get attack speed from corruption
This is bugged in favor of dot vengeance ,hit shouldn't affect dot ever ,so its inflating damage in a good way big
does this mean the longer i spin in warpath the higher my crit chance is gonna be?
no, channel cost is what increases, mana cost stays at 1, so it has no effect
what is a fun off meta build for sentinel?
If you consider time rot shield throw to be off meta, that's a good one
time rot shield throw without shield throw? 😛
what is better merchants guild or circle of fortune ( i dont play super often)
I hate trade, so I'll say CoF 😅
why do you hate it
Because I got ptsd from Poe trade
And I like looting my items
i know the feel xd
havent heard that before, i feel like the levels of friction trading in LE and PoE are in different universes 😄
but CoF is just chill, get more than enough stuff and can target whatever you need
Did MG for starter first time this season, was pretty fun.
Also the UI got improved heaps, which is something I can't say about CoF 😄
did cof need any? mg sure did
Mostly the clicking for prophecies DDoSing you effectively (you can't do anything else, can't see chat, no filters).
I play in groups a lot and someone disappearing to spend CoF favor is a total vibe killer.
Rerolling prophecies is awful yeah
Total buzz killer
Hopefully the rework next season is good
Because when the loot drop from prophecies
It feels amazing (at least I like it)
speaking of, time to chase some unique mace drops for lp renegades
At the current rate the weaver tree does more for loot than CoF does.
hammer throw doesn't have quite the same multipliers but you can get like 6.5x on it and it chains with no cooldown
yeah hammer rot was pretty great too
say does palarus smite chance add up when wielding 2 or do they independantly roll chance to trigger smite?
Added chance
Same procc cap
still got a double wielding double stat stacking palarus setup on my mind but might turn out rather weak
oh my
my only double ex amulets so far are corrupted ones, i suppose we cant use these for weaver imprints?
@waxen nymph for testing purposes I wanna compare my judgement build to a frenzy belt version. Which weapons would you recommend? I have my eyes on eye of reen, but not quite sure for the second slot. The Jormun blade is probably still a good choice.
Atropos
Naal Tooth
Nest of Nightmare
Hakar phoenix
Reforged Kuzon sword
Reforged Jormun axe
Renegade will
Firestarter Torch
👍
SSF is entirely possible in PoE but it does requirement game knowledge or looking things up external to the game so I get that.
Sure, but I don't have 4k hours in Poe, checking stuff on external ressources is a pain in the butt
And going ssf multiplies the time needed to do smth by a lot
Yeah it is possible only if you are jobless to farm 10h a day for pretty much everything
That's a massive exaggeration not to mention ARPGs in their very nature take a long time to min/max a character.
Also it doesn't really matter how quickly or slowly you progress because the only person you're competing with is yourself.
I could use that amulet... on my planned Harbinger of the Stars Paladin...
holy shi... im still at zero not even low rolled ignite blessings over here what is this
And multiply casts of Smite and Meteor?
the ammy is pretty fun
its a shame ailments are sooo ability tied in terms of balance
a few will make it shine and the rest is just not worth even trying
I came up with this weird build a while back.
I enjoy the Meteor Sorc build, but I hate being squishy.
I figured I could give up some damage and use a Smite-based build instead, but get all the choncc of the Sentinel passive tree.
Thus my build was born. It's probably terrible. It's probably a meme, but I sure do wanna try it.
I was gonna go VK so the Smites could echo and therefore have additional opportunities to crit, but they can only do that if I convert to Void....
This amulet kinda echoes it for me?
Probably doesn’t count as Echo, just as a extra cast
This was a good season for MG imo. Both are pretty satisfying to play
But I appreciated how strong budget gear w/ corrupted affixes was this season.
So it was easy to instantly have a functioning set for a new build on a budget.
It doesn't count, but extra casts are almost functionally identical to echoes, so I still get what I was looking for.
Both cases are an extra instance of the skill, in this case Smite (or possibly even Meteor!), so I'm good.
Noice!
Oof. Funnily enough, I got perfect roll ignite on my first run with my spellblade
i think i first try maxed allres one on this guy
Yeah, the way your ignite blessing hunt is going is usually the all res hunt for me
that was a first for me too, usually its like 15.. 16... 18... 19...
Ye it was.
I always start off playing my strongest build from the previous season.
Just so I start off comfy.
I immediately saw the dumpster fire that rogues were and quickly dumped some cash into 2LPs that were underpriced. Continued playing my VK for a day or two then switched
man the champion omen echo is just silly
Ahh. I started on Spellblade, the build was traaash but MG let me pivot into a different direction and it was 10x better.
Then Made a lich and paladin, was able to get them uber worthy for under 10M gold.
Just buying budget LP, corrupting them until I get something good. It's basically better than a higher LP item and cheap to obtain.
Also the ability to buy gauntlet of strife fodder
Buying 1 affix legendaries for cheap, corrupting it into a 2 affix to reroll LP2s for cheap.
afaik CoF players can do this too via a MG alt
you can use MG bricks to re-roll COF items without issue
Yeah my #2 char each season is making a cheap uber killer. I think my falconer cost like 1.5mil to push the first uber kill.
nice, from terrible luck to 80 to 100
Yep haha as long as you have MG favor. I had one of each char last season it was great for this. Even better this season
Was probably a safe guess that Rogue would three-peat as EHG favorite class of the season.
😂
I got my money on Rogue for next season too.
The one class I didn't touch this season, maybe it is next.
