Big gamba
plus there's now the fun opportunity to dumpster your gg items via runes of corruption
yeah that's literally the intent. CoF allows you to target farm things but it's still gonna be slower and more at the whims of RNG than MG
jellal is going to have a heart attack
no, the intend was it being a playstyle choice, not a power choice
there is no fun to slam 1T7 stuff when u used to slam 2T7 or 3T7, it sucks
single t7 is first day - first weekend. its over before it even begins
You likely still will be able to get a t7 day one if you're fast enough, certainly by the endo of the weekend
i was about to come online to farm 3T7, not sure i want to play anymore, time to try POE2 i guess ^^
I played few poe2 seasons and it's really bad
Classes and skills are ok but endgame is trash
Saying the classes and skills are ok is a bit of a stretch.
Next season focus will be working on endgame so it COULD improve. Eventually.
I feel like almost every build I've tried just has an enormous lack of supports and itemization to the point where it is just unfun. Theres like, maybe 3 meta builds, 20 reasonable ones (maybe) and everything else is unplayable.
Yep
We'll see what happens when they full release though, all the extra weapons and combos will definitely help.
Mmm how high did you set the bar?
I mean if you want to zoom those full party speedruns that is kinda true
I ainr playing for months to get a t5 affix slam, all the super rarer 2 lp items unless you got multiple copies slammed aint never gonna see corruption
I expect it to be at least 50% as good as PoE 1, and its maybe like 20%.
I mean in terms of build performance
i jellal, are you mad ? LOL
Like in LE (for the most part), i expect if theres a damage skill, it should be able to do maps.
I think most long term CoF players need a moment xD
its not that high of a bar
If you play alone or in small parties and you are ok with t15 not VERY juiced maps , you can run pretty much anything
isnt lava burst in shield throw a spell?
ya
I manged with some really stupid builds
yup
Maybe i just like meme builds too much, thats a possibility.
DID SOMEONE SAY MEME BUILDS?!
Like, i should be able to make living lightning work, or those bomb boots for instance.
Yeah THAT kind of freedom isn't there yet
down Draven, down
what does lava burst inherit from shield throws tree, if anything
I think everything that isn't specifically throwing?
Bro instead of excitement this devs make you think about go play other stuff lmao
Lazare at the end the frenzy axe is buffed but not a lot
Every other time I was excited, this time I am just confused
Yep
I cant decide of FG for shield flame burst or paladin for holy aura burst along side volcanus
Likely paladin better
iirc FG shield burst is pretty good
since you can bounce them off your RoS and the burst still goes off
If forgot they could do that
yeah it's like one extra point to enable it and you're pathing that direction anyway
pally is definitely easier to gear
If you go Shield Throw with CD it can bounce off of you
yep, it s stupid to do that now, they should have nerf imprint at the very beggining
Hmm, most of what I need in paladin is in the first part of the tree, but I do miss out on that global crit
if only there was a shield throw doesnt require a shield node
You dont need a shield for shield throw
Shield Throw... doesn't require a shield?
None of the throwing skills require a specific weapon iirc
I know shield bash doesnt
Its not throwin
bit if a moot point since Im comparing using the shield that auto throws for me vs not now that I thnk about it
holy flame burst has much better scaling, but that also means giving up the shields defense
doesn't shield bash need a node to disable the requirement
or is that rush
this is what I get for trying to do this at work
Shield could get an extra 30 flat spell dmg, but I dont know if 10pts is worth that
and to scale divine bolts with HH you have to take that one node in the tree that gives you the extra bolts right?
Yeah at least 1 point
Well, going FG also lets me use VC for traversal and procc AE, which now hits pretty hard and gives a solid bit of healing on top of the block
I need a sixth skill slot lol
I could just drop ST and use another shield and have AE for my extra damage honestly
yall how bad is the spin2win nerf
Top end pretty rough
But still really good setup
ok so forge weapon no update
FG life
so still not uber viable
How many 2lp cadences do I have to brick to get that FW summon affix from a rune of corruption
That
It's freaking sweet
t1 almost doubles FW summon chance on vengeance
And it's on melee hit
Meaning iron blades will procc it too
That could make the spell worth using 😅
we gotta learn more about corruption outcome odds man
don't even need LP I'll throw xylems in the woodchipper all day till we hit that t6 or t7 increased mana+mana per attunement
volcanus got a huge buff
is it me or is this a quite low value?
or am i missing something
(pasted it here cuz bleed has quite some synergy in sentinel here and there)
I wonder why
it's mostly meant to be a 2 piece set that you have options for how to get to 2 pieces
ok given the sword has potential to give huge crit multi
aah ok
this could be huge ... unsure how well you can scale both crit multi and bleed ofc
yeah this is what's got me debating between rive and vengeance as my FW generator
they buffed the sunforged hammer affix. T5 affix at 10 FW gives more flat fire than the standard T7 flat fire
Vengeance its the best forgeweapons applicator non
whats the build going to be for this season?
idk prob bees
will warpath void knight still be good
always
thank you
You dont need that much attunment its 40 at most for iron blade
how much of a nerf is warpath though
It is nerfed, for non min maxers should be better or ok, but you do less damage and have less aoe than before so for mapping i feel will be okish for bossing not same ,you will need to find streng from corruption to fix said nerf
It's only nerfed for that one build, nothing else changed and arguably enables other builds to use that node since you will be able to sustain the mana cost with investment as non-vk. It hit the top end, and nothing else.
So its nerfed
The skill is not nerfed, one build was nerfed
He said vk warpath so its nerfed
Not what I said but you do you boo
For sure sustain is so much better so the fire version would be better than before
wasnt the fire version just overall worse than void though
Way worse
so it is just completely nerfed
Pretty excited about the sunforged buffs. I feel like theres a lot of neat stuff you can do.
Most people pair that version with smite, full warpath the version that has endgame is the void one you know uber viable and mapping insane
Its what I said 😅
To the person planning a crit smelters, dont forget this
I was really hoping for some blessing reworks too, like those item drop ones are so meh
I was secretly hoping for some idol affix changes since so many are garbo and they're doing this whole idol altar thing
Like... nah game I don't really want 10% cold damage taken as physical on a 4 slot idol
Or less Vitality than 2 Humble Weavers
That too
Xylem with the new corrupted affixes can get some mad mana. Gonna be interesting to see how difficult it is to get the desired affixes
Would void shield throw be terrible on Forge Guard? Could wield Dreamthorn and Sigeon. That new corrupted affix adds a good amount of flat
Hear me out...
50% Multistrike Sword Relic + 1x3 Idol + 3 Corrupt Idol Board + 60% Effect Primal Relic + 40-50% effect on a board affix = 3 more swords every Multistrike...