Rogue is ehg favorite class every league rofl
Hi @simple reef re: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QdzJY48k, I am trying to incorporate it with my build thus making it hybrid.
If I am going to use, healing hands (for comfy in mapping since leech is crossed out), which skill should i de-spec?
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified

▸ Armor Mitigation: 26% (1,163)
▸ Crit Avoidance: 24%
i dont think you should be using brutality in maps period
if you want to go "hybrid" the way you go hybrid is you don't use brutality because that thing will just get you one shot period
you can use frenzy belt & rampancy if you'd like
thanks! It's just me being lazy to switch out exulis and re-applying skill points. I guess im gonna remove that when mapping
oh question again, is the Stymied fate necessary? or would army of skins do (with the same slams)?
if you get good gear you can prob get a 40s uber without brutality
(dont quote me on that)
prob foot of the mountain?
i mean if you want to map
just use darkstride
ok but for uber, still stymied fate?
I have the standard build but cannot finish uber consistently especially on the last 20% hp. I feel I need more DPS.
oh I noticed late that I am wearing brutality on the nihilis. I am using +1 to all skills originally.
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/BM6xpp5e
So if I swap out some stuff
rings -> julra rings
belt -> berserker
amulet -> exulis (str + vit)
For skills, swap symbols to abyssal echoes? but then I would need to solve crit cap right? or not anymore as the shattered worlds would solve it?
would that solve it? I am farming uber on my bladedancer tho to get the LP1 + frenzy corrupt. freakin hard to get -__-

yeah or foot of the mountain
and idk about your crit cap bro rofl there's only one way to know and it's doing the math
idk what u need healing hands for
idr which skill setup i used for my ES kill this season but like
u can prob just do that lol
Stymied boots give you another more multi since you are wearing julra rings so you dont have access to doom if you dont wear the boots
okay. I am just trying to put Healing Hands on the build (since we cannot leech) so I can use the same toon on monos haha
Anomaly can fix the leech problem with one of its leech nodes thinks
ye anomaly can fix it
but also like i told you
you can't use brut in maps
it's not about the leech it's about armor
No armor 💀
like it doesnt matter if you leech or if you heal via healing hands
if you just get one shot
Thanks @austere frost
@simple reef alrighty, I can swap out equips on monos -- I will swap exulis out. then try your skill build here for monos
It is pretty handy. I loved falconer when I started playing it. One of the more unique classes too.
What is the consensus on the sunforged set when playing forge strike ? Should i use it or it isn't worth it ?
Sets are generally good starters, especially when you maximise their stats with rune of corruption. Later on other uniques or exalteds with set affixes simply outperform the set items. Forge strike is generally not a good skill to use due to low damage scaling. With set or without

i couldnt wait any longer for double exalts and probably wouldve not landed 2 mods anyway
Spicy
that should be a fat upgrade over pretty much dead mod 0lp one
Thanks
I don't use forgestrike, i juste use the minions thar I create with vengeance
Hi guys, newb Q.... Is the affix from set prefix or suffix?
Prefix
ohhh i forgot i can easily use this. Thank you!
I think that 99.9% of set affixes are prefix FYI maybe there is a special case but in general
@simple reef hmm judgement might have the one shot potential here
if i imprinted this id never get a +4 vengeance would i? it doesnt upgrade tiers like that right?
you could naturally upgrade, but the chance is very low
also the 0 FP would probably hurt more
Definitely lower than that, there's nowhere close to 1k different set items, and more than one are suffixes
Actually really easy to find on LE Tools, it's 88% are prefixes lol
yeah that too, need to work on helmets now im still running a blank +4 piece of crap
dammit nemesis, how am i gonna reroll that base now?
removal hit the void res 😏
(but also who uses exalted shields?)
mistia for his ignite guy and i can see why now
its cool having a lot of endurance but it just never works for 100-0's
hes using doubleres 35% block base shield
what do you mean? endurance applies to one-shots
damage doesn't bypass your endurance by coming in a big chunk from above your endurance threshold
wait what?
endurance always applies to oneshots partially then?
then im surprised how hard ive been hit at times already
Damage in this game is very erratic some stuff shouldn't do as much damage and they do anyway and it has always been like this since forever
Sometimes you are like with all this dr how I take so much damage still ,shades could use a nerf someday still way too overtuned
yeah
also noticed that harbinger echo is completely unchanged, and after like the 7th guy i just get onetapped by the dumb ranged adds that spawn
whatever reason they put those on there
it was at least in S2
when every subsequent spawn gets stronger
I'm sure it was supposed to be fixed already, I guess the bug came back

oh no that must be fixed then, was just high damage in general but not really ramping
what do i put on it before i corrupt it?
halfway in it's basically dark souls
speaking of, how hard is that 400 omen echo compared to the fading brink harbinger chain
not that insanely hard but hes tanky
alright
yep, % max health gained as endurance threshold is a good stat
What build u plan to use it for?
its gonna rot in my chest in the end
any good divine bolt (healing hand) build?
it's about as invested in divine bolts as you get
but it's mostly ignite vengeance with divine bolts as a bonus
i was about to say hey thats literally another vengeance wildfire guy
oof now how do i turn this into my dream shield to go block
he's 5/5 in divine bolts in healing hands (dunno if he knows it's on direct use only and 1/5 would do) and 4/4 and 5/6 in the passive tree. Ignites take advantage of every damage scalar possible for divine bolts (other than the +flat I guess).