Seems decent. 😆 🤣
I'm definitely excited to do a Xylem Smite Pally again, it was already one of my favourite builds last season and with the buffs to Xylem and corruption being able to get way more mana it seems like it'll be way stronger
Lava Burst Forge Guard will be very very strong this patch. It will do easily 100% more damage than last season, just from the idol changes, without even starting to corrupt items
what idol changes did that?
- fork for shield throw
- idol boards (or hovewer they are called) buffing enchantments on idols. ALL flat spell damage on lava burst build comes from enchantments on 1x3 idols
- omen idols. If i can squeeze smite on 1x3 idol, I don't need 2x2, which opens a slot for Throne of Ambition
I havent looked at the boards and idols yet so Im blind on that one
fork -> around 40% more dmg
idol boards -> around 20% more dmg
omen and slot for throne of ambition -> another 40% more
on top of that. Primal Cadence got huuuuge buff
it doesn't increase damage by much, but it will make gearing and capping crit chance trivial
how was cadence buffed?
Stats crit chance way higher
how do I not have the patch notes bookmarked
Primal Cadence now grants 6-15% of overkill damage leeched as health (from 4-9%), +6-15 to all attributes (from 4-9), and +6-15% Critical Strike chance for you and your Minions (from 4-9%).
in theory it's a perfect item for attribute stacking now
That stat boost isnt nothing either
it can be also vgood for other builds. even 1lp with t7 all-attributes, can give 150 total attributes
omen idols are huge tbh, tons of power and not needing to enchant them = way less annoyance
gained around 90% more DPS compared to the planner I had cooked up with season 3 mechanics
easier to gear too, assuming omen idols aren't a nightmare to acquire
Im assuming they wont be the easiest thing to get
do we know what bonuses those empowered slots give?
Ah ok, like I said I havent looked at those yet
you can get increased prefix+suffix, suffix, prefix, weaver enchant, and a bunch of other things
"armor per idol in a refracted slot" "health per idol in a refracted slot" etc
do they work on regular idols?
you can put anything you want in a refracted slot
omen idols are really good because they're essentially 4x1 (or 1x4 or 2x2) idols that fit in 1x3 or 3x1 slots
only "downside" is they can't be enchanted
dont mind me Im just gonna put a singularity in that increased effect of affix slot
it's a terrible idea but Imma do it just to see
I mean omen windows are going to start appearing at like lvl20 arent they? totally reasonable to throw a moderately-buffed singularity in there just to get through the early phases of assembling your build
That it would be, though honestly reading through aco, I might be starting that. That change to marrow shards is amazing
this does raise some questions about unlock order of idol grid tiles for non-standard layouts
there is gonna be some wonkness around those layouts for sure
does anyone know if the allies autobomber build will still be viable after the patch? ive never ran it before and was going to league start it, but dont know any of the mechanics or anything for sentinal as a whole so didnt want to troll myself by picking it if it wont work anymore
Actually, with these tablets, I think you can hit like..90% missing hp restored on lunge
Unique idols can't get their stats boosted, sadly
I dont think the investment in mana regen needed is realistic, stacking practically all mana regen sources available (including corruptions) gets me there... with max rolls.
Do you need either regen or void well, or both? Not familiar with WP
either, void knight would take void well, paladin/forge guard would take regen
but like I said, I dont think you can get enough regen to make it viable, especially if you take opportunity cost into account
is there anything in upcoming patch worth getting for minion build like manifest armor/forge strike build? all ive seen are nerfs to tyrant's skull, army of skin, and evolution's end and no buff to manifest armor/forged weapons
They buffed primal cadence and logi’s hunger. That’s about it.
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified

my best build from last season, will see how far it can take me.
Do chances of echo aside from echo knight apply to warpath (like echoing strikes) ? i just saw the VK traits and it says that excludes movement abilities (warpath has this tag) but i guess they are refering to shield rush only? or shield rush too can be echoed?
refering to sr only all applies
I can see why you play offline to avoid the grind now to make builds.
i was actually thinking playing online this season 😭 cause cor ladder
i mean obviously im already testing things offline one doesnt exclude another
lol
yeah, with the huge imprint nerf, i may just go offline to get what i want here on out as I dont have the energy to do the 1LP corrupt meta now.
just play a build that is op on 1lp budget there are dozens of those and no hardcore grind needed lol
I wish, not who i am sadly.
i farmed 26 2LP immortal gloves 13 2LP shattered worlds and a tonne of other 2LP items and have no exalts for them to corrupt now.
lol F
So potentially with perfect Idol rolls and perfect board placement you can get to 500% chance to trigger an additional sword with Multistrike. Seems pretty decent.
Go from 5 swords per to 10 seems pretty damn good.
does that stat actually work that way? I thought it was just % chance for maximum one additional sword and any value over 100% would be equivalent to 100%
Wording is weird. It is one of those that needs testing over the 100%.
Usually "chance to do smth" that's not ailment stop "working" at 100%
It doesn't reference just one on the skill, leaves it to wonder if you can go over. Just says chance for an additional. Stands to reason, maybe if the chance was over 100% for each idol it might trigger multiple times.
Smite's limit for throwing it tied to the reference of a limit per time anyways, and the chance to trigger only a single Smite anyways.
Worth trying later for sure.
I don't think you can trigger more than one smite per throwing hit even if you have >100% chance from the champion affix & idols
I know you can't on Smite. The wording on the Multistrike is a little more vague though.
They had a limit of 100% before anyways with only having 2 Idols spaces at 50% max anyways. I don't think anyone tested it with the Relic anyways to make sure, at least no one posted it they did.
Eh, if not that is fine. I am more thrilled about the stacking effect for idols to get Ghostflame to be almost free again!
That should be fun with the new Aura of Decay conversion too.
corruption and idol changes are bigger buffs then you might think for these minions
EHG allow FWs to summon FWs with the new corrupted affix and my life is yours. Infinite FW chain reaction go
EHG don't let FWs do anything fun
I'll never believe, not for one moment, that this thing wasn't meant to work with FWs
maybe it would just be a mediocre gimmick build but you know it would be awesome
wdym that's clearly a paladin weapon. Paladins are well known for hanging out around volcanos chucking molten rocks at people.
seems like void knight didn't get touched at all balance wise?
thinking of playing erasing strike again haven't played since tombs of erased and that's what I played in that season
I mean its a big nerf
yuge
Yeah but if he wants to play ES it doesn't matter
So I did the math... with enough armor mitigation % and enough luck on corruptions you can get Thorns to be about 5% more damage overall vs. the pre-nerf. Mind you this is insane rolls of 2x T6+ corruptions. But if you're lucky, this could happen.
You would need 2x T6+ Attunment corruptions on both rings too.
Good luck with that
Is it? You can now sustain 5/5 warrior fury with ~1200 mana, never run out. Having a 10s ramp instead of 50s.
but you lose a large amound of dmg
break even point is at 100s at 1/5 in current scenario
assuming you gear swap and dont break the channel
I love Volcanus. Wish I could make it as strong for my Paladin as dual wielding with an Eye of Reen though.
you have to look at the full integral of the entire fight, not just the top peak
What even lasts that long? xD
what are you calculating?
just the 20% per second increase up too what? 50s?