I don't think there is anything else to invest in to make divine bolts work well
i know, mistia takes 4 points for divine bolts too but without the multiplier (not sure thats really worth but i assume he tested)
need.. more.. runes...
maybe it is still bugged in some way, last dudes beam hit me for over 7k damage with vengeance buff up and high endurance lmao
My preferred method is to hit Redemption over and over until it runs out of Forging Potential, and then throw it out.
I have gained 0 dream items this way though, so maybe don't listen to me.
wow VK shield throw looks sick 🤯
anyone tried? https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/time-rot-void-knight-guide
Of course st timer tot has been op strong since 1.3 much stronger now
It just that maxroll finally made a guide about it
I would look out a Chinese player called mistia in YouTube her builds are insane and she has amazing time rot variants builds
Cant wait to see their original Erasing Strike TR
uuh
do i just send the last fireres upgrade and use this .. i doubt i will find another good 2ex/4mod any time soon
i do..
alright observer down .. what a weird fight thats half an UA lmao
Thanks! tbh I feel like it's very difficult to build non-uniques this league. I feel the forging potential is never enough haha.
nevertheless, this time rot looks exciting to build. 😄
Original 🤣
Rating every skill by how strong they apply time rot
my first 2lp vise just ruined, my feeling hurts
guess imma take a break 🫡
ST and ER are the best
Hammer 3rd
There was this Warpath dude that was doing 1k Corruption with Time Rot but I wouldnt recommand
Time rot is pretty solid at high corruption. Seeing those 10-20m ticks feels great with combo close to 200m on rares/bosses
With Warpath?
Shield Throw is probably way better than Warpath as it had access to more multipliers I think
And gearing is way better too
For Warpath you want a lot of mana for warrior Fury
That's a lot of prefix
i much prefer void cleave over hammer throw
For time Rot?
yeh
Not a lot of More Dmg inside VC, no?
or saying that even shield rush
???
vengance and abysll echoes both have more multipliers for void cleave
That's irrelevant because you'll use them in every build
youll use them in hammer throw yeh ?
ES has 50/50/75 and 40 duration
Forgot about the more dmg to slowed enemies
But there this theore dmg to blinded enemies
That one is pretty easy to use
finally got some ignite duration now, but man, spam enchanting idols is never fun but i see a chance killing UA with this setup so kinda have to
oh yeh for sure but both abysll and vengenace have a specific more node fro vc and es for 80% and 45% more specifically
Then ES is just better
Since it has more More Dmg in the tree
VC does look nice indeed
yeh i was just saying i prefer VC over hammer throw is all, build feels a little smoother than ES
for map clear at least
for pure dps ES and ST are king though
Clear with ST is amazing
i did enjoy shield rush the most though 😂
With all the bounce and TR spread
to be fair orbs did most of the heavy lifting for mapping
i would only ST on rare packs/ champions etc
Shield throw is generally amazing for aoe clear
Same with the spellcrit version I played
Will play some d4 now and the will get back to LE
Will try some melee shenanigans with the str/vit conversion Exulis I got
i was moaning about this the other day, i have 35 exulis now, not one is brutatlity and rampancy.....
😭 😭 😭
ok pinnacle of chaos is kinda massive for good altar drops
also just melting now at 500c
now i "JUST" need more ignite enchanted large idols ...
tried shield throw time rot, holy cow I instantly fell in love with it. crazyyyyyy
The boost is crazy I can tell you. Good luck on finding one
With the build I shared here recently I completely skip Ubers first phase
And at the end I also skip his big void laser and the second slam
This nodes dont work for ailments so no time rot boost
And paladin has the defensive resources to deal with the loss of Armor and health scaling
Judgement can one shot uber FYI but that being said offline ,in an online matter with like maybe 2t7 not sure
Which one as neither say hit damage so I’m not sure where you’re getting that from
Because the people that tried both saw 0 difference in time rot damage since conditional damage is not applied to dot is applied to hit damage
No shield throw. On bosses to hit those 200m ticks mapping just orbs 20m
Weird when I tried mistias version it did
I’ll test again to be sure
Or ask Mike why it isn’t when it should be
He ll respond
My references for this are noobzor daimonos ,this people do far more testing i do.
No I don’t doubt you and I trust them over myself for sure, this was last patch when I tested them so I could be wrong 100%
I can't be bothered anymore trying to see if everything works 😅 ,getting tired chief
Does anyone know if corruption on shield applying mark of death to yourself and enemies is a feature or a bug?
if you play dual palarus multistrike with the smite node, do you even still deal any melee damage at all?
I don't think palarus with multismite is a good idea
mana with devotion adds way way more flat damage than str with palarus
not set on the skill yet but i wanted to do something with dual stat stacking and the new stat stack set amulet (+skills/+crit per x stats)
the trigger rate on melee on palarus is kinda pathetic though, 3 / sec seems so little
i was 50/50 on it though, figured the melee portion might not be worth it whatsoever
With smites replacing the swords, you still need to hit with the basic melee portion of multistrike, though you will likely not scale it at all and not bother with any damage nodes on multistrike since they don't apply to smite
and imo, I'd almost always grab aurelis + palarus rather than dual palarus
A wand can be interesting
I didn't follow if this was for a crit setup
i only tried paladin briefly but found getting the right mana breakpoints with devotion tricky. but for vk ladle + aurelis performed the best of everything i tested by a good margin so i’d imagine it would be similar for pala
was that multi-smite on paladin?