I don't think any build could do 5/5 warrior's fury for 50s
currently not, after patch, yep easy
1/5 was better afaict, but 5/5 looks really good now
I mean if it caps you my as well go 5/5
so..they made righteous fire possible no?
It was always good
@gusty abyss sup mate, cooking anything fancy this season? havent checked sentinel
Not much honestly, I have no idea how plausible it is to get certain corruptions. With pools of 40-80 affixes, I am just not very hyped by it
i foudn it weird that they decided to slap on another layer of rng, i would have expected something more deterministic
Like, is this realistic: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QdzkpZMe
Shattered Omens / 1.4
Sentinel (26) / Void Knight (5) / Forge Guard (60) / Paladin (21)

▸ Mana: 172.51, Regen: 8/s
▸ Ward Retention: 62%, Regen: 0/s
▸ Attributes: 166 Str / 31 Dex / 31 Int / 36 Att / 118 Vit
▸ Resistances: 121% / 54% / 54% / 76% / 73% / 139% / 139%
▸ Endurance: 70%, Threshold: 972
▸ Dodge Chance: 4% (124)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 69% (6,106)
▸ Block Chance: 102%, Mitigation: 62% (3,392)
i dont even know how realistic high tier corrupts are
yeah, my guess is CoF exalted bonuses will apply, but even than, we are probably looking at hundreds of slams...
im not slamming my 0,004% 4lp legendaries 😄 even if you slammed 1lp trash en masse, it would be super rare to get smth useful
not after nerfing imprints, getting bis wont be even realistic anymore for cof
seems fine. you can get 95% of the way there without exact perfect gear
the last 5% were the whole endgame
I can clear the campaign naked. Why not just remove gear altogether
false dichotomy. you can still get perfect gear but it's going to take longer. CoF's intention has always been to allow more shots at loot for your to be able to eventually get your best gear without trade. It's still at the whims of RNG. Nerfing imprints was important for keeping player power in check without directly affecting skills and stats. things just got more rare
one of the first things Mike said on the stream yesterday was that 2+t7 was always intended to be really rare. Imprints super screwed that up
You just said the nerf doesn’t matter since it barely affects player power.
no I said you can get 95% of the way to a perfect build without exact perfect gear
the change is fine
Yeah.. problem is, T7+T5 is still a 1/3 slam. Hitting a corruption is like a 3-5 in 40-80. And you must do your rerolls before slamming. Its going to take a lot of attempts. Its going to feel 10 times worse then missing a 1lp slam when it was still random
yeah and that's fine. that's how these games work
(and then it is still a random tier)
like the whole of the genre is built off of the RNG of loot. removing all of that is boring
how is that any different than what I wrote you said?
No, that’s how this game works.
I mean literally all of the words are different
i planned my build with 1-2 lp at most and 1 t7, everything else is such an insane time sink, thats what it feels like at least
brother PoE, the game this one gets compared to all the time, has so many more layers of RNG to its crafting it's crazy. on top of that, getting BIS stuff with double corrupts runs the risk of straight up deleting your items not just the RNG of which affixes you're getting
that's how the genre functions
Yeah, I am 50/50. Might just wait to see what they do with s5. Hopefully not another 7 month wait.
skill sigils need to be big impact, thats what im banking on
That is how PoE functions, not everyone likes PoE, not everyone likes trade. That is why this game has promise, because CoF exists.
first off, you can delete the item here too.
Second, PoEs crafting and design the completely different were you have enough crafting mats to force things with even super small odds. And until you get to that point there’s plenty of crafting that can be done with consistency on low currency.
You’re comparing mirror Crafting in late game to the only step you can do after your league start is done.
And those late game crafts are ridiculously more powerful in terms of build strength gains compared to in LE
Yeah I'm comparing Mirror crafting to crafting for perfect items in LE considering that's literally the pinnacle of each. Everyone complaining about the imprint nerf is complaining that they can't get their perfect items easily anymore. That is literally the point
it's like complaining you don't have access to that mirror crafting a couple of days into a league as a casual player. the imprint nerf was justified
There is a massive difference between mirror tier poe gear and double t7 lol
you’re comparing the step after 1LP slam with mirror crafting.
That’s not even remotely close
what? no i'm not
I'm talking about crafting with 2+t7 gear and multi LP legendaries
multi t7s were never intended to be as common as they become after imprints
unless there's just a massive disconnect in what we're each talking about here
people are upset that the imprint system was nerfed because of how easy it became to get this game's BIS items. those items were always intended to be exceptionally rare and the imprint system made them way too common. curtailing that player power was important for keeping things in check. now people are in an uproar because they can't get their double and triple t7 items as easily or just print red rings through their tree after getting the first one from a prophecy
however you can still get 95% of the way to full power without it and then grind for that last 5% like every other game in the genre
it wasnt easy though, i dont think you really know how much effort went into getting real bis items
BiS isn't possible to get, there is only what is reasonable to get. The imprint nerfs change what is reasonable. The question is if corruption is reasonable. With the affix pools being as big as they are, I doubt. To many resist/off damage type results possible.
unless you're MG you probably shouldn't plan around specific corruptions unless it's some 1LP unique that's easy to obtain
whats the point of this season then
if thats true, then the faction system has failed. Its supposed to be a playstyle choice, not a power choice
that's how it has been since the very beginning. it has always been easier to obtain your exact gear as MG
you can still do it with CoF but it takes a lot longer
Sure, but it was still reasonable to keep up as CoF. That looks to no longer be the case, and that is a problem.
Now maybe I will get pleasantly surprised, maybe the corruptions are weighted in such a way that it is realistic
well im not corrupting anything until first balance patch, thats for sure x)
I will corrupt what ever I had when I replace it with an upgrade
Get somewhat of a feel for it, maybe there is something to it
Honestly man people who said its fine its the people that had never interacted with true full endgame slams and play like recommend you to try slam 3 lp items and then tell me this nerf is any good
there should have been extra shards or smth to uinfluence weighting of outcome
And I can guarantee they also haven't thought this corr stuff you got tiers of affix for corr while also having a massive pool of potential corruption for no reason cause why should I have as an option 50% of poison damage taken as physical as a corruption it just more bloating for ehg
Like chest piece corr Sentinel ok it has 75 corr outcomes ok of those 60 are recycled affixes from the class and 15 are actual corruption now from those 15 at least 4 or 5 are kinda pointless like the double ress
I have a collection of 2t7 3lp firestarter torches from failed slams for meme builds
Its just so bad how they implemented this corruption mechanic in poe man this way f better
this was a fine change. multi t7s were never intended to be so common
should have just farmed a 4lp torch, its common enough
Again people dont get it and you can't make them understand
Ground loot sucks
Thats ok they can maybe fix that someday
GL corrupting a sceptre though, both melee and spell affixes xD
Prophecy exalts suck as well
Oh your playing sword offhand as a caster? Enjoy the melee corrupts xD
Imprint aint even that good I can drop 50 3t7 rings and maybe 2 of those have the stats I need for my build
So in what world is that overpowered
You know how long and how much grind it takes for any 3t7 craft
Rofl exactly
These are issues that CoF does not fix, but should address. No idea how though.