I'd guess that Xylem would still be the best option for multi-smite on paladin given how good it makes attunement scaling with devotion
1-1.6 flat & 4% inc per attunement is really good
i tried doing multismite on paladin briefly, but i found it tricky to get the mana pools to cooperate properly
you’re gonna consume a lot of mana on multismite against single targets regardless, so being low without going oom kinda annoying
I saw someone playing omnividence VK multismite in 1.3 and it looked actually fairly good at 1kc and I'd guess Xylem would be basically the same for Paladin
and if you’re paladin and using devotion you probably want to go lightning which means there’s a big incentive to go for the bolts but lmao no thats not gonna work
ye it works fine on vk bc you don’t go for devotion and also you have void well for really long single target encounters
time and faith helps a fair bit
ye ofc but bladestorm just chews through mana in prolonged single target encounters unfortunately
omni has extra -cost so you can get free smites basically, no need for void well then
yeahhh only scaling one portion, aurelis just seems like a straight upgrade, unfortunate
it’s not the smites that chew through your mana, it’s bladestorm, smites cost 0 even just with ladle
but if i went selfcast it would probably be xylem/devotion/fissure
Bladestorm on its own doesn't outpace time and faith normally, is it your echoes that kill your mana then?
and to be clear, I do mean omni with the extra bolts
oh idk why you’d use lightning bolts with omniv
fissure is just much worse than lightning bolts sadly
for more hits basically
i mean
how u getting the skill points?
shouldn't the bolts just inherit smite's vit scaling with renouncement?
as a subskill
They are subskills, so they get whatever scaling smite got
i didnt think they did because they don’t convert
huh really
but lightning bolts are int scaling still thats so bad
Damage type conversions aren't inherited automatically, those are manually done, but stats are automatic
nope, they're a subskill they inherit smite's scaling
Not again
they’re still pretty low value in a point hungry tree and they either make mana a real problem or force you to use a worse weapon
(on vk at least)
oh alright, do they still all hit singletarget or something? i assume that makes it electrify DoT instead of fissure right, or is that decent hitbased as well
hit based, one of the bolts can hit the same target as the smite and it should deal about 2/3 as much damage
smite isn't good for ailments imo
sacrifice's 250% more just isn't enough
👀 did i do something
i really thought fissure was still very strong endgame
well, you can probably make it work but spelldot is not usually great
fissure has always been far worse than crit endgame
it does well on low gear and thats about it
if you trigger 3 fissures/s you get 9 concurrent max and that's 1800ADE/s roughly
the void beams in the VK tree do more than that IIRC
they do lmao
though they don't have their own unique multi I guess
thats a decent way to compare i guess, makes sense
Smite is quite good for them imo, mainly because you get a ton of them with low investment
renouncement adds void damage per vit so the lightning bolts not converting isn't the end of the world
that multi is offset by the loss of crit, especially when you can get 100% cm from the tree alone
but getting the hit damage vs ignited is probably better for single target
lightning bolts trigger with triggered smites too? doesnt look like it has to be self cast?
hammer throw is right there
yep, definitely increases single target damage for lightning multismite
it’s possible that lightning bolts are better single target (they generally weren’t when i tested) than hit vs ignited, but the only situation where that’s worth the mana cost imo is selfcast on paladin
maybe its time to revive hitbased hammersmite, only did that once way back in beta
proc limit hit it pretty hard
though the doublecast spam is fun as hell too
that's not even a trade-off for self cast paladin because you're definitely getting both
true that
ye and the mana cost is an upside lol
I don't think the lightning bolts would get the damage vs ignited though would they?
it's a multi conditional on the status of the enemy so subskills wouldn't get it
they do not correct
and ye only xylem users have enough points
that’s how it is with almost everything
unless it is explicitly specified it’s generally a safe presumption
yep if it's more damage IF you have XYZ then it should work for subskills. more damage IF enemy has XYZ doesn't
there are exceptions like conc ground but
more damage if enemy has XYZ doesn't work for ailments either afaik (they mostly specify hit damage but I've heard that's a spaghetti code issue rather than a balance decision, who knows really tho)
yeah they specially adjust individual skills as it takes their fancy to make it work
Yeah, that's what I mean, you take any good throwing skill for ailments, then tack on smites and you get more
Unless you go chaining hammers, iirc hammer's ailment multi is identical to smite's
uhhhh i might have to try this then, my first and only xylem build kinda fell flat
with devo playstyle you get that nice damage reduction too thats neat
is it? I've done chaining hammers TR but haven't tried a nova or orbiting hammers bleed setup
try what? multismite VK?
self cast smite with xylem is definitely better than any self cast void knight smite build
nah rather not melee at all if palarus dual setup is just shite most likely
so selfcast xylem
yeah it's very good
the combo of xylem & devotion makes attunement add up to 1.6 flat and 4% inc per point
and you get enough skill points to just get everything good in smite
electrify javelin siege barrage/smite might be kind of nice
meteor belt
get some less damage taken and automate it
wait what
though if you get really huge amounts of mana even meteor belt won't do it
i need to look at that thing again
chance on (spell?) crit to cast meteor, it costs you mana, 1% less damage taken per meteor cast recently
Yeah, it is, although siege barrage feels terrible to play long term imo lol
I first tried siege barrage via phalanx so the direct use felt snappy and responsive relative to that
so thats not even just a map start item swap you run it permanently for the other benefits?