maybe sceptre and sword shouldnt have melee and spell affixdes but hybrid and generic
This people they think 2 lp craft is gonna be so easy and good when you gotta jungle through all the rng system, also get lucky at jukra cause let's be honest you can get unlucky a lot specially when its a rarer items, and then go for corr go through 75 possible outcomes and oh I got t1 increase mana like ty ehg
They could've make it just t7 right nah too hard to think about the players
Maybe if instead of having idk 50 corruption that are recycled affixes that already existed we could got 10-15 possible choices it wouldn't be this bad cof or mg wise
this has all completely derailed sentinel chat tho. should probably move to general
True that chat is great
But for real Sentinel wise I recommend people going to last epoch tools and make their builds, there is saw the vision of ehg
i kinda want to try something with the buffed echoes hit node
I was messing with it as a paladin caster before the changes and it was fun just not very strong
Does it have enough more damage in the tree?
is there a way to cast smite on spell hit
it should, it inherits all of the more damage from the echoes stuff elsewhere
plus there's the node that casts it extra times every time you cast it directly
plus it looks neat when you do it
It is about 43k DPS, while smite does 10 hits per second at 280k each in my smite warpath setup:https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/skyqula/character/roflcopter
The buff will make it better for clearing, but I dont think its enough to mainline it
yeah smite is gonna be better like 99/100 times
i just like the way it looks
if there's a way to get smite-on-spell-hit somehow there could be something to it with how often it hits
I wish I could just play abberoths command and void cleave while spinning
but I think it's all smite on throw
but for some reason its dot focussed :S
the auras?
yeah, and it has increased dot damage on it. And since its a sceptre, you need to slam reduced cost, which is practically a t5 offense affix
holy that is going to feel even worse now that double t7 is not a thing
if you take uberoth out of the equasion it gets alot more chill for silly builds, i think thats the flavor for this season
i dont see min maxing stuff being fun this time around
Anyway echoes does no damage dot wise
echoes is mostly just a DoT in name. you're usually trying to get as many 5% procs in as quickly as possible or constantly recasting it and triggering the full damage
Like ravaging aura hammer throw would be better i hope some day we get full conversion and we get change to cleave node that gives like 80 void throw changed into for 4 seconds you get that, would be nice
Yeah, I wonder how the new pinnacle will affect things... aside from the global more enemy health and damage they are adding
I might end up setting observer as my meme build criteria instead of normal abby
Yeah, that's how I'm planning atm
depends on where between normal and uber he sits
exactly
lol
Wait, furnace as in the node in smelters wrath?
Yes

isnt that a necro axe?
Fire Necro Spell 2h Axe
So Im guessing that was just the best option they had for furnace?
Im currently trying to decide if Im gonna play VC triggering abyssal echoes or necro marrow aoe with that new splinter nova
hey folks, how big of a nerf is the warpath fury 10 sec limit? Does that limit the DPS like crazy, or does it make it better because mana sustain is now easier?
you almost certainly go 5/5 warrior's fury rather than 1/5 and it's possible to sustain that indefinitely with enough mana
but it's a big reduction in peak dps
For most its about the same with easier sustain, for the big top end, you're missing a kneecap. IT's still a huge multi
True and real
I should try that even horizon build again, just use that node to sustain a huge multi while I spin around once every physical year
how mana mana sustain do you need anyway at max stacks?
Depends with what class vk doesn't need any but pally I think someone made like excel sheet a bit above in chat
Someone far more nerdy than I did that
wonder if that included channel cost reduction
I hadnt seen the post before Id hit enter, hadnt seen it yet
I forgot to put aura active, there is another 30% increased xD
what about symbols?
What about the WP mana node?
Are we really passing on cyclone of war though?
I would think we could get enough plus skills to get everything
I mean, 75% pen is quite big, there is no 2h sceptre though. But you could add 11.7 mana regen per second that way
Yeah, missed that. More affixes just to get mana regen up 😄
I'm not saying it's ideal, 100% meme, it's obvious they want you to spin for a duration and then have to recover, this just makes the duration longer so fewer times slapping people for mana
If only there was some kind of node that did a bunch of damage after spinning for a while to incentivize you to stop 🤔
no, smooth brain only, we spin or we're dead
||Warslash still not buffed btw||
So really for body armor it's gonna be Urzils vs augury plate
warslash into void cleave, if only warriors fury worked for warslash
wait gotta be an axe or sword, forgot
void smash when
so, if Im reading this right, you'd get 10% per purple square as long as small is on top and big is on bottom right?
I think its overall, so you only get it once

wondering how low I can get the CD on VC to be within reason
Gavel works with set items? TIL
It's an exalted
(I hope)
Cus that's 20% more damage that we're losing for no reason
Since shattered chains no longer works
I wish there was a cdr calc, I hate doing this myself, 100% cdr on VC would be what, 2s flat now?
100% inc cooldown recovery speed halves the cooldown
1s passing counts as 2, basically
Cool down/ (1+cdrs/100)
Im thinking FG with that always find a potion node would pretty much let you always have at least 1 charge of VC
Good luck getting that t8 experimental though
is +1% (damageType) penetration equal to 1% more damage of that damage type or...?
if you were at 0% penetration / 0% resistance shred, yes; it's exactly equivalent to 1% more damage
Hopefully runes of corruption are fairly common. I feel like i'm just gonna slam every sunforged hammer I get until I hit the FW on hit stat when the season launches.
Im just now getting to other classes and man do the devs love Primalist. Channel tornado beastmaster will be taking almost no damage xD
Someone's pet class for sure
meanwhile FG living off of crumbs
FG made me sad this season that the one build I use for Sigeon's for Shield Throw got a 33% nerf outright because of the idol slots.
Already struggled for the non-Armor minuon spam version. But now the single-self bounce version just got way worse.
Like I dont think FG is bad, it's just not great. Decidedly average.
It looks worse than it is when placed next to VK and Paladin
I feel like this is one of the ARPG's that I really don't mind if the build is better or worse than others, as long as its fun to play.
Pretty much, you can do a LOT with FG, but VK and pally are just braindead easy
one day I'll get a buff to furnace
One day all the nodes in smelters will actually work
hey at least most of them work
Bolster has been broken forever now
is that the armor when channeling one
I thought people said the armor part didn't work, but it does it's just increased armor so it's additive with your other increases
meaning the increase is miniscule
They fixed Bolster in 1.3
last time I checked in 1.3 at least one part of it wasnt working
The Armor is More, but armor hits a massive diminishing returns wall around 75% which is only like 8k armor
it also naturally doubles your armor while channeling it
it's really easy to hit armor DR cap while channeling SW
Brutality really had potential for Smelter's until they cut it by 60%
Still probably an instant take if you can get it
40% more is 40% more
That is true
yeah i'm gonna use it for my SW build
losing the inc armor from all the strength is rough though
I know I plan on using the frenzy one with vengeance
now that I think about it I forget how you even get that one
also it's 40% more at 100 strength right? keeps going up still?
Honestly the loss of Haste for block is the crappiest part. I get they needed a negative for it, bit that one hurts.
I dont think losing haste is that big of a deal, but Im not a zoomer player so
I think it just doesn't really matter if you're at 215% More Armor from Throne and Bolster. Your base armor could be 2000 and you'd still end up with like 60% armor DR
you're not always channeling though
Yeah, 40% at 100 Brutality
like a lot of mapping with SW is grouping things up then blasting them
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AL09xRyd i'll probably try something like this
Shattered Omens / 1.4
Sentinel (20) / Void Knight (10) / Forge Guard (68) / Paladin (15)
▸ Health: 2,632, Regen: 294.8/s
▸ Mana: 157.42, Regen: 11.84/s

Is the Shield Throw fork thing new?
yeah
I wonder if they ever added area scaling on the Manifest Armour/Shield Throw interaction.
Gotta figure out how to solve the loss of vitality scaling when using rampancy as a non vk
is rampancy the vitality conversion?
Dope, hopefully one day Manifest Inspiration is scaleable with area. Would love to lean into a build with that, and the fork would make it pretty cool.
yes
anything that scales with vitality should still scale with it. unless you mean all the health and resists that vit gives you, those will go away
that is what Im talking about, resists not so much, only other option is going ward that I can think of
Wait, I figured out some more regen for the WP thing earlier, we can run Apathy
I know this is a longshot...does anyone have a 3t7 exalt like this? but with melee critical strike chance and not increased? this is for legacy.
might have a better shot asking general or something
is attunement in forge strike only for the forge weapons or does it also apply to the hit of forge strike?
iirc it's only for the weapons
will try, want to slam a 3LP world splitter and I mean this is good but melee critical is just better.
it's for both. never really thought about using attunement to scale the hit
gonna try for a ignite version
ignite FS or ignite minions?
leaning towards minions
i wanna try a bleed build with Forge Strike at some point
it gets like 245% bleed pen on the tree
not very much in the way of more multis for bleed though
hehe, i just wanna use the the reworked ignite ammy
fair
i mean sunforge set has always been about fire damage
and forge weapons
but its always been average or a bit below at best
also smelter's only scales with str
so im thinking about ignoring smelter +3 entirely
im also uncertain if fire damage nodes for shield wall and ignite nodes for mani armor makes any sense
Sunforged Hammer not great for ignite minions.
aw, even with the fire dmg and ignite chance?
or am i reading it wrong that, that affix only applies to you
Ignite per FW only applies to you
the weapons only use basic stats. special stats like the set affix wouldn't apply
laaame, so the set is purely built for SWrath
i mean technically as written attunement also scales the hit of FS
but you get a lot of benefit from scaling strength
fire/phys pen being the biggest
sorry how does str give fire and phy pen?
towards the end of the FG tree there's a threshold bonus that gives pen based on strength
ah that
@iron basin @silk wasp thank you two for answering. appreciate you both
But ignite swrath doesn't sorta make sense... I dunno haha
same brother
Yeah I've always thought big hit type skills don't mesh well with DoT. Since you want to stack the stacks with fast repeated attacks. I could be wrong but that's what I know xD
back and late to the party, did they buff forged weapons specifically spin to win forge weapon summoning?
Theres a two handed corruption that gives you a chance to spawn FW on hit.
oh now you talking
yeah should be neat
Pretty cool for sure.
we don't know the weightings on corruptions is all
Yeah, getting the right corrupt might be hard, at least there isn't too much difference in the % from tier to tier, you could make a t1 roll work probably.
yeah that's why on my planner I only used a T1 affix on a pretty normal base
Spamming corrupt on Sunforged Hammers (assuming you can corrupt set items) will be my early play I think.
Until I can get some decent maces to craft with the sunforged shard.
are you intending to use SWrath or just FS?
I'm not sure what skill i'll use with sunforged/FW corrupt yet.. so many interesting options.
I did a SW with the explode axe, that honestly was pretty fun, slow AF but fun
Rive, Warpath, Vengeance, Even like... Shield Bash potentially.
If holy aura flame burst ignites, would the more damage node also boost the ignite damage?
it should
I didn't realize that AE had a bleed pop node
really makes me wanna do a bleed forge strike
since the initial hit applies both the debuff and pops bleeds, I wonder if you still get the increased damage taken benefit from AE
Yeah that is a thing, you can get silly numbers
idk what to use for the 5th skill
it doesn't really do much for me
Umm, HOW does it not?
if nothing else it has %damage and endurance threshold, lol
that's like all it offers haha
Damage, crit, edurance thresh regen
it has no bleed synergy, i'm dual wielding so the block chance is a minimal improvement
crit doesn't matter. so it's inc damage and threshold for the most part
which is fine but it feels like there's better utility somewhere else
If you have access to symbols you take it, it's one of the best boosts in the game
I mean, if you don't want 125% damage and 375 endurance threshold or whatever
volatile reversal makes enemies take 15% increased DoT and can cast abyssal echoes for you
oh i didn't know it still has an inc taken node
only for dot builds, and it's a traversal skill, so
you can also get a bit of frenzy uptime and %armor applies to dmg over time
The corrupted affix pool on idols seems a lot less daunting for getting something useful. Only 12 possible options listed for Throne. Fingers crossed Frenzy on evade isn't 98% reroll or something.
i didn't even think about looking at idol corrupts
did they nerf it or am i tripping i swear that was 5% at t7 like a day ago?
i might be thinking of this lol
well we don't know how to controll the tier of the corruption do we? i have no idea how hard it is to get a t7 or t8 corruption mod
I imagine a pain in the rear
if its random it would be 1/8000 corruption for t7 so at point 500% seems low
your telling me i need 8k identicall weapons
no you would need much more than that to guarantee it
8k would give you like 67%ish to have seen the exact corruption once
the 1%doesnt scale, you literally just needa t1
i know but i swear it used to but i have no proof
These are the 1h numbers. The 2h affix is 2%
I wonder how hard it will be to get these corrupted bases, that cursed coin ammy is really good
thoughts on if i should slam this, I mean it's a good exalt, not perfect but I dont want to do another 1000-2000 troves to get perfect exalt for julra to deny me.
I'm expecting affix tiers are as rare as they are now. 6 is uncommon, 7 is rare. Mike said the affixes do have some weighting but we don't know what gets prio
Oh nice they absolutely nerfed the corrupted affix
which affix?