if you want to swap items then the lightning scepter which converts your mana to ward is quickest
but swapping +4 skills out would be annoying af
right
no cooldown echoes is dependable and you control it but it takes a skill spec and it's slower than meteor belt spam
yeah i can see that, bit of DR from a belt seems decent too
i would much rather it automate me to lowest possible mana too
ye meteor belt is easy and fast
can also use tundra helm to help, it’s a pretty good helmet anyways (tho usually worse than leonine)
it can put you a bit negative, but not like some of the old bugs that could get you -2k mana
I don't actually know how any of those bugs worked, but I have seen some big big negative mana values with devotion
thats funny, that had no benefit i assume though right, or did that still grant more flat
it still does
and crit is still a realistic setup with xylem devotion, being a paladin and all that?
it’s the way to go
there have been bugs where you could go basically infinite negative mana for devotion a few times
people oneshot uber with it and things
ye
yes absolutely
dps wise it’s way superior but imo selfcast vk has such nice qol, tankiness and speed compared to paladin
I saw a tribolecta multi-smite on the ladder
partially dismantled though
missing items and incomplete skill trees
hopefully this ignite setup can farm UA soon so i can play around with that gear, last season i kinda just killed him at the very end and done nothing with his gear really
as a bit of a smite enthusiast i think either going for selfcast on paladin with xylem or multistrike on vk is the best thing to be doing dps wise
https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/galugalu/character/AutoBomber now this is a cool build, not sure it's particularly good but it's very cool
but i still love my zdps selfcast vk ☺️
how many triggered nukes do you want? Yes
how comparable in difficulty is UA to the new boss, what was his name overseer?
the teleporting was frustrating af not gonna lie lol
harder for sure
it’s definitely interesting
not sure about the combo of impair the weak and no abyssal decay
UA i assume yea?
interesting drop lmao, would that teleport your totems? hahaha
yes
ye he’s def harder than oro
observer is meant to be between normal and uber aberroth and they got that more or less right
hmm
i found him pretty frustrating in a different way but damage dealt by him i guess it is right inbetween
maybe its a good thing i might still be practiced enough for ua
vision can be kinda annoying with the res shred on some builds and he has a lot of projectiles
and the teleporting can be giga annoying
ya at some point i just couldnt get any hits off/dot on him for leech
swapped to brewmaster buckle today though and finally got a ignite duration helm so made some huge progress
also need to improve rolls on these
love these boots together with proliferation makes me feel so safe in omens
Don't worry, it's the whole attribute subskill scaling
to be fair it is confusing, even in the DB you sometimes see the same skills but one is used by a different classes skill and the other is an item proc and both scale differently
but the skill inheriting thing helps to know
guess i found some xylem gloves, though maybe you want castspeed on a glove
oh wait devotion gives massive castspeed i forgot
probably still want cast speed (but mana good too), definitely want armor shred
devotion only gives 50% inc at most which is really nice but doesn't mean you don't want it elsewhere
yeah was just going over item slots and forgot about that part
well then, right after getting more prophecies, probably the only reason why that was successful
Holy!
that on ur vengeance ignite build?
yup
very nice, now lets see paul allen's shield
and i think i would be exactly 4% off block cap from the low roll lmao
ah no 6 off
i am tempted..

because i think i could manage without block but maybe thats cope
just because its vengeance
yeah you probably can
you would say that
and the res rolls are great

nah I mean u probably can manage without
you're only missing 4% over 3 different resistance rolls
Holy!,!
that's gotta be illegal
i'll reroll my boots and try a few no block attempts first, i feel like my damage is so much higher than my rive guys was last season (and that was just a vk 2h slapper) 😄
for shield throw time rot, does the crit chance on this relic need to be 5%? or would it be best if the attribute affix is maxed?
Do you even need crit at all for a time rot build?
You dont need crit chance for time rot
90
just want to ask
how do you keep your mana low at the beginning?
like you are having over 3k mana then you cannot suddently have it low at the beginning
for me judgement is the most reliable way
that thing is a heavy mana consumer
so keeping it low all the time is easy
but if you don't have judgement how can you keep your mana low when at the beginning you have 3k mana
especially if your aim is boss fights?
Hi guys sorry my english comprehension is not working properly. the "whichever is lowest" only applies to the melee attack or throwing/cast speed right?
so like melee attack speed vs throwing speed vs cast speed for the last line of time rot damage per 1%?
so i would be getting only 61%?
oh for fck's sake. I have been looking for this corrupt on my Erasing strike toon. now it came here on my Time Rot Shield Throw
Yes, that’s my understanding as well
why the castspeed for ST? or is that an old brick
thank you nemesis 😄
i really want one of those for the smite toon, my ignite guy doesnt really have access to haste
so im kinda slow ish
ofc I get the frenzy on my reroll SW 😄
especially on paladin it's great
slow class
I'd prefer a max rolls corruption rune result though
on shattered worlds that's huge
damn
will throw a corruption rune on all my failed SW from nemesis to get some rerolls on the 2 LP one
time to go enchant some more large idols and then send some ua attempts
does the corruption mod count as an extra mod for 2lp?
yep it does
oh sick
It's for Rot Grip
You have a lot of melee attack speed and throwing attack speed
So you need to slam cast speed somewhere to buff that node
low frenzy roll, but rest is solid
ohhhh right right
this really hurt 😄
man im over these weaver possession mods
died to a while mob barrage while looting <_< why is that skill still like that
can we use ruined items in gauntlet of strife?