Cause that affix was 5% before 100%
5% increase damage per streng
Made 1 lp more bearable
Might've been. I know they got Dammit more up to date data sometime today
And where did you see that was originally 5%?
Cause I went and did the builds
Checked all affix and stuff
Like example attunment conversion mana regen can be ok even good let's say but attunment stacking is even more op than any other stat
Forget conversion
wat
oh oof the corrupt affix for mana per attunement looks like it got tuned down a ways too
Attunment stacking gave idk now with xylem like 10 health per Attunment and you could get like 11 mana per Attunment
Like relic corr was 4 extra flat health per Attunment
The weapon or somewhere else was like 5 mana per attunment
at least it's flat with tier now? so you're less reliant on winning the lottery to hit the BIS
damn though that might put the 4k mana dream out of reach lmao
For example idk how the nerfs are but judgement aura its absolutely busted if you get your corruption
man 4k mana would take forever to refill
I had 6.6k health, 2.2k health regen , 7.2k mana
Pretty sure uber dead in 40 sec rofl
Mana node alone gave like 3600% more damage
mana node for what
judgement
Judgement
oh yeah makes sense
Aura scales hard with mana stacking
One use and you have insane dps regen, then another use probably after 4 he dead
Yes
that's less exciting than more damage
I wonder if we can get enough mana now to spam things like F and Judgement
apathy might make that possible, or there was another corruption for like increased regen per hundred max mana
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AKgD5YLv aight here's my unga bunga bleed build for forge strike. I put very little thought into it
Shattered Omens / 1.4
Sentinel (35) / Void Knight (10) / Forge Guard (53) / Paladin (15)
▸ Health: 2,598, Regen: 453.62/s
▸ Mana: 114.51, Regen: 9.2/s
▸ Ward Retention: 16%, Regen: 0/s
▸ Attributes: 100 Str / 8 Dex / 8 Int / 7 Att / 12 Vit

▸ Endurance: 57%, Threshold: 1,258
▸ Dodge Chance: 1% (32)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 77% (9,887)
Apathy gives 200% mana regen at 100 attunment right , it can be good
That's what Im thinking, and you only need a t1 apathy roll, it's what 2% per?
yeah it is
i was using it on my avalanche shaman and got to ~60 mana/s in the planner
Good thing only 6 corruption on amulet ,I hope the amulet doesn't come with double corrupts
Cause it drops corrupted
I mean didn't one of the teaser images show an exulis with two corrupt stats
yes
they didn't explicitly confirm it, but mike gave a hint hint wink wink that it drops corrupted
we just don't know if it always drops double corrupted or if it can have some number of them
Yes thats why I hope apathy vitality should be bad if thats the case combo
I honestly just did my planner with the shade amulet not ven use stats stacker amulet
I mean apathy had to be strong because losing what Vit gives is a tall order on most builds
All the values are massively nerf so yeah ahha
A lot of them were just broken good, not surprised.
Wait, guile reduces CD of movement skills, I might need to lunge
mainskill lunge time?
The memes, they call to me
imo that skill is still almost unusable without the helmet that lets you free target, I hate being dumped right at an enemy's feet
It's really not, if you use it like I do, which is as a panic heal button
That helmet needs a buff man completely useless since I started playing this game maybe was great on beta
i don't really mind lunge tbh. as a movement skill it does its job of getting me into unga bunga range
Depends it was a lot better before
Sentinel either uses shield rush or void cleave nowdays ty god for voidcleave
sure but it being better before doesn't make it bad now
It should just not have any restrictions to it would make it more fun for other build to map cause personally I think healing hands traversal id popo
I miss voidcleave getting free noclip through walls
cheesed the daylights out of dungeons with that lmao
oh damn it hit, niiiice
Gz
yeah, it hit... when it counts.
you just gotta close your eyes before hand
it works 100% of the time that way
if it didn't work, you didn't close your eyes hard enough
yep
also I love how worldsplitter randomly has the bleed implicit because of the base type
yep, it is interesting
I did some math for Lava Burst Altars. The new affix (fork) and 2T7 Pyramidal Altar and 1 omen idol alone will give the build up to 157% more dmg. Maybe this is finally the season of Forge Guard 🙂
lb altars?
you mean idols? you only get one altar
in the spreadsheet I compared different altars against each other
so I think the lunge thing is dead because you pretty much nuke your defenses
I guess I could drop iron flexes
but I dont think you can get the CD low enough, with this much cd I might as well be using VC
what are you talking about?
Memes for Lunge
I also noticed that the queen been from the new set gets abilities, I demand the same for the crab ring
Its got some big added dmg effectiveness too.
I know, I wish all the summons got that treatment, I would love a glass cannon crab nuking things
They basically just copy pasted an existing enemy like they did for crab
I...I think I may have found a new candidate for ruby fang memes
Oh yeah?
So, one of the new sets converts dancing strikes to fire
and since DS can proc shurikens, burning daggers, and SC, I think the potential to stack dots is higher there. NGL though it's gonna be a tall order beating vengeance+HH
How would you run Ruby set and the new set sword though?
Ah yeah, forgot that existed/
I need to look and see if any of the new affixes or items give me better options. The best would have been for Rive to get converted to fire and then I would just laugh
Theres still a few uniques to be announced right?
Ive no idea
I think they said like, 11 total and they've teased 5 or something.
Could be wrong though
I know the letools has 8
Maybe I'll finally join the dark side and play VK
do it
I wish they would make time rot work the same way as the other ailments
you can play a cool build then obsess to craft the character into perfection
Why so it would be bad
It's capped at 12 right now
Time rot was trash since it existed same with future strike which kinda got removed
Yeah 12 but scales so hard with more damage that is the best dot build in the game
I dont know about that now
This season its going to be even more busted time rot
Oh time rot destroys while mapping and uber very easily,so far you have like 4 viable builds devouring orb ,hammer throw, erasing strike and shield throw, shield throw combo is a bit more complicated but its second best damage, erasing is the best applicator but the gear you need ro get for it like dual wield exalts and using the set primordial ring can be very annoying
And so do pretty much all the other dots
Yeah but none compare at all to time rot
We'll agree to disagree
Bleed is the best of the infinte dot and its worse than time rot
When you play it you know why
k
The node that makes it scale with slow chance, skill speed and chance to apply TR is insane
The more damage the skill that applies timerot gets from Brutality as far as I understand affects ailments so idk 100% more damage there for erasing time rot extra the idols as well get more damage from them
actually I need to look into MS stuff too but that is a problem for tomorrow me
It actually always drops as legendary/corrupted
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzAcBYDYE4g
always with 2, and a possible 3rd wow
If it wasn’t capped they’d just lower base dmg and multipliers and it would be even weaker for several skills.
was Warrior's Fury nerfed or buffed ?
Think someone said you need 1200 mana to sustain 5/5. so up to that much mana, it’s a pure buff. Haven’t done the math to see how high in mana you have to go before they even out. But my guess is, a lot.
There’s also a nerf to gearing, so question is how high on mana we can realistically get.
Id mark it down as a CoL change and a buff.
Shattered Omens / 1.4

Magecuckery in this sacred place!
hmm, shield bash forge guard is going to have big buff
the berserker belt seems insane
hmm, I saw a smite paladin build in maxroll for next season
finally smite is good on paladin?
berserker belt
it make you deals 15% more dmg while having frenzy
and increase frenzy effect per strength
Well it's for any build
not every build stacks 200 str
other builds has better primodials for them. Also forge guard has a lot of strength
which is good for this item
I see, makes sense
Can Frenzy affect the attack speed of the Shield Bash skill?
Nope. Shield Bash isnt affected by attack speed, so it also ignores Event Horizon penalties
Then why use Fangs of berserker for SB?
Leech and More Damage I guess? Kinda why people used Chains before
Shattered Chains now only works for melee void damage, so Fangs of the Berserker is an option for another source of more damage on belt. It can give more, since it scales, but it also increases damage taken, though most SB builds will probably still be giga tank regardless
You also get to use 2 red rings, which offsets the increased damage taken a bit
um how to make frenzy without drinking potion?
Shield throw, Volatile reversal, Lunge. There's even a new corrupted affix that gives perma frenzy
thanks I will see all hehe
not sure about shattering strike spellblade
and literally every dex melee builds
since the primodial dagger gives 40 pen and +4 dex skills
which might be more useful than the fangs of the berserker
Dual wield builds can use the new Jormun set for 20% more instead but it'll limit your weapon choices
? I was talking about Shield Bash
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/echo-warpath-void-knight-guide#gameplay-header
falcon fist for warpath ,.... why?
attack speed and flat damage
where flat damage?
what affix
the build scales void damage and phys
melee fire damage is bad no?
Yes, but it's still more damage than any other gloves before uber. Which is why you switch to Immortal Vise as soon as you can
fair point i guess
12 slams ready to go for julra... then to corruption. i wonder how this will end
Is there anyone with a planner to shield bash paladin?
Kinda wanna see if I can make this sunforged ignite thing work with shield bash on Pally, but it probably just ends up being way better on forged guard. Having a shield with FG vs (This node on pally) is definitely a sticking point though.
Probably too hard to make it tanky on Pally.
Can get crazy ignite duration from it.
but you're probably right, its gonna feel weird.
Maybe I am wrong
just meme builds rattling around in my head
Oh absolutely.
Nah, Crafted Sunforge at the end of the day, with the corrupted FW on hit.
How much ignite chance?
Oo
Ideally yeah
Base
13 i believe
Really? That much
You miss out on the two from FG
Oh wait
more than that
Yeah, Pally might just be off the table.
9 total
810 ignite
It's 6 as Paladin
+3 from sunforged
15 on Forge guard
which probably just ends up way better than pally
Yeah, was just kicking ideas around with Pally, 50% more dmg is nice, but you get way more out of FG.
Hum.... 'if you go t8 you can't have Entwined legends
Because you could run t7, Entwined and pale ox
It's only 60% Ignite though
Shield bash also just one of many skills that I'm looking at, thought the ignite duration stuff would be neat, but you could also do like, vengeance, Warpath, etc etc.
At the end of the day, 90% ignite from sunforged just feels really solid.
Shield Bash has a fixed AS
So running a Mace isn't that much of a down side
That's why its so nice on FG
And don't mind the 2h+ Shield setup
Yeah, the trade off between Vengeance and Shield bash is pretty high though too, Vengeance is probably where I end up.
The ignite duration stuff probably doesn't beat the amount of ignite stacks you'll pump with iron blades.
plus the damage reduction and all that
Could also run hit based with Rive, would be very cool with Scrap Metal.
Run whatever pumps the most scrap metal out per second, then chunk big enemies with Rive.
Obviously not great with Sunforged, but its a cool concept.
That FW corrupt opens up a ton of cool stuff.
is scrap metal from Rive a non-bo with Sunforged set?
Scrap Metal stacks don't count as having Forged Weapons if that's what you're asking
exactly, thank you
so it wont work with the sunforged stuff
Yeah, would go a different route if you did scrap metal for sure.
Is it possible to make an uber abberoth viable Shield Bash Paladin?
so how effed are we, fellow spin2win enjoyers, with the channel limit now being 10sec on WF
More consistent damage, but less top end seems to be the consensus.
Probably feels comfier anyway.
You will be able to spin for ever and never drop it
wonder whats our dmg plateau gonna be now, things wont fall over above certain corruption thresholds anymore
Hum, with t7 butcher crown you need 720% Inc Mana regen to sustain Warrior Fury
Not sure you can get that much
yo vlad, is LE tools saying sentinel relics can get bees per 10 seconds as a corrupted affix legit?
They show it in a teaser too
oh
You better BEElieve it

Its a long ass fight
make it facetanky enough to let you take the last phase on the cheek and you should be fine
I know right
Shield bash forge guard is stronger
Yeah but I dont like Forge Guard
Then you will use the axe momentum plus next league new shield
At least stacking strength you will get enough more damage to do uber realiably
Forgeguard version though lot stronger now
what is the name of the new shield
Not sure its on item showcase,25 block effectiveness per ms seems good overall end up will like 200 extra flat after min max
Heresy!
Heresy?
There should also be some combo of mana regen + max mana that lets void well sustain you
Hmm, debating on which primordial item to use on this sunforged/vengeance/ignite build, could go Onslaught of Cerata, Wildfire Embers, T8 Sunforged Hammer, or Legends Entwined to run Mantle. I feel like all of them are pretty useful.
Does anyone know if Maehlin's Hubris also converts the self-bleed from Penance in the Paladin passive tree to ignite?
It should I think
thank you!
Anyone wanna check my math on Wildfire Embers vs a boss?
Wisps last 8 seconds,
Chance to create wisp = 30%
Procs every half second.
So 8 x 2= 16 procs,
16 x 0.3 = 4.8 wisps up at any given time during a sustained bossfight.
Each wisp has a 12% chance to repeat your skill use.
4.8 x 12 = 57.6% chance to repeat skill use at any given time on average.
Lower end can probably just say 4 wisps at a time to be safe, so 48% chance.
Does that make sense?
or am i missing something.
thats like saying when you toss a coin twice you have 100% chance to get head, but should be around 50% i guess
Yeah, fair. Figured rounding down to 4 would take care of that XD. I am not great at probability math.
I didnt play with that amulet yet, it probably depends on the boss, if it moves around alot, you cant be near all your wisps
12 metres is a decently big radius, but thats a good point, there might be a few cases where they are out of range.
what abilities you wanna copy?