I don't know
cant wait to accidentally reversal to my death on UA
still not fully used to this skill
do you have it specialised?
because getting rid of the second jump or making it another forward jump is quite nice
though the lack of speed scaling is really painful
You loose some of the utility by doing so though
👏👏👏
gonna be my best build of this season
Really nice kill
Judgement is packing dmg
Nice Forged Weapons build

I wonder if Frenzy belt /Atropos + reen would be equivalent
in damage likely
but you will lose a lot of survivabilty
that you definetly need with rampancy and brutality conversions
True
whetstone + jormun is still a lot of dmg multipliers
i have a very good melee fire scissor in non season, will test that after the season ends
One day we will be able to play whetstone Tempest Strike
yeah cant do that im using the frenzy portion and it really is the lack of speed too thats kinda jarring but will see
i do really enjoy the reversal-echoes combo so would be a shame if i cant get used to it for UA
but also selfcasting echoes is pretty fast i guess
the amount of survivablity I get from vengenace really is insane
the retaliate reduction, then the reduction from the node and then forged weapons for 24% reduction
so that I can almost facetank uber with 3.5k armor, dual wield and no shield
just a spare shattered worlds. but i'm trying to follow this build
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/time-rot-void-knight-guide
I saw this mystia build.. is this viable for uber?
Season 4: Shattered Omens / 1.4.2
Sentinel (30) / Void Knight (63) / Forge Guard (5) / Paladin (15)

▸ Armor Mitigation: 78% (10,811)
▸ Block Chance: 93%, Mitigation: 60% (3,046)
time rot? shield throw? mistia? yes
dangit i just realised the altar i wanted to maybe use has a 2 weaver idol limit
how do you even do that these days..
😄
Yes, I killed uber onit
Very smooth too
rely mostly on omen idols 💀
or prep your weaver idols then corrupt it, hoping for the bad outcome that changes the item type
Mystia = banger
oh wow really? because it seems it is his mapping build. The UA one is very different like with no devouring orb.
ok then i will try this mapping build too. I am hoping it can kill uber as I feel i would not have enough time to build a new one for killing uber
jeez ive enchanted this one stupid idol like 30 times now not once seen ignite duration <_< i just wanna corrupt and see if i have a 3rd good one that survived
well I 1 shot uber with full t7 gears :)))
but gear is way different
What do you mean
The one you linked as orb
Yup! based on the youtube video, this is the UA one https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A6PVWjJ0
but good to know you tried the mapping one for UA and worked! Going for that too now.
Season 4: Shattered Omens / 1.4.2
Sentinel (30) / Void Knight (63) / Forge Guard (5) / Paladin (15)
▸ Health: 2,494, Regen: 39.2/s
▸ Mana: 286.51, Regen: 10.48/s
▸ Attributes: 57 Str / 49 Dex / 54 Int / 54 Att / 80 Vit

▸ Dodge Chance: 10% (329)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 67% (5,713)
▸ Block Chance: 91%, Mitigation: 39% (1,212)
I wouldn't call it a mapping one.
That's "the build"
What you call the mapping one is also easier for uber.
Though to be fair I haven't played that exact one.
Mistia always builds these weird
I'm playing the dual wield variant
the one with the aberroth sceptre?
ye
In mistia's setup his "mapping" one is shield blocked but has meh dmg.
he likes to shield block his builds, I don't know why. Maybe he plays hardcore a lot
So his uber one has a bit more dmg.
But it's possible to just play DW and have more "mapping" dmg than his uber one.
And use it for everything
yeah im playing that one too. but when i got the frenzy corrupt on the shattered worlds earlier, i wanna try mystia's build as it uses exulis rampancy
but if im gonna use exulis, im gonna lose the amulet's forgotten knight set and be forced to use a shield haha
Either way both those builds don't make much sense.
They have swaps for block chance on idols, hotswap on red ring and the stat distro is different.
I don't see the point of mixing exulis into it honestly.
But maybe the chinese client/servers are different?
I don't think so.
But in general I see a lot of "chinese meta" where they build tanky variants for comfort, but then play 500-1000c
got a 2lp xylem and a 2lp nemesis fodder so far 👀 need to figure out what that build would want on it, i assume a high crit roll would be big
But we had so much powercreep lately that you can play a glasscannon build meant for 5000c and play it lower, just blast the screen before anything touches you.
Yeah but for omen you wouldn't wanna do that
And any mistia build are very good a 50 ish second uber with some gear thay could use some min maxing no corruption its very huge
Fair, omens are an exception. But likely shadow rend and warpath are the best-in-class for those without competition.
you need extremely little damage to kill basically everything except uber(s), timeline bosses and shades. past a point you’re just overkilling things by a ton for the sake of it. rather drop down damage for tankiness if the excess damage is going to get wasted anyways
I didn't have that experience. More dmg is always good, especially aoe dmg.
It's rare for a build to be able to screen clear a group of rares.
Well, let me put it differently.
ye, you really don’t need much dmg to do that. I was farming extremely fast at 2500c with a setup that did 12m dummy dps
If you don't need more dmg and you have "something" to invest more stats into, my obvious choice would be going to higher corruption or expanding AoE.
At a low corruption, that extra investment is rarely worth putting into tankiness because you oneshot everything anyway
Or movespeed/frenzy.
Invan's warpath last season was a great example.
But that's universally not true for all builds, just "good ones". Most builds are too clunky to run by that logic, so obviously you'd want a "bad" build to be tankier when you can no longer scale its dmg and hit a ceiling.
Which is fine as long as those gear choices are "cheap"
But this idea that "tanky=good" is not universally true because tankiness isn't an easily solveable problem where you do need the tankiness. If it was solveable, then we'd see a lot more high-corruption S tier builds in hardcore, and we aren't.
that’s mostly because 90% of people just play what a handful of streamers tell them to play, and the hardcore community is very small. there are very few things that aren’t HC viable if you know what you’re doing
Ye super small.
There's 100 people above 500 corr, and only about 600 folks who have finished harbinger quest
My point is it's not worth to make all builds tanky.
If you want tankiness, I suggest instead playing a build that is "naturally" tanky and scale its dmg.
It's a fun challenge, I'll give you that. But also requires extreme budget
👀
Bina made a tanky ballista falconer build without giving up too much damage and that's usually silver shrouds or bust afaik
yeah there’s a very small handful of things that can’t be made tanky, most players just either don’t know how to deviate from build guides in that way or don’t want to
jesus the reversal is slower than aberroths entire slam animation and finish
Ignite Vengeance with Wildfire
ah i see
does this build has big AOE
iirc someone showcase'd this and it has massive single target dps
It can kill Uber
Don't think it has insane clear though
I like tankyness because I hate dying even if I don't play Hardcore xD
also if I want to try Uber aberroth (never tried yet) If you get Oneshotted by any attacks it's frustrating, I can't dodge everything all the time
but yeah just a tanky build with no damage won't do any content
They doubled the spread rate
Thing is there's plenty of things that will oneshot you on uber even if you're tanky. And if that comes at a cost of dps, then the amount of stuff that can kill you increases exponentially.
is this best pally build
as i see paladin got buff via the xylem but seems no one plays it
@warped helm dont even need it lol
Judgement aura is the best
Judgement Aura with Xylem is very popular
And fairly easy to start
Ah i havent seem it in high corruption ladder so no idea what happened
Nice to hear that
Guess the build is similar to Mana Flay Lich right?
Literally the 1st Paladin is one
Judgement Aura Xylem
😅
Damn wtf 3t7 gear
Some people do be invested
And the Julra ring with strength to get a ton of brutality
It's pretty insane indeed
maxroll endgame planners just use 1t7 and whatever LP is more common than 1/100
but they do use ideal idols etc
Yes I know. I'm personally not a fan of too many oneshot mechanics specifically because it renders tankyness much less useful
some are fine, but I feel like there are too many currently
but it's a personal thing
With a tanky build or high gear You can survive most mechanics. Only 2 attacks can actually one shot me : the first attack (the wave) and the khamehameha
ok that's fine then maybe I've never been that high engame to see it
A good build to kill ua is warpath : high dps, Easy dodging, no stun
Or ignite paladin : very tanky, you can survive most mechanics if you suck at dodging, and high dps
Or void cleave one shot uber for faster grind
I think I'm ok at dodging (not amazing just ok), I was killing Normal aberroth without being hit often with a Torment Warlock it was just long and painful.
With my Erasing strike dude I just spam and he dies so fast I usually don't even need to dodge much
I played Xylem Paladin most recently. It is impressively strong
I got my Uber kill under a minute with pretty modest gear
There are things I like and don't like.
No traversal is pretty janky. I guess you can replace a ability when mapping but
When your only movement skill is Evade and its also your offensive cooldown (julra), it feels less comfy
Damage output and defense through channeled healing hands is crazy
I was talking about builds able to do mapping. This vc build sucks at mapping
what kind , judgement?
isee theres some fissure gamers in 1kc+ too
Judgment aura ya
Isnt this make the build slow in farming
No traversal
No big aoe
it’s decent in maps. you can drop vengeance for volatile reversal, and can swap a couple pieces for high ms pretty easily. aoe can pretty easily be improved too
ofc it’s never going to be like ballista or warpath, but it’s a pretty decent mapper.
damages over time spells like devouring orb or abyssal decay from abyssal echoes, do they crit ?
both can crit but only with certain nodes. for abyssal echoes you need the hit node, for dorb you need either the collision or one of the hit subskills
question though, why did mystia use madness for this build?
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A6PVWjJ0
or rampancy was only needed on exulis?
Season 4: Shattered Omens / 1.4.2
Sentinel (30) / Void Knight (63) / Forge Guard (5) / Paladin (15)
▸ Health: 2,494, Regen: 39.2/s
▸ Mana: 286.51, Regen: 10.48/s
▸ Attributes: 57 Str / 49 Dex / 54 Int / 54 Att / 80 Vit
▸ Resistances: 80% / 76% / 76% / 88% / 84% / 40% / 40%
▸ Endurance: 59%, Threshold: 882
▸ Dodge Chance: 10% (329)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 67% (5,713)
▸ Block Chance: 91%, Mitigation: 39% (1,212)
Yeah, I'm sure you can adapt it for that, like you can just farm with a traversal on your bar.
Farming wasn't the worst, I was still a running bug zapper at over +100% movement speed.
Bug zapper? Hmm what is that
i think she wants rampancy, and madness is useless. ailments can t crit.
Bis is exalted amulet with time rot t7 set affix, and a corruption rampancy on top of that
ah i dont want to be Frenzy for few secs with 2k4 hp
and 5k5 armor only
80% cast speed vs 87% with rampancy
so i lost around 1k5 hp, 8k armor for 7% cast speed lol
Why you lost armor?
ah i was thinking you play the same build as mystia
he has low armor
with Gaspar set
Has like 67% mitigation thats pretty good
sorry its "she"?