Vengeance.
ok
Corrupted Sunforged Hammer for the chance to cast forged weapon on hit, plus iron blades for the extra chance to proc. Should be an easy 15 FW to get a big chunk of ignite chance.
we can corrupt sets?
Says you can in the tools anyway.
Could very well be mistaken.
I dont think that is the case because you cant do anything with sets in the forge can you?
I'm not sure tbh.
Haven't seen anything saying you can't.
you can also corrupt uniques, so why not sets
Would definitely give sets a leg up
You'd ideally still want to corrupt a crafted sunforged hammer eventually, but to start off, mass corrupting the set will get you rolling anyway.
if we can do that, now I gotta see what corrupt to but on the RF set xD
not as many options as I was expecting
Hopefully I've got enough survivability without mantle, I feel like wildfire will really bump the dmg up a ton.
i wanna test how good wildfire is with void cleave for molten infusions on bees/forged weapons
I wouldn't get your hopes up. Wildfire is infamous for not doing what you expect it to do
molten bees
haha yeah
They did double the proc rate, so it might be quite good now.
i wonder if the wisps also move when you use a movementskill and they copy it
Would be nice.
It's not a matter of proc rate, but what actually works with it. For instance Molten Infusion just might not work at all
Yeah fair. I would think it would... but i guess theres always a chance that "directly" doesn't count the wisps attack, despite it saying it counts as you casting the skill.
Ye, everyone thought the same months ago 😅
I think I'm gonna go ward FW though with my build, theres some interesting body armour corruptions that give you ward based on your life regen, and a couple other ways too. Get a decent chunk of hp regen from the FW too.
4% isn't that much overall, 4 per hundred how much can we get?
Yeah i guess thats true. Would probably need to go really hard into life regen to make it worth it.
how many pieces of gear can we get that on?
Helm and Body armour I think. Helm's is a bit lower % though.
Maybe boots? not sure.
So 10% is likely the most realistic amount overall
Which at 2k is nothing to sneeze at
I wonder if this one makes more sense.
how much mana can we get realistically.
Ah, not too much.
hmm
This one might be good.
Just body armour looks like
body and belt, so 30%
Ah yeah
Thats pretty good.
Crazy amount of ward from this too with the new corrupt.
Should be able to get quite beefy.
the man spent gained as ward decay thresh is an interesting one. Judgement builds will love that I imagine
Is sentinel the best “newbie” class?
lost bear gloves, blessing, and holy symbols along with pally tree
So yeah, to the moon
Everything is pretty newbie friendly, but sent definitely has some smooth brain builds. Warpath is about as simple as it gets
Are there any builds that have very minimal button pressing?
Warpath is literally spin to win, you hold button and spin around. Erasing strike blows up screens with a click.
Judgement focusing on the burning aura is really simple as well
I wonder if they've fixed the desync issues
This one is pretty cool.
would go really well as a defensive layer for builds that dont spend a lot of mana
Can paladin be focused on 2h weapons and do well? Or just mainly void knight does 2h?
can use whatever you want only worry about 2h if the skill makes you use one
I still gotta decide what Im gonna play
Xylem Paladin. You stack a bunch of mana and attunement. Works with Smite (Devotion) and Judgement.
IVe been around long enough to know what's 'good', I'm more about finding something interesting to play.
Hmm... yeah, there's not a lot of new and interesting stuff for Sentinel this time around. A lot of builds getting better, nothing that looks build enabling though.
For sents no, for Rogues it's raining fun
Lots of new defensive options out there for us though
I haven't even looked at rogue yet. Usually not my kinda class, but maybe there's enough to feel like a shadow mage
Not mine other but the total fire conversion for dancing, cinder, and shadow strike has interesting possibilities
How much mana do you end up getting?
Depends if you follow maxroll version you wont min max enough
Mostly just looking for a ballpark.
Erasing strike 0 changes apart from idols, maybe will see if someone updates the build
For example its possible to get to 7.2k mana but thats not realistic at all with this rng corr system
I say once you get to 4k mana you are in a good spot
Build was 1-2K mana in S3, but S4 can go to like 3-5K. But it'll be very dependent on chasing corrupted affixes for extra.
Cool, thanks! Some of the mana related corrupts are pretty cool, so was curious what kind of investment is possible for other builds.
I can see a ward based WF warpath this season, since apathy gives much needed mana regen and we lose vit bonuses
how much mana regen did we need to sustain WF?
does weapon specialist on rive give the axe and sword bonuse if duel welding?
Finally maxroll decided to make a guide for this https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/judgement-aura-paladin-guide
They should have done so since season 3 already
Yes
Judgement aura?
You know it👍
Yeah very good build
Maxroll should have done it in season 3
Idk what took them so long
Will get it to where online play can you know, maxroll version seems weaker
Not weaker much compared to maxed gear, you just get imperfect prefixes
This build damage is determined by prefixes alone
@austere frost how do you think of the smite paladin version maxroll posted?
I didn't check that one
I did not see where the belt can make your mana to 0
I saw some and look bad only changed like idols and from normal gear they go to impossible gear corrupted all items like wtf 3 lp splitters
Too slow for me i aint running around with foot mountain boots, does thay belt give dr with the meteors idk it used ro be good ,then they did something to it and was niche
I guess for lightning build I will stick with javelin then
Its moves better anyway and crit lightning spear pally is good
Btw don't we have any other boots that gives attunement?
Or at least lightning dmg/lightning pen?
Sadly no
We should get another option cause for mapping all stat boots are rough
@austere frost does the "chance to summon forged weapon" affix help forged weapon at all?
Meh it helps but forgeweapons needs more scaling damage wise and tankiness vengeance already is a good forgeweapons summon skill
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/Qnap1bxK
My build for 1.4. Hype
Shattered Omens / 1.4
Sentinel (20) / Void Knight (93)
▸ Health: 2,766, Regen: 0/s
▸ Mana: 969.53, Regen: 17.2/s
▸ Ward Retention: 4%, Regen: 0/s
▸ Attributes: 33 Str / 2 Dex / 2 Int / 2 Att / 11 Vit
▸ Resistances: 70% / 46% / 56% / 48% / 64% / 65% / 65%
▸ Endurance: 60%, Threshold: 789
▸ Armor Mitigation: 55% (3,699)
▸ Block Chance: 3%, Mitigation: 5% (30)
The fact they scale with attunment is so bad when forgeguard has a ton of strength in its tree
damn so this build officially now no longer has space for throne of ambition right?
Can you please make this build in LETools? I think I might be interested
Maybe when I have some time
We ready
What's bad about the guides? Most builds didn't get any changes so the only thing there's to update is idols+corruptions
Aspirational is just to show desired affixes, we know the aspirational planner is very unrealistic now with corruptions
They're not mandatory, just use any high movement speed boot, there's options listed on the guide
Meteor has a high mana cost, you automatically cast it with the belt on crit so even with 1k+ mana you go to 0 very fast