For overkill dps exalted amulet is better but for extra skills which you probably want exulis is great
Idk
what;s a good sentinel leveling build? It always feels so slow moving around @_@
monka
unarmed judgment meme or not
k i think i need some 50-60% attackspeed gloves for UA, way too reliant on reversal/echo for speed
omen veils are actually decent for lvling, even on 100 corr
Firestarter torch + hammer throw + mouvement speed legendaries where you can
If you twink
Stuff like arboreal ring, kestrel armor ect
has anyone done hit shield throw build with face of the mountain instead of sigeon. As in, scaling the block chance instead of flat from sigeon.
hmm 4 exulis in 18 observers
Could see this for Spell ST
so has brutality and such just put xylem judgment way over the top or what happened there with these 3000c guys
i didnt mind judgement aura build back when i played it way long ago but the damage was at that time maybe comparable to good ailment builds
also hit 2 2lp wing guards but i cant even make proper bases for it without any wasted mods 😐
*scratching head " (happened on Lich)
it was already good last season, spirit xylem buff made it go crazy
i don't like one shot builds, I want to actually play the game and clear all content when I make a build.
i assume that build really needs that double corrupted new amulet? or is just the attunement mod sufficient
i keep mixing them up
you probably could, might be a little tricky to cover res though (and it’s kinda gonna force you to take a corrupted stat you probably don’t want). nihilis is most commonly used i think, it gives you a lot of things that are really good for the build. res, armor, %mana, mana regen
you would hit the singular useless mod 😡 sigh
aaah wasting so many precious runes and resources on this glove thing, i just gotta play better i guess, was in last phase plenty times already on ua
what s your gear
?
For mystia's shield throw build, how to proc frenzy?
you can get perma frenzy on relic (corruption) too
corrupted my other relic earlier, could get rid of attunement glove with this one but yeah idk getting impatient upgrading this toon
also kinda dug myself a hole finding this chestpiece so wouldnt know how to replace that attunement, and i like the boots too much to replace those
also found a 4lp renegade today that i'll probably never use on this guy, was already struggling leaving t7 attackspeed ones for 3lp ones alive lmao
@warped helm I think you are missing electrify on your build from symbols of hope to proc the more damage from passive
uhhh i had it somewhere for a while but i also havent looked in a while let me doublecheck
yeah i do still
That's quite a bit of attack speed
ok this feels quite a lot better
most likely silly idea... but can we do something with forgestrike bleed and rampancy/brutality?
this boss still makes me salty, so often i die to something where my character wasnt even standing in
also suddenly my health seems low enough that just about everything stuns me its so lame
lol thats a new one, my boss is just stuck at 65% hp going into p3
which one?
not even the T7 corrupt, gotta trash it
UA
UA kill : 1'35. need the sub 1' kill ^^ can t get frenzy on relic. corrupted 25 shattered worlds, no frenzy
Game seems to want me to play hammer smite?
whats that with, trot?
warpath
game is trolling you, hammer smite sucks
Does this care about throwing speed or not?
Text says yes but then the list of effects doesn't mention it
It counts the three speeds so melee, throwing and cast speed
Okay, that you
Throwing speed is a type of attack speed, and yes it picks the lowest of the three
Presumably stacking fury effect via rampancy is the best way to scale all 3 speeds these days
It is ,with some passives
I haven't touched time rot since 1.2
Nah, forge strike bleed sucks
I might think again if "crit multi from all sources" instead of "crit multi from the tree" is converted to physical pen for bleed
also
I would be very glad if EHG changes the following to smelter's wrath:
change 600 ade to 1200 ade
change "increased crit chance per attack speed" to "more dmg per attack speed"
seriously what's even the point of "increased crit chance per attack speed" in the brightsmith node
I can get 25% flat crit change from base+stinging steel+shattered worlds and 200% crit chance from mastery
and the vulcanic node allows me to far cap crit
the brightsmith node is utterly useless
How is ES compare to Warpath? Seems much less people playing it than Warpath but Im not sure what is the reason
Almost the same damage, just different type of gameplay
due to the flat dmg corruption, frenzy, rampancy+brutality
Es hits harder for sure
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QkYkYaj3 sp far best I can do with the exalt situation in 1.4
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified
Season 4: Shattered Omens / 1.4.5
Sentinel (20) / Void Knight (78) / Paladin (15)
▸ Health: 5,331, Regen: 0/s
▸ Mana: 1,694.05, Regen: 15.76/s
▸ Ward Retention: 32%, Regen: 0/s
▸ Attributes: 67 Str / 16 Dex / 16 Int / 21 Att / 53 Vit
▸ Resistances: 93% / 61% / 81% / 130% / 87% / 88% / 102%
▸ Endurance: 76%, Threshold: 1,334
▸ Dodge Chance: 7% (217)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 68% (5,850)
what s your UA kill time with this beast ?
Idk i have to try out ,I farmed enough ubers last season , its a 18 seconds dummy kill ,and 9 seconds when using event horizon ,no combo no special corruption
No abyssal echoes or vengeance for bossing included
Event horizon!?
Ysah pretty good for es
Ah no im not playing 2t7 build in s4
Unrealistic unless playing MG
Good with t7t5?
2-3 seconds dummy
he plays with controller right ?
5min oreo, that's rough man
tbh for the ring affixes here
mhmm no ignite upgrades, but i got 3 2lp xylem's now

wait where is abyssal echoes?
that thing is needed in every bleed sentinel build
not in meme builds I guess
taste of blood consumes the stacks
and dmg multi didn't help with mapping
preffered the shields for survivability
ye
I need crit multi from all sources
imagine crit multi from all sources are converted to bleed pen
I guess EHG just don't know how to balance things
